Here it is Gold Bronimir was in the armory of their prowler - The Howling Dark. In the middle of the armory was a holotable that was currently displaying a relief map of a nearby valley. Why? Well an arms deal between an Insurrectionist group and a small Kig-Yar pirate clan was set to happen in the valley. Though they weren't exactly here to stop the arms deal from occurring - at least it wasn't their primary objective. That was the procurement of a certain asset - an Insurrectionist leader by the name of Wolfram Kennard. Bronimir was waiting for his companion to wake up from cryo so they could go over the plan now that they had more detailed scans of the site.

Here you go, that took longer than expected lol, bringing it here)
Song-G121 // Female // Song stands at 208 centimeters outside of her armor, and is of mixed ancestry with strong physical Asian characteristics. Her extremely short hair is black, and her eyes are dark brown. // Song's MJOLNIR suit is something of a mix-and-match project based off of two things: armoring her vital points, while being light and easy to move around in. The powered armor is built off of the the MJOLNIR Mk VI, and in fact retains the chest and legs with the addition of HP/HALO light armor permutations adapted for increased heart protection. Her suit arms are derived from the Mk VI/C variant, while her helmet is borrowed from an older MK V GUNGNIR model, with a specially-modified HU/RS package. The helmet's isolated video optics and Wyrd III sensor optimizations have received an upgrade to worth with compatible scoped weapons outside of the Spartan Laser courtesy of the sensor package, and work beautifully well with the helmet's cyberintrusion software. The suit has a dark brown primary coloring, with a white stripe running down the helmet's blast shield, down the chest, with another stripe going down its arms and legs. // Song, in many ways, is the polar opposite of her partner: She is quiet and restrained with a grim sense of humor, as fitting for a Gamma S-III, and absolutely direct and to-the-point in most things she does. Song is also remarkably resourceful, and has a natural gift for battlefield subsistence and accomplishing objectives with what she is able to gather in the field. It's these qualities that got Song her CAT5 designation, and more specifically reorganized into the roster of Headhunters after Gamma Company was disbanded following the war for their more dangerous modifications. Song has gotten used to the side-effects of her illegal Gamma modifications, but has had far less time than the other surviving S-III's from older companies to adjust to humans as targets rather than the Covenant, something she isn't entirely comfortable with. // Song receives her dosage of smoothers from subcutaneous implants, which usually tend to be long enough to last a mission that doesn't stretch for weeks.

Shortly after Bronimir's revelry one of the armory's bulkheads slid open, Song stepping inside and nearly fully-suited, sans the helmet. It was currently going through some last-minute tests to squash out any bugs with its modified Wyrd sensors.
"Ready to start without me, I see," she remarked. Her voice, while spoken coolly, didn't carry any accusatory tones and was probably good-natured.

Bronimir chuckled and said "You know me, always eager to start. At least when the mission is as simple as this one." He looked up like he suddenly remembered something and said "That's right, when I woke up I was informed there was a slight change to mission objectives. We're supposed to put a tracking beacon on one of the Jackal ships."

Song blinked, the only indication that a weight seemed lifted off of her shoulders. The aliens had always concerned her, though she assumed that ONI, perhaps, had a plan for them given that ONI seemed particularly active nowadays.
Even if they didn't give any contingencies regarding the Jackals, Song was absolutely sure that she could find a way to necessitate one for ex-Covenant aliens.
"That's good," she replied. "Were there any other changes to our mission parameters that you didn't see?"

"None that I'm aware of." Bronimir replied. "Anyways, we need a game plan. I'll toss ouf my ideas and you can account for any details I leave out. Sound good? Good." He then looked towards the display and continued "So I figured that we should arrive early and lie in wait up on this bluff-" he paused to have the display zoom onto an overhang some 50 meters above the meeting site before continuing "So we can get some recon done. You know, to get a read on what they're packing. And then we would move down into the valley using our active camo before splitting up. I would plant the tracking device while you would setup a bit of a distraction. I was thinking that you could set some explosives on the insurrectionist transports. It would also prevent the asset from escaping. As for our extraction? We use this." He pulled up a camera feed that watched over the prowler's meager hanger. In it sat a single AV-14 Hornet. It would be perfect for the kind of quick extraction they would need.

Song followed him. For the most part, she approved of the plan -- when Bronimir didn't "improvise", he could come up with with decent strategy. It was fast, direct, and would divert their adversaries' attention, at least for a little bit, but 50 meters was awfully close and they may not get the full picture.
"Okay. So how do we acquire the VIP?" she asked. "Before, during, or after the deal? Does he have a foxhole nearby he could fall back onto?"

"I figured we'd strike while they're loading their cargo. They'll have less people on guard while they fill up their teansports. And with a little luck we can get a few of them in the exposion assuming whatever ammunition they recieve cooks off. Since they other party are a Jackal pirate clan they're not likely to engage us. Hopefully they'll bug out and we can focus on securing the asset." Bronimir replied answering her first question. As to her second question he continued "I already checked. The floor of the valley is very flat. It's probably why they chose this location. There's a few caves scattered around here but it shouldn't be an issue."

Admittedly, the question didn't matter. Bronimir and her would be able to dig out Kennard no matter how deep to ground he would go.
"So, I clip the rebels' wings," she began. "And you bug the Jackals. We wait for the deal to go through, then... I signal you with exploding ships, and we both catch the target in a pincer, provided he is still outside. Is that what you're thinking?"

Bronimir nodded saying "That's about it. The prowler will wait in orbit before it comes back down in atmosphere to pick us up. We'll be dropped off via the Hornet who'll be picking us back up. We'll be leaving in about 20 minutes. We'll have to wait a few hours once we're in position for the asset to arrive. We'll get advanced notice from the prowler once their ships are detected." Having delivered the last of information regarding their mission he left the display and moved towards a locker that had all of his equipment stowed. Turning back towards Song he said "Just take whatever you feel most comfortable with."
