I've seen them both be listed as a lot of people's least favorite characters, but who do you like better?

Blossomfall. At least she’s nasty to the point of having defining character traits that make her a controversial and interesting character. I’m not excusing any of her behaviour, I hate her with a passion, but at least she’s got personality. Lionblaze is boring as heck and has no interesting traits or personality that help his character whatsoever aside from being slightly gullible/stupid, and his POV is unbearable. Also, partially because we had to suffer through his chapters for 2 series, and he received no development whatsoever, unlike his sister, Hollyleaf. Edit - actually, I hate both. I really can’t decide lol

I'm SO happy I didn't have to suffer through two arcs of Hollyleaf

Lionblaze. He may have been boring in OotS, but I at least found him to be interesting in PoT and TSiT, and he has a good heart deep down.
Meanwhile, Blossomfall is just completely unlikable to the point where I can't feel any pity for her at all. Not to mention OotS already had a jealousy plotline with Ivypool (and Breezepelt if you want to count him), so having another one just felt unnecessary and it's even more annoying when her issues with Millie and Briarlight were only ever brought up in one book and never resolved, at least not on-page.

Wow, I didn't realize that there were so many jealousy plotlines in Omen of the Stars, but you're right, that is too many. I agree with Lionblaze having a good heart I feel like he gets too much hate for how he was when he was an apprentice, but he was just some young cat who was being manipulated. I also feel sorry for him, that he had to have Ashfur as a mentor.

Blossomfall, for the same reasons as Cappuccinokitty. I just really hate Lionblaze.

Blossomfall, for the same reasons as Cappuccinokitty. I just really hate Lionblaze. Why? Firstly, he had little to no personality. The only 'interesting' (it wasn't that interesting too lmao) things that happened to him was his relationship with heathertail and Tigerstar visiting him in his dreams. Neither of which were executed well, especially Tigerstar and Hawkfrosts 'manipulation' plan, which was wasted potential at best. He pulled a Brambleclaw, making excuses to keep seeing them despite full well knowing what they had previously done. Secondly, his pov's were completely outshone by Holly's and Jays, him lacking general characteristics and despite me disliking Hollyleaf, even her perspective was better than his, and she was actually written well and had personality that tied in with her actions. Whilst I agree he's good at heart, I'm still leaning ever so slightly towards Blossomfall, who actually had a backstory (even if it was pathetic) and even she got more development than he did. I still hate her though, she's a bully that's jealous of her crippled sister, and generally very unlikable. Actually, I hate them both lol

There was no focus whatsoever on his relationship with Ashfur, (aside from the fight they had,) which could've been super interesting.

True, also, it gave Ashfur one of the funniest lines in the series, "The prey have probably all grown old and died while we've been waiting for you." XD

I don't care about Blossom much but I can't stand Lionblaze and the only good that came from him was Fernsong.
