@/anyone In Wild Woods - Hunting Lost wandered through the forest, not realizing how far he had gone. He could smell the upwalkers that had visited the campsite not too long ago. "Ugh!" he spat. Lost hated that scent more than anything. All those upwalkers did was pollute around the camp, and it made eating some of the squirrels nasty. As the dark tom padded along and away from the campsite, he felt the cooler breeze brush along his pelt. Though still a decent way out, the tom knew he would be coming to the Highlands soon. "Maybe I can catch a bird or two to eat," he asserted aloud.

calliope Sunny perked his ears hearing a cat announce their desire for a catch. Well, well, a visitor, he mused and slinked out of his tree hollow silently and stretched, his bones cracking slightly. He then slid over the logs and down the small hill, landing on a soft patch of moss. He could smell the cat that had passed by here and with a flicker of interest, set on following the stranger.

Poppy felt her heart skip happily as Viper moved to meet her, and seemed rather pleased with her presence. All signs pointed to Viper being in an allowing enough mood to let Poppy follow her adventures today. Today, she'd follow Viper, and maybe some of the she-cat's confidence would inspire Poppy to finally take off on her own, away from her family. Maybe, but likely not, as Poppy was deep down always frightened of change, no matter how uninviting her current accommodation was. "How have you been? I heard about Whisp, I'm sorry, I know how close you were." Poppy was a sensitive soul, and genuinely felt sorrow to hear of anything unfortunate befalling Viper. Her mind was distracted however when Viper drew close, as the perceptive younger she-cat saw an unmistakable new splotch of white on the solid black she-cat. "What's happened there?" She circled round and peered more closely at the darker she-cat's shoulder. "Have you always had that?" she asked, knowing the answer already. "This white spot here. A star shaped thing."

Beetle / : Sandy Dunes → Grasslands Beetle tossed and turned, not able to return to sleep out of thirst. By now, the rain had probably dried up entirely, too dry to even dig it back to the surface. Assessing his options, it was clear that Beetle needed to change locations, a move that always meant a period of great risk to the unpopular loner. He thought of the sea, though that had many powerful cats along the shore, who hogged all of the good fishing. The upwalker village was somewhere Beetle wouldn't go even at his most desperate, with nowhere to dig to hide and no knowledge of avoiding the terrifying contraptions of the upwalkers.
When Beetle tried to think of a good choice of dune to direct himself to, all that lay in his mind was grass. When he pictured the sand plains, they were the same shape, but covered in green. He flashed back to his dream, which he had avoided since discovering his star-splotched chin. Grass plains, sloping hills that he knew well, but covered in lush blades and flowers. He knew there was so much more in that dream, and faces he didn't recognise, voices he didn't know, but for now all that he could recall was grass.
Beetle rolled over to his paws and sighed. Fine. Now was as good a time as any, during the blazing day before the other loners emerged at night. If he moved fast, his black pads could skate along the hot sands until he reached...grass? He had never gone past when the grass began to dot through the dunes to the west. If there was grass, there was probably water, and that was all he needed now. Emerging from his cavern once more, he squinted his eyes at the sun. No time to scrape for prey, they were all hiding in cool damp caverns anyway. He began to run.
Beetle's legs began to ache, but he didn't dare stop for fear of the sand scorching his pads. He tried his best to stretch his short frame, to spend as much time away from the ground as possible. After what seemed like moons, small prickles of green spotted through the sand. For all the thirsty, starved tom knew, he was in a dream once more. He could only push onward. Not long after, new feeling ground pressed into his paws. Beetle dared to stand still finally, almost collapsing with exhaustion. Soft, damp feeling ground. He was past where he had ever been before. Desperately, he started to dig downward, until the damp dirt gave way to a small puddle of groundwater. Only pausing a mere second to scent the air for predators, Beetle lapped greedily at his watering hole.

•◇Viper◇• Stealthfire The young shecats warm greeting helped soothe Vipers uneasy state. With so much on her mind, the recent events of her dream and the loss of a great friend, the black molly was grateful to Poppys distracting presence and looked down kindly to the younger female. At the mention of Whisp, Vipers heart skipped a beat, the wound within still raw, and she lowered her head. "Thank you... atleast i still have one friend left", she mewed hinting that she considered Poppy as a friend. Starting to walk back up the hill twitching her tail for Poppy to join her she was caught by surprise at the comment about her pelt. "Huh?" She meowed unsure of what Poppy was talking about. Turning her head around to look at her shoulder she found a white star-shaped mark just like the tabby described. "It can't be!", she exclaimed fur prickling. Instantly the visions of her dream came rushing back into her mind and she took a step back looking to her friend in awe. "I thought it was just a dream...." trailing off she looked back at the mark. "Many steps must be taken, find the dreamers chosen. A star will light the way, and once the four become one will a path be revealed." Viper quoted the words of her dream aloud. "This must be the star he was talking about". Finally things were starting to connect in her mind. Did this mean that there were four cats total with the same mark as her?

Poppy padded alongside Viper obediently. She was warmed to hear her call her a friend, and delighted even further to know that she could be a source of comfort to Viper, not just a burden. Poppy was understandably taken aback by Viper's reaction to her comment. The black she-cat seemed to be distant for a moment, lost in her mind within something Poppy was utterly unaware of. "A dream? What's going on with you? Who are you talking about?" Poppy wanted to know everything about Viper's cryptic sentences. She bounded along to keep up with her, Poppy's own long legs still shorter than the larger black she-cat.

•◇Viper◇• Stealthfire As she rambled on Viper completely forgot that Poppy had no context to base the current conversation upon. Only when Poppy spoke up questioning thing did she stop her pacing and face the younger feline. "Poppy, now I know what Im about to tell you is going so sound... well just absolutely insane, but I swear to you it is the truth." Sitting down, Viper began with the dream. Going into great depths and expressing how she personally interpreted it. All the words just poured out so fast she barely had time to breath. "When I woke up it all just felt so surreal, echoing in the back of my mind. I thought it was just an odd dream derived from the loss of Whisp... but it seems as if it was much more than that. Do you think our ancestors could have really chosen me for something like this? ... This is stupid.. I'm just hungry and need to put this all behind me and fill my belly", shaking her head she tried to dismiss it all. Poppy probably didnt believe it at all, and now thought her as some food deprived kook. cowbird I can have Scorch bump into any of your characters of you'd like

Dawn The Wild-woods - Scorch ( Falconwing ) Luckily for Scorch, Dawn too was headed into the wild woods. She'd caught her first prey already, out among the taller yellow grasses. It'd been a mouse, which she'd now laid to rest in the dirt. The coon had made it a habit to bury her meal after finishing it. Perhaps to pay some kind of respect for it being food. Honey eye's watched the world around them pass, taking in any visual movement, hears alert. The sun rose behind her as she stalked westward into the woods and out of the yellow grasses and rocky terrain of home. Familiar, airy smells turned to rich wooden and wet scents. The woods weren't soaked by any means but with the increased shade, they stayed damp. It played with her ability to smell and her pelt stood out sorely, which are two reasons she didn't particularly enjoy the place. But, food is food, and there is prey to be caught.

@/anyone In Wild Woods - Hunting The large dark tom padded along the route he had taken so many times before, enjoying the beauty of nature around him. His instincts warned him, however. Lost felt like he was being watched, but chose to ignore it, figuring it might be some squirrel or doe hanging around nearby. As the tom continued, he paused and sniffed the ground. The corners of his lips pulled up into a small smile. "Smells like a rabbit ran by here, not too long ago," he whispered to himself. He decided he would follow the trail that the scent left. He stalked quietly as he moved, sensing the trail getting fresher and fresher. He slowed his movements down, taking each step with careful thought.

Scorch Voidastral (Lets have them run into Lost after they meet up ) Just ahead Scorch could see the treeline, all he needed to do was make it across the last bit of down hill venture before he was under the cover of the Wild Woods. Carefully picking his way down his deep amber eyes caught movement just ahead of him. To his delight, it was the familuar pelt of Dawn just entering into the woods. Quickly he called out to her lifting his voice hoping the wind carried it directly to her. Pace quickening the bulky tom trotted down the rest of the way his plush pelt bouncing as he went. Hopefully he cause catch her before she went too deep into the woods for him to find her. "Dawn!", he called out once more hoping that as he rapidly drew closer she would hear him and stop so he could catch up.

Sage Name: Sage Age: 30 moons Gender: Female Rank: Healer ┏━༻❁༺━┓ Personality ┗━༻❁༺━┛ Sage is a humble and sweet she-cat with an extraordinarily caring nature. She is very eager to help anyone and anything that is in need, which often gets her in trouble. She is very strong willed when she believes and/or cares about something. However, sometimes she questions if she has said or done the right thing and occasionally needs validation. Due to her hard-working nature, she tends to neglect herself in even the most basic ways such as herself, needing to be reminded that even the healer needs to take care of herself. ┏━༻❁༺━┓ Lineage ┗━༻❁༺━┛ Cats featured here can be NPCS unless another member wishes to make one, ask if you’re curious or make them NPCs, dead or missing.
Mother: Willow (NPC/Alive) -black and orange short-haired tortie with bright blue eyes Father: Spider -Black and white splashed tom with medium length fur and golden eyes Siblings: Dusk -Dark grey tom with medium fur and blue eyes. Moss -Black, grey, orange and white splashed tortie with short fur and gold eyes Mate: Stag FalconwingKits: None ┏━༻❁༺━┓ History ┗━༻❁༺━┛ Sage was born into a small “clan” of loners, along with her siblings Moss and Dusk. Her parents, Willow and Spider, were the healers among this clan, often treating those suffering green cough or wounds that non-clan members and clan members alike would travel to get healed. As soon as Sage’s eyes became their permanent color, her parents knew that StarClan* had sent them their prophetic healer, believing in a prophecy once told by her grandmother. Her grandmother was the previous healer of the clan. She had told Willow and Spider that their daughter was sent to rid an illness that would soon plague the loner camp. However, she warned them that she could be led astray by fire surrounding grass and water. Thinking nothing of it at the time, they were quick to teach the small tortoiseshell she-cat the ways of healing. They showed her herbs and places to find them within each territory, seeing as the “clan” moved around a lot to avoid confrontation of others that may claim the territory. Their prophesied day had come, the clan had fallen ill with green cough, and every loner within their area piled into the camp to be treated. Sage and her family were hands on deck. One day, Sage had offered to retrieve a large portion catnip to their near empty supply. While out, the she-cat came across a russet tom passed out in the forest. She immediately felt called to help him. Finding enough catnip to cure the next batch of patients, she sat the herbs on his pelt and pulled the tom back to camp. Sage placed him in her den and nursed him back to health. When he woke up, she noticed his eyes were similar to hers. It wasn’t hard to see why this pretty she-cat fell in love with the handsome tom. As their relationship grew, the tom, whom she knew as Stag, asked her to come with him on his travels. Sage wanted to, and told her parents she needed to leave. Finally understanding the prophecy that Sage’s grandmother spoke of long ago, Willow and Spider prevented her from leaving, taking advantage of her pushover tendencies. They claimed that the whole camp would die if she left. Going up to the tom himself, Spider told Stag that they see no need for such a frivolous lifestyle and that it was no place for his daughter. They didn’t allow Sage to see Stag go, causing the she-cat to be heartbroken. The she-cat threw herself into her studies, and finally built up the courage to leave the camp and her family. She became a travelling healer hoping to see Stag once more, but often thinking of the worst. After many moons, a russet tom appeared in her view. Delighted to see her mate once more, Sage rushed to greet him. They have now been inseparable since, travelling around and healing others. ┏━༻❁༺━┓ Character Statistics ┗━༻❁༺━┛ {Kits and young apprentices should have low stats. Make sure your cat’s stats match their physical descriptions and personalities. 9’s and 10’s across the board will be rejected. These are all required fields.} Fighting: 6/10 Speed: 7/10 Agility: 7/10 Stamina: 7/10 Swimming: 7/10 Climbing: 7/10 Hunting: 8/10 ---- Empathy: 8/10 Knowledge: 7/10 Problem-solving: 6/10 Charisma: 8/10 Loyalty: 7/10 Integrity: 7/10 Leadership: 7/10 ---- Strengths: Has a strong sense of smell, making it a breeze to find herbs and prey. Very knowledgeable with herbs. Weaknesses: She is generally a pushover, always offering to help whoever and whatever. She sometimes has a problem speaking up when she has an issue. ┏━༻❁༺━┓ Appearance ┗━༻❁༺━┛ Sage is an average sized she-cat with longer legs. Her short fur consists of black, white, and light orange splashes all over her pelt, giving her the classic “tortie” look. She has a white chin and throat along with stocking marking on her back legs. Her nose and paw pads are black. She has one green eye and one blue eye

Dawn The Wild-woods - Scorch ( Falconwing ) Dawn hadn't stepped even twice into the woods before Scorch found her. Not that he was too much of an annoyance, he'd been one of the only cats who'd stuck with her. Admittedly, his friendship meant a lot to Dawn. However, she never really understood why he was so attached to her, Ledge was much more around his age. They were even rather similar in personality from time to time. Dawn shrugged, that was something to consider another day. The yellow tabby slowed to a stop and turned towards Scorch's voice "Hey Scorch," she started, "What're you doing all the way out here?"

Poppy watched and listened to Viper, wide-eyed and entranced. When Viper asked her to speak, she was unprepared, and rather unsure of a response to descriptions of things so fantastical she had never imagined them in her shorter life. "It sounds so real. And if you still remember it, how can it be like any other dream you've had before?" She felt her own stomach growl ferociously, last night was once again an instance where her sisters felt less than inclined to share with her. "Let's eat, and if you still think it means something, we'll figure out what to do then." Poppy was a scavenger mainly, as hunting in her area was mostly picked dry by older or more talented cats like the rest of her family. With just the two of them though, she fancied her chances a bit better, so long as they ran a little ways first.

Viper The Grasslands -> Heather Hollow - Poppy Viper sighed in relief when Poppy, in a way, seemed to agree with her. Atleast she didn't think her crazy, and that there was a sound mind behind the dream. At the mention of eating the black she-cat straightened up, nodding in agreement. "You're right. Lets eat, and maybe after my belly is full things will begin to make more sense." Scenting the winds and testing their directions Viper then faced East. "Lets head towards the Sandy Dunes. Just before the sands begin is a rich dip in the land. Usually water pools up at the bottom and prey gathers in the area. I like to call it Heather Hollow" Taking the lead Viper then started for the dip in the land, waving her tail in a friendly manner for Poppy to follow. 《Maybe they can run into Beetle at Heather Hollow.》 [/div

Scorch Voidastral Tall ears pricked up and paw stopped moving when Dawn turned to acknowledge him. A quick short purr escaped him, happy that she heard his call. Without wasting another second the tom rushed forth, bounding to the females side. When he finally reached Scorch was panting, almost out of breath. Taking in a deep breath and holding it he did his best not to reveal how winded he was, but it was too hard to hide and he had to release. "Ah I had no luck hunting in the Highlands, so I thought I'd give it a go under the cover of the forest." Taking a second to try and catch his breath once more he peered into the forest ahead of them. "What about you? Why are you heading into dark woods alone?" Without allowing jer the time to answer he puffed out his chest and lifted his chin high. "Allow me to accompany you, just in case you run into any trouble."

[Heather Hollow sounds good, I'll say Beetle is still there drinking so he doesn't notice them]
"Heather Hollow. That's a good name for it. If you say there's prey there, I'm ready!" Poppy replied optimistically. Taking quicker steps to match Viper's strides, the tabby glided alongside her darker companion. At this point in her hunger, she hoped her stomach growls wouldn't frighten away all the prey in the grasslands. Poppy had gone so far as to try insects the other day, but found they did little to quell her hunger. With her sisters surrendering food to her less and less often, maybe her mother was right. She should leave if she hoped to survive, but go where? Poppy didn't know a lot in her relatively few moons of life, but she was certain there were cats even fiercer than her kin beyond their side of the grasslands. Soon, she felt the hill beneath them decline. This must be the dip Viper mentioned.

Viper The Grasslands: Heather Hollow - Poppy & Beetle Viper was somewhat please with herself when Poppy voiced that she approved of the naming of Heather Hollow. It wasn't often that she in any way was praised, and she cast a warm look back to Poppy as they swiftly traveled to the agreed upon location. With the sun rising, the temperature rose with it. Thankfully the sky was filled with large fluffy grey clouds, keeping the sun from beating down upon her black pelt. Casting a close look and sniffing the air, Viper wondered if maybe the greying clouds would just simply pass over or release a soft shower upon them. Either way, she was grateful the weather was not extream today. Finally the flat land of the grasslands began to turn into rolling hills and just up ahead Viper recognized the familiar dip in the land. Slowing to a steady stalk the lean black shecat dwished her tail to Poppy signaling that she was moving into hunting mode. As the land began to slip downwards the pair descended into Heather Hollow and began their hunt. Almost instantly a plump field mound darted in front of them. Viper, quick as a flash cut it off and sent it scurrying straight for Poppy. "Get it!", she hissed lowly trying not to reveal their position to any other potential meals.
