 Darksky{𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒂 ♡ & Camp}★━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━★ Darksky sat confidently with his black tail wrapped around his paws, he could feel the older warriors giving him confused looks, probably wondering why he was here, he actually didn't even know himself. He just met their gazes with a smile on his face and his expression was warm. He then turned his full attention to Peachstar who started the meeting, she started off with why she had brought him here. He felt pride course through his veins, feeling honored that he got to be the first. He was a little shocked when the she cat had mentioned Wrencrest as a replacement, he had only had a few interactions with her. She seemed like a honorable she cat, he nodded his head occasionally agreeing with some of the senior warriors input. He wasnt't too sure where or if he should even give his input, so he watched and observed quietly. Taking mental notes of how the meeting was going, and occasionally glanced at Peachstar. |

Smokepetal - Camp w/ Mothflutter (badfrog)
Smokepetal shifted around, finally getting into a comfortable position beside the other warrior. "Fine, how are you? It's a lovely day." She purred in response to Mothflutter's greeting, dipping her head and taking a bite from her food. It was a bit stale, considering it was probably sitting in the prey-pile all night, but it was satisfying enough for her empty stomach. She looked around camp, noticing a sort of excited energy among her clanmates. They were sitting around murmuring in groups, even looking towards Peachstar's den with anticipation. Reminded that she had woken up late and wondering if she'd missed something, her curiosity was stronger than her embarrassment. She turned her attention back to Mothflutter and addressed her, ears perking forward with interest. "Did something happen this morning?"

 ❀ Mothflutter ❀ ⇁ Camp. apricity. ↼Noticing the she-cat was giving a quick glance around camp, Mothflutter did the same. The ambiance of camp appeared more enthusiastic than it had been recently. The death of the previous deputy dampened the moral of everyone, Peachstar especially, and it hadn't felt the same since. But Peachstar's call for a meeting with the senior warriors spurred new life within the camp, and it brought a bright smile to Mothflutter's visage.
"Peachstar called a meeting with the senior warriors earlier," The warrior noted, almost with a purr. While she suspected that the new deputy had been chosen, she did not want to mislead Smokepetal or start any rumors within the clan. "That seems to have put everyone in a good mood, it shows hope of things returning back to normal." |

Smokepetal - Camp w/ Mothflutter
Ever since the death of the previous deputy, Smokepetal had done her best to stay positive and also keep her clanmates positive. It was a depressing time, especially with Peachstar's delay in choosing a new one, so she hadn't been too successful in keeping clan life lively. It felt really nice to see everyone in a good mood this morning. "Oh, that's wonderful!" She purred in response to Mothflutter, taking another couple bites of her prey as her gaze lingered on the leaders den. "Probably choosing a deputy, hm?" She suggested with a satisfied purr, wondering what else would require a meeting of the most experienced warriors at this time.

Echoriver's whiskers twitched with amusement. She shifted onto her side and laid her head down to rest on her paws. Her blue eyes watching their clanmates mill around the clearing with a curious glint. She let out a soft hum, "As long as we do our best," she meowed. There wasn't much chance for promotion once you become a warrior; however, to Echoriver, meeting personal goals was a thing. Like when she got her first apprentice? It was an exciting time. And then starting a family, it wasn't exactly planned but she did love her kits. They were going to make strong Bambooclan warriors one day.
Her gaze followed Ripplewhisker and her ears perked forward. "Oh?" she meowed and lifted her head to peek at the senior warriors filing in behind Peachstar. "That is good... it's felt like its been too many days," Echoriver meowed with a soft wince. Typically an deputy was appointed within a day of a late deputy passing. She hoped their ancestors weren't angry about the delay. |

"I believe so, but I don't suppose we'll know for sure until Peachstar makes a formal announcement to the entirety of the clan. Still, I wonder if it'll be one of the senior warriors, since they were the ones called into the meeting," Mothflutter said with an inquisitive tone before giving her pelt a brief cleaning. |

The young tom was padding across the mossy clearing. His tail twitching behind him as his green eyes flickered among the trees above him. He enjoyed being out in the jungle; it felt nice. His gaze flickered over the draping coves that hung from the cavern and wrinkled his nose. He wasn't playing to stay a nap here, Fernfrost had a plan and it was to get to the river. He had a hunger for fish... and he figured it wouldn't hurt to bring some back. Ravenwhisker might like some fish.
Slipping through the cove, the chocolate tom kept on moving. His green eyes brightened and his ears perked up as the rustling of the river become a louder and louder noise. Fernfrost unsheathe his claws as he scrambled across some river rocks to get to the bank. His green gaze instinctively looked around before crouching down to lap up some water. You never knew who or what was out in the jungle with you.
 pantherclaw camp
The long black tom was stretched out in a patch on sunlight among the main clearing of camp. He was lying on his side with his legs sprawled out with his sleek black fur shining in the warm sunlight. The older tom seemed content. His ears twitched as he heard Peachstar's call for the senior warriors, but that wasn't him so he was free to remain here and soak up the warm rays. He figured with the call, a deputy would be named shortly before nightfall and he would be issued on a patrol.
Pantherclaw swished his tail; however, the tom didn't pick up his head. It was obvious that he was awake even though his eyes remained shut while he relaxed.

[ 𝑓𝑜𝑥 ] The she-cat tilted her head to the side, as if considering saying more, but she didn't press on. "Okay! Just wanted to offer some help." Antskip replied cheerily. She was completely oblivious to Koipaw's irritation. She was only making observations. Unfortunately sometimes it seemed to come out rather blunt to some, and it probably made it worse that she was so cheerful and unaware of her actions. In due time hopefully the young warrior would learn to be more aware.
Antskip bobbed her head. "Yeah, it always comes back to me eventually." She commented. Her shot attention span caused her to forget what she was currently thinking if she was distracted by something else. A reminder or something to help prompt that train of thought again usually helped her to remember again. Her face scrunched at the mention of an injury. Was someone injured? No, she didn't think so... Oh right! Now she remembered! "I remember now!" The she blurted suddenly. Antskip blinked, realizing she might've been a bit loud. She then gave a sheepish look, glancing away and adding, "Heh, sorry about that.." She then focused her attention back to the medicine cat apprentice. "Beetleheart's been complaining about a stomachache. You have anything to help with that?" She finally asked. - - Ripplewhisker & Echoriver // Camp - -
[ Blaze ♡ ] The elder nodded her head sagely. "I agree," Ripplewhisker replied. "When there is a delay for such a decision, it can feel like a very long time." She turned her cloudy gaze to the leader's den. "But my best guess is the time has finally come. I am sure our ancestors will forgive her for that. I know I would." Being alive for as long as she had, the elderly she-cat knew it was easier to forgive than to fuss over something that in the end seems so small.
"Though now I suppose we could have a little fun playing a guessing game on who Peachstar will choose." Ripplewhisker said, cracking an amused smile. "I have a few guesses, but I'm curious on yours first deary." She looked back to the young warrior in question. |
