Death has befallen RidgeClan, however expected the blow has been heavy but the aftermath will ricochet throughout the clan and render its future bloody. Now at our head is a wolf in a sheep's disguise, the face of a friend corrupted by a darkness like nothing the clan has ever seen before. For his reign will bring newfound darkness to the clan, and by the time anyone realises it there is little left to be done. Most too scared to fight back, and others more than delighted with this new regime. Implementing a war against the stars themselves, RidgeClan finds themselves beneath the reign of a conniving creature intent on bringing the clan into glory, no matter the sacrifices made along the way. With loved ones falling at every turn and war rendering a once strong clan broken and in ruins, future extinction seems inevitable. Even the stars have abandoned us. But as a last resort before falling silent, a prophecy will be howled from the stars themselves. The promise of saviours to come, but it soon seems that their promises have come too late. RidgeClan will soon learn that nothing can last forever - as even the Stars can fall. ONE: General Rules. Always follow the rules of the forums, if you are ever uncertain remember to either ask or check the following link.
TWO: Activity. Constantly being on is by no means a necessity, I do ask that those joining as central characters be on at least 3 days a week.
THREE: Plagiarising. Seemingly an increasing trend, the theft of any character, coding or anything else without permission will not be tolerated.
FOUR: Literacy. The minimum expectation is to be able to write at least 6 lines per character in every post.
FIVE: Characters. Please no Mary Sues, whilst I don't ask you to kill every cat every minute, but no cat can never be injured/become ill.
SIX: Joining. When you first join do so with at least two characters, and have only one apprentice for every two of other ranks made.
SEVEN: Bloodlines. Not mandatory, but potentially where cats from different members share traits create family ties for clan development fun.
EIGHT: Drama. No limit (within reason) if you have fun ideas feel free to implement them with others! Just don't kill anyone (too often). Character Image. (Put this under spoilers at your own risk) Character's Name, Your cat's description, aiming to make it at least six lines long and ensuring to include physical appearance and their personality. You can include history but only where relevant, and bare in mind cat's with rogue/kittypet etc, backgrounds aren't allowed in the clan due to the isolated nature of the clan. Screenname Rank Relationships Anything else, i.e. role requests, ideas, etc.

The mountains that make our home does little to nurture and gift, thus the cats that live on these lands are hardy by nature. Larger cats are common amid RidgeClan, or at least cats of athletic build if not overtly large. Much of our lives involves climbing and traversing great spaces, thus it doesn't fit well to be as muscular as a mouse. Thick coats marked with darker colours are common, but not as much as a set rule as size tends to be for our population, as the diverse nature of the clan's territory offers advantage to both lighter and darker shades within our cats. Additionally, we have adapted so that our paw pads tend to be quite thick, to prevent injury from walking across the rocky territory. Much of our lives and beliefs surround the Aurora Borealis which graces our skies. It is the belief of RidgeClan that upon death, our spirits join the beautiful colours of the natural phenomenon, and it is from here that the ancestors observe the cats they loved and left behind. Though there are other means of connecting with StarClan, it is quite the celebrations on nights where the colours burn in the skies, and kits born those nights are considered very lucky and sometimes revered to an extent. Some going as far to say that these kits are ancestors reborn.
Cobweb Caves. An arachnophobe's utter nightmare, a small corridor was naturally carved into part of the mountainside, but for what seems like decades went untouched by anything but spiders. As a result, the caves have become borderline infested with the creatures, rendering much of the walls all but covered in the sticky material which merely intensifies the further one journies. Few venture through here, largely due to the unpleasant nature of the journey, but at the end is the clan's connection with the Stars. Aside from the abundance of spiders, bats and mice can further be found crawling about the place, but it is generally only used as a hunting spot as a last resort. Evergreen Mountainside. A small body of trees that litter the foothills of the mountains, this is the natural boundary of what RidgeClan consider to be their territory and use the outer borders as the place we leave our scent markers. The trees are largely towering pines, and thus maintain their dark greens throughout the year and offer something in the way of coverage from the more bitter moons. It offers squirrels and voles as a source of prey, and a small pond can be found on the east side to offer venturers water without having to return to the mountain's peak in search of hydration. Frozen Creek. Like how the groundhog signifies the beginning of spring, the freezing over of this creek tends to be the first indicator that leafbare is well on the way, and often comes shortly before the first snows of the season. During the particularly bitter moons, it can freeze thickly enough that even larger cats can cross its ices without fear of falling into the waters, but its current is fairly fast and despite its skinny nature can provide a threat to the unwary of paw. It offers a couple of good spots for fishing, but due to the distaste of becomming wet shared by much of the clan, we don't often take the opportunity to utilise it. Jagged Peaks. Less a landmark and more the catchall phrase utilised to encompass the territory that RidgeClan inhabits. It gains its name for the erratic peaks and trophs that the highest peaks of the mountain take, almost, as though someone attempted to draw a straight line during a particularly vicious earthquake. Our territory ends on the other side of the mountain peaks to where the evergreen mountainside stands, providing an ample amount of space for the clan. Though prey is ample, as are predators, meaning lynxes, mountain cats and things of similar ilk can be found here, even bears though those are rarer. Moonlit Lake. Inhabiting a stretch of flat space about half way up the mountain, it is a beautiful and deep lake. Its waters remain so untainted that one can see right to the bottom, and watch the fish swimming and the pebbles sparkling. Due to this, when the moon shines upon its surfaces, it becomes quite a beautiful sight, especially when accompanied by the aurora borealis the waters come alive with colour. A good fishing spot, but that purpose is largely ignored, mice and voles can be found in the long grasses bordering its banks. This is more a sightseeing trip then it would be a place to hunt. Raven's Nook. One of the territory's last landmarks of the territory before the lands grow flat and drift into the evergreen mountainside is a quite vast, luscious meadow. Trees sparsely inhabit its lands, but it is the inhabitants of those trees that offer this landmark their name. A population of ravens make their homes in the trees, rendering the place ricocheting with sound whenever one journeys here without enough caution to set them off. It offers quite the challenge to try and hunt here, and is a good training opportunity for advanced apprentices and new warriors to prove their worth to the clan. Steppingstones. One of the inlets of the Moonlit lake is a particularly thick and fast flowing river that divides one portion of the territory from the other. Fortunately to prevent having to traverse its waters or take the long way around, great stone steps were installed into the waters long before the clan even walked these paths. Here too is a good opportunity for those brave enough to fish, but when the waters rage it can render even this point a dangerous place to cross. And when the stones become covered by the waters, it is a good indicator that the river will likely soon burst its banks and to evacuate the area for the time being. Watcher's Perch. The utmost point of our territory, it provides the observe a perfect position from which to watch the lands surrounding RidgeClan territory. Due to the altitude, it is a particularly windy spot and the most prone to heavy snowfall early on, but is a great vantage point to not only keep guard of the territory from but to witness the aurora borealis. It is so close it seems one can even touch it from this point, and is a sight so breathtaking it leaves one breathless. Set in the small gaps between two peaks of the mountains, it is about three quarters of the way up the mountainside, and thanks to the thick foliage offering shelter to the camp, we are generally largely free from the elements unless during the most bitter of leafbares. Thickets, bushes and trees litter much of the grasses of camp, very few parts of it remain barren and thus camp is well hidden unless one knows its specific location. A small creek crosses through camp's location, offering a close point from which to hydrate without leaving camp. A perch jutting out of a taller part of the mountainside offers a point from which the leader conducts clan meetings.
Leader's Den A nook situated where the grasses meet the left hand peak, it is a small cave offering a cosy spot for a couple of nests but little more.
Medicine Cat Den. A hollow oak log inhabits camp's eastern side, set against a steep upright of the peaks, offering home to the medicine cats.
Warrior's Den. A thicket offers not only home to the warriors, but provides a border for camp as it is difficult to get in without crossing it.
Apprentice's Den. A fox set has been renovated to create a comfortable den for the camp's apprentices to make their nests.
Nursery. A tumble of boulders create a structure beneath which cats can comfortable reside free from the cold of the mountaintops.
Elder's Den. Similar to the leader's den, but larger and deeper into the mountainside, moss naturally grows on the walls.

Thunderstar. More the flame caused by the storm then the storm itself, if left unreigned this is cat capable of wreaking chaos. He is the right mix of strategic, strong and charming that create a dangerous creature unless you are aware of the monster that lurks beneath the surface. On the face of things, this is a good natured if not someone headstrong tom intent on bringing the clan to great things, but the truth is he is a blood thirsty cat who doesn't care what needs to be sacrificed to obtain his visions. He is a towering tom, outsizing the majority of his clan and unhelped by the massive cloud of a coat that marks his features. Thunderstar is notable for the dark golden of his coat, the flame brought to life, he is covered in bengal rosettes covering him from head to tail in shades of black and dark browns. For a cat as large as he is, he is strangely elegant and kept together, creating the appearance of a tom who puts much aforethought into every movement he makes. His eyes are a icy grey colour, contrasting oddly against the softer shades of his body. He is marked with an ample coating of scars, indicating his prowess in battle and perhaps an early signifier for just how little he thinks of the battlefield, or rather how willing his is to throw himself in head first. Smokewhisker. Smokewhisker is the perfect accessory to Thunderstar's capability of tyranny. Unpredictable at best, this tom somehow has the ability to still convince others he is on their side even despite all the sides he plays. Smokewhisker is a master of social know-how. Nearly all his control comes from a focus upon extracting secrets and information on everyone in the clan. Smokewhisker makes it his priority to see that any threat to Thunderstar is properly assessed and either coerced into submission, or ridded of promptly. Naturally, Smokewhisker stays away from most of this, using his and Thunderstar's allies to execute their plans, keeping the blame away from the two of them on the surface. A grey silk furred and faded black tabbied tom with bright green eyes, Smokewhisker has an average mass, and, unlike Thunderstar, does not have the battle prowess nor the physical capability to ensure his safety. Smokewhisker has no close relationships outside of power, his only close alliances being Thunderstar and their closest supporters. Considering how easily Smokewhisker changes his alleged motivations depending upon with whom he is speaking, it is unclear whether he wishes to truly stand behind Thunderstar forever, or perhaps take power for himself all along. For now though, all signs point to his contentedness as the perfect dirty deeds doer, filthily happy with the power Thunderstar has allotted him. Aspenleaf. A tall, elegantly built long-haired silver lynx point molly with slender facial features. Her coat is rather soft and thick, giving her a cloudy appearance that hides her daintier frame. Her eyes are a light, crystalline blue that are rounded in shape to give her a gentle appearance. Given that her physical build is less than optimal for RidgeClan's harsh lifestyle, Aspenleaf found herself drawn towards the medicine cat position from a young age. Always on the quiet side, Aspenleaf is a calm and dutiful type, fulfilling her role skillfully and without complaint. Despite her somewhat distant personality, she is deeply empathetic and compassionate, being naturally attuned to the emotions of others. Those who wish to challenge her should take caution, however, as she can be quite fierce and unyielding when needed. Aspenleaf is nautrally suited to the medicine cat role, intelligent and with a great memory, but also not afraid to think outside the box. She is a source of counsel and sound advice, for those that care to listen. She is driven and works well under pressure, never shying away from difficult or trying situations. Aspenleaf was born in the dead of winter and watched as both her parents died before she was of apprenticing age, her mother from sickness and her father in an avalanche, along with many of her siblings. Though not the only factor, these incidences were part of what set her on the path of medicine cat. Aspenleaf is now close to few, but cares for all members of the Clan like her own kin. She is absolutely devastated when the Clan loses their connection to the ancestors, a cherished part of being medicine cat for her. She has grown more reserved during this time, struggling with how to cope without communicating with the ancestors, though she keeps herself together for the rest of the Clan's sake. Even without being able to receive visions from StarClan, she knows that something dark and terrible is befalling RidgeClan. Name. Open, feel free to join as!

Applefur. Applefur is a pretty brown and white tabby she-cat with ginger dapples and amber tinted pale green eyes. She is sweet natured with simple thoughts and humble ambitions. Cats with complicated motivations confuse Applefur, as she has only ever seen the good in doing her duty for her clan. About the most dramatic event that has ever befallen her was when the tom she fancied since apprenticeship became mates with a different she-cat. Though Applefur is a kind hearted soul, she has been proven to have a slightly sour side, as she has since held a grudge against both the tom and his hapless mate. Rather sensitive, Applefur has difficulty confronting the harder sides of warrior life, and does not do well with death or conflict. Her plain aspirations are to perhaps have a litter of kits and an apprentice, any larger role in the clan's future is beyond her wildest dreams. Coppersplash. Nothing is sacred with Coppersplash's personality nearby. Boisterous and vocal as her name suggests, Coppersplash has a word to say on everything. Her personality can brighten the dourest of moods, but she is practically unable to be serious. A brilliant orange and amber tabby she-cat, Coppersplash has deep round eyes and a curious gaze. Blessed by StarClan so far with a happy life to match her upbeat persona, Coppersplash will joke her way out of any sorrow that confronts her. Unfortunately, though her good humoured self can cheer others, it can also render her insensitive at difficult times, making her an unfavourable friend when comfort is needed. She hates the thought that any cat could be hurt by something she's done, so although she overpowers many more stoic types, she has the kindest of intentions at heart. Even as a seasoned warrior, Coppersplash has yet to lose the spark that ignites her energy. Blackbird. Blackbird is a dedicated and valiant warrior. She served under the last leader whole-heartedly, proving time and time again she was a worthy warrior. The sleek-furred she-cat with a black tuxedo pattern, never liked Thunderstar. Once he became leader she could sense tension and mishap in the clan. Blackbird is determined to help her clan regain its old ways under Silverpelt but since it has disappeared, she has become solemn and somber. Blackbird is a great mentor, she is very patient but also is willing to through herself into battle the moment it is needed. She will always stand up for what she believes is right and her yellow eyes will always blaze with her heartfelt emotions. Blackbird is a trustworthy and compassionate she-cat. As a young warrior, Blackbird had a mate, who died when she was pregnant with her first litter. She birthed in a particularly prey-poor winter and lost all three kits. This has shaped Blackbird, making her protective of those she holds dear. Blueclaws. Blueclaws is a light cream, near-white tom with grey speckles and splotches on his face, ears, paws and tail. He has crystal blue eyes and a skinny, limber frame. A naturally capable warrior, Blueclaws was long hailed as one of the most promising cats of the clan from an early age. His valiant heart and talented skillset singled him out to be Icestar's final apprentice, an honour which left an extreme imprint on the identity of Blueclaws as a warrior. Still a younger warrior, Blueclaws is riding upon the confidence he has been granted his entire life. Any attack on Icestar's legacy is an attack on Blueclaws himself. He sees himself as a knight for good, and believes very strongly in his ability to use his popularity to rally his clanmates against any signs of evil. Blinded by his golden-tom upbringing, Blueclaws sees no danger in convincing any cat to do the right thing. Brindletail. Brindletail is a soft-spoken she-cat with black dominated tortoiseshell fur. Her expressive amber eyes show all emotions that pass through her heart. She is rather shy and awkward, easy to manipulate and persuade even when she wishes she could disappear from the situation. Since the rise of Thunderstar, she has become even more quiet, trying to slide under the radar and just perform her clan duties such as hunting and patrolling as per usual. Brindletail is an excellent hunter, her paws are almost as quiet at her voice when she stalks. Brindletail wants what is best for everyone and will often give up her own wants and needs to put others before herself. This is no rash thinking that goes through Brindletail, in fact, she is more indecisive than otherwise. Foxpounce. Foxpounce is a handsome tomcat with dark amber eyes. He has lean muscles under his pelt which are understated, but one shouldn't underestimate this ginger tabby tom. He has splashes of white on his chest and chin, but other than that, he is ginger with darker ginger stripes. Foxpounce follows his leader, trying his best to prove his worth to his leader. Foxpounce isn't empathetic to others he believes is weak and generally, Foxpounce is sour and rather disliked. For a handsome tom, he bullies those who appear weaker than him - like a fox, he is sly and snarky. Not the best company, Foxpounce has no friends but that fact doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest.
Jackdawstrike. Jackdawstrike is a large tom, although half of him may just be his coat. In the summer, his pelt can get quite hot, so he doesn't mind a dip in the fountain to cool down. In colour, his pelt is a dark colour - best described as black - but it has a reddish glow in the sunlight. His coat can get a bit matted, though he does his best to keep it groomed. He has round, kind yellow eyes that are very expressive. Jackdawstrike has an excellent head on his shoulders. He is very empathetic to his clanmates and people outside of the lcan, though he does tend to take more caution when interacting with others who can potentially pose a threat. He does his best to keep moving forward, and struggles under Thunderstar's rule. Watching his clanmates do things they do not want to, or be picked off, fills Jackdawstrike with anger. His clanmates may not see this though, as he knows any kind of weakness can affect them. Despite him trying to maintain a brave face, he is fearful for the future.
Lynxecho. Elegance and poise are the primary traits of this young shecat, making her quite the sore thumb compared to the larger cats inhabiting much of her clan. Lynxecho was born a runt, and encompassed those traits all the way into adulthood. As a result she isn't too much to look at outside of her pretty looks, and she is quite happy to keep it this way. Shy by nature, she isn't necessarily antisocial but is far from someone who enjoys the limelight, she is content in her own company or a very tight circle of friends and would prefer to go with the flow and keep her lips tight unless strictly necessary. For those able to get close to her, she is a sweet natured young cat with a heart of gold, but she'd rather you think her the most evil creature to walk the earth than she would have a solid conversation for extended periods of time. She is a small cat, carrying the musculature of much of the clan but in a smaller form, her coat is silky but thick, creating a soft silver grey tabby dappled and striped all over with shades of black and darker grey wrapping around her frame. Her eyes are a pale green, the shade of the grass after the last snows have fallen and begun melting at last. Rabbitspring. Rabbitspring is a slender tomcat with long limbs and tail. He has common tabby markings on top of a golden-brown pelt. He is a tall tom who is quick on his feet and great at balancing. He has big, pretty green eyes. Rabbitspring is a friendly tom, never embarrassed by his mistakes, never one to shy away. He does have the tendency to be thick though, so if you want to hint something to Rabbitspring there is no point in trying - just tell it to him straight. Whilst he is a bright tom he isn't the best at articulating his feelings himself so sometimes he can hard to read. He is always one to crack a joke, sometimes at inappropriate times. He loves to hunt and is quite skilled at it - climbing is one of his specialties. Shriketalon. If Thunderstar is a wolf disguised in sheep's clothing, this tom is the fox in the chicken coop. An entirely different sort of dangerous, he takes pride in the intimidating nature he carries, massive and well muscled. He is egotistic and gifted with a sharp tongue, though he makes little effort to disguise these crueler features, he has enough common sense to not be outright nasty unless someone has done something outright stupid. This is a good cat to put yourself at distance from unless you are quite sure of where you stand with him, for though he is unlikely to do anything outright just yet, it is difficult to determine exactly where he draws that line and it is a good idea to not test it. A muscular creature, he is a dark reddish brown colour, fading into a lighter gingers at his muzzle, belly and dashed along his tail. Marring this colour is thick bands of dark brown and the occasional splash of white here and there, with eyes of pale chestnut brown. Wolfheart. A large, long-haired dark gray tom with a thick and shaggy coat of fur and copper eyes. Like most RidgeClan cats, Wolfheart is muscular and broad-shouldered. Sporting big paws, a ruff of fur around his neck, and tufted ears, the tom looks somewhat fierce and wild. Though his appearance is rather intimidating, Wolfheart is among the kindest of cats in the Clan. Good-natured and gentle, he is always willing to lend assistance where needed or a sympathetic ear. Not the most talkative of sorts, but nonetheless supportive and friendly when encountered, he has few close friendships to speak of. Wolfheart embodies many traits that a good warrior should: duty, integrity, and strength among them. He is brave, but not reckless, and loyal to those who deserve it. Wolfheart is guided by a strong moral code and sense of personal responsibility that he refuses to break even if it means going against others. He is an adept fighter, but will choose to take the non-confrontational path whenever possible. He is slow to anger and wont hold grudges, but is quite careful in who he chooses to trust, especially now that StarClan has abandoned the living. Muddypaw. Muddypaw is a brown tabby she-cat with a white chest and underbelly. Muddypaw is a watcher of all. She observes all around her, and can usually be found off in her own mind following after a curiously shaped leaf or a neat sounding bird. Rarely a word leaves her mouth, and anything that does is always a question. Muddypaw is just as likely to ask why the sky is blue as he is to ask when she'll next eat. Curiosity marks her as a blessing and a fatal attribute. Her measure of risk is fair, unless intrigued. Then, she could very well walk right into the talons of a hawk if a pretty flower caught her eye in its shadow. She cares little for discipline or authority, and though she never acts maliciously, this disregard for the rules of others endangers her as she continues her apprenticeship. Muddypaw believes the world is a place to be explored, and she will not listen to anyone who stands in the way of her peering at all the wonders her heart desires. Shadowpaw. Shadowpaw is a small black molly with long, but sleek fur and a light build. Adding to her out of place appearance, she has odd eyes: one blue and one green. Her slender frame is far more suited to running and agility than brute strength. StarClan gave her long legs, she always said, because they knew she'd be doing a lot of running. Away from her problems, mostly. Shadowpaw's personality is, in a word, chaotic. Her behavior seems to follow no noticeable trend, often swinging from one end of the continuum to another. She is a reckless sort, always desperate to prove herself or show someone else up, despite seeming to have little care for others' perceptions of her. Fiercely independent with a stubborn streak, Shadowpaw doesn't like to follow others and values freedom above all else. She gets restless when forced to sit still for too long, needing to constantly be occupied in some way. Shadowpaw is curious and enjoys exploring RidgeClan's vast territory and anything that can be found within or even outside of it. Her fun-loving and passionate side does draw some in, but she can be rather spiteful, often lashing out at others or even being downright hostile. Thus, she doesn't typically have many friends or even any on her good side. Mischievous and unafraid to cause a little trouble, Shadowpaw has had her fair share of problems and danger, but she tends to think herself invincible until these things come back to bite her. On the other spectrum, she may shut down for periods of time, being withdrawn and melancholy. For reasons she isn't too sure of, Shadowpaw suffers from bouts of insomnia and nightmares, which may bring on anxiety in the waking world. She tends to keep this side of herself buried more deeply, underneath a penchant for adventure and boundless energy, but may resort back to it once in a while. For all her flaws, Shadowpaw truly does mean well and could make a fine warrior some day, but struggles with self-esteem and her emotions. Underneath her tumultuous outer layer, she is insecure and uncertain, but trying to find her way. Much of this self-doubt is likely rooted in her history, being the only kit of a short-lived relationship between two cats with different mates, and neither of them having the best reputation in the Clan as it was. Her mother was killed during a fight and was never seen in StarClan, leading many to speculate she had a much darker side, while her father was all too happy to reconcile with his mate and move on. As a result, Shadowpaw is a bit of an outcast among her Clanmates, and desperate for any type of attention.

Name. Open, feel free to join as but please find a mate amid our existing toms first. Name. Please avoid joining as motherless kits or all of your own litter. Mooseheart. A rather massive, longhaired dark brown tabby tom with a thick, shaggy coat and bobbed tail. He has a broad, muscular frame built for the roughest of conditions, paired with large paws and pads toughened after moons of treading over rock. With facial features that can best be described as noble and a pair of bright green eyes, he was most certainly a handsome tom once, but seasons of battles and RidgeClan's unforgiving environment have left their mark on the tom. His once glossy, luxurious coat has grown patchy and dull; his muzzle is now gray with age. Eyes that could make most cower no longer hold the same luster, though many would still argue the elder is far from weak and docile even in his declining health. Matching his imposing figure, Mooseheart boasts and commanding attitude. Known to be stern but fair, in his days as a warrior he was well-respected and usually liked. A force to be reckoned with, Mooseheart's main claim to fame was his power in battle and unwavering loyalty to his Clan. A multitude of scars cover his pelt, trophies he wears with pride as a show of all he has accomplished in life. Even now, having lost much of his physical power, he is unafraid to fight with words or claws. He operates under the belief that character is best demonstrated through actions rather than words, and follows this by keeping conversations short and to the point. Though he was quite ambitions when younger, Mooseheart never was too bothered that he didn't make the deputy position he once had his eye on, finding the idea of leadership to be somewhat grating. He is a tom that prefers to be alone and do things his own way, despite defaulting to authority most of the time, he has strong opinions and isn't afraid to voice them. His main pitfalls are his arrogance and inflexibility, some traits that he still carries even with now, though he has mellowed out some. Mooseheart is known for being critical and standoffish, but will begrudgingly back down when proved wrong.

Mentors. Applefur mentors Shadowpaw.
Family Ties. Smokewhisker and Shriketalon are brothers.
Mates. Cat and Cat are mates.
A new leader has come to power and for now all seems to be thriving, though our hearts ache for the departure of the previous leader it seems the reign beneath Thunderstar will be prosperous. However, slowly but surely his hunger for power is becomming a danger to the clan itself. Small changes at first but soon the clan itself feels in danger of what might happen to them if they don't meet his standards, until after a few moons. Thunderstar declares the unthinkable. Aversion from the paths of StarClan and instead following their own paths. What might once have caused an uproar is silenced by the fear Thunderstar's and his cruel allies grip has put the clan under. And not long after this declaration, cats begin disappearing out of the blue. It doesn't take long until pretences of subtlety are dropped, and it becomes apparent just what's happening. Those who are weak are no longer welcome among RidgeClan. StarClan, until now silent as even the Aurora Borealis has abandoned our skies. But there is one final outcry before silence befalls the ears of even the most loyal. That saviours will come to drag RidgeClan from the shadows of the dark forest. But it is quickly beginning to appear that by the time they arrive, there wont be much of a clan left to save.
Further Clarification. The saviours are linked to a prophecy, and will be kits born into the clan gifted with powers and cats from StarClan reborn. Linked to each saviour kit, those being the Phantom, the Prophet, the Spider and the Soldier, will be their mentors who flee the clan with the intent of keeping the kits safe and training them to eventually help overthrow the dark forest within the clan. Those mentors are the Reaper, the Martyr, the Weaver and the Rogue. Due to how many positions we have available, members will be allowed one key role and one minor role, i.e. you can be the Martyr and an Allied. If you aren't able to get a key role, you can have three minor roles. However, if it becomes apparent we need more key roles I am more than open to additions or more ideas if you have anything to offer! The Catalyst. Thunderstar; 🇳ᴇcʀᴏᴅ🇦🇳cᴇʀ . Leader of the clan and the cat who brings the dark forest into the Clan.
The Mother. Perhaps a daughter of Thunderstar or someone who is close, the mother of the saviours. Claimed by ~Skyblaze~
The Phantom. A Cat gifted with being the only remaining cat able to contact the ancestors and sees them at will about the territory. Riverkit - aether
The Spider. A cat gifted with borderline unnatural speed and the ability to go largely unnoticed until it is there wish to be seen.
The Soldier. A cat gifted with talent in battle and incredible stamina, not to the point of being infallible though. Barkkit - Stealthfire The Prophet. A cat gifted with the ability of foresight, i.e. predicting next moves though by no means perfect, and persuasion. Brightkit - Starchaser
The Reaper. The mentor of the Phantom.
The Weaver. The mentor of the Spider.
The Martyr. The mentor of the Prophet. Claimed by aether
The Rogue. The mentor of the Soldier.
The Exhiles. The handful of cats able to flee with the clan alongside the saviours. x 4 available.
The Remnants. Cats forced to remain among the Clan against their will, i.e. strong warriors, expecting queens, the medicine cat, etc. x8 available.
The Allied. Cats in the clan aligned with Thunderstar's beliefs and willing to allow the Dark forest to remain, infinite available.
The Treacherous. Dark forest spirits of the clan, recruiting cats to the side and eventually taking part in the battle to destroy StarClan.

Barkkit Average sized brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes. As Barkkit discovers her gift more, she slowly becomes tormented by her almost endless stamina and power. She seeks overexertion, desperate to feel the physical weaknesses that come so much more easily to others. Until she can harness the advantage this talent can afford her for good, she will be constantly trying to reach her limits. Stealthfire Kit - The Soldier - Brother is Riverkit, etc. --If it's all good, I'm going to keep the form short for now until she's born so I can make her personality fit the plot even better
Smokewhisker Smokewhisker is the perfect accessory to Thunderstar's capability of tyranny. Stealthfire Deputy - Would love to have him be Shriketalon's brother? If not I can edit that bit out! --
Blueclaws Blueclaws is a light cream, near-white tom with grey speckles and splotches on his face, ears, paws and tail. Stealthfire Warrior - OPEN to all relations but will not be around for long~
Applefur Applefur is a pretty brown and white tabby she-cat with ginger dapples and amber tinted pale green eyes. Stealthfire Warrior - OPEN to all relations. - Would be super happy to have the ex-crush filled by a taken tom whenever someone joins as such ~ --
Cloudystone Massive fluffy white and grey tabby tom with grey blue eyes. Lived as a rogue after banishment by Icestar many moons ago. Dark Forest

Given the kits don’t yet exist I would ask you join as two existing cats first as well as the unborn one, but if that’s too much once the soldier is born you’d be welcome to kill someone else off.
And ooh, tell me more.

I’ll go with that then I think! And I’m sorry about that, hopefully you’ll have fun with the prophet! I fully expected phantom to be first to go honestly, thats the one I’d have picked (and the one I came up with first XD) and yes that’s fine

My characters are done!
Riverkit, Riverkit is a small tom. He was the runt of his litter during a tough winter, and was the only that survived. He is a lean and short, with a short tail and long whiskers. His coat is a nice silver tabby in colour, with darker stripes and a soft grey chest. He has gentle green eyes that are often very empathetic and emotional. This young tom is passionate about showing he is not just a runt - he tries endlessly to prove himself and continues to do so even when he has succeeded in his task. His determination is enviable, but it can sometimes lead him to being rash in his decision making. Although he has a connection to his ancestors, he isn't sure why. Riverkit hates feeling as though he lets others down. All of his thinking and hard-work has lead him to be quite awkward when making friends though. Aether Kit (The Phantom) Open to kin So I'm not sure if he should be a kit, apprentice, or warrior. I think the plot indicated they were kits at the moment? Foxpounce, Foxpounce is a handsome tomcat with dark amber eyes. Not the best company, Foxpounce has no friends but that fact doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest. aether Warrior Open to kin, but I don't think anyone would want to be his mate xD Anything else, i.e. role requests, ideas, etc. Blackbird, Blackbird is a dedicated and valiant warrior. This has shaped Blackbird, making her protective of those she holds dear. aether Warrior Had a mate who passed. Open to kin/mate. Can she be the Martyr? Brindletail, Brindletail is a soft-spoken she-cat with black dominated tortoiseshell fur. This is no rash thinking that goes through Brindletail, in fact, she is more indecisive than otherwise. aether Warrior Open Anything else, i.e. role requests, ideas, etc.

Okeeey forms are being written now! I think I'll do a character that can die very early as well, anywhere that could fit in the plot? Perhaps just goes missing, etc., someone who was opposed to Thunder?
