This arc
do you want Squirrelflight to die?
me?
No Shes my favourite still living character, I haven't clicked with the newers ones like her
also like
why have an entire book about her being between only to kill her off not even an arc away?
I want Squirrelstar, anyone else?

nO I want Squirrelstar or at least for her to have some peace and rest as an elder. What would be the point of making her revive only to kill her again a few books later?

Nope. I'd rather see her be an elder than dead in this arc.

I agree that it'd be better to see her as an elder or something and get to be around grandkits more and have an easy life. Her and Tawnypelt keep getting beat up. I think she deserves some relaxing days

No. She just had a whole SE where she literally REJECTS her death after fearing it for so long so to kill her off only a few books after such a development would make that SE pointless for said development. Instead let her retire, give her some fricking peace that doesn't involve death.

Not really, if she did die it would be the same in the sense that she had unfinished business before finally dying, like Hollyleaf. But I'd rather that not be the case, I want her to retire in peace though. After everything she's been through, she deserves rest.

Kind of...I want all of the cats from the New Prophecy Arc and before to go. But I also hope she has a chance to retire from the elder's den as well. Honestly, I'm tired of her, she's not even that great (at least not to me) and she keeps getting put in the forefront of pretty much every arc. I highly doubt she'll die, because she just had a huge death scare not too long ago, and it'd be kind of strange, if they just killed her off after that. However, if she were to die, I wouldn't mind.

I just really, really, hope that she doesn't die. She was my first absolutely favorite character, so I have this sentimental attachment to her. Power of Three was the first arc I read, and her personality was he first that stuck out to me, and the way the Erins never gave her peace. I just really don't want her to die, oof.

idk, cause im honestly sick of her and her generation (by far the most annoying one in the entire series) but i agree with her retiring even though i dont think that is the fate she is gonna get.
Also, how weird will it be with Cloudtail and Graystripe in the elders den... with Firestar's daughter?

Most elders are from the same generation and her retiring with them would be kinda weird. Like imagine you and your best friend's daughter both retired together.

It's not weird, and Graystripe is likely not going to make it to the end of the arc (I doubt Daisy will either, considering her novella). The elder den has had multiple generations before, especially when cats like Longtail are in there with cats like Purdy

Well yes ofc but if they were already elders, id just expect them to die by the time new elders come in... idk its ofc not impossible but it be unusual for me to see especially knowing how full of life Squirrelflight is

What I find strange about Squirrelflight, and not even being considered old yet, is that she's nearly TWICE as old as Whitestorm was, when he was getting ready to retire.
Also, I don't think it's that strange, considering that there's probably only like a two or three year age gap between Graystripe and Squirrelflight.

I'm not even sure, but I think she at least deserves to retire after this whole mess is over. She deserves to rest.

She was considered too old for kits when she had her first litter and the entirety of SqH is basically just her dealing with a midlife crisis, so there's that.

True, but she just doesn't seem old...it's the same with a lot of characters lol

Not in Crowfeather's Trial lol He was called a young leader, but I think he might have actually been OLDER than Onestar was when Onestar became leader, or at least around the same age.

I think by young leader it was meant that he was the latest one since CT is set not long after TLH, not that he was literally a young leader.

Onestar was about 7 years old...if that, when he became leader I think? Tallstar was about 10 when he died, he's like a year and a couple of months older than Mudclaw, and Mudclaw was shown as a warrior, and Onestar was shown as a kit at the same time in Tallstar's Revenge, which would put about a year between them This is just a rough estimation though. I don't know how old Bramblestar was when he became leader.

Well clearly both became leader when they were supposed to be old, elderly cats technically but Bramblestar was about 7 when he became leader as he was about a year and a few months younger than Firestar who was like 96-100 moons according to the warrior wiki (which i think is inaccurate but the best thing we got).
