OOC βΊ Aphelyon RP βΊ Silas had wanted to enjoy the bright sunny weather, as spring was finally here he couldn't contain his excitement. He headed out of the town, skirting around buildings. Walking along a fence line he jumped to a near by maple tree, he make his way down the tree and landed with a thud on the soft ground. Silas had discovered a sandy shore further up stream a few days ago and it was the perfect spot to lounge or catch from lizards. As he walked along birds chirped and sang there sweet songs, his silver fur bounced as he trotted. The loud roar of the stream got closer as he got closer to the stream, he a ways down the stream. He decided to stop and lap at the fresh and crisp waters, that stung his lungs and sent shivers down his spine.
A cry for help brushed past his ears, he angled his ears lifting his head; listening for few moments. But the sound had disappeared, Maybe I should go check it out. He thought to himself and he started back up stream, but with a quicker pace. He felt determination fill his chest, padding alongside the stream. The sandy shore came into view, he stopped for a moment when he safe a figure in the distance struggle out of the water and fall weakly on the shore. Once he realized it was a cat, is was almost as if lighting was in his blood, he ran as fast as lighting. His lungs started to burn but he didn't care, he reach the sandy shore within minutes and quickly padded over to the fawn she cat.
He slowly walked up to the drenched cat, he could hear heavy labored breathing. They're alive! He thought and quickly grabbed to what he could tell she cat's neck fur and pulled her further onto the warm sand. Once he thought they were good, he padded around to face her and sat down; cocking his head. "Are you okay?" He asked, he voice was worried and filled with concern.
The little Abyssinian almost didn't notice the tom approaching her, her ears still filled with water and muffling the pounding of his paws on the soft earth. It wasn't until water splashed against her muzzle and she felt something on her scruff that she realized there was anyone there, and in a moment of panic she let out a frightened squeal and lashed out weakly in instinctive self-defense. She went limp again as she was dragged onto dry ground, heaving and panting and even more exhausted from the brief exertion. She blinked water and sand out of her eyes as a shadow felt over her, and slowly the gray shape sharpened into the features of a gray tomcat. It took her a few moments, through her haze of near-death and confusion, to register that he was speaking to her. It probably didn't help that it had been moons- a year even, maybe- since the last time she had heard the voice of another feline. She let out a quiet, raspy squeak- the best she could do to use her voice at the moment- and unable to get words out instead she just slowly nodded.
Finally, she gathered enough of her strength to push herself from the ground and into a crouching position, only coughing up a little more water as she did so. With the afternoon sun warming her pelt, her mind started to clear, and it became a bit easier to breath. Still, the soreness and tiredness in her muscles didn't go away. Eventually, though, she raised her head to get a closer look at the tom who had dragged her out of the water. He was quite handsome, she thought, but then she had never seen an adult tomcat before. She had only ever met her mother and her littermates when she was very young. For that matter, though, she had never actually seen a cat like him before at all. She had assumed all cats looked like her and her kin. His eyes were the wrong color and his muzzle was too short and his fur was too long, and she might have doubted he was a cat at all if not for his large, pointed ears and the pinkish tone in his fur that reminded her of her lilac-pelted siblings.
"I-I'm fine," she finally managed to rasp out, her voice faint and shrill, barely more than a high-pitched whisper from breathing water and from disuse. "Who are you? Where am I? I... I'm Ostara," she added a bit sheepishly, thinking it would be more polite to introduce herself before she pelted the stranger with questions.

OOC βΊ Aphelyon if Im correct they are by the sandy beach right? RP βΊThe silver tom took a step back to give her some space, but his gaze never leaving her. There was a minute of silence as the lilac she cat gazed at the tom, behind her exhausation he could see a curious and wonderous expression. The tom also wondered why she was looking at him that way, though he did note she was quite pretty. He had never seen her around before, I wonder where she comes from. He thought to himself, her raspy voice swished the though away and a sense of relief washed through him. "Oh good Im glad." He stated, with a warm tone. He smiled but it quickly vanished as the she cat started to panic, he took a step forward laying the tip of his tail on her shoulder. To hopefully calm and soothe her, "shh its okay." He paused removing his tail and during back down. "My name is Silas, and you are down stream from the town. I think this place is called the sandy shore." He nodded with a smile, he was pretty confident in knowing his location. He looked around them, the roaring ocean to their left. He glanced back down at her, "Are you hungry?" He asked curious, thinking that a quick bite might help her.

Ostara flinched a little at the touch, not out of fear but more out of surprise; she wasn't accustomed to being around another cat at all, let alone comforted by one. She tilted her head slightly at his explanation, not understanding many of the words he used, like "down stream" and "shore." Town, that she knew. "Oh, I live there!" she exclaimed, though the burst of speech made her cough once again. When it had subsided, she flicked her ear a bit awkwardly. "At least, I think so. I've never been out...side before," she admitted. Still, her eyes widened at his next question, and she couldn't help but lick her lips at the thought of the wet, canned food she was accustomed. Her belly was still full of river water, but it wasn't the kind of full that made her want to lie in the afternoon sun coming through the curtains. "Yes, I think I am. Is there food around here?" she asked, perking her head up and looking around. She couldn't smell any of the pungent aroma of canned meat, or see any cans for that matter. Her voice was still raspy, but it seemed that now at least she was beginning to come to her senses.

RP βΊ Silas was taken back by the she cat's flinch, thinking it was a bit strange. Could she be a kittypet. he thought, Silas had been a recuse; being born in the town. But his mothet lived on the outskirts, eating mice and voles. Until he was about 10 moons old, which is when they were caught and forced to be kittypets; although he still got to roam outside. The tom perked up when Ostara said she lived in the town, but she had a coughing fit right after. "Oh you live in town? So do I." He mewed with a chirp in his tone, but the she cat wasnt too sure. The tom hadn't realized when he asked if she was hungry that she might be a kittypet, who only eats canned or dry food. "Ahh Im sorry for getting your hopes up, there unfortunately isn't any wet food or dry food out here." He looked around licking his lips as well, "Just voles and birds." He tone was filled with desire. He knew he should get her home but he was curious, he gazed at her with friendly and curious expression which also showed in his tail. "Would you like to try some? Its really tasty!" He mewed enuthisastically.

Ostara tilted her head at the mention. "What's a vole?" She knew what birds were, as she had often watched them flitting about in the yard outside, and her claws itched to chase them, though she had never particularly felt the need to kill and eat one. Though, she did wonder if they tasted anything like the 'chicken' food her housefolk often gave her- they looked a little bit like the creature depicted on the cans, though not as round and plump. The other one that Silas mentioned, though, a 'vole,' that she had never heard of. Still, her belly was beginning to growl, and she thought she ought not to say no to the promise of food, in whatever strange form.

OOC βΊ Sorry I've been gone! It's been rough. RP βΊ The silver tom giggled a bit, then cleared his throat. "A vole is basically a field mouse." He smiled, He then perked up. A thought popping into his head, what if I just show her. He thought as he could feel the excitement of teaching her about this world. He gave the she cat a mischievous expression "I will be right back, don't move." He meowed with enthusiasm, turning and bounding away before the she cat could respond.
Although he didn't have to go very far as field mice were everywhere, he paused raising his muzzle to the sky and taking a deep breathe in. The cool breeze filled his lungs and after tasting the air for a few moments, the sweet scent of vole crossed his path, he followed it through the tall grass. Until he heard rustling in a near by berry bush, he dropped low. Keeping his tail from touching the ground as he silently padded forward. He watching as the vole nibbled on some berries occasionally looking up and checking it surroundings. But Silas was well hidden, he waited until he was only a few tail lengths away before pouncing. Leaping into the air he landed on the vole, giving it a killing bite to the neck. The mouse when limp in his mouth and he smiled in triumph, he stood up and quickly hurried back to Ostara.
It wasn't long before he had returned, the tom stopped just before the she cat and carefully place the fresh kill before her. He sat down, raising a paw to his muzzle and licking it he meowed in between licks. "This is a vole." He smiled and went back to grooming the blood from his claws and muzzle.

(Don't worry about it, it happens. Hope you're doing alright?)
Ostara's only familiarity with a mouse was in the small, colorful toys her housefolk gave her to play with, sometimes filled with or rolled in herbs that made her mouth water and made her want to play like a kitten (even more than usual, at least). So as Silas ran off, presumably to go hunt, she could only imagine the little pink and yellow toys frolicking across the meadows with the silver tom chasing behind. She wasn't sure how she felt about it. Regardless, she did as Silas said and stayed where she was- in fact, as he had asked, she didn't move at all. She only sat in place, looking around at the forest with wide eyes and listening to its sounds. Even compared to the streets of the town outside of her nest, the "outside" here was very strange and very unfamiliar. The air smelled.... fresher, and though the roaring of the water reminded her of monsters, it was gentler and more persistent. Almost soothing, even. In her exhausted state, by the time Silas had returned with the fresh-kill, the sounds of the river and the wind had begun to lull her to sleep on her paws, enough to where she only noticed that the wild cat had returned when he dropped the prey at her paws.
She tilted her head, leaning forward to look at the creature more closely. It was a bit similar to her toys, though its fur was dull gray-brown and its long, hairless tail was a little scaly. This one also had tiny little paws that her toys lacked. Obviously, she thought, chastising herself for not making the assumption. How else would they run away from cats? She was also a bit surprised at the food-smell that came from the animal, a little bit like the food from her cans, but not as strong and sweet. This was earthier and fainter, but it made her mouth water nonetheless. She leaned her head forward and quickly licked the vole's soft fur, but its pelt only tasted like dirt and grass, and she wrinkled her nose. Instead, she just stared at it for a few heartbeats, not sure how to 'open' it. She glanced at Silas, but didn't want to appear any more mouse-brained in front of her new friend by asking, so she finally reached out and grabbed the vole in her claws and messily shredded its fur. To her relief, this did reveal the meat underneath, which she began to scarf down happily, only pausing for a heartbeat with the first bite in surprise at the flavor. Like the scent, it was similar to her usual fur in that it was meat, but of an entirely different kind, and it wasn't drowned in sauces and other flavors. It was more subtle, but still pleasant - she wasn't sure yet if it was better, but it was good nonetheless. She eagerly downed the entire thing down to its fragile white bones before sitting back and licking her whiskers.
Oh, I should have offered some, she thought sheepishly as she looked back up at Silas. "Sorry, I didn't think to save any," she meowed, licking her chest with embarrassment. "It was very good, though."
(for a second I was like "how evil would I be if Ostara had been declawed though" but I was like naaah that's too much for the poor girl she's at enough of a disadvantage as it is lol)

OOC βΊ RP βΊ the black tom looked at the she cat confused, "Wait so in order to avoid confrontation you decided following me was the best way of doing that?" The tom cracked with laughter, "I'm sorry to break it to you, but that's exactly what's happened here." He meowed with a matter of fact tone, he stood up and padded to the edge of the stream and bent down, lapping a the icy cold water. It stung his lungs but was refreshing, he then looked back up, bringing his gaze to hers. "Where are yours?" He questioned her, remembering that he couldn't recall any of hers. "How can you call it yours when you haven't claimed it?" He asked, Any respectable cat would know not to cross one's borders. He looked around, and then up at the cat. Breathing for a moment before meowing again, "Look, there's a whole lot of space out here to share." He paused sitting down again and wrapping his tail around his paws, all hostility had passed but he was still alert and ready to attack if need be. "We can share can't we?" Drusilla huffed, ever so slightly, her demeanor changing to be more civilized. "Did I ever say we couldn't share? No. I did not...I only followed you to find where you made your home, and get a gauge for whether you where a danger to myself." She stated, her voice smooth, with a touch of arrogance. The silver she-cat looked past the tom, her attempt at seeming aloof. Much to the silver she-cat's surprise she found herself hoping the tom would cross the creek onto her side. Strange as it was, she felt herself slightly drawn to this almost-but-not-quite-annoying tom.

OOC βΊ Aphelyon This virus is boring me to death, I could not get the muse to come on in the past two week. Sorry it's so late!
Also omg that would be terrible, I mean she could become a permanent queen. RP βΊ Silas watched the she cat with curiosity, never actually have met a full kittypet before. All his kittypet friends venture outside, so to his delight it was a nice change. As his assumption had been correct, the lilac molly scarfed the mouse down to the bone in minutes, he giggled at her surprise and profound wonder at the small bundle of fur. He gave her a grateful dip of his head and smiled, "That is quite alright, I caught it for you. " he paused, feeling triumph that he new friend had like the meal he brought her. He raised a paw to his muzzle and started to lap at it, purring in between licks. "That is so good to hear." He looked looked up at the sky, noticing the pink and orange sky of a sun set. It was quite beautiful, it had became a tradition for him to come to the sandy beach which were warmed by the day's sun, and watch as the sun fell behind the horizon, listing to the soothing crash of the waves.
He looked back down at her, his nostalgic thoughts faded away as he got back to the mission at hand, "Well Ostara it looks like nightfall will hit us soon." he paused standing up. "How do you feel, strong enough to make the small journey back home?" His voiced was filled with slight concern but was mostly cheery.

Bane - 40 Moons - A lean, but hardy tom with pale blue eyes, a cream base and lilac points - Three words sum this cat up. Sharp, calculating, cold. He has a quick tongue and a sarcastic tone of voice that seems almost natural to him. He holds no compassion for those who do not earn his respect. If your an idiot, heβll go out of his way to tell you so, well humiliating you at the same time. βKilling two birds with one stoneβ is his specialty - Siamese - Rogue - (Hunnibun)
Hail - 32 Moons - Silvery white she-cat with monochrome blue eyes and leopard-like markings - Hail is a cunning and sly individual, able to get out of sticky situations with just a conversation. Hail has many useful traits, such as being able to hold and remember reports, being organized, and overall reliable with information. She's confident and quick with a comeback if you so choose to argue against her - Bengal - Loner - (Hunnibun)
Sterling - 28 Moons - A large, but lean tom with colorings of silver, grey and white swirling through his thick pelt. This is complemented with pale gold eyes - Calm. Cool. Collected. The three Cβs that sum up Sterling quite simply. He thinks as quickly as he is on his paws. Although he's never had a mate or kits of his own, he has advised others in a sensible, motherly manner. But, donβt let this mistake you, Sterling enjoys the sight of competition, it brings him joy to know others try for something- to have a purpose. Sterling is a very complex cat. Many consider him bipolar and find it hard to predict what mood he'll be in at any given point of the day. On a good day, he's sly, seductive, and his flirtatious words drip a sadistic, viciously sweet tone. On worse days, he's downright irritable, to put it lightly. Quick to snap at any who upset him, and impulsive. None know what truly goes through this tomβs mind, as he shares his internal thoughts with nobody. He refuses to put his faith or trust in anything or anyone, as he believes anyone has the ability to turn sides in a heartbeat. - Maine Coon - Loner - (Hunnibun)
Elisa - 21 Moons - A tall and thin she-cat with yellow-green eyes, ginger fur, and tabby stripes - Although she comes off as relatively lazy and laid back, she is quite adventurous and wants to take on the world. She is quite young, although that doesnβt stop her from exploring. Elisa wants more than her spoiled house cat life - Domestic Shorthair - Kittypet - (Hunnibun) ((~ There we go ~))

OOC βΊ They all look awesome! Welcome to The lost!
I will update you on the rogue plot, so the rogue group has already left their camp, following Liliana's trail but then it just stops, (this is where alistair, Lucian and now bane currently reside. Alistair sister Drusilla was with them but then finds out what Alistair is really up to, Instead of getting Liliana back, he plans on killing her and taking the kits rising them as his evil offspring and heirs to the rogue group. So Drusilla is actually closer to liliana and is right now interacting with leo which she will eventually be on the groups side (warning them of alistair), We are still in the process of everyone meeting and getting to know each other, and trying to get them into the group.

Violet had been having trouble sleeping lately, it was almost sundown and she was still wide awake. She rose to her paws from her makeshift nest and decided to go explore around the territory, Maybe the sunning rocks by the river will help me relax. She thought as she stretched her aching and stiff muscles. She looked up to the sky before setting off towards the river, Violet couldn't remember a time where she knew any different. Born in a alley of the town, this was her home and she knew it like the back of her paw. It was weirdly the most busy at night when all the two legs so go to bed and the neighborhood cats come out to explore, maybe I'll head over there in a bit, see if anything exciting is happening she thought as she made her way through the tall grass that surronds her nest.

Sterling's lowered his head, sunlight bathing his large figure. He wasn't in his normally choleric mood today, although that didn't mean he wanted to be social in any way. He tried to avoid other cats, as they only brought trouble. The tom flicked an ear lazily, and ran his tongue over his muzzle, his golden orbs searching the clearing around the rocks. Sterling started to run his tongue through his Ashen fleece, picking out bits of leaves, small twigs, and dirt. All this was due to his thick fur.
He decided to wait a little bit before getting up and going to search around for food in the town. He wasn't particuallary hungry at the moment, nor was he normally, considering he knew how to hunt and scavenge for his food. His silver pelt shone from it's grooming, and he intended to keep it that way.
