History Long ago, long before any living cat within these territories was born, four great groups came together within the same land. Each group had never met each other, nor did they wish to mingle and become one. They were each their own separate entity and if they mixed, they would lose what made them who they were.
The cats that followed mighty Ice were made for the mountains. Their large bodies, thick pelts, and large paws were perfect for the cold and the brutal mountain ranges, though their home was made half in a valley that was protected on one side by mountains, and on the others by a pine forest, geyer field mix and a high plainsland. Still, his chosen territory was at the highest altitude and it was theirs.
Those who followed sly Fire were suited for the land beside Ice’s, for the pine forest and the geyser field. They were lean, but not small and lithe, made for climbing trees and darting through sparse undergrowth. They were a shadowed lot, in pelt color and in heart.
The cats who kept to the ever aloof Dusk favored the lowest of the territories, a marshy land where the trees blocked out almost all the sunlight. They grew to have webbed paws and larger eyes, perfect for seeing in low light. Their hearts were mysterious and guarded, as were their minds. They did not often welcome in outsiders.
Lastly, though who followed the proud Dawn took up residence in the plainsland. They were lithe and agile, darting through the tall grass and running down any prey they could. They stayed lean and wild looking because of this, though the were just a proud and honorable lot. Words were favored amongst them over claws and brute strength. It’s no wonder they were so respected.
And thus, each leader was visited by a starry cat, who guided them one by one to a polished crystal nestled within a glade, surrounded by water that caught the starlight. Each one was granted nine lives, -star added to their names, and instructions on how to organize their groups into what would be known as clans. They returned to their friends and loved ones as Icestar, Firestar, Duskstar, and Dawnstar, leaders of Iceclan, Fireclan, Duskclan, and Dawnclan, respectively.
Though time and trials have beaten against each clan, they have weathered each and every one, remaining strong and alive. They are here today, in this land created by Starclan for them, perfect for every group and yet just muddled at the borders to give rise to some problems...
Territories Iceclan makes its home in a high valley at the edge of a mountain range. Only during the height of greenleaf is the valley around the camp free of all snow. During the other seasons, varying amounts of snow falls upon the territory, ranging from lighter snows and frosts in early leaf-fall and late green-leaf, to heavy snows and blizzards in leaf-bare.
A river marks one border of the Iceclan territory, this one being with Fireclan, often frozen but also sometimes not. The river is only half the border and goes on the make part of the border between Dawnclan and Duskclan. The hind border that is not shared with any other clan is just the peaks of the rising mountain range. The border with Dawnclan is only marked by scent and is somewhere between the highlands and the plainlands.
Surrounding the river and spreading through part of the territory is a forest of pines and low bushes. Only a small portion of the territory contains this forest.
There is a rock close to the camp that looks like a crouching cat. It marks the direction of the camp entrance.
Apprentices are trained in a small cave that is protected from the wind and snow.
The camp is a large hollow that is protected on one side by a large, thick, sweeping overhang and on the other sides by the walls of the hollow, as well as thick, thorny bushes. The entrance is a crack in the overhang that turns into a tunnel.
The leader’s den is a small cave, with a jutting rock above it used for calling clan meetings. The elder’s den is dug into the side of the hollow opposite to the overhang, hidden slightly by clumps of tall grass. The nursery is another dugout like the elder’s den, but much larger and protected by more of the thorn bushes. The apprentices’ den and the warriors’ den are near each other, sharing a jutting rock that protects their tops, with former being a more shallow dip in the ground protected by its sides and the latter being protected by bushes. The medicine cat’s den is a cave that is inside the overhang at its thickest part, receiving water from a small underground stream.
Prey that can be caught are arctic hares, mice, lemmings, snow buntings (arctic bird), and arctic warblers.
Predators include wolves, snowy owls, arctic foxes, golden eagles, lynxes, and ermine.Fireclan - Bordered by Duskclan and Iceclan. Lower lands than the mountainous Iceclan territory but still higher than the low marshes of Duskclan. The territory is wooded, though somewhat sparsely, by pine trees. Along their border that does not touch any cat's territory are flats with geysers, which may be how they earned their clan's name. Very rocky terrain but somewhat warmer than their Iceclan neighbors.
They hunt squirrels, mice, the occasional rabbit or hare, and various birds.
Duskclan - Bordered by Fireclan and Dawnclan. Low marshy land crisscrossed by many streams that branch off from a central river that flows down from their border with Dawnclan. The river runs along the border about a third of the way before cutting sharply away and into Duskclan territory. A thick canopy of densely interwoven trees makes the area that the cats travel dark as twilight during the day and nearly pitch black at night. The only spot that is somewhat able to see moonlight is their camp, with this also being the highest elevated area in all the territory. It is surrounded by bogs and deeper streams, with the camp remaining dry unless floods take it.
They hunt frogs, fish, small water birds, and occasionally voles.
Dawnclan (Name subject to change by person who claims it.) - Bordered by Duskclan and Iceclan. High plains that slope gently down towards Duskclan territory and begin to rise sharply along Iceclan territory. There are few to no trees and few bushes as well, though the grass often grows in high clumps. The wind that blows down from Iceclan's territory is cold and lonely, sweeping across the plains and picking up the warm air that flows into Duskclan territory. Their camp is much like Windclan's, being a hollow that appears to be scooped out of the earth.
Cats of this clan are often small, lithe, and quick. They stay lean hunting rabbits, small birds, and occasionally mice.

9 Only medicine cats and leaders can make prophecies, but ask the leaders first

11 No descriptive fighting, birthing, or mating
12. Please be as literate as you can be. I make mistakes a lot but lucky for all of us, this site can help you with words you’re not sure about. But beyond spelling, please at least try.
13. Respect people! No OOC fighting or unnecessary drama, please.
14. My word is law here. If I tell you to stop doing something, just make it easy for everyone and stop.
15. No Mary Sue/Gary Stu type characters. I don’t want you to be perfect in everyway. On the flip side, no characters who are always down on their luck. Play a balanced cat, please.
16 Try to be realistic, yea?
17. If you are inactive for 1 month, you will be removed. You may rejoin if you come back but if you were in a position of power, you’ll not get that back.
18. You cannot be the leader of a clan if you are the deputy of another. You cannot be the deputy of a clan if you are the leader of another. You cannot be the leader or the deputy if you are the medicine cat of the same clan. You cannot not be the medicine cat if you are the deputy or leader of the same clan.
19. If you join and then do not post within a week of joining, you will be removed.

| Scorchfang | 72 Moons | Fireclan | Senior Warrior | Scorchfang is an unusually large Somali tom with a bright, rusty orange pelt that fades to more of a deep, burnt brown that almost looks black. This strip of brown goes from around his face and on his head all the way down his back and to his tail tip. His fur is very feathery and fluffy, and it’s his pride and joy. He can usually be caught grooming himself in what spare time he gets. Only a few scars maim his “perfect” complexion, which includes a set of four thin scratch marks across his right shoulder blade, and a tiny nick in his right ear. As for his eyes, they are a piercing amber that stands out greatly against the darkened fur of his face. As an already expressive cat, his eyes show his emotions most. | Scorchfang can most easily be described as narcissistic and vain. He seems to care most about how he looks and what he must do to be better than any other cat. His egotistical ways and constant self-care make him a very handsome cat, and certainly one that catches the eyes of many she-cats, and he hopes to one day become deputy if not leader. However, his ego alone is what prevents him most from reaching his goals. Although he does put his clan first when it comes to necessities, he definitely puts himself alone as a close second. | Paschaliá | 32 Moons | Duskclan | Kittypet, hopes to join and become a warrior! Not quite yet, though. | Paschaliá is a shorthaired chimera cat with fur colors that two-legs call “Lilac” and “Lavender”. ((Lilac is dilute chocolate, Lavender is dilute blue. Lilac tends to almost look more pinkish while Lavender looks like a greyed light blue/purple.)) Her face is split perfectly in half, Lilac on the left and Lavender on the right, while the rest of her body is Lavender. The split starts at the top of her forehead and ends at her neck. Her face is almost oriental in shape, but whatever she is mixed with makes it look more like a more narrow apple-head. Paschaliá has sectoral heterochromia, her eyes mainly a pale silver while her right eye is cut in half vertically, the left side being blue-grey instead. She has a white underbelly that goes along the underside of her tail, and comes up to cover the tail tip. Her bottom jaw is also white, and goes gown her neck to connect to the white underbelly. The same white color is on her toes and ear tips. | Paschaliá is a rather easygoing cat who can be a little energetic at times. She can sometimes almost have a “regal” aura about her due to her kittypet roots and how much her two-legs spoil her. She is aware of her uniqueness in fur patterns and fur colors, and she is aware that it is practically the only reason her rich two-legs love her. She knows she wouldn’t be so highly valued by them had she been a common tabby. This information alone has contributed greatly to her desire to run away from her den, and with the fairly regular meetings with a clan cat, she has taken into consideration if clan life is right for her. She's even managed to sneak in a few times, although not very often, without being caught yet. | Crush: Eelwhisker | Paschaliá was bred solely in an attempt to achieve a rare fur color for profit. When she came to be, her breeders knew they hit a jackpot, and sold her for a very large sum of money. Her two-leg family consists of a married couple and their teen, who named her Paschaliá. They also have another family cat, who is a blue-point Balinese tom named Okeanós. Ashpaw | 13 moons | Fireclan | Medicine cat apprentice | Ashpaw is an American long hair bobtail cat with a primarily charcoal gray coloring. His paws and face are black as well as his nose. He possesses a single white fleck of fur on the center of his chest and over his eyes almost as though he has the vague appearance of eyebrows. Ashpaw’s eyes are a dark navy blue and are rather round and large in comparison to his other facial features. Despite his long coat, he is rather thin and frail underneath and the top half of his left ear is missing, | Ashpaw is a rather reserved cat, but he grows more talkative around those he’s close to. He’s pessimistic and serious in nature but it’s hardly intentional if something rude were to be said on his part. While Ashpaw is well meaning, he’s clueless in social situations and tends to avoid them because of that. What he lacks in social skills he makes up for in his intelligence. Her eyes are slanted upward and are light green in color. Despite her luscious coat, her paws are rather small and give her a very dainty appearance. Her bright pink nose and small scar down the side of her muzzle stand out from the fairly muted colors of her pelt. Her eyes appear to be in a constant state of longing as though an old soul recalling mates from moons past. Rosestep is soft underneath her coat and not quite the muscular warrior she knows she ought to be. | Rosestep is soft spoken but very hospitable and courteous. Perhaps it’s the diction she speaks with but her tone could easily be mistaken for that of an ingenuine one. She’s rather the opposite of a warrior in every sense of the word and hopes to one day reside strictly in the nursery to assist new mothers and rear kits. In the meantime however, she often attempts to avoid patrol duties by finding a nice tree to nap in - usually to no avail as her bright coat gives her location away. Bumblespots | 22 moons | DuskClan | warrior (or medicine cat, whichever is more necessary) | golden she-cat with short fur except for kitten-like tufts on her chest, behind her ears, and belly. She has lighter cream and white spots scattered throughout her pelt and pale yellow eyes. She walks in a slow, fumbling sort of way similar to a bumblebee, and what she lacks in stealth on dry land, she makes up for in the water. She speaks quickly as her mind moves faster than her mouth. | Bumblespots is both charming and caring though comes off as annoying or too cheery at times with her rambling. Alderpaw | 10 moons | IceClan | medicine cat apprentice | short and stocky tom with long gray and brown mottled fur and large, round pale green eyes. His kitten fluff has hardly disappeared despite being four moons into his apprenticeship and is constantly being babied by his father. His long and feathery tail sweeps the ground with his movements and stirs the pine needle covered forest floor. | Alderpaw is easily embarrassed but often cheery and playful. His biggest pet peeve is being called a kit or being treated like one. He has a rather weak stomach and is still growing used to helping even with small cuts without gagging. However, he prefers the purposeful and caring position of a medicine cat compared to the rough and tumble warrior duties any day. | open ! His right ear is almost completely gone but it’s hard to notice at first due to the kitten-like puffs behind his ears. | Brokensnow is a playful and fun loving tom who solemnly becomes serious. He’s very protective over his son Alderpaw and spends whatever time he has not doing his warrior duties, looking after him.
