         { ✤ } general - -
     ● Please read the information on all pages provided before joining, as the information will have key components in your application and experience with this role-play. ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 and the staff assisting her have the right to alter, remove, or add a rule if the circumstances deem so. If you have any questions, please message ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 about them.
     ● This role-play will follow a few systems to better help make the role-play experience fun while maintaining some order. They will be posted on this page. On the page, some rules are added specific to the different sections.

         { ✤ } consequences - -
     ● Every action has a consequence, be aware of what you may say, how it is said, and how it may be perceived. Many members sometimes let things unrelated to the topic at hand or how things turn out get to them and end up upsetting them. Sometimes it is best to walk away before boiling over. In all honesty, the staff want to be as kind and fun to interact with as possible and having to hand out punishments when the situation gets a bit too tense is not fun. So be mindful!
     ● The first sign that the situation is turning sour is an official warning by a staff member. Three warnings will equal a demerit. A demerit is marked by the star symbol. When a member receives a demerit, the member will receive a punishment. The punishments will vary on the severity of the offense and the quantity of potential past offenses. Three demerits will result in a member's removal from the role-play. Depending on the severity will also depend on if you may be allowed back. For those that are permitted back, you must wait two weeks to rejoin. The prefixes of your characters will be reserved if you show interest in rejoining and tidying up poor behavior.

         { ✤ } requirements - -
     ● Special positions include staff positions, key plot character positions, and high ranking character positions. If you hold one of these positions, we ask that you be active. Interactions outside the role-play will not be counted in favor of your activity. Staff are willing to discuss special circumstances if you cannot get on as often, just please message us privately.
     ● If you must take a hiatus from the role-play, you must contact a staff member. Hiatuses are valid for a two week time frame unless a time frame has been given to the staff. Once the hiatus has expired, you must contact a staff to discuss an extension or how you will be reintroduced into the role-play.
     ● You will need to head your post with the character name, Clan, and location. Time is optional. If you use special post templates all fonts must be easy to read and all colors must be legible. It is strongly preferred that the template is also easy to read on mobile, as you will most likely be asked to change if it is not readable with mobile.
     ● We ask that you role-play at a minimum of three to five sentences. One liners are not accepted. Of course, make sure you have proper grammar and spelling, though some mistakes are perfectly okay!

         { ✤ } characters - -
     ● Please do not only have "unique" roles, as we need warriors just as much as kits, queens, apprentices, and elders. If you want to relate your character to someone else's just ask. There are sections on the forms that give further detail for each character in this regard. While there is some wiggle room, we will be using a genetics generator to ensure the basics of genetics. If you need help, you can always ask a staff member for advice. We aren't asking for perfect cats, but to prevent some pet peeve designs like the books occasionally have.
     ● We are LBGTQ+ friendly, any discrimination towards members regarding this will not be tolerated and will result in the forum staff being involved.
     ● Some characters have special requirements that need to be read, please look at this post before applying! If your character gets a special rank, be sure to do those tasks that come with that rank. Deputies need to figure patrols, not sit and gossip all day!
     ● You may join as a member of another Clan, however the majority of your characters must remain in ThunderClan. Cats in the other Clans will only be role-played on occasion. You may claim cats in high positions of the other Clans, but please only role-play them at the appropriate times.
     ● All names must make sense with the setting of the Clans. (The name "Sharkbite" would not make sense for a ThunderClan cat.) Each leader may follow their own rules with naming, so if the cat was named under their reign and it does not match what they may name them, you may be asked to change it. If you think your name will be denied, simply save it for a different role-play. Names from the books are allowed. The current leader will pick names as long as they abide by this rule. Suggestions are welcome, but we cannot guarantee that will be your character's warrior name.
     ● Please keep in mind that this role-play is focused primarily on ThunderClan. However, many plots will include the others Clans. Only role-play your non-ThunderClan characters when they are needed.

     Changing Tides (Minor Plot; Everyone)
     Hawkstar refuses to let ThunderClan live in peace. Her grudge has lasted through the seasons and with the losses in battle over Sunningrocks, she feels especially scorned. Her alliance with WindClan is known and it feels as if a storm if brewing. ThunderClan is simply waiting for RiverClan to make their move but perhaps their idle actions are welcoming more trouble than it should.

     This section is dedicated to any events or contests we will be holding. Some will relate to Warriors and the role-play, but some will simply have an activity we can do together. However, these are not mandatory. The staff will not expect everyone to join in activities and some activities may be held off the forums. (Ex. A game like CAH.) Members hold the full right to reject invitations to join and anyone pressuring and disrespecting that member's space will receive an automatic star.

     The Clan Systems we will be using are from this page. To prevent the page from being too long, they will be linked, as the rest of the information in this post will be in spoiler tags. We will follow these systems to help any kinks with the role-play. If you have any questions, please ask a staff member of ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 .

     We will be using the Discord bot, Tatsumaki or Tatsu, to help decide the factors on charts below. While very on-the-spot unexpected results can be fun, some could argue that this second option helps keep things more fair by the depth that it's in. You see the actual chances and acknowledge the probability and numbers going in to reach a result. The staff members are expected to put these chances in correctly, meaning they must copy the exact information given in this section and place it in the designated channel.

         { ✤ } difficulty roles { ✤ }

     Difficulty rolls will factor in a positive or negative trait that could impact the outcome of a chance chart roll. It is based down to season, weather, terrain, patrol size, and underdog. Some difficulty rolls do not apply to certain chance charts. (Ex. Patrol size will not factor in to kitting.) Each difficulty roll will name which chance charts they would apply to in addition to the information that must be rolled. The difficulty rolls will be rolled prior to the chance chart and effectively narrow down the actual chances.

         { ✤ } season & weather - -

     Season and weather will impact the survival rates of kitting, battle outcomes, and illnesses. Obviously, there are four seasons. New Leaf and Green Leaf will factor in a positive roll. Leaffall and Leafbare will factor in a negative roll. The current season in the role-play will determine this, but depending on the season itself depends on if the negative or positive roll will have an additional number.

         { ✤ } terrain - -

     Terrain will exclusively impact battle outcomes. Terrain has five "levels" which increase in difficulty. Camps are automatically given a difficulty of six, ranking it a high danger to invade. The landmarks will be listed in their assigned ranking, but will be color coded to match the Clan's color. RiverClan will be in b1d6ff. ShadowClan will be in ffc5c5. SkyClan will be in ff9f6e. ThunderClan will be in BDD6BD. And lastly, WindClan will be in c5c0d0. Disputed landmarks are in f9f9b0. Please take note that some landmarks are not canon to the books. They were added to provide more detail to the neighboring Clans.

         As the difficulty increases from one to five, the danger increases. Depending on the number depends on the negative additional factors that will be rolled. The invading Clan will have the full penalty of the terrain difficulty roll while the defending Clan will only go to level four for difficulty. For camps, the defending Clan will roll a defense roll that goes up to two. This could roll in two extra positive factors.

         { ✤ } patrol size & underdog - -

     To prevent one Clan from bringing an unnecessarily massive force to a battle, we will limit the number of warriors for certain patrols as well as reinforcements. If one patrol is smaller than the other, then the bigger patrol gets one positive factor in their favor. To be made simple, the bot will decide between the numbers for the Clan that is rolling.

     Every five battles, regardless of which Clans, will trigger the underdog factor roll. In this roll, something keeps the underdog afloat via a positive roll on each factor. This does not guarantee a win but can even the odds or turn the tides.

         { ✤ } illnesses - -

     Below are the chances for a character to get sick from an outbreak or a seasonal outbreak. For an abnormal outbreak, all cats will be considered. Tatsu will be asked yes or no for each cat. For a seasonal outbreak, only half of the Clan will go through this process. From that point, a number correlating with the severity will be rolled. There are six stages. Kit and elders will have double roll as they have double the chance to catch it. Once the decision is made, it will be role-played out.

         { ✤ } battles - -

     Battles can be bloody and take many lives, however they can also be quick, simple, and result to little or no injuries. While any cat can die at any time during a battle, we have decided to make it less likely for death for small battles. Therefore, battles over borders or small strips of territory like Sunningrocks will only go to stage four unless there is a consistent conflict between the two Clans like war. To prevent a Clan losing more warriors than necessary, the death toll for a Clan will be five in big battles in three in small battles.

         { ✤ } litter sizes - -

     In the case of a real matter, she-cats normally can birth up to nine kittens. However, we will keep to the average, so the maximum amount of kits a queen can have is six. Genders and descriptions will be up to owners of the parents, but the size will be determined here. If you plan on having a mutation, disability or defect, it is mandatory that you think before going through and role-play the matter respectfully and with accurate information. The admin will simply ask Tatsu "t!choose larger litter | smaller litter" and the bot will decide. A larger litter can go up the maximum of six kits, a smaller litter will only go to three kits. The owners of the parents reserve the right to have one kit if they wish, but if they want more than one, they will need to go through this process. The maximum litters a she-cat can have is three.
