"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." I want to learn how to make the banners and layouts. I also want to learn the coding part of it all too. I have an older version of photoshop if that helps...

I sure can give you some pointers on layouts, but I can't do much other than small RP posts and clan layouts. I have GIMP, but I don't use it much and I don't make banners.

[div style="width:50%;background-image:url(ENTER IMAGE LINK HERE);background-attachment:fixed;border:STYLE VALUEpx COLOR;"] If you don't want fixed, and want it to scroll, use this: [div style="width:50%;background-image:url(ENTER IMAGE LINK HERE);background-attachment:scroll;border:STYLE HERE VALUEpx COLOR;"] Which looks like this. {I entered my own things here, including a gif, which is optional} Fixed: Hiiiiiiii
Scroll:
Feel free to try it out. The link also shows some examples of borders. I'll show you more later, I'm losing my train of thought doing this If you have any questions or concerns ask away

For bbc coding, I suggest looking through code put out on the art shops in this subsection, and using this guide to figure out what each piece of code affects what. You could also use that guide to start experimenting and create your own layouts and stuff, trying to figure out how the code actually works. If you figure this out, bbc is at your command. Literally.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." Isn't BBC kinda like HTML5?

I think so? Don't take my word for it, but I think HTML and BBC work with similar principles, jut different command wording.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." (In rp)~BBCode~ Rp text, Rp text, Rp text, Rp text (Font Color: #94fbff) Bbcode is a modified tag language built around CSS and HTML coding languages. BBcode itself is actually closer to CSS than HTML, but the basis' are virtually identical.
Any other questions you got? It's not super hard, layouts, banners, and coding are a lot of trial and error, but here's the basis break down of all of these Xd
Banners - Banners are essentially an artist designed image fit into a certain pixel width and height. The artist uses an image editing software to create the banner then uses a link and img to place it where they want. Ex. Coding - Bbcode is a tag based language that compromises of HTML and CSS in a forum modification system.
ex.
Layouts- layouts are essentially text boxes, banners, and a background image with a fixed or moving scroll (allows someone to scroll up and down without the image changing) organized with alignment, color, and line spacing.
ex.
Vestibulum vel urna at elit pharetra pellentesque a eget odio. Morbi ornare id turpis vitae malesuada. Etiam vel tellus dui. Phasellus pretium purus nisl, in tincidunt eros pellentesque quis. Etiam in urna ultricies elit consequat rutrum. Vivamus nisl nibh, malesuada eu eleifend quis, feugiat sed diam. Fusce tellus elit, facilisis eu volutpat id, dapibus ut dolor. Suspendisse eleifend est nunc, nec suscipit purus aliquet a.

~Subject~ So the photoshop side is like any other time you're designing something. You pick a size (predetermine it's size via pixel count) then draw or modify an image. You can add text on top of it in the actual forum or you can draw it in.

I don't know how to use photoshop though...~Um...~ I'd recommend looking it tutorials on YouTube, cause to be honest, I don't use photoshop if I have the option XD If you're looking for a more beginner program, Krita is a good free option. It's pretty user friendly and relatively easy to understand.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." I had gimp at one point and some how broke the program to where it just won't run no matter how I uninstall and reinstall it... but I'll definitely look into that program because I don't feel like spending money right now that I can't afford to spend...

~Krita~ This video listed below is really long, (26:08) but I believe it gives a thorough run down of all of Krita's abilities.
There's a mobile version, but I believe that version does cost money, However, if you're running photoshop then I'm assuming you have a pc.
