Sure did. I forgot the word for road once. Or Straße, since I'm german. My brother and I were driving to our grandparents and there were some people walking in the middle of the road even though there was a sidewalk. Annoyed, I muttered something like "Why the hell are they walking on the road?". Well, except I forgot the word and said Autobahn instead. And as everyone knows, you do not walk on the Autobahn xD

I know it's not exactly the same, but that's what it made me think of lol

I couldn't remember 'Ferris wheel' and had to ask my brother who was also in the room.
I also forget words when I'm trying to write and it's the worst haha

Uhhh I think I was like 'the circular wheel thing at Lagoon.' since that's the closest place to where I live that has one. When he didn't understand I had to further clarify it's the one he doesn't like to go on cause he's afraid of heights.

Oh gosh, that reminds me of the time that my sister's shot glass fell into the garbage disposal, and we didn't know until after we turned it on. That did not go down nicely.

Okay, this isn't the same thing at all, but reading through this thread make me think of a time I slept over at my friend's house after we were at a football game (we were in the marching band). We were playing video games and I had basically fallen asleep sitting up. It was around 2 am, and she asked me what time it was, and with FULL CONFIDENCE I replied "7:49". 7-49 was the score at the end of the football game. XD

Unfortunately my living options right now are tiny city apartment with thin walls, or college dormitory with thin walls, so I can't play anymore without feeling like someone is listening to me, which I hate. I seem to recall you saying you played a brass instrument once upon a time, but I can't seem to remember which one.

My sister played the clarinet, my other sister played the trumpet lol Aw, I'm sorry, could you like get a wardrobe, and play in there, or a large safe, or something? I originally played the trumpet, so we wouldn't have to worry about getting another instrument, because I could just play my sister's, but I sucked at that, so I was switched to the baritone, which I still sucked at, but less than the trumpet.

My clarinet is my brother's old one lol. I switched to flute for a short time in middle school because I had always wanted to play the flute, but then realized I sucked at it, so I switched back. I kept it up as a hobby, I just didn't play it in a group. I think you're woefully underestimating how loud instruments can be, my friend. Even if I play quietly, it's pretty much guaranteed that everyone on my floor will hear me, and the clarinet is the quietest instrument of them all. XD And I know this because I used to live on the seventh floor of a city apartment, and there was a dude who played trumpet in the park outside the apartment, and I could hear him clearly even with the windows closed. Instruments are loud things.

About an hour ago I couldn't think of the word for antibiotic
I just kept thinking it was LIKE antiinfection or something, but couldn't come up with the word
I have this habit of making words up, though I can't think of any of them now
My mom asked me what time it was once and I told her "Noon thirty" and she wasn't amused

I can't think of any words I've forgotten, but once I forgot how to spell the word "door"
I tried googling "doar" "dore" etc but google didn't help and I literally just couldn't figure it out. I was like 17 at the time so age wasn't an excuse lol. I ended up having to ask my 13 year old friend how it was spelled, so yeah, not one of my finest moments.

Turin not TorinoHahah XD Midnight thirty @bouncefeather My sister does stuff like that a lot. And whenever I look at her strangely for not knowing how to spell such a simple word, she's just like, "It didn't look right when I spelled it that way!" lol

As I work in a medical field, a thermometer is forever being called a sonic screwdriver as those temporal (forehead) ones make the same sound. That's funny lol
