{ Descendants Of Limbo } a hp one on one with mohr and clover HOGWARTS, A HISTORY: The Death Eaters have fallen. Voldemort and his close allies are nothing more than names in the new wave of history books. With the majority of those surviving the Battle of Hogwarts, they were moved into Azkaban. It was a breeding ground for putrid, hollow thoughts of one day bringing their numbers back up. Their soured failure fell to the ears of their living children, who listened out of a sense of pride and fear. With children of their own now, it's only fair that the same rheotic that's been passed down through generations of purebloods end up with them, feeding into their daily lives. It's been some time since the phrase 'Pureblood' meant anything more than a blood status, since the words 'Death Eater' made anyone flinch. The Wizarding World has all moved on... or have they?
CURRENTLY: Draco Malfoy's twin sons are in their seventh year of Hogwarts. Rhea McNair - better known as Rhea Greyback - have made close friends with the Malfoy twins, and the trio have continued to collect and make friends with other Death Eater grandchildren who are all looking to break their limbo. With graduation fast approaching, the real world is very much within their grasp, and they're ready to take it on.
THE SETTING: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Scotland, March/April. Everyone is hunkering down for their NEWT's.{ Characters Involved } RHEA GREYBACK || Played by Mohr【☁】 || Seventh year Slytherin. Legal name is Rhea McNair, but has carried the Greyback name since first year. She plans to legally change it after graduation. Rhea's been a firm believer in the pureblood rhetoric and has wanted to essentially revive Death Eaters and their cause since first learning of it. She's tall, slim, with bright grey eyes and shoulder length dark brown hair, and warm caramel skin. Her wand is 10 inches long, made of cherrywood with kelpie main core.
BEAU O'MALLEY || Played by Mohr【☁】 || Seventh year Gryffindor. First of his family to break the Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw chain in nearly four generations. A halfblood with some veela mixed in. He's got hazel green eyes, fairly freckled face with soft, light brown hair. He's of average height with some weight, plays for the Gryffindor Quidditch team as a Beater and can be found routinely in the kitchens. Wants to either follow his father's footsteps into the Department of Secrets or he'll play reserve for one of the Quidditch teams.
CASTOR MALFOY || played by sweetclover1 || Seventh year Ravenclaw. Twin to Pollux. Slight boy with pale skin, white hair, grey eyes... looks just about as typical as a Malfoy can get. Prim and proper, every part of him seems to be tailored to look perfect. He's the first in his family to not be in Slytherin, an admittedly point of contention when he's home and not at Hogwarts (and, well, it still is a bit of an issue at Hogwarts too, since he's a Malfoy). He's quiet, and while he isn't exactly happy that he isn't trusted at the school, after seven years it seems that he has successfully disappeared into the background. He is an average student on the whole, save for potions where he excels. While he no longer believes that the Death Eaters were in any way good people, he hasn't exactly done much to quell his twin brothers beliefs, because he doesn't find them harmful... yet. After seven years of being in separate houses, they aren't as close as they were before. Honestly, he has no clue what he's planning on doing when he graduates, but for now he supposes he could join the Ministry in some form... if they'll let him in.
POLLUX MALFOY || played by sweetclover1 || Seventh year Slytherin. Twin to Castor. Larger than his brother in muscle and height, white hair, and grey eyes that are often narrowed in some kind of glare. Angry at the fact that he and his brother are often ostracized because of their name and quicker to anger than his brother. He definitely thinks that pure-bloods are inherently better (mud-bloods have to start from square one, after all) and has heard stories from his family members about how they were all wrongly accused, that the Death Eaters hadn't truly done anything wrong. They had good intentions but it got out of control.{ NPC Characters } coming soon.

(im currently only going to post with Rhea atm, I'll toss Beau in soon.)
NEWTs season was upon them, and Rhea Greyback couldn't keep her mind on the task at hand.
The early spring in Scotland proved to be a wet one, often reducing the time spent outside down drastically. Rhea was very much someone who preferred to study, socialize and generally spend time outside. Being locked inside was simply just not in her code. So she was restless, pacing the common room with a handful of paper. The fire crackled warmly in the hearth, but the heat didn't seem to reach the pacing Seventh year. She huffed, and moved to throw herself onto the couch, half tempted to tear the study notes up in her hands. She needed them if she wanted to graduate, her hardest class being Transfiguration. She flinched when the fire popped an ember loudly, before leaning back against the back of the couch with another huff. "I hate studying."

For the past hour, Pollux had witnessed Rhea slowly lose her mind at the fact that she had to stay inside and study, and frankly? He found it to be just. a little bit hilarious. He didn't mind staying inside for long periods of time- it wasn't like this was a rare occurrence back home- and he had comfortably settled against the fire place, back nice and warm from the crackling fire. "If you had put more effort into this earlier this year, it wouldn't be so hard now," Pollux chided, even if he didn't truly know if Rhea had been studying, it wasn't exactly his problem if someone else failed or not. The Malfoy had been absently glancing at his notes every now and then, not particularly concerned for most of the subjects, save a few of the more recent lessons that he'd struggled with. He and Castor had teamed up over the last Holiday to study, and apparently that paid off in some way.
(Plot twist: Pollux bombs his NEWTS )

"Hey! I have great grades." Rhea defended herself, scowling at Pollux. There was no venom in her look, because she couldn't actually fault him for the comment. She was the perfect example of 'last minute craming'. "Transfiguration wasn't the smartest thing to take for NEWTs but it's a skill I think would benefit me in the long run... and I like the idea of mastering a skill that will make me better." She shifted her weight on the couch, dropping her study papers onto the floor in a resigned fashion. Studying wasn't going to happen. She ran a hand through her hair and heaved a sigh, leaning forward with her elbows onto her knees, one hand cradling her jaw. "I just wish this rain would stop. I can't stand being cooped up in the castle much longer."
Rhea looked to Pullux, screwed her face into a scowl and with effort moved to stand, pacing the front of the fireplace once again. "Besides, I have other things I need to worry more about rather than just our NEWTs."

Pollux snorted at Rheas defense, slowly closing his book on Charms, arching an unimpressed brow at the complaint about taking the Transfiguration course. "That one is completely you're fault. You chose to take it." Granted, he was too, but that was more for his fathers sake than anything. Not taking a NEWTS level course in their seventh year was an absolute disgrace- he'd heard enough of that the moment it was discovered that Castor had made an attempt of opting out of Transfiguration.
"I think you're just worrying too much- but what's on your mind?" Might as well entertain this conversation, no studying was feasibly going to happen anyways, and with the look on her face he ad a feeling as to what she was going to say. So he rested his head on his hands, looking up, expecting at least a rant or something to focus on outside of just studying.

"I didn't think the NEWT level would be this hard." Rhea groused, admittedly more to herself than to Pollux. She wasn't a typical student, where she could pour everything out onto parchment and receive better-than-average grades. Rhea learned almost everything better hands-on. Potions was something she excelled in, same with Charms. She assumed she would be equally great in Transfiguration, but this year was more essay-related and theorizing and ink splotches on parchment and it simply drove Rhea up the wall. She continued to pace, the movement helping her relax a little more, noticing that her friend had given studying up as well - for the time being.
She shrugged, dropping her gaze to the floor. "I heard something about a meeting, around Christmastime last year." She paused, dropping her voice to just above a whisper. "One of the originals are coming out of Azkaban, June first." Obviously this wasn't new news, there had been a couple of side panel articles about Wallace Mulciber being released early, too old and far too frail to deal with the Dementors anymore. "My father wants to meet him, 'set him up'. I don't know entirely what that means, but I'm assuming it means connections again." There was an excitement in Rhea's eyes.
"I know the line has been fairly watered down, but... what if we could squeeze an visit in with him? Learn more about what they did, how they did it, how they managed to keep things on the low?" Rhea had stopped pacing now, instead watching Pollux and his reaction carefully. "We could speak to a legitimate Death Eater!"

Pollux only snorted at that- but perhaps he had an upper hand, considering his older brother had taken all of his NEWTS only a couple of years ago, so he was able to actually see what each class was like course-load wise. He didn't mention it, though, instead interested in what kind of rumors that Rhea had found. As much as he tried to look like he was above it, Pollux was way too interested into it, whether it be rumors about dark wizards escaping (or being let out0 of Azkaban to who was dating whom. Rhea was certainly one of the few that actually knew this and considering how focused he was on his classmate would have made it clear.
Someones being freed? The Malfoy brightened at the prospect of that, his back straightening as he listened to what she had to say, grinning widely. "June first isn't so far away." He commented, mind running wild with all of the possibilities of meeting one of the last Death Eaters, back when they were in power and when names actually meant power instead of hatred or distrust. Merlin, what he would do to be able to go to school the same time that his father did, when his own name meant something outside of it being bad.
"Yeah, that's what I would think too. He's going to need connections- and maybe that means your father knows some people who weren't caught." His voice was quiet now, because even within the Slytherin house, talk of Death Eaters was quite taboo. "I wish we could. What if we went with your father? We could figure out where he is. Where he lives. Father won't give me any of that information." The scowl was clear on his face- because Draco Malfoy was one of the few that firmly wanted to keep his distance from his heritage and it was something he had argued with his father many times.
"Father says those things should be left buried- can you believe that? He had the chance to be involved in something big- has the chance, actually, and all he wants to do is keep it buried just so his reputation can look better." Pollux scoffed as he stood, brushing off dirt on his robes, disgust and annoyance visible as he started to pace about.

"June first is practically right around the corner- after our NEWTs, after graduation." Rhea corrected. That was the common thread between the two, which was probably the main reason why she could barely focus on studying (of course, outside of the reason of being trapped inside). In order to be able to do anything after graduation have to excel in her NEWTs and wear her marks proudly. It would be one less thing holding her back. Rhea had forged a name for herself here in Hogwarts, taking on the Greyback name so firmly and without doubt. If only she could share that sentiment with someone in actual connection to the man...
Rhea's eyes lit up when Pollux mentioned her father knowing people who weren't caught. It would explain the reasoning behind his long work trips, and longer absences from her life as a child. "I don't know if he'd let me go with him. He's... not worried, about what might happen... but I think he's nervous of the fact that I happen to know so much and he doesn't want me, a third generation Death Eater to fall into "a trap"." She used air quotes, but matched Pollux's tone. Speaking of Death Eaters now was considered taboo, and while Rhea enjoyed making people uncomfortable, she didn't need or want someone trying to stop her.
The Greyback girl scoffed. "My grandfather is proud of his history." Granted, he wasn't a right hand man, more of a vocal, and legitimate supporter. Her father on the other hand... "My dad understands his history, but he's embarrassed by his 'participation' in it. Whatever that means." Rhea moved to sit back on the couch once more, picking her study notes back up to shuffle them in her hands. "I just want to speak to a true Death Eater without having to risk my life or future reputation by going straight to the source." She meant Azkaban, where visiting had been limited to once a month rather than once a week.

The Malfoy curled his lip just a little at the correction, but waved her off, because he wasn't nearly as concerned about the Newts as Rhea was. Granted, he wasn't fully happy at the thought of graduating so soon, because chances were he wouldn't see Castor as much once they graduated. They rarely saw each other to begin with, considering they were in different houses, but once they both graduated and went their separate ways... his chest tightened at the thought but kept the sentiment to himself. Instead, he focused on Rheas news, the fact that a real Death Eater was being released, and how close they were to talk to someone who wasn't just ashamed of his past. He rubbed the back of his neck, frowning thoughtfully, at the thought of her being caught in a trap.
That, certainly, was something that could happen. Especially with how tight everyone was with security and Death Eaters now, even if it was beyond him why. It wasn't like everyone who was a Death Eater was dangerous. Sure, there was Bellatrix, who seemed to be completely off but most of the former Death Eaters he'd met seemed to be perfectly mild-mannered people, people like him who were always unfairly treated.
"So is mine. He says he was brainwashed and if he had the chance, he wouldn't have been so involved if he went back in time." Pollux scoffed with an eye roll, chewing on his lip thoughtfully, before brightening. "What if... what if we convince our Defense Against the Dark Arts classes to go on a field trip? To, like, see a real 'dark wizard'?" He used air quotes at that, clearly not thinking that anyone was truly bad if they were Death Eaters. "Maybe so... so they can learn how even normal looking people could be like that? " He wasn't sure if it would work, but hey, he was trying.
