Yeah I like that. So an apprentice could like severely injure themselves in the ravine. Could be as bad as Cinderpelt's leg if fallen at a weird angle or just end up being broken for a couple of weeks?

I think a broken leg could happen if they fell suddenly in some areas. I wouldn't make the whole ravine too dangerous. |

While I don't want to follow a fad with illnesses being common during leafbare, one plot we can do would include a sickness that requires a little journey for the cure. It would be rampant throughout the lake and if we have a medicine cat apprentice (a few have approached me about the medicine cat ranks), I was thinking they could gather a patrol consisting of warriors from all five Clans. So the medicine cat apprentice, maybe two SkyClan warriors and a warrior or two from each Clan. My concern is that we would have to keep the journey part going smoothly so we can complete the plot. Another would be a harsh leafbare with little to no prey but that doesn't seem as driven as the other. |

Yes. I'm sure we'll have side plots going to keep everyone occupied. I think prey would be hard to catch as well, so it would definitely be a risky situation. It would also make everyone in the Clan have a task of some sort. |

I agree with Reine. I wasn't sure if I was going to claim leader or let someone have it and be deputy or something. However, if the deputy is too nervous and show signs they can't handle deputyship, then I don't think they should be and would probably be challenged by someone more qualified. Reine, go ahead and tell me about the plot. It might help me decide what rank I should take and who I might do. Though I may go ahead and post ideas. |

Sometimes a deputy is chosen because they're the best option at the time and unless they step down or get killed you're technically not allowed to change it. That doesn't mean they're actually good for the job. But I'd rather a nervous wreck be deputy than a huge murdering douche be deputy.
And in some cases a cat can crack under pressure. Because say they had expected to have died before their leader or planned to retire before becoming leader. Not everything about a cat is shown by the time they become a warrior. Some cats have died and no one knew some of the things they did until moons after.
But also,if there ended up being a journey to go find a cure,there could be another plot going on at home while the others are out trying to get the cure x3

like i was saying - if they’re too nervous, to become leader, they shouldn’t be deputy. as soon as they know they can’t handle it, they should step down. and more often then not, by the time a cat becomes deputy, they’ve been a warrior for some time now. so what they appear to be is safe to assume as being what they are
and i already mentioned back-at-home plots lol
also rain, i was thinking of a cat who got attack and blinded by a rogue during their apprenticeship a douchey leader decides to name them after the fact, stating it’s to “remind them of what they have overcome” or some bull like that - or maybe their mentor wanted to, and a good leader is like “um... no? bruh?”

What if we combine the plots? SkyClan has faced opposition since they came to the lake. No one takes them seriously and ot escalates when the illness runs through the Clans. The Clans ignore SkyClan and the new medicine cat apprentice about the omen/dream due to SkyClan having a leader with a tarnished reputation prior to the current. Determined to make them realize their mistake, the leader of SkyClan launches an attack on ShadowClan and ThunderClan to take back territory and to send a message. We can develop it from there. It'll give us a plot while journeying and while at home.
i dont mind you guys taking one. just know they won't be used besides interactions. |

I was thinking the illness was in every Clan. The distrust could be from previous leaders trying and failing to make the Clans take SkyClan seriously. I think after Hawkwing, SkyClan would suffer from poor to average leadership and essentially become the new ShadowClan with how they can never keep themselves together. That is until the current leader. Perhaps the previous leader was so horrible that they tried caused SkyClan to dwindle from meaningless wars. The medicine cat apprentice could be related to them, hence why the Clans refuse to listen to said apprentice. |

Holly, the answer is still no for now. I still strongly disagree with the deputy being picked and being too nervous to lead the Clan, especially considering the plot we're planning that would need a strong leader. I would prefer everyone offer ideas for the general Clan that everyone can do besides personal plots for themselves. Side plots that can tie in would be nice as well. I don't feel comfortable bypassing others that have helped consistently over someone that has only asked for a deputy that would presumably become leader shortly. |
