Trinity didn't know how to respond to Ducky. "Really?" She asked after a moment, looking confused. "Wow, I didn't expect that... yes, I would love to! Thank you for offering." She smiled a little.

Ducky smiled softly, he was grateful he could help Trinity. He opened his mouth to speak when suddenly a rouge patch of corn hit the tip of his left-wing. Surprized, Ducky pulled his wing in sharply, in turn, this made his right-wing swing back causing Ducky to be nearly catapulted into the boxcar. But Ducky caught himself in the doorway. With one wing pressed to the outside of the boxcar while the other tucked neatly onto his back. Ducky stood there for a second a bit shook up but alive. Ducky gave a small half-smile and shrug. "So what type of home were you thinking of finding? I heard the Indian ocean is pretty warm." Ducky tried to shake off the fact he nearly was train burger.

Talia heard footsteps nearby; or, rather, she sensed them, somehow, being unsure of it herself. It might be one of the officials sent to capture her, and she didn't dare slow herself down to look and check. Instead she kept up her pace, ducking her head as she approached the train. Once she got closer, she knew she'd have to slow down a bit to grab on at the right time, but she couldn't risk being caught, or the train outpacing her.
As she got closer, her eyes were locked on the train, and she continued jogging. What mattered was that she didn't jump up and smack into the side of a train car; as long as she could grab on somewhere between the cars, she should be able to hang on then.

- Eira - Eira | female | 19 | Eira is a blue eyed girl with long brown hair usually braided with a thin ribbon weaved into her hair as a reference to her position back at her homeland. She's rather quiet and skittish, however beneath her skittish front and untrusting nature, Eira's smart, witty, and her brain works at a mile a minute. Coming up with plans and strategies to protect herself and the others around her. Eira's thick dark brown bangs and hair are fluffy and kitten fur soft, she has freckles spanning most of her body that have organized themselves to faintly imitate tiger stripes. When relaxed Eira's ears shift from human to thick white and black white tiger ears, and she has the ability to (with a decent amount of pain) shift from a human form to a thick furred, large, 2.5' tall white tiger (she's about 10 feet long nose to tail tip). In her normal form she's slightly faster, has really sensitive hearing, and slightly stronger than the average human. As a tiger she's much stronger and faster than a normal tiger and or average human. |

Avery watched the train carefully as she raced towards it. She kept her eye on Talia as she swiftly approached the boxcar. With one nimble leap she flew towards the boxcar, she landed with a small thud in one of the slightly open Boxcar. The person who had to close/check the doors to these boxcars didnt do a very good job. Avery poked her head out of the open Boxcar to see if the other person had made it. |

It was no use; the stranger was in her peripheral vision. She'd have to hop onto the train and, if it came to it, then flee from them, if they wanted to attack her. She carefully timed her approach, a running start and a long leap letting her land between two cars, clinging to a ladderlike attachment on the front of one as the train sped along. As fast as she was moving, she took the moment to have a few deep breaths; it was the closest she'd gotten to rest in quite a while. After a moment, she peered at the side of the train car, seeing that the door wasn't latched... it might be worth trying to get in there, she thought.

(its fine lol) Ducky opened his wings and checked, there were fine. Well except for the top of his left wings. His flight feathers were now a bit ragged looking. "Im fine, its not the first time i did something like that." Ducky chuckled. He tucked his wings back neatly onto his back and sat down so he was eye level with Trinity, he didn't like looming over her.

Thick heavy steps pounded against the metal and ground, gravel being sent flying around the air and tiny pebbles lodging themselves into the thick white and black fur and dark grey pads.
Sharp blue eyes with narrowed feline pupils stared out at the guard-rail of the last car, the warm-blooded creature running at full speed to catch up with the accelerating train.
Come on... Come on! I refuse to stay here! Frankly Eira would rather eat just vegetables for a year than be tasered by that ridiculous taser that would pump an insane amount of electricity through her body if it made contact with her.
The resounding crash and human yelp gave evidence of her success of getting onto the train seconds later. Although the sliding through a door on the linoleum floor sprawled on her side ending up beneath a bench probably drew unnecessary attention to her. |

"You don't have to take my hand but just in case." Avery smiled softly. Her horse tail swayed side to side nervously as she waited. |

Suddenly a thought came to him. "Don found this on the train tracks before we got on." Ducky pulled out a rather unbleached looked leaflet and unfolded it carefully. "im not sure if this is the train track were are taking now but its all we got." He showed Trinity the paper. "It looks like we may be heading towards Vermont USA." Ducky smiled softly. |

Trinity studied it for a moment, then thought about it. Then she smiled. "Vermont hosts Lake Champlain, right?" She remembered from her studies. There were many lakes there, so many possibilities to live happily. "That's great!" Trinity exclaimed. "It's beautiful there. I saw a picture of it... it's beautiful in autumn, isn't it?"

Ducky smiled softly. "Yeah! Once a long time ago i got lost and ended up in Vermont around that time. The mountains turn to seas of yellow, red, and orange with patched of pine green." Ducky pause as a thought struck him. "Wait isn't there a water beast in lake Champlain?" Ducky paused. "Like a Loch Ness monster type thing?" Ducky chuckled softly. "Champ is its name or something like that."

"And that's why i don't go in the ocean." Ducky stated. He paused. "Well one reason." He added quietly. "I wonder if there are islands in Lake Champlain. Those would be a wonderful place to hide." Ducky always had loved the idea of loving on a island, far away from any human and a place all to themselves.

Talia glanced around, eyes narrowed as the air battered her face. It seemed she had no choice. When she spotted the other girl's tail, she breathed as much of a sigh of relief as one clinging to a speeding train car could, and reached out her own slender arm towards the other's hand as she leaped towards the opening of the boxcar. ( tigercry is she in a car close to theirs?) |
