Also PineclawI have a better idea, what if Guard Apprentices were only assigned 1 Guard to be their mentor and all of the Runners worked together to train the Runner Apprentices?  (Since the Runners are all over the forest 24/7) |

If they do their own thing individually wouldn't that cause some confusion? I guess they don't need more than one group but maybe they come together once every day to decide which cat goes to which camp. It wouldn't do much good for the Clan if two Runners were at, say, South Camp and no Runner at West Camp, especially if the cats of that camp were in trouble.
Oh, and how about adding the new Ranks to the Joining page? The Runners and Guards? Sure, anyone who wants to join could read about the ranks here or in the other thread but I think it would be good if the Joining-page had a short list of the available ranks, too.

If there are five Runners, they can follow a rotation to avoid mixups and make sure there's one in every camp/corner of the territory. They would be doing they're own thing in terms of route to reach the different camps, areas of the border to check up on, patrols to meet with etc. but they could follow a fairly strict travel time pattern so they're efficient and useful. |

I don't think that the territory would be HUGE huge. And I think it would make a little more sense for them to have the ability to meet up every 1-2 days because they need to know how to navigate the forest quickly from camp to camp, so if they have trouble with meeting up at a certain area in time then they shouldn't be a Runner.
(For example, what if something happens at NorthCamp and the forest is so big that the Runner wont be able to notify Main Camp until like the next day etc., since the forest is so big.)

ca$hew's suggestion about Runners following a rotation makes the most sense, it sounds pretty efficient.
I know we still need some Camp Watchers, Queens, mentors etc. before we can start for real, but would it be okay if we created some cats for the rogue group, too? Since I already have one cat in mind. But I can wait if I shouldn't submit him yet.
