Why does Daisy look like that? Why is she white? And why is Spotfur the only one who looks like a cat?

Why does Daisy look like that? Why is she white? She's not tho? Do you not see the cream color in her fur?

I was already looking forward to the Daisy and Blackstar novellas, but Spotfur getting the spotlight? Color me surprised. It's going to be interesting to read from her POV.
And why is everyone assuming Stemleaf dies? His apparent absence could mean he went with Graystripe on his journey. The battle is supposed to be destructive, but I don't think they are going kill off another major character so soon. I still think Stem or Spot will die by the end of the series though.
Since Berrynose has basically been confirmed to survive the battle, I have a sneaking suspicion that Rosepetal will die in the battle. Think about it. She is an important mother figure and confidant for Bristlefrost. She is Daisy's daughter, which could play into the novella. And she is easily one of ThunderClan's best fighters. Losing her would be a serious blow for the Clan. That's killing three birds with one stone. Development for Bristle, an inciting incident to kick off DK, and furthers the impact of the VOS battle.

I was shocked as well. Spotfur is still more of a side character and even though she'll obviously play an important role in the next book, it is still a surprise for her to get novella. I can't wait to see things from her perspective!

Both she-cats here look very very feminine for some reason. Like the artist must've made an effort to have them look as feminine as possible lol

Might as well put makeup on them lol.
Also I still haven't gotten over Bluestar looking like a blue Yellowfang on the new Bluestar's Prophecy cover.

I hate it when artists give female animals "feminine" features they wouldn't realistically have bc they think the audience is stupid and can't tell they're girls ig? i can forgive it if all the animals are humanized but it cases like this it's just annoying and yeah the older art they did wasn't as bad. idk why they started doing this

I kinda find it funny because looking at the art for this cover all I see are flippin' eyelashes. It actually makes me laugh. I mean, c'mon now, anyone who has read Warriors knows that Daisy is a female without having to emphasize this.
