So, I had a somewhat popular name rater back when the forums were still opened, so I figured why not re-open it on the new forums. I rate these names based on my opinion. Names are rated on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, plus put in the hall of fame.
Rules:
- I only rate warrior names, so no tribe/apprentice/kittypet names please. - You may post how ever many times you want, but I only rate 5 names at a time. - Not sure if this would be considered a rule, but I really hate names starting with "Star" and "Moon," so I won't be rating names with that prefix.
Hall of fame:
Rosewater (by Silverowl) c: Heatherbreeze (by Silverowl) c:

Sandstripe - cream tabby she-cat. She is impatient, kind, and swift on her paws. Owlheart - dark grey tabby tom. He is devoted, loyal, and creative. Thrushflight - brown tabby tom. (Do you mean Hollow or is it actually Hallow?)
Sunwhisker - 8/10. Super cute! "Sun" is one of my favorite prefixes.
Sandstripe - 6/10.
Owlheart - 4/10.
Thrushflight - 5/10.

silverowl redthroat sootspots juncostep eelsip Silverhowl - 5/10. To me, it both fits and doesn't fit. Like, I can get a picture of a wolf for "Silver" which fits the suffix "-howl" but if you think of "Silver" as just the color, then it doesn't fit well. Idk, it's an interesting name.
Redthroat - 3/10. Not really the biggest fan of this name just because of the mental image I get.
Sootspots - 6/10. The double "S" is a little annoying, but the name is very cute.
Juncostep - 7/10. Well, I've never heard of the Junco bird until now. Depending on the location, the name should fit quite well, and I've always loved the suffix "-step" after some sort of bird.
Eelsip - 8/10. Props for originality!

sɪʟᴠᴇʀᴏᴡʟ ☾Oh jeez, I'm so sorry! At the time, it was rather late for me, so my mind read the "owl" as "howl" I also knew that was "Slip" not "sip", I just didn't say anything because my mind read it as "slip." ;; Harefur - 5/10. A decent name. Stoneskip - 7/10. I actually really like this one. It reminds me of some spunky grey she-cat. Tidepool - 6/10. Rookpelt - 3/10. While I do like "Rook" as a prefix, I've never been a big fan of "-pelt" being used with birds. Nettlestrike - 9/10. It's simple, but I really like this one as well!

That's fine! Post as many names as you want, just make sure that it's five names per post! C:
Fallowheart - 2/10. I've never been the biggest fan of "Fallow," sorry! Stoatstrike 7/10. Very creative! You never really "Stoat" being used that often. Birdsong - Birdsong is a canon name. Silverbrook - 7/10. An overall very pretty name! Beetlewing - 7/10. I feel like "Beetle" isn't commonly used. so it's nice to see a simple name like this.

•♕• yikes i forgot birdsong was canon! tidepool rosewater quickhare stagheart foxfur •♔• Yeah, I know! It's kinda surprising, Birdsong is actually one of the nicer canon names.
Tidepool - 9/10. I really love this name, but what's hold it back from becoming a ten is because it's basically a real word. Rosewater - 10. Honestly, this one is stunning! "-water" as a suffix fits so well with "Rose," it's really surprising. I was going to give this name a 9.5 before, but I decided against it. This name is just too pretty to rate lower. First name in the hall of fame! c: Quickhare - 3/10. Never was the biggest fan of having actions for prefixes. Stagheart - 4/10. A little bland, but overall a decent name. Foxfur - 5/10. Same as above.

1shadebriar 2lightningsong 3meadowberry 4jayrose 5dawnlight 6darkriver 7snowdapple 8frostfeather 9rosebriar 10fernfeather 11barktooth 12gorsefang 13foxclaw 14vinetail 15volefang 16voleshade 17basilwhisker 18featherlight 19elmdapple 20constrictorpelt I would greatly preferred you post each set of five in a separate post but okay.
Shadebriar - 3/10. I just really dislike "-briar," it's a hit or miss for me. Meadowberry - 5/10. I like "Meadow," but "-berry" just doesn't seem to fit. Lightningsong - 3/10. Jayrose - 4/10. Dawnlight - 3/10. It's pretty overused.
Darkriver - 5/10. Snowdapple - 7/10. Super cute! Frostfeather - 5/10. Rosebriar - 7/10. This one is actually very sweet, I quite like it. Fernfeather - 5/10.
Barktooth - 4/10. I like "Bark," but "-tooth" just doesn't seem to fit well. Gorsefang - 4/10. Foxclaw - Canon name. Vinetail - 6/10. Volefang - 5/10.
Voleshade - 4/10. Basilwhisker - 8/10. This one is really cute! You rarely see "Basil" being used. Featherlight - 5/10. It's interesting. Elmdapple - 7/10. I'm not sure why, but I just really like this name. Constrictorpelt - 1/10. I'm sorry, but what? "Constrictor" really shouldn't even be used as a name, it's a long word and creates clutter. "Boa," while still would have been rated low, would have been a much better choice.

•♕• sagebreeze cloudstorm (i forget if this is a canon name bc i feel like it might be? idk) honeyeyes fawndapple applebranch •♔• Don't worry, none of these names are canon!
Sagebreeze - 7/10. A very soothing name! Cloudstorm - 7/10. Hmmm, this name seems rather strange to me. Mostly because "Cloud" is a softer prefix, so it's kinda weird to see it pared up with "-storm" Idk, sorry if this doesn't make much sense. It's a pretty name though! Honeyeyes - 6/10. I really love "Honey," but I've never been a big fan of "eye/eyes," but it does fit the name here. Fawndapple - 8/10. I have an OC with this name, so it's pretty great. c; Applebranch - 7/10. This one is nice because you don't see those two prefixes and suffixes being used that often!

Mistyglade Applefall Scorchfeather Ripplestream Lilacflame Mistyglade - 9/10. This one is actually really pretty, I like it! Applefall - 4/10. Scorchfeather - 5/10. I like "Scorch," but "-feather" seems kinda out of place with this name. Ripplestream - 5/10. A decent name. Lilacflame - 5/10. I adore "Lilac" as a prefix, but "-flame" doesn't match it well at all.

Golden blaze Gold flake Speckletalon Vixen fire Haresplash Whoa, didn't expect to refresh and see four more new posts!
Golden Blaze - 5/10. Gold Flake - 2/10. I just.. don't really like this one. "Flake" is really strange, especially since I assume this is an ancient name? Vixen Fire - 1/10. I hate hate hate "Vixen," I'm sorry. Speckletalon - 4/10. Haresplash - 3/10. "-splash" doesn't go well at all with "Hare."

Larkwing Wolf light Ravenmask Adderstrike Pikeleap Wolf Light - 5/10. It's okay. Larkwing - Canon name. Ravenmask - 7/10. Adderstrike - 8/10. Adderstrike is actually an OC of mine, haha. Pikeleap - 8/10. I've always liked "-leap" as a suffix.

Cedarburr - 7/10. This one is quite interesting, actually. I've always liked "-burr" as a suffix. Bearberry - 1/10. This one just sounds so bizarre while saying it out loud. Primroseblossom - 2/10. Oh jeez, what a mouthful! It is kinda pretty though, but yeah. Mallowfrost - 5/10. A decent name. Ryestorm - 8/10. I'm not sure why, but I actually really like this one.

Fallowfern Owlflight Shimmerdust Fallowfern - Canon name. Owlflight - 7/10. This one sounds like it could be a canon name. Shimmerdust - 3/10. Never was the biggest fan of "Shimmer," although it words well with "-dust."
