What are some character designs you find odd or just flat-out dislike?

Ashfoot, because they could have given her darker feet like Emberfoot, and made her his mom, and him Crowfeather's littermate. Just kidding, that would have been cool though I think.
For real though,
I guess Blizzardwing, because what on earth is a mottled white cat? How does that even work? If the only color on him is white, how can he be mottled? I'm confused. His picture on the wiki is very pretty, but I don't get it.

Sol's canon design is a little...odd. He has so many mentions of his description and conflicting sources as to what he actually looks like.

Sol
I'm also not a fan of Dovewing's design due to the eyes thing.

I figured Brambleberry could just be a silver spotted tabby though. Silver tabbies with high enough color contrast can look almost white.

I always thought Brambleberry looked nice oof. Me, too...haha. I love her description and seeing peoples' drawings/interpretations of her design. Genetically speaking, it makes no sense, but I always think she sounds gorgeous, tbh.

I do like brambleberry as a character tbh and her design could be nice if it was interpreted more as a weird white spotting pattern, I just find the mental image of a Dalmatian cat hilariously stupid

Finleap. Sasha. All the cats they forgot to give masks despite them being blatant pointed cats

Well, pointed cats always do have masks, and your cat seems to be a lynx point - the tabby markings around her face is probably her mask. Masks don't always have to be darker than the rest of the cat in case of lynx points. Or your cat could just be a regular dappled tortie tabby, not entirely sure. I'm not necessarily an expert on genetics.
Point is (no pun intended), Blackstar, Sasha, and Finleap should have masks, since they are pointed (or seem to be), but they don't in terms of designs.

ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs My cat is a kind of pointed cat, and she doesn't have a mask What the person above said. If your cat is pointed but with tabby marks, it's probably likely her "mask" IS the tabby marks. It's called a tabby/lynx point. :P

ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜsThat's a good point lol, Blackstar's a pointed cat? I guess that makes sense, since he has black paws, but his tail isn't, I just thought he was some black and white cat, with weird white spotting. BrindlefernThat makes sense It's a bit strange, because I once had another lynx-point cat, who looked like the traditional lynx-point I guess you could say. She had a white body, a darker tabby tail, darker tabby legs, and tabby markings on her face...and then you have my current cat, who is...hard to describe lol, I usually just called her a brown tabby with a black tail, but I think lynx-point works better. Here is lynx-point kitty one: And here's lynx-point kitty two: It's kind of cool, how they look so different, yet also really similar lol
