Duskflower/ ThunderClan camp
Duskflower was more than ready to start he day as she stretched by the entrance of the warriors den. She had been on the dawn patrol and and the trek about the territory had been enough to sap her energy and she took a nap as soon as she arrived back. How she managed to avoid Timberfangโs sharp gaze- that was now focused on her apprentice- was a mystery to the creamy brown warrior. It had been some time since Lionstar died and Duskflower wholeheartedly agreed with her choice of successor despite his youth but she was rather upset when none of the You her apprentices were given to her. He knew best as leader and Duskflower knew sometimes she oblivious to her own flaws so only StarClan knew why she wasnโt over looked.

Needlepaw || Thunderclan Camp || With: Timberfang (สแดษชษดสแดแดา ๐ )
Needlepaw glanced up as he heard pawsteps approaching and pushed himself up so he could sit. "Good afternoon, Timberfang," He replied politely, nothing showing his previous irritation except for a spark of defiance in his eyes. "I was going to check on the Elders," He continued, voice practically dripping innocence and sincerity as he looked up at her with wide eyes, "Truly I was. However, I'm afraid to say that Leopardpaw has already done so and I have missed the chance." Curling his fluffy tail around himself, Needlepaw carefully brushed his fur down with a paw as he delicately meowed, "Since you were nowhere to be found, I decided to wait a while and see if there was anywhere else I could be useful or if I could join my sister if Grasswhisker was taking her out. But I'm afraid I've seen no sign of either." He glanced to the side at Timberfang, smile slightly sharp-edged, but not enough to be considered disrespectful if anyone should see. "Unless there is something you need me to do, Timberfang?" He asked, every inch the dutiful Apprentice, "I will, of course, be glad to attend to it at once."

B u m b l e p a w - - [ camp & sparrowtuft (Sand ) ]
Bumblepaw grinned sheepishly at Sparrowtuft's question, his ears warming in embarrassment. He knew Sunningrocks was a sketchy area to be in, but they'd only raced through it, it wasn't like they'd gone to lay in the sun! Really, it was Honeypaw's fault if you -
Oh. Sparrowtuft was asking him to choose. Okay, he could do that. Battle training would do well for him on the off chance that Sunningrocks became battle territory again, but if he could pinpoint where the prey had settled for the day, maybe he could impress Sparrowtuft.
"I think we should go hunt. The Great Sycamore is usually a good spot this time of year, so why don't we try there? If it's empty, we could use the area near Sandy Hollow."
H o n e y p a w - - [ thunderclan territory & frostheart (Lycaonia ) ]
Honeypaw had gotten up not long after Bumblepaw had, and was sitting just outside the camp entrance to look for Frostheart. She was hoping to get as much training in as she could today - it wouldn't be long before she reached the age to become a warrior, and she wanted to be the best warrior possible. Shaking out her pelt, Honeypaw stood and began to pace. Round and round she went. Her small paws were silent as they hit the forest floor, barely stirring the dust there. Where had Frostheart even gone? Why hadn't she woken Honeypaw when she left?
F l i c k e r d a w n - - [ medicine den & lilypaw (Lycaonia ) ]
"Lilypaw?" Flickerdawn called, stepping out of a nook in the medicine den to search for the young apprentice. "There you are. How did you sleep last night? I know it's strange adjusting to sleeping in the medicine den, believe me. For a while after I moved in, I would sleepwalk back to the nursery." She chuckled at her own comment before settling own on her haunches,
"I was going to ask if you'd like to go collect herbs. We could ask a warrior to come with us - maybe Stagleap? Then he could bring Mossypaw, and we could collect double the amount if it was just the two of us."
S t o r m b r e a k - - [ camp & duskflower (cowbird ) ]
Stormbreak was a quiet cat, never one to interact with cats just on a whim. He'd been out walking, though, and was just tired enough that he didn't mind conversation - with a warrior, at least. Apprentices were a bit too energetic for a cat his age. As he entered the camp, he noticed Duskflower sitting alone and decided to ask how she was doing. He trotted over and settled down nearby, but far enough to be polite.
"Good day, Duskflower. Are you doing well?" he meowed, as short and simple as usual. She was like him in that neither of them had an apprentice at the moment, and while Stormbreak knew it was an honor to be asked to train the young cats in their clan, he couldn't help but be a bit relieved. The current group of young apprentices were bound to give Stormbreak a headache.

Elmnose nodded in assent to the leader. "See you soon," he chirped, and slid into the undergrowth, eyes nearly closed, creeping along with the sight of his whiskers and nose. Creeping, creeping, and then- his muddy eyes flicked wide, zoning in on the close proximity of his quarry. It wasn't like Elmnose to slink so close, his ostentatious pelt giving him little choice for stealth. He would have to move quick. A pause, to gauge his strike, then a high pitched cry sounded from nearby, and it was all his mouse needed to be far from reach. Mousedung, he cursed, but only in his head. Padding back to Bramblestar, he soon pieced together how the leader's hunt had gone. "Missed by a hair. I stormed right past it, the lucky mouse," he claimed, with his habitual wry grin. "You've certainly outdone me. I wouldn't mind a lesson or two on the smaller, nimbler prey from you after today," he meowed, glancing toward the vole that was stashed as well. Friends are far more valuable than competition, he purred to himself in his thoughts, thinking for a fleeting second upon his brother. And Bramblestar is a advantageous friend.

Muddypaw took a deep breath, and gazed at their surroundings a little more. A lovely day to be out of camp, and by this stage in his training, he discovered sometimes things were just easier if you did what you were expected to do in the clan. Training wouldn't be the end of him by any means, at least not that day. "I'd love to," he responded in a honey smooth tone. More and more, he preferred to be far out in the forest with Hollyfang, who wouldn't try to change him, than in camp, where he could likely be grouped into an array of apprentice tasks under the watchful eyes of warriors who did not take as kindly to him as his mentor. To prove his agreement, he rose to all four paws, and swished his tail in a relaxed, focused manner.

Stoatbreeze / Juniperflight Lycaonia : Near Fresh-kill Pile Gliding tranquilly through camp, Stoatbreeze headed to pick out a meal before he might be needed for a quick dusk patrol or nighttime hunt. He snatched whatever lay toward the edge, knowing most of the prey would be more fresh anyway, having been caught already that day, to his delight. With a shrew in his jaws, he spotted Juniperflight not too far from him, and settled down near the tom. "Have you been out of camp yet today?" he enquired in a friendly, easy-going tone. "I need to make sure I stretch my legs at some point. Having an apprentice sure would be nice to always give you an excuse to get out and about," he chatted, munching away at his surprisingly juicy prey.

Sharpstone / Leafpelt @stitchlover20 : Camp Sharpstone returned with great energy through the camp's entrance, a robust bird in her teeth. She slowed herself gradually, and not without great effort, plopping her catch down on the fresh-kill pile. Sharpstone was breathing heavily, but holding in her pants to convince herself that she was not tired, no she could run a hundred times through the territory, and still have strength to fight off a slippery RiverClan foe or two. She was glad to hear that Elmnose and Bramblestar were hunting near Sunningrocks just as she left. It was less temptation for her to hunt there herself, something she couldn't resist, and StarClan forbid a wily enemy patrol pass by, Sharpstone would have a hard time keeping her tail from swishing over their measly guarded border then. The old she-cat felt her breath had subsided, and dragged herself over to a nearby clanmate. Company always seemed to will her into not feeling her aching, overworked joints. "Leafpelt!" Sharpstone greeted with her aged, shrill voice. Her gait confident and strong, she settled down beside the she-cat. "What's a strong warrior like you planning to do on a promising day like this?"

Sootpaw of ThunderClan / Outside Apprentice Den + Out of Camp / With Fawnchaser สแดษชษดสแดแดา ๐ Relief almost made the tom's shoulders sag as he followed right behind Fawnchaser through the tunnel leading out into the dense forest. Thankfully his mentor didn't expect him to give a reason for him avoiding battle training, knowing very well he would struggle coming up with one on the spot. The weight on his chest had lifted as they strolled towards the Sandy Hollow. Sootpaw opened his mouth partially to take in the scents around him, almost being overwhelmed by the variety of smells the forest held. He could detect the pine scent of the trees, the earthy smell of the ground beneath their paws, and a mixture of prey that he had hard time distinguishing. How can I pick out the scents of everything here? It seems too confusing to even figure out what's a mouse and a shrew at this moment. Already slight frustration welled up in his chest, but he didn't say anything has he continued on. Fawnchaser seem to be trying to have a decent conversation with him and he felt bad for not trying just as hard.

Leafpelt of ThunderClan / Camp / With Sharpstone Stealthfire Leafpelt felt herself jump by the high pitch voice of Sharpstone. She had to force herself to relax and sheathed her claws which had instantly bury themselves into the dirt in response to the noise. A laugh escaped her jaws at how silly she acted, shaking her head before giving the older she-cat a smile. "Good afternoon, Sharpstone." She greeted her kindly with a deep of the head. "It does seem promising, doesn't it?" Unfortunately the question posed to her didn't have an answer or at least not yet at the moment. Without an apprentice to train, Leafpelt hadn't done much except a patrol in the early morning and hunted by herself to get some more food on the fresh kill pile. It dawned on her how boring she must be to the more experienced warrior and it made her ears slightly burn with embarrassment.

Buzzardflight - accompanied by Smokedance - - camp - [สแดษชษดสแดแดา ๐ ] Buzzardflight knew that Smokedance couldn't resist his offer and the tom was more than excited that she accepted. Of course it was clear that she didn't understand how hard it was for him to ask, but that didn't matter anymore. He was going to share a meal with Smokedance, for the first time! Warmth made his pelt prickle with nervousness yet he was also feeling butterflies in his stomach. "Great!" he blurted out, a bit too quickly. He beckoned the black she-cat to follow him to a a spot not far from the camp's entrance with his striped tail. The brown tabby began padding in the direction of the spot while he listened to Smokedance as she suggested a hunting patrol between the two of them. He wanted to respond so badly, but with the furry squirrel in his maw, every word he'd say would sound muffled. Once they had reached their spot, he dropped the prey between their paws.
Buzzardflight knew he didn't have any commitments today and even if he did, he wouldn't tell the warrior no. Being with Smokedance was more important to him than going on some regular patrol with their other denmates which meant he was willing to risk it. Or really, anything at all. "No, no I don't! I don't have anything else to do," he mewed in a flash. If Smokedance could understand of of what he just said, he would be impressed. He did his best to hold back a mrrow of amusement when she slipped up while speaking. "Owl Tree sounds like a good place to hunt, I've heard there's been more prey there recently."
The young warrior rolled his eyes at the mention of Timberfang. "Oh, please," he continued, scoffing and rolled his yellow eyes. "I'm not afraid of Bramblestar or Timberfang! Timberfang can sneer at me all she wants, at least we plan on heading out and don't sit around like some cats."
image credited to Pexels - CC0 license - - - Pigeonpaw - accompanied by Bluepaw - - camp - [@stitchlover20 ] Bluepaw's reaction was not what Pigeonpaw expected at all. She stared back at the younger apprentice with a blank look as if Bluepaw asked the foolish question she had ever heard. "A trick question? No, silly! Why would I ask a trick question?" she inquired, tipping her head to one side. The older apprentice didn't sense any of Bluepaw's uneasiness. She wasn't really that in tune with others' emotions, let alone realizing the difference between bad and good most of the time. Then again, Bluepaw had barely been outside of ThunderClan's camp with her mentor, another warrior, or an apprentice. This gave the blue-grey she-cat an idea, one that a new apprentice would veer away from. "I haven't seen my mentor either!" she exclaimed. "Since Barkheart and Crowdusk aren't around, why don't you come with me? We can head out of camp and find something to do."
Pigeonpaw did her best to sound persuasive and convincing, hoping that Bluepaw would agree to her idea. If she didn't, then she would have to find another way to get the Russian Blue she-cat to follow. image credited to Unsplash - (CC0 license) - - - Sparrowtuft - accompanied by Bumblepaw - - camp -> camp entrance - [สแดแดสสแดสแดแด ยป ] Sparrowtuft took several moments to ponder on Bumblepaw's choice, leaving silence between the two toms. He's not wrong. If we don't come across any prey, we can always switch tasks easily, he thought before breaking the silence. "I think your plan's fantastic, Bumblepaw," he meowed, giving the apprentice a warm look. "We might as well head out now in case anyone else is headed in that direction." The brown and white tabby stretched out his lanky limbs again and flicked his thin, white tipped tail. "The faster we get to the Great Sycamore, the better. Less cat will be able to catch as much prey with the two of us combined," he mewed confidently, voice dripping with certainty.
It wasn't long until the warrior was nearing the thorn tunnel with Bumblepaw. He had an idea to let the golden apprentice lead their small patrol. It would be good practice for him and for once, Sparrowtuft wouldn't feel like he was putting too much energy into the discussion. He preferred to focus that energy on the hunt, not a short conversation on where to go and what to do. Over time he had learned that there was a better way to do things, and that meant giving the senior apprentice his undivided attention. He could do that easily. After all, he was on his third apprentice and things were beginning to feel like a breeze. Easy and effortless, at an average speed. source unknown - CC0 license

[[ Come to think of it, if Addertail was younger and more patient he probably would've been able to adapt to basically having three legs and done fine still as a warrior lol
Also a quick question, what are Silverbird and Storkfeather's Clan and ranks? ]] The tom looked back at the apprentice. He was surprised that Leopardpaw didn't press any further or even apologize for something that wasn't his fault like everyone else would normally. Even more so that he was still inquiring if he had any more requests. But Addertail didn't let his surprise show. Instead, the elder shook his head. "Not for me, thank you." He replied. "But a request for him," he flicked his tail indicating the sleeping Whitefoot nearby. "Make sure he has something later because I'm planning on taking that thrush you brought for myself." There was a hint of amusement in the tom's pale blue eyes. "Missed out being asleep, that furball." He then nodded his head to the apprentice. "That is all. You may leave." At least Addertail had food to preoccupy himself at the moment. He'd worry about what to do later. - - Hollyfang & Muddypaw // Outside Camp to Thunderclan Territory - - [ Stealthfire ] Hollyfang nodded her head in approval to the apprentice's answer. Once the tom rose to his paws, she flicked her tail to beckon him to follow and she padded off. She went at a leisurely pace as she felt not rush at all to get things done. Things would happen when they did today. It was another hunting session as normal for the two of them. Only this time Hollyfang would let her apprentice take lead. "By now you know where some acceptable hunting spots are," she said as they walked along. "So this time I would like you to lead us somewhere to hunt. Where will we go today Muddypaw?" Her yellow gaze looked to the tom questioningly and curiously. She had no doubts in her mind of the possible places he could choose.

Sharpstone / Leafpelt @stitchlover20 : Camp Sharpstone gave a curt nod, satisfied with the warrior's agreement. She began to groom her tousled, prickly long fur after its forest outing, spitting out burrs and thorns as she went along. "What do you make of the Gathering coming up? How much trouble do you think those RiverClan fish will give Bramblestar at his first appearance as leader?" she queried, pausing momentarily from her fierce grooming. She was curious as to what the younger warriors thought of their new young leader, but more curious as to how they believed their rivals would treat him. Sharpstone was proud to serve Bramblestar, as she had been with all the leaders in her lifetime, but wanted to be prepared to calm her easily flexed claws in case RiverClan proved tricky. Gossip wasn't her passtime, but speculating over enemies certainly was. Muddypaw felt a little pleased that he was to choose that day's hunt. Ambition was the last thing in his psyche, but he couldn't help but feel the slightest bit of pride at his progress. "Somewhere dense with trees," he pondered, mulling over his choices. "Let's go out toward the woods by the thunderpath," he decided. He was sure that Sunningrocks and the RiverClan side of their territory was a popular place to hunt and patrol on any day, and Muddypaw far preferred to avoid it, opting for opposite ShadowClan side of their forest.
Sensing that Hollyfang had not just asked him to choose their destination, but also to take a more direct role in their hunt, he took the initiative to set off before waiting for the dark warrior to move. At a leisurely pace, Muddypaw blinked in the beauty of the day in the forest that past by.

Directly in front of the apprentices den, Silverpaw was nearly finished with incessantly grooming her shiny pelt. She had meant to bring prey over to Addertail, but needed to make sure she was looking her very best before she began her tasks that day, in case she was called to training directly after her duties. Meanwhile, it seemed Leopardpaw had beaten her to it, so more time for grooming. Chatting with her brother was her next intention, but by the time she reached her tail he was off with Timberfang. Silverpaw caught a burr to the nose and sneezed, startled. She flashed around the camp with wide eyes, praying the scene had gone unnoticed. With her fur as sleek as could be, she got to her paws, officially ready to finally jump to any task she saw fit.

Bluepaw of ThunderClan / Camp / Accompanied by Pigeonpaw SandThe offer to go outside of camp with another apprentice was tempting. No one has taken her out since she became an apprentice a day ago and she assumed her mentor is busy with other duties. This would be her chance to get out and explore the territory. Maybe she'll even impress Crowdusk with all her newly gained knowledge! Bluepaw's eyes sparkled now with excitement as she gazed at Pigeonpaw, nodding eagerly. "Are you sure they won't get angry we went out without them?" She asked as she got to her paws. "I don't want Crowdusk to keep me confined in camp if someone finds out." New worry bubbled up inside her belly at the thought of being stuck in camp while all the other apprentices got to train and enjoy their apprenticeship. There was even a chance Bramblestar finding out, keeping Pigeonpaw and Bluepaw from becoming warriors due to their actions. I can't live my life in fear though! I'm sure other cats has done this before and won't be too harsh on us, Bluepaw thought roughly. Her paws tingled with anticipation as she waited for the blue and grey she-cat to lead the way, hoping she knew where they were going and not taking them to immediate danger.

Leafpelt of ThunderClan / Camp / Accompanied by Sharpstone Stealthfire
Everything involving the gathering and the events which caused so much tension between clans seem to never go away. Many cats whisper about the possible outcomes of the meeting, if their newly named leader actually killed someone, and what will RiverClan plan in the future. Leafpelt had hoped she wouldn't have to discuss the situation, but running away from reality wasn't an option. Her yellow eyes studied Sharpstone and felt sudden gratitude towards her. This senior warrior went through moons of hardship in ThunderClan and must have seen so much during her time. It made her feel honored for the white cat to be asking her such a heavy question. "I believe the gathering will be an important one between ThunderClan and RiverClan," she began talking her thoughts slowly as if whatever her said would change something. "I'm sure RiverClan will be hostile towards us throughout the night and Hawkstar will confront Bramblestar I'm sure. We need to show them ThunderClan stands behind their leader no matter what."

- - Hollyfang & Muddypaw // Thunderclan Territory i.e. Woods Near Thunderpath - - [ Stealthfire ] Her head cocked to the side thoughtfully as she listened to Muddypaw plan their destination. So the woods near Thunderpath, not a bad choice. It would be more quiet as well compared to somewhere by the Riverclan side of their territory. Hollyfang was not one to jump to conclusions, but an amusing thought crossed the back of her mind that she should've guessed he'd pick somewhere like that. The black she-cat nodded her head in approval to her apprentice's suggestion and watch as he took lead. She briskly padded up alongside him, glad he was taking initiative without her having to say so. As they were going at a leisurely pace, it gave them the time to enjoy the passing scenery.
It wasn't too long until the two of them reached their general destination. Once she knew they were in vicinity, Hollyfang's senses were keen and alert. She opened her maw to detect if their happened to be any prey around where they were at the moment. Within moments she caught scent of a vole. The senior warrior then slowed down her pace and veered off a bit to the right, lowering herself into a more stealthy position, as she followed the scent trail. There was no need to signal anything to Muddypaw nor any need to keep an eye on him. He was capable to hunt himself and the two of them would be able to find each other if needed. With that she continued her pursuit.
She caught the fresh scent of the vole early on, perhaps unaware yet of the two of them nearby out to hunt. Hollyfang paused where she was and perked up her ears to listen for any noise, her yellow gaze sweeping the area for any movement. Everything was silent and still for a brief period of time. It wasn't until that time after could the faint sound of rustling be heard. The she-cat's eyes quickly darted to the direction of the noise and found that the vole was now in view. She slowly crawled forward in the hunter's crouch to the unsuspecting vole. She was upwind to the creature, so it caught whiff of her scent shortly after; however, the she-cat was within enough range where a pounce was enough to put it in her grasp. With a quick nip to its spine, the vole went limp. She gave a quick silent thanks for the simple kill and buried the vole to get back to later.

Frostheart || Thunderclan Territory - Near Camp || With: Honeypaw (สแดแดสสแดสแดแด ยป )
Frostheart's ears sat back against her skull as she resisted the urge to drag her paws like a disgruntled kit as she approached Camp. She was a fully grown Warrior, a Senior Warrior in fact, with Fourteen Seasons of experience. She would not pout like some spoiled kittypet over a bad day. With an irritated sigh, Frostheart shook out her fur, determined to cheer up a little. 'And speaking of cheering up,' She thought wryly as a familiar scent drifted on the wind. "Honeypaw," Frostheart greeted the pacing Apprentice, eyeing her with slight curiosity. She wondered if the young cat was waiting for her, before shaking her head a little. Of course she was, Frostheart had just taken off this morning without informing Honeypaw of what she had to do today. Ear flicking slightly, Frostheart calmly continued, "My apologies, Honeypaw. I had meant to leave instructions for you with one of the other Warriors before I left, but it must have slipped my mind. Is there anything you would like to work on to make up for my misstep?"
Juniperflight || Thunderclan Camp || With: Stoatbreeze (Stealthfire )
Juniperflight jumped a little, having been startled out of his daydream by someone speaking to him. His head whipped around to the source of the voice, eyes wide as his tail curled firmly into himself. A few thudding heartbeats and then he relaxed. "Oh, Stoatbreeze," He sighed, ears dropping in relief, "You startled me. I didn't hear you approach." Juniperflight usually worried about admitting such things - After all, Warriors were supposed to be alert - But Stoatbreeze had always been kind and never seemed to judge Juniperflight for his jumpy nature.
"I have indeed been out," He meowed happily, perking up as the words filtered through, "I went hunting earlier, but I was thinking about going out again." Glancing around himself for a moment and seeing no-one else was paying attention, he ducked his head shyly. "I was just thinking the same thing," He admitted, glancing up at the slightly older tom, "I'd love an Apprentice. I'm hoping that I can impress Bramblestar and Timberfang with my hunting skills enough to get one the next time the Clan has kits." Juniperflight almost buzzed with energy, excited at the very thought. Eventually he managed to calm himself again to ask, "How have you been Stoatbreeze? done anything interesting today yet?"
Lilypaw || Thunderclan Camp - Medicine Den || With: Flickerdawn (สแดแดสสแดสแดแด ยป )/Mentions: Mossypaw (Fallen Stars )
Lilypaw jumped a little, but quickly perked up at her Mentor's voice. "Flickerdawn!" She meowed happily, tail waving a greeting at the Medicine Cat. "I slept well enough," She shrugged a little, fidgeting slightly as she glanced back down at her nest shyly, before softly admitting, "It is a little strange though, not sleeping beside Mossypaw and Mama. But I'm sure I'll get used to it soon." The prospect of getting out of Camp though, that was exciting. Especially if she could spend a little time with her sister while doing it. "I'd love to go collect herbs," She replied brightly, green eyes shining with excitement, "And it would be wonderful to have Mossypaw along too!" A slight chirrup of happiness echoed in her throat as she fought the urge to bounce. She was trying to be a little more controlled now that she was an Apprentice, but she couldn't stop the happy noises in her chest.

Sharpstone / Leafpelt @stitchlover20 : Camp Sharpstone listened interestedly to Leafpelt's thoughts on the matter. She wasn't wrong in her predictions, these were likely outcomes of the Gathering, knowing RiverClan, and knowing Hawkstar. "I wouldn't doubt all of that for a moment. RiverClan will take any chance to put us down while we're growing anew. But you're absolutely right that we should show how well we can stand behind Bramblestar. This could all be to our advantage. If we show how defensive we are of him, more than ever before, it will prove that nothing can shake our clan's loyalty." Chatting with Leafpelt brought Sharpstone to this realisation. It was paramount for the youngest to the oldest of them to be so outspokenly loyal at this next Gathering that no one could dare believe they were at all uncertain about their leadership. Muddypaw / Hollyfang Fallen Stars : ThunderClan Territory -> near thunderpath Muddypaw's pace remained steady, until he became gradually aware that Hollyfang was no longer beside him. This was a tempting opportunity to linger around the area, and find a nice mossy pad to lounge upon, feigning failure at some mouse or other when they rejoined. The brown tom resisted this urge, not without great effort. He needed to consistently prove that he could be dependable, or risk staying an apprentice forever. When he was a warrior, he could go about his duties as he wished, so long as he followed through in his responsibilities at the end of the day.
Gathering scant traces of focus, Muddypaw scented his surroundings. Sweet, lovely flowers, and drifting tree pollen... He wrinkled his nose and shook his head. More focus was needed. Muddypaw cracked his jaws apart in the slightest, reaching for any trails nearby. At least his choice of territory was working in his favour, and this was a less popular spot for cats to frequent- less border concerns. Before long, a starling drifted into his nose. Not a bird, not today. Next, further away, a mouse. Muddypaw set to work, slinking along until the trail freshened to the point of a stealthy crawl. He fixated his ears, and nearly forgot to lower himself completely to muffle his pawsteps. Tiny rustling sounded from the leaves beyond. Though he could see no mouse, he trusted the lump he saw under a particularly wide oak leaf. Just as the mouse darted out for an acorn, Muddypaw leapt efficiently, scrambling a little before biting its neck. I need to do it cleaner next time, that's no way to treat prey, he scolded himself after thanking StarClan. He stashed it under the leaves where it hid, and set off back toward Hollyfang's direction, scenting for more prey along the way.
Stoatbreeze / Juniperflight Lycaonia : Near Fresh-kill Pile "Oh no!" he meowed with compassionate eyes, "I'm sorry to startle you. I'll call from much farther away next time instead of sneaking right up and imposing myself," he said earnestly, a kind look upon his face. "Out already and wanting to go back again? The prey sure must be running well for you! " He took more bites of his meal, finishing it off as he listened to Juniperflight's hopes. "That's a good plan. I think you'd do well as a mentor, you have a kind heart. I would love to have one too from the next litter or so if Bramblestar sees fit, I do so love spending time with the apprentices." It had struck Stoatbreeze as unusual for hi strict, dutiful sister to be assigned Bluepaw this moon while Stoatbreeze still had none. Not that he was jealous, as he believed Crowdusk would be an excellent mentor, but he certainly had wanted to train a young cat far more than she ever did. "Well," he shrugged, Bramblestar knows how to pair the apprentices with mentors that will suit them best. Whenever you're assigned one, I'm sure it'll be for the right reasons."

Pigeonpaw - accompanied by Bluepaw - - camp -> leaving camp - [@stitchlover20 ] Pigeonpaw wanted to shriek in success but she knew she couldn't do that just yet. She had to keep Bluepaw under the guise that it was okay to head out of camp with her and they wouldn't get in trouble. No trouble at all! Nope, not a single warrior would be coming their way to ridicule them for leaving camp! Or so Pigeonpaw hoped desperately. The sight of Bluepaw's eager nod made her bluish green eyes glistened with mischief. "Not at all! Barkheart won't mind, I'm sure of it," the blue grey she-cat responded, probably a bit too cheerful. "I doubt Crowdusk will either, plus no one will know we left on our own. Don't worry about it!" She glanced at her fellow denmate and did her best to give a reassuring look. As long as the two could make it out of camp and get back without being spotted, Pigeonpaw believed they had a good chance. She just needed Bluepaw to be on board with her plan. The senior apprentice hopped to her paws straightaway before flicking her thick tail towards the camp entrance discreetly. "I know a way to get out of camp without anyone spotting us," she mewed quietly, her gaze sweeping the clearing. Every cat looked busy with their own duties anyways. Easy enough! she thought. Pigeonpaw began bounding across the clearing while padding alongside Bluepaw even though she got ahead of her every now and then. They could do this! Getting out of camp was easy as catching a mouse which meant in no time the two apprentices would be out and about, enjoying their own adventures. image credited to Unsplash - (CC0 license)

Branchfall - with Crowdusk - ThunderClan Camp
Stealthfire
Branchfall rolled around in the warmth of his moss bedding that was located in ThunderClan's warriors' den. All day long he had been napping instead of doing anything else productive. Usually he would be up right now, joining a patrol, but today felt amazing. But he knew if he was caught being lazy then he would be punished. With a sigh, Branchfall clumsily rose from his bedding and slowly padded out into the clearing.
The sound of soft bird songs filled the young tom's ears. He felt sorry for the other clans, they would never have the soothing sound of the forest that ThunderClan had. Branchfall shook out any extra moss that clung to his pelt and gazed around the clearing in hopes of finding someone that he may be able to talk with. Branchfall was known for his flirtatious personality and charming blue-green eyes, so that gave him an advantage with getting his way and speaking with others.
After several moments of looking around the clearing of the camp, he noticed Crowdusk and instantly started padding over to the she-cat. Once he had gotten close to her he nuzzled her cheek. "Hey, Crowdusk! How are you today?" Branchfall purred happily.

- - Hollyfang & Muddypaw // Thunderclan Territory i.e. Near Thunderpath - - [ Stealthfire ] After burying her catch, the black she-cat lifted her head and looked around. Hollyfang wondered how her apprentice was faring. There was the possibility he might've caught something or maybe not just quite yet. No matter if he did or not. They have only just began. Curious, she padded off in search of Muddypaw. Paying half a mind to any prey around her as she went along she could detect a starling in the distance. However, she decided to leave that be as she eventually caught the tom's scent. He wasn't far off so Hollyfang went towards that direction in hopes of stumbling across the apprentice. The small speckled tabby was flat on her stomach as she groaned in absolute boredom. Mossypaw was more along the outskirts of camp as she lay there trying to figure out what to do. Its felt like ages since she had done anything at all. At this rate she felt she was going to die of boredom. I wouldn't be this bored if I was playing with Lilypaw! She thought, pouting. Thinking about his sister, and idea struck her mind. Oh I know! I can just go visit her! She realized. The apprentice immediately sprang to her paws and bounded over to the medicine cat's den. At least she remembered where it was this time now that her sister was sleeping there. Once she arrived, the she-cat poked her head inside this den. "Hi Lilyki- Hi Lilypaw!" She chirped in greeting, stopping herself quickly from calling her sister by her kit name. They weren't kits anymore, they were finally apprentices! So she had to make sure to call her by just that.

(I'm going to have a big post of replies then I'll make a little announcement thing!)
(I'm sorry, Falle, if you felt like I was judging you and Addertail! I have something planned for Leopardpaw and that's how he would think, so I don't want him very wrongfully thinking that Addertail is now useless as warrior or anything. I didn't realize my post had the potential to come off wrong.)
