Beetle / Viper Falconwing & Poppy : Heather Hollow Disappointment glimmered in Beetle's gaze at Viper's news. But he had learned that she was indeed from this area, and well accustomed to living in this territory. So far, she didn't seem hostile to him, which was the most important detail he perceived. If she was higher up in survival around these parts, and not opposed to keeping him around, he might just be in some luck for a moon or so. Besides, the silent cat that tagged along behind her seemed only half his age, surely Viper couldn't be too cutthroat, or she certainly would have shown more teeth by now.
Her sudden flash into a different emotion startled him for a second. Seeing as he had only just noticed it himself this morning, Beetle hadn't yet prepared a cunning reason for the oddly precise pattern. For once, he was at a loss for words. "A star?" he repeated after her. Was it so obviously the star he suspected it to be? Had he not merely associated the symbol with his curious starry dream? "I got it- it was just...there." He paused, and ventured to admit, "Since this morning."
Poppy didn't know what to make of the small cat that spoke on end about his reasons for being where he was. When Beetle spoke, his voice startled her a bit, as it sounded so much older than his size suggested him to be. The star! She spied it to, and waited upon his reply eagerly to Viper's questioning. So overcome with excitement of the destiny of it all, she blurted after he had finished, "It's just like yours Viper, this morning!"

In Wild Woods - Hunting Upon seeing the orange and black tom carelessly bumble about, the tom stood up and desperately tried to catch a dove. He managed to catch a wing of one as it attempted to fly away. Sinking his teeth into its neck, Lost killed his prey with ease. However, this did not cease the tom's irritation. Golden eyes filled with agitation bored straight into the back of the loner's head as he walked away. "Hey!" he called, anger tearing at his voice. "How about you try not to scare all the prey in the forest, mouse brain! There are others here who would like to eat!"

In Grasslands - Old Badger's Den - with Stag and Toad (NPC)
"Thank you," she purred, looking up at the sorrel tom. "Hold still, Toad." The calico molly began placing the poultice she had made inside his wounds, causing her patient to wince and groan. "I'm almost done," she whispered gently, still pushing the poultice where it needed to be. As she finished with that step, she grabbed the cobwebs hanging from her mate's mouth and tail, placing them over the brown tom's wounds. Toad hissed as she pressed down the webbing to secure her poultice. When she completed her task, Sage stepped backward almost admiring her work. Her odd gaze turned back towards Stag. "You got his herbs gathered into manageable piles right?" she asked. She had her entire attention on Toad that she had yet to notice the neatly piled herbs behind her.

•¤Scorch¤• The Wild Woods || Dawn Voidastral & Lost calliope Scorch had been so focused on the hunt that he didnt even notice the other toms presence until he had begun to growl at him. He was about to respond to Dawn but the young tom flinched at the unexpected harsh words that were directed his way. Whipping around wide eyed he laid eyes on upon a dark brown and black marbled tom who's size surpassed his own. Instantly he felt defensive against the stranger and Scorchs mottled pelt fluffed out. "Looks like you faired just fine", the tom puffed as he indicated to the strangers own dove that lay at his paws. Casting an unsure look to Dawn Scorch wondered if the shecat would leave him to sort this out himself or if she would stand by him and aid if need be. For a second he began to rethink his rebuttle, he knew that he could not take on this older tom alone. •》Stag《• The Grasslands - Old Badgers Den || Sage calliope & Toad NPC "Ah yes!" Turning he pointed with his paw to separate piles that lay neatly behind Sage and he cast her a playful narrow glance, as if to tease her for not noticing them. Stag then dutifully gave Toad instructions on how to maintain his wounds and that if they were to flare up again that he should take the reserve lavender and marigold. Once finished he turned back to his mate. "We should get going, I'd like to reach the treeline by nightfall at the latest." Moving towards the exit of the den he added. "Farewell my friend, stay alive and stop trying to fight dogs", a small chuckle escaped him as he mentioned the dogs. The entire reason why poor Toad was in this mess. Exiting the den he then waited for Sage to give her farewells before they were on their way. •◇Viper◇• The Grasslands - Heather Hollow || Poppy & Beetle Stealthfire Viper was in absolute astonishment and stepped closer to Beetle to gaze at his mark. When Poppy chimed in mentioning it was just like her own mark Vipers tail lashed back and forth before settling it tip on the mark on her shoulder. Turning she revealed her star shaped mark to Beetle, her green eyes piercing the young toms pelt. "This morning you say? .... Did you happen to had a dream filled wish visions and prophecy?" Viper dared to speak of her dream. She just had to know if he too shared the same dream as her.

Beetle / Viper Falconwing & Poppy : Heather Hollow The smaller she-cat's sudden comment confused him. He shirked away slightly at Viper's imposing frame stepping closer to his mark, until she turned, and her shoulder was made visible to him for the first time. Beetle wrinkled his nose a little at her fantastical question. "That's ridiculous," he said at first, but it was too late. At last, his mostly forgotten dream burst back into his waking mind. Stars, Grass, a voice he didn't recognise- a face came to him. A sand cat, there was no mistaking it, but more ancient than any sand cats he knew. "I dreamed of a different life," he meowed, "I don't know about prophecies, or visions...but I saw a different world. The same as our own. But different." He wasn't making much sense even to his own ears, but it was the only way that Beetle could explain the knowledge he suddenly possessed.

Dawn The Wild-woods - Scorch ( Falconwing), Lost ( calliope) Dawn's eyes settled on their new company. Ah, a forest cat. She didn't say much of anything in reply, but her pelt did puff up, and her posture re-perfected. She was prepared for a fight if one was to be had. Scorch likely wouldn't last long without her help. And this was nothing against him, fighting just wasn't a strong suit for the tomcat. Until that time came, she'd keep quiet. This other tom hadn't addressed her and she wasn't about to butt in and risk even more of a fight. If the forester felt like the two were getting aggressive towards him, or even backed into a corner, he could launch an attack.

In Grasslands - Old Badger's Den - with Stag and Toad (NPC)
Sage rolled her eyes with a smile at her mate's antics. As Stag said his goodbyes and stepped out, the mutlicolored she-cat gave a gentle lick to the Toad's forehead. To her, it was a reminder for them to stay well. "Goodbye, Toad," she spoke. "Don't forget to make sure you eat something!" She pointed her paw to a small but reasonable fresh-kill pile they had made for the now-healing tom. Sage dipped her head and walked out of the den, peering upwards. "Well, if you want to get there by nightfall, we might want to start moving," Sage stated, beginning her lead towards the faint forest tree-line. "I sure hope he makes it, Stag," she whispered just loud enough for mate to catch.

In Wild Woods - Hunting "Had anyone been smaller than me, they wouldn't have fared so well, would they?" Lost retorted, his fur making him appear even more massive. "Maybe learn how to catch a bird without scaring them all off! Or maybe, just don't catch birds at all!" He stood his ground, but upon seeing the tom's body language, his intimidation was enough to push his point across without the need for a fight. Honestly, the big tom wanted nothing to do with a fight. He had noticed the she-cat only just seconds ago, but she remained quiet. Lost figured they were friends of some sort, maybe an older sister?
