Ever since Breezelight became leader, the entirety of RiftClan had became in chaos due to his brutal ways of life. The former leader chose Thunderstorm as deputy after the one before him was killed from being over worked. Thunderstorm decided he would end the terror Breezelight cause on the clan by killing his own leader in the middle of the night, not realizing some of his clan mates saw it happen. Since he became leader, he thought he could make things better, but doubt clouded his mind that maybe some of the cats might betray him just as he did with Breezelight. Now he is becoming more self conscious and aggressive as time goes on. His mate, Foxfrost, was once pregnant early on in their relationship and lost them soon after their announcement. They were afraid to even try having another until the prophecy about kits who would save the clans changed Thunderlight's mind. At last they were happy to announce their pregnancy and were given healthy kits. Thunderlight has become more aggressive with training young cats; making kits apprentices at four moons and allowing the use of teeth or claw for training. The fear to be overthrown by a clan mate drove him to teach his own kits until someone trustworthy who wouldn't 'taint' his kits minds surfaced. | Son to Robinfire and brother to Wolfshadow. The young cat was full of adventurous spirit, love to his entire clan, and energy to run laps around the camp. Once he became an apprentice, he tried everything to impress his mentor and parents to show he would be the best warrior in the clan. One fateful day during a walk through the upper caves, Silverpaw wanted to show off his jumping skills to his mentor and while he threw himself forward, his miscalculated the length of the other ledge. His paws barely scraped the lip of the ledge before falling, breaking three of his legs in the process, and now has ended up in the medicine den in recovery. Ever since the incident, his personality did a 180, turning cold and closed off to the clan. His entire spirit almost seems to have left his body as he hears the soft whispers of his fate. After three moons has past, Silverpaw's legs were healed quite well except a limp in his hind leg that causes him to struggle to walk at times. Whenever he gets a chance to try training by himself, he strains his limbs and has to start all over to let them heal before going again. Born into SummitClan, Patchpelt has always questioned the existence of the Ancestors and the Haze. She used to believe in them in a younger age, but it slowly dwindled after the death of her little brother, Graypaw. She hasn't seen any signs from her brother and didn't even attend his body being burnt due to her anger towards the Ancestors for letting someone so young die. There are times she may speak out about their traditions, but she isn't afraid to let them know her distaste to their religious beliefs. At points, she does get a bit worried they'll kick her out from her distaste to their beliefs and has to hold her tongue whenever someone brings up the Ancestors or traditions regarding them. The war hasn't changed Patchpelt's views on the clan or the belief they hold. Some "side characters" for RiftClan. I don't intend to kill any of them off during the time skip, but some of them may die soon thereafter. I want one of the apprentices to get sick, and the other to at least try to be on the patrol to get the herbs to save their littermate. Thinking that at some point maybe Robinfire speaks her mind to Thunderlight at some point and has some negative consequences for that (maybe even being banished, or outright killed?). The rest will probably die off over time either in battle or from being overworked.* will probably be a new warrior after the time skip (unless you want to do his warrior ceremony right before or right after?)* should be becoming an apprentice right after the time skip or right before it ends. Would maybe like the end of the time skip to be their first day as apprentices?Edit: added Morningstripe.
