--- Mudstripe As the patrol traveled through the plains and drew nearer to the stream that gave GrassClan their fresh water, Mudstripe listened with a heavy heart as Peach confirmed what the tom already knew—that his clanmates were certainly making it obvious that Peach’s presence was less than welcome. He knew not all of GrassClan were staunchly opposed to the she-cat joining them—Mudstripe had overheard Rustfeather the other day saying that having the former rogue around 'maybe wouldn’t be so bad', which gave the tabby tom hope. Still, Mudstripe knew that there was a long way to go for Peach to be fully accepted by the majority of GrassClan. With time, though, the warrior was confident things would turn around. “Scared?” Mudstripe snorted good-naturedly, his whiskers twitching in amusement. “The only things that scare me are bees—those guys are nasty vicious.” He returned Peach’s smile to indicate that he was mostly joking, although there was some truth to his words. Mudstripe was a little afraid of bees after an incident as an apprentice when he accidentally disturbed a hive when climbing a tree. He spent days recovering from being stung in the medicine cat den afterwards, and it was something the tom wasn’t eager to repeat. The sound of running water had Mudstripe turning to face forward as the stream and the edge of GrassClan’s territory came into view. He saw Sunsky and Sheepcall already beginning to scentmark, so Mudstripe gave a quick nod to Peach and followed suit. It was soothing, being near the stream. Watching the water run over the rocks was mesmerizing, and if Mudstripe focused, he could even see some fish swimming underneath the surface. Seeing the scaly creatures made his stomach growl once again—fish were rather rare for GrassClan to catch and consume. Most of his clanmates didn’t bother as they were usually content with their diet that mainly consisted of mice and birds, but having a fish every once and awhile was a nice treat. Still, the patrol wasn’t there to hunt, so Mudstripe resolutely turned away from the tempting prey.
[Should we have something happen here? Perhaps Sheepcall causes trouble, or something attacks them?]

Peach - Stream Border - w/ embercurse 's Mudstripe Peach smiled amusedly at Mudstripe's joking words. "I'll keep that in mind." she said with a small hint of laughter in her voice. At the light sound of trickling water, she turned her gaze back ahead, perking her ears forward curiously as the patrol arrived at the border. The former rogue stood back for a moment as she swept her gaze over the stream. Though they had arrived with the intent to mark the border and nothing else, she could help but silently note how peaceful the area seemed to be. Marking the border aside, she would have liked to come to the stream to simply sunbath as the usually tall grass thinned out around the water, allowing the sunlight to directly hit one's fur.
"Are you going to be part of this patrol or are you just going to stand there like an awe-struck kit?" Sheepcall's rough voice disturbed her thoughts.
Looking over at the tom, her ears flickered back. Though his taunt was frustrating, she loathed even more that it held some truth to it this time. Peach had prided herself in following her duties as perfectly as she could, hoping that the hard work would show her worth to the clan. To be caught slacking was a bit flustering to say the least. "Right. Sorry." she mumbled turning away from his green glare. Instead, the former rogue began to focus on the task at hand, trotting a small distance up the border- specifically in the direction away from Sheepcall -and began to help the patrol mark it.
As she did, she also scented around, copying Sunsky who was sniffing along the border. Peach didn't smell anything out of the normal right away but a moment later she began to pick up on a distinct scent that was being carried on the warm breeze. Her nose twitched at it and she turned her head to look over to the others, wondering if they smelled it.
(I'm thinking an attack by something! Could be a lone coyote?
Maybe Sheepcall can cause drama back at camp after it since Peach isn't used to fighting in a team so she might not come off as a team player during an attack. cx Also I was thinking the attack could allow Mudstripe to show off a little of whatever he remembers from training as a med cat if you want lol )

Heatherpool & Honeylight - RiverClan Camp - w/ Shadowkit 's Ebonywhisker Honeylight turned her head back over to look at Ebonywhisker as he made his promise. She studied him with more interest than she had shown the whole time they had been around each other. Ebonywhisker appeared much more desperate to make this arrangement work than she originally guessed. Perhaps that's something I can use to RiverClan's advantage... Honeylight thought with a thoughtful twitch of her tail tip. Eventually coming out of her momentary surprise, she nodded her head to Ebonywhisker and turned away from him to focus on what little was left of her meal. "I'll hold you to that, Ebonywhisker." she meowed quietly before leaning down to finish her fish.
Heatherpool looked over at the two cats and gave Ebonywhisker a small smile. Though it wasn't ideal for the tom to have to throw himself at the mercy of Honeylight, at least it seemed to strike some sort of cord with Honeylight. She was grateful that he was willing to do what it took to see that this arrangement for peace would work out when even her own clanmate seemed to be fighting against it. Deciding it wasn't her place to say anymore, she turned away and began to eat her fish.
Ebonywhisker couldn't help but hold his breath as Honeylight turned her head to stare at him, utterly desperate to secure at least a shred of development in the attempt to make the unity of the clans work. It was surprising to him as she took longer than he was expecting to give him a response, and that made him think that, perhaps, she was paying what he said the slightest bit of consideration.
He couldn't help but give a quiet sigh of relief as she gave an affirmation that she accepted what he had said. His constant pestering of her had bore some sort of fruit, and that was relieving to him considering what was at stake for this alliance. He felt like he could give a slight smile of relief. "Of course." He quietly murmured.
Bending now, he tried to keep from inhaling the stench of the fish as he continued to eat the meal, feeling just a bit more relaxed as he did so.
(Do you think this is a sensible place to make a bit of a skip?)

[ All of that sounds good to me! c: It’ll be cool to see how Peach develops over time from her rogue tendencies to a more clan oriented cat. ] --- Mudstripe
Mudstripe’s whiskers twitched in irritation at the white warrior calling Peach out like that, but he was relieved to see that no further arguments developed. The tabby was sure that as much as Sheepcall might make slight jabs at their new member, he would never be so bold as to directly fight with Peach in front of Sunsky. GrassClan’s deputy may not have been jumping for joy at Crowstar’s announcement, but she had also been one of the few cats to treat Peach neutrally rather than like dung on the bottom of their paw.
It was as the tom was heading in Peach’s direction that he too caught wind of the new scent carried in on the breeze. It made the brown warrior abruptly stand upright, his hackles raising. “Sunsky!”
The deputy snapped her head around, a snarl already forming. “Peach, behind you!”
From the thick of the tall grass, a matted body of fur slunk its way forward, black eyes glinting with hunger.
Coyote! Mudstripe had only seen a coyote once before, and it had already been dead—the twolegs had killed it for hunting their animals. To see one alive and staring the patrol down like they were the predator’s next meal made the tabby’s heart pound with fear.
The coyote made a sound from deep in its throat before lunging forward. Mudstripe unsheathed his claws and rushed towards the animal, but not before a blur of tortoiseshell fur darted past. Sunsky was swift, attacking at the coyote’s legs before slinking away quickly as it rounded on her with snapping jaws.
Mudstripe approached the animal to draw its attention away from the deputy and saw Sheepcall doing the same from the corner of his eye.
“Peach, corner him in, back towards the grass!” Sunsky yowled, hoping the four cats would be able to box the coyote in and drive him back the way he came.

Finchstar - accompanied by Silverstar - - forest -> river shore - [brambleflight ] The oddly plump vole made its way out of the thick, leafy bush. Finchstar was used to seeing such prey in AlderClan’s camp, but he much preferred birds. His lean frame was meant for climbing up trees and leaping from branch to branch. But because that wasn’t an option in the chilling forest, he decided to settle for a vole. His blue eyes stayed fixated on the prey as it gnawed on some loose grass. Soon enough, it was in his sight. He crouched down and put all of his weight onto his haunches, in hopes that he had enough strength to catch the vole. The bi-colored tom sprung forward, landing atop the vole and quickly delivering a bite to its neck, feeling it snap between his teeth. He lifted the prey by its small neck into his maw and padded away, in complete silence. The last thing on the AlderClan’s leader’s mind was Silverstar. He didn’t care where she was, if she had found prey, or if she got lost. She may be as weak as he was due to losing a life, but he wasn’t going to doubt her on returning back to their meeting spot. She would show up in her own time. Though there was one thought that left him curious-- what else was around the forest? They would need shelter soon and with the cold temperatures and buffeting wind, it wouldn’t be smart to stay in the open. Being by the river wasn’t an option either. He traipsed through the woods, gaze scouring the territory for some sort of shelter. He wasn’t too far from where he had caught his vole, but he could see large, twisting roots of a tree nearby. Finchstar sprinted towards the tree before coming to a halt where he was close enough but kept his distance in case there were any predators. There seemed to be a decent amount of space for two cats to hide underneath the roots since the outside of them were covered by heaps of moss. We only need shelter for one night, this spot may do, he thought, leaving a mark on the tree with his unsheathed claws. It wasn’t long after the AlderClan leader was back at the river shore and placing his kill down. He felt the wind buffet against his fur and shivered visibly. If Silverstar didn’t show up soon, he was going to eat his prey and head for shelter. He didn't care, he just wanted to be warm and have a full belly. image credited to Pixabay - (CC0 license)

And I don't c: That's all up to you as far as his parents and such! Also did you want to brainstorm on where the clan clan should be located/background/culture stuff? Shadowkit Yeah! I'll go ahead and take us into the next day ^^ ) Heatherpool - RiverClan Camp - w/ shadowkitten 's Ebonywhisker The two she-cats quietly finished off their meals, a tension seeming to ease between the group despite the fact that other clanmates were consistent in sending glares at Ebonywhisker. Honeylight was the first to part ways from the group, rising slowly from the ground and giving a curt word of goodbye as she retired into the warriors den for the night. It wasn't long after that Heatherpool did the same, only offering a more polite parting.
---- The next morning came quick. Giving a long stretch, Heatherpool let out a long yawn and blinked as she glanced around the warrior's den. It appeared that most cats were still asleep so she rose quietly from her nest and carefully maneuvered her way out of the den. Almost as soon as she placed a paw out of the den, she felt the eyes of the clan deputy on her. Laketalon was sitting near the leader's den and as soon as she spotted the cream colored warrior exit, she rose to her paws and padded over to address her. Unsure what it was for, Heatherpool shuffled her paws a bit and then stepped to meet her.
"Need me for dawn patrol?" Heatherpool asked only for Laketalon to shake her head.
The deputy gave her a smile of sympathy. "No. Unfortunately, we still need you to stick with Honeylight and Ebonywhisker. Even if they aren't assigned to anything yet." she explained. Laketalon was one of the few higher ranking cats that disapproved of the arrangement Brookstar and Snowstar had made but being a loyal deputy, she never dared to undermine her leader's decision. "I actually came to ask you to lead them on a patrol. A hunting patrol specifically since Brookstar doesn't want ShadowClan to think we aren't holding up our end of the agreement."
Heatherpool blinked and then nodded her head in understanding. "Of course. Do you just want the three of us to go?" she asked curiously. If it was just the three of them, it was likely that most of the prey would be going to ShadowClan which did cause some concern from the warrior. Laketalon paused before shaking her head. "No. Take Sandruffle and Gullpaw with you as well... I'm trust that they won't cause too many issues for you." she meowed.
"Alright. I'll grab them as well. We'll leave a little after the dawn patrol." Heatherpool agreed with a respectful dip of her head. As Laketalon nodded in approval, the cream colored warrior turned and began to pad back over towards the warrior's den, glancing around for the cats that she'd be taking with her on the fishing patrol.
Peach blinked with alarm as Mudstripe and Sunsky reacted to the scent, clearly more familiar with it than herself. The orange tabby whirled around, bristling fearfully as the coyote stalked out of the tall grass. Instinctively, she took a few slow steps back, desperate to put some distance between herself and the creature as she let out a low growl. She had only seen these animals from a distance. Being a rogue, she often stuck close to the twoleg dens and barns. While she had run into a few unpleasant dogs, she had also been able to avoid such encounters as this one.
As the creature lunged, Peach jumped back. Much to her surprise, the other warriors did quite the opposite. Her green eyes widened slightly as she saw Sunsky, Mudstripe and Sheepcall all rush at the coyote without fear. She thought the next step would have been to run for cover to get away from the larger threat. At least that was what she was used to doing. She was snapped out of her daze as the deputy suddenly yowled orders at her. Peach hesitated before attempting to do as commanded. Perhaps, between the four of them, they did have a chance of driving off the bloodthirsty creature. She came up on the coyote's right, her muscles tense and her claws unsheathed, ready to attack.
The animal snarled and took a step back. It's working... Peach thought in mild amazement. Almost as soon as the thought passed, the coyote suddenly snapped it's jaws at her. It wasn't a direct attack but it was enough to alarm the she-cat. Letting out fierce snarl, she broke the formation and lunged forward to swipe her claws at the coyote's muzzle. It gave the creature enough space to slip in between the cats, no longer cornered and inching further into the clan's territory.
"You mousebrain!" Sheepcall snarled at Peach as he leapt to bite down on the coyote's back leg, hoping to draw it back towards the border.
(Same! Definitely gives me a lot to develop cx )
Silverstar - Shore - w/ Sand 's Finchstar Carrying the rabbit in her jaws, she padded back to the river's shore. Her senses were filled with the prey she was carrying so it was impossible for her to scent to see if the rival leader was nearby. She didn't have to wonder for too long though as the forest thinned enough for her to see the bi-colored tom waiting at the shore. Though she hadn't been too concerned about him leaving to get ahead of her, she had to admit that there was a small sense of relief in seeing him there waiting. At least, it seemed, that she wouldn't have to worry about him trying to get ahead of her that night.
She gave a curt nod of her head to him as she joined him on the shore. Placing down her rabbit, she gave her pelt a small shake and then shifted her blue gaze over to the other leader. "Seems the prey runs well here, lucky for us." she muttered before moving to settle down to eat her fresh kill while it was still warm. Though she wasn't thrilled to be in his company, Silverstar decided she might as well act as civilly as she could towards Finchstar. The two would likely be stuck together for another day and the last thing she or her clan needed was for a fight to break out that would prolong her return.
Silverstar took a small bite of her kill, chewing it thoughtfully as she mulled over their current situation. The dropping temperature reminded the she-cat that the two would likely need to find shelter for the night after they finished their meals. Not only for the comfort of keeping warm but staying out in the open in unknown territory was dangerous in itself. "We should start looking for shelter soon too. The last thing we need is to invite more trouble by staying out in the open." she mused looking over at Finchstar.

(Thank you ^^)
It hadn't felt quite right for the warrior to force his way into the den which he really didn't belong in, so Ebonywhisker had found himself in a quiet and cold corner of the camp, shivering his way into sleep in the cold hours of the night. As long as he didn't get in any cat's way, he hoped that he wouldn't face any serious issues--at least, that's what he figured would keep him truly safe. After Honeylight had given him the slightest hint of acknowledgement, he figured it would be intelligent to keep himself from angering any other cat in the camp, so he set himself to sleep in the cold without bothering anyone else.
So, he lay uneasily in the corner of camp. To say he was asleep would have been a bit of a lie, as he had been tossing and turning the whole night. He had grabbed a half hour of sleep here, tossed and turned awake and managed a bit more sleep there, but his rest wasn't plentiful throughout the nice. He wouldn't be hard to awaken now that the patrol was supposed to go out.

--- Mudstripe
Mudstripe knew protocal for running into a predator on BreezeClan territory—if possible, ensure that the animal exits the clan’s land. If not, at least make note of the predator’s last known location so that a larger patrol can attempt to protect BreezeClan’s home at a more opportune moment. Mudstripe knew all of this because he had the good fortune of growing up in a clan that taught him skills he needed to fight in the best interest of his clanmates.
The brown warrior realized that—as much as Peach had demonstrated herself to be a capable cat—she hadn’t been mentored the same way that Mudstripe and his clanmates had been. They were taught what to do in these types of situations as cats working together towards a common goal—something that Peach, through no fault of her own, had yet to possess.
When the coyote snapped at Peach and the she-cat lunged forward in response, Mudstripe felt his heart leap in his throat from fear. The feeling only amplified when this action allowed the coyote to slip between the barrier they had created, pushing the predator closer to BreezeClan territory rather than away from it.
At this point it was imperative the cats worked together to drive the threat away, so Mudstripe swallowed his fear and ignored Sheepcall’s insult lodged at Peach to instead fight beside the white warrior.
As Sheepcall retreated away from the snapping of the coyote’s jaws, Mudstripe swiped his claws across the coyote’s side, digging in deep to draw blood. He made a move to draw his paw away to quickly get out of reach, but his claws snagged in the coyote’s fur and suddenly Mudstripe felt the wind get knocked out of him as the coyote flung him to the ground.
Wheezing from the impact, Mudstripe blinked rapidly and tried to shake off the dull pain as he rose to his paws. It was then that the brown tabby saw Sunsky snarl and rake her claws across the coyote’s face, slicing through an eye. The anguished cry that emitted from the coyote, however, was nothing compared to the pained yowl that Sunsky bellowed as she failed to scramble backwards and the larger animal bit into her shoulder.
“No!” Mudstripe yelped and immediately darted forward to bite at the coyote’s hind leg, and he saw Sheepcall doing the same thing on the other side. The brown tom made eye contact with Peach and tried to implore her with a glance. Help us!

(Oh sure! We could actually change the clan names if you want a different location type too! those were the old ones for someone that ended up ditching cx But I'm also cool with doing a mountainous terrain! Or we could do somewhere that's just known for the cold. Like a clan in an Alaska type location) I’m honestly struggling to come up with territory and names xD ))

Heatherpool - RiverClan Camp - w/ Shadowkit 's Ebonywhisker Heatherpool spotted Ebonywhisker laying off to one corner of the camp, quick to find the former ShadowClan cat amongst the familiar faces of her clanmates. She let out a small yawn and then padded over to the tom. Her gaze shifted over him, silently noting that he seemed to be sleeping in the corner of the camp. A small frown crossed her lips as she wondered if the tom had been sleeping there the whole night when he had a nest in the warrior's den. She let out a soft sigh.
"Hey Ebonywhisker." Heatherpool meowed, nudging his shoulder with her paw in case he was in a deep sleep. "Laketalon wants us to go on a hunting patrol today. Honeylight will be coming with us of course... And a couple other cats." She informed him. Her gaze traveled away from him, looking for the others that would be joining them on the patrol. The warrior knew what to expect from Honeylight and she was rather certain Sandruffle wouldn't cause them much strife. The tom was rather laid back and probably among the few who paid no mind to the new addition of Ebonywhisker.
Peach didn't have time to respond to Sheepcall's insult as she doubled away from the coyote. She didn't understand why the white tom was furious with her anyways. All the she-cat had done was protect herself. She let out a quiet huff and looked for an opening to attack as the others rushed their attacker. Just as she was getting ready to leap back into the fray, she flinched as Sunsky let out a pain-filled yowl. A bit of panic bubbled in the orange tabby, catching Mudstripe's pleading glance.
The coyote didn't seem intent on letting go of Sunsky right away and once he did, he'd surely go after the other two. But she could get in between that and hopefully get the beast to release the deputy. The orange tabby curled her lip upwards into a snarl and raced forward. Using her naturally long limbs, she pushed herself off the ground and onto the coyote's back. Well, almost onto it's back. It shifted last second, throwing her off slightly. Still, the she-cat managed to sink her claws into it's side, gripping on for dear life as she grabbed the back of it's neck in her jaws.
The animal was easily to big to deliver a killing blow but Peach was simply aiming to get it to release Sunsky and keep it from attacking the others. Luckily the move worked as the coyote let go of the deputy in order to let out a small cry. Unfortunately, her plan of attack hadn't been well thought out as it left her with no time to escape, especially when she had a miscalculated landing. The coyote whipped it's head around to target it's first threat, which was her. Unable to unhook herself from the creature fast enough, it's jaws snapped down on her leg, dragging her off it's back and giving a nasty shake before tossing her.
Peach let out a small cry of pain before landing roughly on the ground as the coyote released her from it's grip. The orange tabby felt her breath leave her and a warm trickle of blood beginning to stream from the new wound on her leg. Dazed and winded, she slowly lifted herself back up, watching as the coyote, in a frantic fashion whirled on the two toms in an effort to further free itself from the attacking cats.
(@stitchlover20 no worries! xD I have a few different ideas! I'll work on a list for us lol )

(( brambleflight sorry for the late reply :c ooh i love the clan !! maybe Brightpaw could be Spottedberry ‘s sibling from a later litter if that’s ok wit you ? i was thinking her mother could’ve died during kit-birth (lol) and the father being unknown , to make it simple cx also here’s Brightpaw ‘s smaller description :: Brightpaw - naturally small and thin, long-furred and fluffy dilute tortie she-cat with bright green eyes and long claws. tbh i think we’re done with all the planning ? what do u think ? ))

Ebonywhisker seemed to be stuck inside a dream as she called to him in his corner of the camp, but as she pressed her paw to him to awaken him from his sleep he finally arose, a look of alarm on his face as his head first darted upwards from its sleeping position. Yet, it took him but a few seconds to focus on Heatherpool, gulp down his panic and remember where he was. He seemed to need a few seconds just to remember and to reorient himself in his new prison.
He slowly brought himself up to his paws, wincing in pain as the bones in his body protested the movement after sleeping so uncomfortably during the night. "G-great," He squinted as he tried to keep the pain from expressing itself upon his face. He watched her for a couple seconds after he had risen to his paws. "I'm surprised your clanmates are ready to let me go out on the territory, but...I won't complain. I'm ready to be useful."
He gave a long and and slender stretch, showing his lacking muscle along with the sleekness of his figure. He returned to standing fully and looked around the camp at who was awake, mostly checking for the patrol, as well as how many cats who glaring aggressively at them. "Where is Honeylight?" He quietly asked, wondering where his mate-to-be was at the moment.

--- Mudstripe
Peach! Mudstripe’s eyes widened in horror as the coyote managed to sink its claws into her leg before shaking her and letting go. Watching the ginger tabby land in a heap on the ground with fresh blood oozing out of the wound, Mudstripe knew that this wasn’t looking good for the clan cats. They needed to finish the fight now lest they all ended up terribly injured, or worse.
As the animal rounded on him and Sheepcall, Mudstripe did notice it seemed rather skittish now, probably hurting from the onslaught of attacks that the patrol had thrown at the coyote. Maybe just one more try… He met eyes with Sheepcall and the white warrior gave him a firm nod, and then they both ran forward at the same time. Mudstripe dodged to one side and repeated his move from earlier, dragging his claws across the coyote, but this time he made sure to bite down in the exact same place where the animal had already taken damage in his back leg. He couldn’t see from this angle what Sheepcall had done, but the larger creature let out a mighty howl and shook ferociously to dislodge Mudstripe.
The brown tabby tried to hold on for as long as he could to drive the pain home, but eventually he was flung off and landed heavily on the ground once more, his breath leaving him as pain erupted on his side.
Nevertheless, Mudstripe grit his teeth and scrambled back onto his paws, ready to go another round but almost dropped to the floor in relief when he saw the coyote turn and run back into the tall grass, away from the heart of BreezeClan territory.
Thank StarClan that’s over.
Now that the adrenaline was beginning to subside, Mudstripe could feel how bruised his ribs must be from landing on them twice already, but he knew his injuries were nothing compared to the bites that Sunsky and Peach had sustained. He wasn’t sure yet what damage Sheepcall had taken, but he didn’t see any blood on the white cat, so Mudstripe decided assessing Sheepcall could wait a minute.
He walked gingerly over to where Sunsky was and the deputy didn’t even hesitate to allow Mudstripe access to her shoulder. “Mmm, it’s pretty deep," he murmured, concerned with the awful color the bite was already turning under the caked blood.
Sunsky snorted. “Dung-brain thought he could take a chunk out of me.”
Mudstripe gave a soft mrrow of amusement before turning away from the deputy’s shoulder. ”Sheepcall, I need you to go find as many cobwebs as you can, quickly please.” As an afterthought, he added, ”And dandelion if you see it—there’s usually a good clump along the stream farther down.”
Luckily the other tom put up no protest, not that Mudstripe was really anticipating one—Sheepcall was a pain to deal with sometimes and had strong opinions, but when it counted, he was a BreezeClan member through and through, and he pulled his weight.
He gave Sunsky a nod and stepped away before turning to pad over to where Peach was still lying, making sure to approach cautiously so as not to spook the injured cat. “May I?” Mudstripe inquired, gesturing with his head towards the ginger tabby’s leg.

(@stitchlover20 So here's what I came up with xD Feel free to add or change anything! 1. Snowy Region Clan - Alaska like area where the cats are usually thick coated, know how to hunt in the snow, usually prey on rabbits and birds. They might live near a two leg place for protection (perhaps a wolf pack lives further out) as well as occasional food. I could see this clan bending the rules slightly since the weather is so harsh prey may be scarce a lot of the times. We could also tie in the northern lights somehow to their culture. Perhaps it's a warrior's journey to see them and receive their name under them like in a vision or other wise. Clan Name ideas : SnowClan, FrostClan, IceClan, FrozenClan, BlizzardClan
2. Swamp/Marsh Clan - This clan lives out in large marshy area. The camp could be one of the dryer spots of the territory, perhaps under a large willow tree that keeps them hidden from most dangers. This clan could have developed ways of usually getting around the bigger predators in their area, namely alligators. I could see a lack of twolegs around the territory and the clan would likely have a more aquatic/amphibian based diet (frogs, fish, maybe turtles?) along with bird and occasionally smaller rodents. Clan Name Ideas : SwampClan, MarshClan, ToadClan, MinkClan, WillowClan, AspenClan
3. Underground/Cave Based Clan - The clan lives in a series of caves, either under or in a mountainside. The caves have a good majority of what the clan needs. Water, some herbs, etc. The only time the clan cats leave really is to hunt when the prey inside the caves is scarce. This clan might have a weaker idea of borders since they rarely leave the safety of their tunnels/cave. Clan Name Ideas : CaveClan, TunnelClan, BatClan
4. Desert Based Clan - This clan lives in the middle of a desert. Their camp is based at a small oasis. While it gives them plenty of access to prey, their territory also brings in quite a few predators who are drawn to both the prey and water. For this reason, the clan is reliant on guard shifts and large numbered patrols to keep the cats safe. Clan Name Ideas : SandClan, DesertClan, OasisClan
5. Redwood Clan - This clan makes it's camp in the large, hollowed out trunk of a fallen redwood tree. These cats are known for their climbing skills, using them in methods of fighting as well as hunting due to the large trees around them. Perhaps they even have a tradition where a cat must climb as high as they can and leave their mark on a certain tree? Or have to climb to a certain height in order to become a warrior? Clan Name Ideas : RedClan, TreeClan, SquirrelClan, WoodClan, TrunkClan
6. Traditional Clan - And of course we could always do something based in a forest type setting! c: komorebi Sure! Brightpaw and Spottedberry could be related c: That all sounds good! And I think we are too. We can go over more of the direction we want to go with the plot the further we get into it c: right now I figure we can begin a little after the two become apprentices! Especially since Dovepaw's going to be bummed that Brightpaw won't be training with him as a warrior xD) Heatherpool - RiverClan Camp - w/ Shadowkit 's Ebonywhisker Heatherpool eyed him with a hint of concern as she noticed him wince in pain. As he went on to mention his surprise, the she-cat shrugged her shoulders. "I think Brookstar just wants to make sure Snowstar knows she's holding up her end of the deal with the prey arrangement." she explained. That and keeping him locked up in camp wouldn't help with him adjusting to life in RiverClan. The cream colored warrior looked away from him as she spotted Sandruffle exiting the warrior's den. She waved her tail to get the tom's attention before turning back to Ebonywhisker.
"Likely still sleeping in the warrior's den." she answered as he asked about Honeylight. Her whiskers twitched in mild amusement. "She tends to be a bit lazy but you didn't hear that from me." She added with a quick wink before looking to Sandruffle as he joined them. The pale orange tom nodded his head in greeting to Heatherpool before flickering his gaze onto Ebonywhisker.
He paused, seeming to debate if he should greet the ShadowClan cat or not before finally deciding not to as he gave his attention to Heatherpool. "Morning. Did you need me for something, Heatherpool?" he asked with a small yawn. The tom wasn't really sure what to make of Ebonywhisker. It was uneasy having a ShadowClan cat in the camp after so much fighting but the tom was also there on terms their leaders agreed to so how could he fault him? It was a strange situation that Sandruffle felt awkward addressing.
"Yeah. Laketalon wants you and Gullpaw to come along with us on a hunting patrol." Heatherpool explained. "We'll be leaving shortly, I just need to get Honeylight."
"Oh ok." Sandruffle meowed. He paused glancing briefly at Ebonywhisker. "Uh, I'll go get Gullpaw then and meet you at the camp entrance." Without waiting for a reply, he turned and padded off to wake his apprentice.
Heatherpool watched him go, letting out a small sigh. Sandruffle may not have been hostile like some of her clanmates but he was clearly uncomfortable with Ebonywhisker around. "Let's go get Honeylight then and we can be on our way." she meowed to Ebonywhisker, deciding it was best not to comment on her clanmate's behavior.
Peach stayed down as she watched the two toms deal with the coyote. Luckily it seemed the injured creature was more than willing to flee after being attacked so much by what it though would be its next meal. The orange tabby let out a shaky sigh of relief as it disappeared from sight and she sunk down heavily, laying slightly on her side to keep pressure off her injured paw.
The she-cat glanced around at the others, cringing slightly as she took in the sight of Sunsky's wound. Admittedly, the deputy's hardiness and fierceness was impressive to the former rogue. Her dark green eyes swept over to look at Mudstripe curiously as the brown tabby began to inspect the deputy's wound. She was glad to see at least one of them knew a bit about healing. Well at least he was sensible enough to ask Sheepcall to get cobwebs, something even Peach was aware of how to use. Although she wasn't sure what the dandelion was for. Leaning down, she began to clean around her own wound, licking away some of the blood that was staining her leg.
She was caught off guard as Mudstripe stepped over to look at her injury. Peach blinked and looked up at him and hesitated before giving a nod. "Be my guest." she meowed, leaning away from the wound to make it visible to him. The former rogue was a bit confused on why he was interested in examining her wound. From what she remembered, the clan only had one current healer and that was Oatpelt, one of the few cats that she had been introduced to specifically. Perhaps it was common for warriors to know a thing or two about treating a battle wound though. "I'm guessing you know a bit more about treating wounds than I do." she mused.

[ Btw, I need to apologize because I just realized that in my last two posts, I called their clan BreezeClan instead of GrassClan. ^^; That's my mistake, sorry about that. ] --- Mudstripe
Once given the approval, Mudstripe padded forward and lowered his head to get a closer look at Peach’s wound. It also didn’t look great, and the tom contained a wince at how the coyote’s teeth had really did a number on his clanmate’s flesh. He just hoped that Sheepcall hurried back soon with that cobweb—it was imperative that both she-cat’s had their wounds dressed to stem the flow of blood, lest they lose too much. The last thing Mudstripe needed was either of them passing out from an abundance of blood loss.
“Mmm,” Mudstripe hummed in response, still focused on inspecting the bite, though he did flash a glance up at Peach with a small, almost bittersweet smile, “You could say that.”
The tom seemed lost in thought for a moment before he sighed and sat back, realizing there was little he could do until Sheepcall returned. “I used to train under Oatpelt, actually.” The brown warrior drew his tail across the ground as he continued, his tone rather melancholy. “Before I became a warrior. It was only for a few moons, but I still remember enough to be useful sometimes.”
Mudstripe cleared his throat and shook his head, raising his eyes to meet Peach’s gaze as he gave the she-cat a wry smile. “It didn’t work out, obviously, or I wouldn’t be a warrior.”
From the tall grass Sheepcall appeared, cobwebs and some dandelion wrapped up in a large leaf, and Mudstripe breathed a sigh of relief. It had been awhile since his time in the medicine den had been dredged up. Most cats in the clan knew about his history so they usually steered clear of speaking about it and just let Mudstripe help if the situation called for it. He hadn’t talked out loud about his apprenticeship under Oatpelt in a few seasons, and the memories clogged the brown tabby’s mind.
No matter, that’s all in the past. He needed to focus.
”Thanks,” Mudstripe meowed before taking the bundle from the white tom. He went about his work quickly, first taking care to wrap up the bite on Sunsky’s shoulder after the she-cat had done her best to lick it clean. Then he repeated the process with the bite on Peach’s leg. Lastly, he gave each of them some of the dandelion leaves. “Chew on these,” he instructed, “they’ll help ease the pain while we travel back. I would’ve preferred to use some goldenrod or marigold, but I know Oatpelt’s just picked some a few sunrises ago, so all the fresh ones are back at camp.”
“Speaking of, we should get back as quickly as possible,” Sunsky chimed in, “I need to report this to Crowstar.”
Mudstripe refrained from rolling his eyes. “And you need Oatpelt to finish treating you for a possible infection.”
The GrassClan deputy merely began to head in the direction of camp, and this time Mudstripe did murmur under his breath. Sunsky was a proud cat, but he knew she wasn’t dumb—she would visit Oatpelt later surely.
The brown tabby turned to look at Peach, a frown marring his face as he looked at her leg. “Do you think you can walk? The dandelion will act as a painkiller, but you can lean on me if you need support.”
Sheepcall snorted as he passed by to follow Sunsky and Mudstripe shot him a look through narrowed eyes.

Peach tilted her head curiously at Mudstripe's vague words. It seemed her initial guess wasn't accurate as the look on his face told of a different story. As he admitted to at one point being Oatpelt's apprentice, her curiosity didn't fade. Especially since the tom's tone of voice and words made it seem like it wasn't a normal occurance for one to go from healer to warrior. The orange tabby parted her jaws, ready to question what had happened to make him step down but didn't get the chance to as Sheepcall returned.
Her head turned to glance over at the white tom as he delivered the bundle to Mudstripe. As the brown tabby went to work, she watched him. For a cat that became a warrior instead of a healer, he seemed be quite decent at it. It certainly caused her to wonder what made him step down from being a medicine cat. However, it seemed she wouldn't get the chance to ask as he proceed to treat her leg after Sunsky's shoulder and instructed her to chew on the dandelion leaves. I suppose it's none of my business anyways.. The she-cat thought, letting her interest die as she took the leaves and began to chew on them as instructed.
As Sunsky expressed the need to get back to camp, the former rogue gave a small nod and slowly rose to her paws. She had to be careful with her leg as well as make sure she was balanced. She looked over at Mudstripe as he asked about her ability to walk and opened her mouth to answer but paused at Sheepcall's snort. She eyed the white tom for a moment, recalling his unnecessary frustration with her during their fight with the coyote. Not believing she did anything wrong, she shook her head and focused back to Mudstripe.
"I don't think I can walk but I can probably hop back to camp." She told him with an amused look. "If you don't mind sticking near me though I'd appreciate it. I'm definitely not fully stable on three paws." she meowed with a grateful smile as she carefully bounced to follow after the other two GrassClan cats.
(No worries xD Sorry it took me a while to reply! I have very little self control and ended up making more plots xD)

Ebonywhisker acknowledged Heatherpool's rationalization of letting him out with a nod, understanding the sensibility in making sure his mother knew right away that this deal was going to be honoured--or at least that that was the intention.
He gave a slight smile as she revealed the truth about Honeylight. He didn't judge at all--sometimes the nest was just too tempting to get oneself up to work. He couldn't say that aloud, though...No cat could. It was an unspoken understanding between a select number of lazy cats. "I better not get on her nerves this morning..." He murmured, quietly, to himself. In his mind was still the tiny hop of progress he had made his first day, and he didn't want to erase that tiny leap of progress with getting on Honeylight's nerves.
Ebonywhisker was ready to greet and smile at Sandruffle as he engaged with Heatherpool, but the cat didn't acknowledge him at first with anything more than a glance. He quietly pulled a breath into his chest, not certain if he was already going to have to contend with such hostility.
Sandruffle seemed to be addressing Heatherpool as he prepared to grab his apprentice, but Ebonywhisker noticed that the cat wasn't...he wasn't necessarily hostile. He wasn't acknowledging the cat much either, but he wasn't giving Ebonywhisker a hateful glare; more of an uncertain and uncomfortable look. "Y-yeah..." He nodded quickly as Sandruffle mentioned meeting them, even though he knew the Riverclan warrior was probably intending to speak with Heatherpool.
He turned back to her once the warrior departed them and Heatherpool spoke to the Shadowclan tom-cat again. "S-sure, let's...get her up..." He quietly mewedd, some anxiety making his way into his voice as he thought of being on a patrol with Honeylight. He was sent here to be her mate, and he was hoping they could start to at least get to know each other a little bit by the end of the quarter-moon. Of course, Heaterhpool's words echoed in his head. Love wasn't guarenteed to come from this situation, especially quickly. He returned to feeling a bit dismayed as he thought of spending moons hated by the clan, with a mate who didn't want to see a hair on his pelt.
He began padding alongside Heatherpool as they headed towards the warrior's den to awaken the lazy, asleep warrior.

[ You’re fine c: but oh man how do you manage so many plots all at once, I would be so confused x’3 ] --- Mudstripe
Mudstripe continued to be impressed with Peach’s spirit. Even with a significant wound on her leg and snide attitude from cats like Sheepcall, the she-cat was nothing but positivity and smiles. There really is something to learn from her. He made sure to stick close to the she-cat just in case she lost her balance, and the group of four slowly began to make their trek back towards GrassClan camp. The sun was now high in the sky, which meant that this morning’s hunting patrol was most definitely back by now.
Thank StarClan, we could all use a good meal after that.
Thinking of the fight made Mudstripe remember Peach’s performance. Though she had a few things to learn in the way of how the clan operated together, she had proved herself to be formidable in battle and brave enough to take some damage. She’ll make a fine warrior—I think Crowstar really was right about this. Now if only it would so easy to convince the rest of the clan.
”Thank you, by the way,” Mudstripe murmured, keeping his gaze locked ahead, ”For helping us back there. I don’t know what your experiences have been like with having to fight, but you really saved Sunsky’s pelt.” He glanced at the she-cat as she hobbled along beside him and frowned. “I’m just sorry that you got hurt for it.”

( @stitchlover20 Alright cool we can do one based there then ) Heatherpool & Honeylight - RiverClan Camp - w/ Shadowkit 's Ebonywhisker Heatherpool nodded her head and took the lead in padding into the warrior's den. Stepping inside, her gaze swept over her other sleeping clanmates before locking onto the light brown she-cat who was comfortably curled up in her nest. Carefully manuevering around the other cats, she went ahead and approached the sleeping warrior, poking her side to jostle her awake. "Hey Honeylight, wake up. We have to go on a patrol." She meowed, keeping her voice low so she didn't disturb anyone else.
Honeylight let out a small groan as she was awoken from her slumber. She popped one eye open to look up at Heatherpool, letting out a sigh as she was informed that she was needed for a patrol. The light brown she-cat slowly rose from her nest, giving her fur a couple of grooming licks before her gaze focused on the two cats in front of her. Of course, it seemed her mother would be making her spend her time with Ebonywhisker. "Alright, alright. I'm up, let's get this over with." she replied with a large yawn. She stretched out her limbs and rose to her paws as she trailed after Heatherpool out of the den, ending up besides Ebonywhisker as the cream colored she-cat was quick to pull ahead of the two.
Reminded of his words from the night before, Honeylight flicked her tail thoughtfully. She still wasn't happy about the arrangement but perhaps, there was something for RiverClan to gain from it if she 'played' at least a little nicer with the ShadowClan cat. With that in mind, she looked over at him. "Morning," she muttered, finding it difficult to be overly friendly without hurting her pride as a RiverClan warrior. "ready for your first RiverClan patrol?"

Peach - GrassClan Territory - w/ embercurse 's Mudstripe Luckily for her, hopping wasn't as difficult as she originally thought it would be. The worst part was her own instincts telling her to put her injured paw down whenever she swayed slightly. It was hard to fight back against that but the she-cat managed with a lot of focus put into her basic movements. It was also nice to know that the support was there if she needed it. With Mudstripe sticking close, her worries of falling behind or tripping over her own paws were considerably lessened. She was thankful for his willingness to help her as well as how kindly he treated her when most in the clan would only give her glares in response.
As the tom spoke up, her green eyes gave him a side glance. His words warmed the she-cat as they were among the first to make her feel like she was on the right track to truly becoming an accepted member of the clan. "It is one of the more painful wounds I've had," she admitted but then gave a small smirk as she focused her gaze ahead. "but if I had ran into that coyote as a rogue I would have been it's next meal." That much she was certain of. Even if she had other rogues around her, teamwork was unlikely.
She gave a one shoulder shrug. "I've been in various fights before, but usually they're more one on ones with other cats who want what I have. Having others on your side," she mumbled with a faint smile. "it's definitely a nice change.. Even if not everyone is fond of me." Teamwork may have been foreign to her but it was something she was eager to learn. It had been one of the main draws of the clan.
So caught up in speaking, the she-cat misstepped and in order to recover, bumped against Mudstripe. Thanks to the tom being besides her, she was able to regain her balance once more without falling. "And thank you by the way. Healer or warrior, you've certainly helped me out plenty today." she added with an amused twitch of her whiskers as she hopped along after the others back to camp.
(I survive off my character formats and the fact that not everyone is on at once xD the day everyone is on all at once is the day I drowned in replies lol)
