Sorry, I've been a little busy with new work and just haven't felt great inspiration to write)
The dream came on rather quickly, nothing that wasn't normal especially for the daughter of the goddess of magic. Kassie was teleported back to the frozen over apartment of her father's. She remembered that incident all too well, the one that finally caused her mother to appear before them both to explain who she was and where Kassie needed to go before monsters began to target their home. "She must leave this home, or you will face unnecessary consequences my love" Hecate stated. Her father's blank stare at her mother was all Kassie needed to know that she could leave without even him noticing at that point.
"Dad, I'll be fine. I can take care of myself despite what you think," Kassie muttered coldly. Just then, the dream faded to nothingness and she just drifted through sleep.

Shadow nodded with a small sigh as he looked past Kumiko to the arts and craft building. "Have you built anything lately or done anything? I know you are a good healer, but anything more?" Shadow asked. His knowledge of others wasn't fully great, so learning new information and stuff about others.

Circe was a bit taken aback by the sudden compliment coming from the the son of Athena. She was not used to that due to many of of the houses Sea and Wisdom deities would seldom compliment each other. Holding the handles of the daggers tight she asked, "Do you truly think so?"

Axel w/ Circe- bloodrosepeltAxel thought for a moment, then shrugged. "I don't use daggers much, I'm better with a sword or a spear. I can manage with a bow, but the children of Apollo are much more skilled at firing arrows than any child of Athena." He picked up a sword from the Armory, examining it for a moment before adding, "I'm just saying, it seems like your training has paid off."

Circe just looked at Axel as he picked up and inspected the sword in his grasp. With a nod she said, "Thank you." Looking him over once again she then felt the need to say, "You are strange." She did not mean this in a negative way, just that he did not act like how she expected.

Phi looked at Dakota for a moment before letting out a deep sigh. "Yeah it is dangerous, but that is just an average life for us now isn't it. Aside from this small camp we are constantly hunted by dangerous things that want nothing more than to claim are heads," he said with an exasperated tone. Pulling out his flask he said, "If you don't want to go then fine, but don't let it be based around of fear of the reality of are lives."
Axel's statement made Circe think for a moment. Everyone in the camp was rather strange, beginning with their birth. With a nod she said, "Yes they are." Feeling a bit a crossroads as to what do now she just pointed at his with her left pointer finger and asked, "Spar?"

Axel w/ Circe- bloodrosepeltAxel let out a small snort of amusement at Circe's word being phrased as a question. Of course he would like to battle train, what kind of question was that? "You don't have to ask me twice," he replied.

Circe gave a nod as she turned to start walking out of the armory and towards the training grounds. As she walked she seemed to be thinking as to how she could take on this boy. Once as the battleground she just pulled at her daggers and got into a fighting stance, he knees slightly bent and the dagger in her right hand pointing up while the left was pointing down.

Axel w/ Circe- bloodrosepeltAxel followed Circe, gripping the sword in one hand. He had never fought her before, so he didn't have much of a clue about what techniques she used. He didn't worry much about it, though, and let his arm fall to the side as Circe got into a fighting position. "Ready?"

Dakota sighed. They took a moment to think. Phi did have a point. Danger was a part of their lives whether they liked it or not. Perks of being a half blood, they thought. They weren't sure whether they should go or not. Going to the forest won. You only live once anyways, they thought. "Alright, I'll go." |

Crice gave a nod towards Axel before saying, "Let's get it started." With a flued motion she launched herself at her opponent. Once close enough she used the dagger in her right hand to diagonally slash as his abdomen.
Phi was a tiny bit taken aback by Dakota agreeing to break the rules like that. With a smirk he took a massive swig of his soda flask and said, "Then what are we waiting for, let's get going before you change your mind."

As the two blades collided Circe could feel Axel trying to make her loss her grip on the dagger. However, using the force of her opponent to her advantage the quickly spun on her heel, pulling the the right dagger away while upon the complete rotation bringing the left dagger aiming towards his side.
Phi quickly followed behind Dakota, his smirk never once leaving his face for a second. Once they got the the edge of the camp grounds he asked, "You sure you ain't gonna chicken out on me?"

Axel w/ Circe- bloodrosepeltKeeping his eyes on the dagger in Circe's left hand, Axel dropped to the ground in a roll and got back up with no time to spare. He rushed her with the sword pointing at her thigh.

Circe was thrown a little bit off balance by his quick movements, so ended stumbling a little. However, as Axel came to strike her thigh she put what was left of her momentum to try and flip backwards, thought that did not save her fully from getting cut.

Circe stood up from her flip and looked at her right calf where she got cut by Axel's. "I'm fine," she said while moving her right dagger to the cut, coating it in her blood. In a swift motion she slashed the blade in the direction of Axel sending the blood flying at him. As the crimson liquid flew it slowly solidified into deadly shards of blood.

Axel w/ Circe- bloodrosepeltAt the last moment Axel noticed the shards heading towards him. He tried stepping to the side, but some of the blood shards cut the right side of his cheek open. He touched his hand to the wound and examined the blood on his fingers. “Interesting.” He smirked and rushed Circe again, though his sword was lowered this time around.

Circe watched as Axel charged at her with his sword down. Not wanting to take any chances she spin her dagger in her right hand to point downwards. She quickly raced to meet him in the middle and attack.

Circe tried to swipe at Axel when the two got close, but missed due to the him sidestepping out of the way. She then let out a shocked gasped as her opponents blade came and sliced into her shoulder.
