This was a cool article, I like how they mentioned that apprentices don't travel to the moonstone anymore, but I guess in this case, it would be the moonpool. I wonder what the new practices are though?
I also love the artwork, especially of the one of Firestar I'm guessing, and the other cat. The brown cat looks COMPLETELY ticked off, and Firestar(?) just looks completely done with his crap. His eyes are totally saying, "You're a little peasant to me, you rat."

I think they captured the later dynamic between those two perfectly lol

What do you guys think will be the rare way the Clans confront change? What change? Judging by this current arc, probably the warrior code. Each notion has been essentially unchallenged and unchanged since it was added. Considered it's been in Clan history for several generations, I think some will probably be reluctant to change it around despite how flawed it is.

Get RID of "The Leader's Word is Law" immediately after this mess is done.
I shouldn't have to explain the reason why either.

I shouldn't have to explain the reason why either. Agreed. BUT the problem with removing this is that more chaos can occur in a Clan, say over disputes and differences of opinion

BUT the problem with removing this is that more chaos can occur in a Clan, say over disputes and differences of opinion I think that clans should take a vote for the super important things, kind of like they did in the ancient times, when they cast stones, rather than letting ONE guy make the choice for EVERYONE, even if that choice is completely terrible. Do you know how many lives could have been saved without that stupid law? All of the kits who died during Brokenstar's reign, those ShadowClan cats who caught Yellowcough during Onestar's reign, etc.

I shouldn't have to explain the reason why either. This, or alter it heavily so terrible leaders like Brokenstar or the impostor can't twist or abuse it. I know Firestar used it a handful of times, but it was mainly to stop arguments within the Clan itself.

I think the leader's word is law rule could be modified instead of getting rid of it completely. Maybe the leader's word is law unless it goes against another part of the code. And I think casting stones would be a cool idea, too.

If he's the guy I'm thinking about, I thought he was actually nice, and I felt bad for him. Was he the one who refused to go into battle with another clan, because he was tired of fighting, and his clanmates got all ticked off at him for it? Or something like that?

Okay. :3 He gave land to ThunderClan since they had queens with many kits and his deputy challenged him. It was controversial.

I found out who I was thinking about, this guy called Morningstar from Battles of the Clans.

I thought his name would have been something basic like Cloudpelt or Cloudfur

There was Hailstep Heatherstep was apparently the warrior name of Heatherstar. I think it's funny, that they were leaders at the same time, and had such similar names. Imagine if all the leaders of that time had the same suffixes Hailstep, Heatherstep, Pinestep, Cedarstep. (some sound weird) Though, Pine and Cedar are both evergreen trees, so that's really cool. Imagine if all the leaders at the same time had the same prefixes XD It could have been a reality in the future for at least two leaders, if Crowfrost didn't die.
