Protractor “Uh, I want your name,” Hazel snapped. She lifted her bow a bit, getting an instinct running through her veins: to fight back.

jayfeather"Reggy." He replied simply. He wasn't going to bother with the woman's name though, that wasn't going to be useful to him at all.

ProtractorNow that this Reggy had answered the question she had asked, she lowered her bow again. When she heard groaning, she spun around. Whoops, just the wind. “Nice to meet ya, Reggy,” she said, her eyes sharply watching everything and taking it all in. There were few moments that she could just rest like this. She had to enjoy them...

jayfeather"Any particular reason you insist on staying in the same vicinity as me?" He asked. He didn't like it when people decided to pester him with antics such as this and when they did it made him want to bust their head open. This woman had better had a good reason.

ProtractorHazel, an easy-going human ignored Reggy and continued to enjoy her relaxing ease. “If you don’t want to hang out with me, leave,” she said after a few moments. She opened her eyes and laughed. “I’d say you’d want to stay here though,” she said. She pulled up her bow and shot at least 20 yards away, hitting a tree directly in the middle. “Your choice though.”

jayfeather"I'll take my chances." Reggy spat before turning away and starting to walk east. That was a cliche move right there. So what if she could shoot an arrow? She had no reason to shoot him and to be frank, killing him wouldn't give her anything except a bat and foul smelling body.

ProtractorHazel snorted and smirked. So, she could shoot an arrow. She aimed her bow, and at the right moment, her arrow went flying out, just inching over Reggy’s shoulder, and right next to his neck, just far enough away to not grab any neck skin. The arrow went flying past him, wind blowing the whole way, until it struck a tree hard enough to knock it down.

jayfeatherReggy stopped and grinned. Hook, line, and sinker. The teen whipped around to face the woman. "So there is a reason you want me here. Well sorry to burst your bubble but I've got no reason to help you so don't waste your energy trying to make me."

Protractor”Are you sure you don’t need help from an adult?” Hazel asked, walking past Reggy to fetch her arrows. She knew the teen needed her; he just didn’t know that yet. Before the Reggy could answer, Hazel slung her bow and arrow pouch around her shoulder and said, “Fine, kid. But you’re going to die without me.” She usually didn’t like kids out here with the zombies loose, so she took them. But Reggy seemed as if he thought he could survive on his own, which was wrong to Hazel.

jayfeather"Why yes,I will die alone. That's how my parents went and I'll follow suit." Shrugging,Reggy continued on his path east. It wasn't hard to follow and wasn't out in the open,so why shouldn't he be able to survive the road. "Don't break your neck trying to help people." He threw over his shoulder. "Gets real annoying real fast."

Protractor”Oh, trust me, kid. I’ve been doing this for a while and if you just follow me I’ll show you somewhere safe,” Hazel said. She did know of a place which kept safeness, away from zombies where they couldn’t reach. “I swear to the gods, Reggy. I’ll show you somewhere safe where you’ll survive,” Hazel begged.

jayfeatherGonna kill like Able and Cane. He sang in his head before he stopped. My pretty little demon, burn like the midnight sun. He turned to face the woman once more. "I've lived on my own long before this happened,I think I can survive on my own with more than just dogs trying to eat me."

ProtractorHazel stood for a few moments. What will make this annoying boy safe?! She thought to herself. “Your parents died,” she said. He had said something about that. All her memories started hitting her at once. “My sister and mother died when I was just 7. My father left me in the forest,” she said.

jayfeather"Oh how traumatic!" He snorted. "You'll get no sympathy from me. Why? Because I simply don't care about your past or anything involving you." Brutal, maybe, but he knew what he was doing.

ProtractorHazel closed her eyes and huffed. This boy was hard. “What I mean is, I know how you feel, Reggy. I went through almost the same thing you did. I feel sympathetic for you, even if you don’t care about me. Reggy, you’ll be safe with me, or, you can die,” Hazel said.

jayfeather"Not gonna lie to ya here,I feel like dying is more rewarding than following a stranger." He spoke bluntly, his voice rough. "You say you wish to keep me alive, but that only means I have to worry about another person as well as myself. That ma'am is a terrible way to live."

{Reggy is awesome, I love how u RP with him} Chloroform Hazel sighed. “I don’t want you to take care of me. I want you to be safe. We’re all trying to work together on this,” she said. The few humans she had met she had saved, and she wanted to save this Reggy even more. He had lost his family like her; it was devastating to.

(Aww! Thank you! X3) jayfeather"But the concept you're neglecting to grasp is that I don't help people. I do quite the opposite. The last person I saw I stole all his food. Old habits die hard." While he wasn't entirely sure how much this woman would care about his antics in the term of activities involving human interaction he wasn't going to allow her to waste her time on a lost cause.

Protractor”Fine. But can I at least show you where I’m talking about in case you ever need me? You probably won’t, but there’s food and water there,” Hazel begged. Fine. The kid wouldn’t let her take care of him, but she at least wanted him to know where to go if he was in trouble.

jayfeather"Ugh! Fine!" Whatever makes you shut up. It was becoming a hassle to talk to this person. Between her saying 'do this' and Reggy saying 'no', Reggy was about show her what it means to use their head.

ProtractorFinally, Hazel thought with a satisfied grin. She lead Reggy deep into the forest, shooting down any zombies in their path by Reggy’s side. Finally, when Hazel reaches where she wanted to go, she slid down a small tunnel that was hidden that lead to an enclosed place with bits of food and water in places. “Shelter, food, water, a place zombies can’t find us...”

jayfeather"This. This right here. This is why people die. They stay in one place and get too comfortable in their skin. When the zombies find them they aren't prepared." Reggy informed with a matter of fact voice. " That is why I move."

Protractor”I made a trap for the zombies that only a human with common sense could see. Zombies won’t be able to see it,” Hazel said like it was obvious. Of course she wouldn’t lock herself in a room where zombies could get in!

jayfeather"You're intelligent when it comes to keeping yourself alive in the field. And yet somehow it seems to escape you when you speak. That can get you killed. You should keep quiet until you're sure what you're going to say is going to have the impact you wish to induce into the situation."

ProtractorHazel was silent for a few moments. Wise child, she thought to herself. She pointed to the exit with her finger. “There’s the exit if you insist on leaving. I must warn you to watch out for traps. I was with you the first time, but now you have to be extra careful,” she warned.
