Hollyice Camp
Open
Hollyice stood in the middle of camp, her face tied with seriousness and her blazing blue eyes watching the camp contently. When most cats saw her, they ran or hid; or at least the kits and apprentices. Her sharp gaze staring down on them would scare them away. Not that she meant to scare them, {she kind of did} but that she couldn’t really help it. Her sharp features scared them, but she didn’t really mind not being bothered. Unless someone came up to her and started a conversation, she was silent. She had her tail resting over her paws and her eyes scanned the camp. She didn’t dare to speak— nor open her mouth. {Holly is open if anyone wants to socialize! And, sorry for the late response; I’ve been really busy lately! I’ll get a starter up for Orange in a sec!!}

Twistedbranch / Rosepaw : Territory Twistedbranch listened with interest to the young cat's words. She spoke with knowledge beyond her moons, something that fascinated the warrior as an escape from the ordinary she had always known. The brown tabby began to flick her ears again. It was silly of her to think that she could behave like a regular mentor. She wasn't a model warrior, and Rosepaw wasn't a regular apprentice. Twistedbranch decided to take things her own way, as she frequently did.
She watched as the apprentice tracked her way to a tree's base, and replied, "Maybe this works well then. You're right that I'm far bigger than you, but since you're smaller, you're going to have to be fighting against warriors like me your whole life," she began to reason, thinking bitterly to herself how unlikely it was that either of them would ever get to fight anything more intelligent than a fox. "Let's see how your moves fare against the ones I've been taught. I can be your target. Try to attack me like you're used to doing." Twistedbranch thought to begin simply, by allowing Rosepaw to stage an ambushed attack. "I'll head in this direction. Whenever you're ready, we'll see what your skills can do." With that, the warrior slowly began to walk through the trees, interested to see how Rosepaw would use them.

Boulderkit / Iceflight & Raccoonkit : Nursery Boulderkit heard voices above his ears, only one of which was his mother's. He nestled closer to Raccoonkit beside him as he reluctantly left a sleep as deep as only a kit's can be. Her promise made to Iceflight, Halfdawn left her to her waking little one, nodding to her in farewell. Blinking in the bright daylight that pierced his slumber, Boulderkit watched the strange looking she-cat leave. He pulled himself away from his brother and sister to settle even closer to the warm comfort of Iceflight. When he was very small, and they had lived in a stinky, herb filled place, Iceflight had told him that Halfdawn was a medicine cat, who made sick cats better. "I thought you were better now, because we can be in the nursery. Does Halfdawn want us to move back to her stuffy den? I don't think we'll fit anymore." As always, Boulderkit spoke honestly with perfect plainness.

Mosslight's Geriatric Adventure "Patrol" Mosslight was postivly beaming with excitement as the group passed under the entrance of camp. The adrenaline prickled her fur as it raced through her blood, causing a gentle shiver. She adored the sound of the woods. The birds and animals created a fantastic orchestra of noise. Her blue eyes casted a glance over to her grandfather, thrilled to see him already enjoying his time out from camp. "Aren't yous essited, granfa? Fares gunna be sho many deer arounf!" The young warrior gave a bubbly smile over to Leopardspots, elated that she had chosen to come with. "A shign from Starsclans? That's pwetty cshool!" |

Orangestripe Camp
【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 ’s Rowanwillow
Orangestripe was in his usual spot; middle of the camp, just hanging out and cleaning his long, furry fur. He flopped on the ground getting bored and wondered what to do. He looked over at a female strolling along, but then caught Rowanwillow around. “Hey, Rowanwillow!” He called, pulling himself to his paws, his big belly trudging along as he padded over to Rowanwillow. It took him a few moments; he was a slow cat, but he soon reached Rowanwillow. Before he could even open his mouth to reply to Orangestripe, he was already talking again. That was just what he did. “Hey, how are you?!” He cheerfully asked, shaking his body. He blinked and sat down, swooshing his giant tail to rest on top of his paws. |

Iceflight's gaze jerked downwards as she felt movement near her flank, and she let out a small purr as she nuzzled the top of Boulderkit's head. "Don't worry little one, we don't have to go back to the medicine den." She meowed reassuringly. "In fact, I think you three will be in the apprentice den in just a few days." And maybe just a little sooner. She didn't vocalize her last thought. She was always surprised at how the little tom was, yet she realized with fond amusement how some of the kit-like naivete towards life still lingered; her tired face and frail limbs were signs that she did not have many days left attributed to her, but it was heartwarming to see that the kit still believed she was okay. "Are you excited to leave the nursery? I'm sure you'll be relieved that your mother won't be fussing over you." She chuckled, licking his ear. |

Lichenstone / Leopardspots / Mosslight : Toward Cattail Meadow Lichenstone purred rustily at Leopardspots's response. A sign from StarClan that she happened to overhear them, that must be true, since waiting any longer for another warrior to join them would have surely made Lichenstone postpone the adventure out of concern for the warriors' busy schedules. A gentle smile crossed his expression when he thought of his mate Rainlark and daughter Cedarfall, perhaps making sure that the elder tom and his granddaughter were granted some extra company.
"Oh no, I'm not worried in the least leaving camp," he answered to Leopardspots. "There's nothing I still can't outrun. I'm rather quick, even in my ancient moons..." he trailed off, remembering how important his speed and agility had been to him as an aged senior warrior during the rebellion. He despised fighting, and far preferred to use avoidance. "Besides, with two warriors, I don't believe there's a safer escort. StarClan watches over our little excursion today." He turned to Mosslight's excitement once more and purred in agreement. "I'm so very thrilled. You know how much I like to see fawns and deer and all things gentle."

Leopardspots glanced at Lichenstone as he explained. He was so important to the clan, which meant she couldn't let anything harm him. He was an elder, after all. When he finished she purred happily. Leopardspots was already having so much fun. "So Mosslight, I have never seen a deer up close. Are they friendly?" Leopardspots mewed. She shuddered at the thought of an animal much larger than her attacking the patrol. She heard stories as a kit about horses using their long legs to strike cats, and sometimes killing them. What if deers acted the same? No. Lichestone said fawns were gentle, she had to believe the elder's wisdom. Then she turned back to Mosslight, awaiting her answer. |

Mosslight's Geriatric Adventure "Patrol" The gray tabby shrugged exuberantly. "Bfft mee!" she muffled out, still carrying the herbs in her mouth. She paused for a moment and sat them down while simultaneously halting the patrol. "I've never gone that close before. I usually stay at least two fox lengths away. They seem pretty sweet though!" Whenever Mosslight had seen the fawn in the meadow, they had been stumbling to stand and maintain their balance. Their mothers remained ever watchful with ears pricked and heads turning. Mosslight had always wanted to get closer. "Grandpa, have you ever been really close to a fawn?" |

Hello everyone, I wanted to apologize for the inactivity.2 days ago my grandma was found unresponsive and taken to the hospital and has been critical for the past 2 days. We found out just today that she has woken up and is stable. Thankfully it looks like she's going to be okay.)
