What are some things that you think should be prefixes in the series, but aren't?
Stick - they have used twig, branch, etc, but not stick
Peat/Peaty - these words were used A LOT in like Tallstar's Revenge and Yellowfang's Secret...they kept talking about how they felt peat soil beneath their claws, and how they smelled "the peaty air" or something like that. I think either could be a cute prefix
Any farm animal really, especially from WindClan cats.
Bat - I think I've seen bats be mentioned in the series before
Antler - they use deer and stag as a prefix, so they might possibly know what antlers are?
On the topic of deer-like animals
Elk
Moose
Buck
Roe maybe, for roe deer, however, roe is also the name of fish eggs, so that could work for a RiverClan cat.
Pollen
Ginger
Borage
Chervil
Just like any plant or tree name that has been mentioned in the books, as long as it's not a compound word like catmint, could work.

He's either the kit of Nettlesplash and Sagenose or Snowbird and Scorchfur, I forgot lol There's also Pigeonpaw from Tallstar's revenge. I completely agree with Larch and Badger

Do they have Peach or Hornet yet? No they don't, but I think those would be awesome prefixes as well

halogen I was mistaken about Pigeonfoot She is a girl and she's the kit of Tinycloud and Sparrowpelt There were soo many kits born in SkyClan and ShadowClan at the same time, so it's hard to keep track of them all.

Falcon
There’s some other birds that I think should be added, and some plants too, but Falcon is my top one and the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

Edit: I really want Warbler- too.

I thought of more, a lot of the plants they use in Watership Down could be good prefixes
Groundsel Orchis Speaking of Orchis, Orchid, Orchard, and Oriole would also be good ones Campion
Also, plants/flowers that weren't in Watership Down, at least that I can't remember
Aster Tulip - though, one of Brindleface's kits were apparently named this, I haven't seen it be used other for that kit, and I don't remember seeing it in the book Bud

I think Cardinal would also be another great prefix I have used Cardinal for an OC before! Aster, Orchid, and Oriole are great too! I’d like Zinnia because it’s original and would be the only Z prefix. Z, U, and X are the only letters that do not have any used prefixes starting with them.

I think there's a bird called an Umbrella bird *Faith*I know, I corrected myself earlier in the thread I feel like most readers would be confused by Umbrella as a prefix, not knowing that the bird exists, but I’m pretty sure most people were with Snook when it was used, not knowing it was a fish. Umber could be a prefix though!

The complete lack of Wolf- and Dog- baffles me. Like, what's so threatening about dogs that isn't threatening about foxes or badgers?
And I know wolves aren't something the Clans typically interact with, but the Tribe cats and TNP cast know what they are, and Jayfeather (I think, maybe Hollyleaf) hears them howling at some point.
Along the same lines as Wolf-, Eagle-. Once the Clans were exposed to the mountains, they should have more mountain-inspired names.
I know some people get antsy about the Blood- prefix, but I actually think it's decent, especially for a halfClan kit or a kit from a long line of leaders.
I think Bug and Bud work better as suffixes than prefixes, honestly. One of the waaaaaaaaay back threads on this site (from like 2016) mentioned that specific things should be used as prefixes, and nonspecific things should be used as suffixes, and I totally agree.

We had Wolfstep in ShadowClan when Yellowfang was still in ShadowClan. There was also a WindClan kit named Wolfkit, who would have been Wolfheart had she lived. There was also a ShadowClan leader named Houndstar, which is similar to dog. There is also an example of the Eagle prefix, with the daughter of Blossomfall and Thornclaw.

I really like the Hound prefix. They only used it for Houndstar and Houndleap.
A few prefixes I can think of are: Shore, Crag, Mountain, Current, Quick, Chub (as in the fish, it was referenced briefly in Moth Flight's Vision), Algae, Falcon, Maple (One evil cat shouldn't have to keep the Clans from using that name again), Sparkle, Pheasant, Broom (as in plant), Vixen, Lavender, Hive, Sting, and Egg.

Spine- should be a prefix for a Clan cat That's a good one too, I think it might have been mentioned already, but Quill as well, and also Spindle (which is a type of plant)
