I haven't posted here in ages, but I'm home for break and have wanted to post about this for a while. I initially posted this on the old forums, but couldn't get much info and obviously the old forums are now lost. A few years ago, I found this review copy of the first Graystripe manga on eBay. Unfortunately, due to eBay only saving listings for up to 90 days, it's long lost. Google brings up nothing for anything like this for Warriors. See here for pictures, goes to an Imgur gallery. |

I found a book on Amazon like the lighter color book which is the color version of the manga and I have the box set of the darker colored book which I got after the manga came out. I don't know if that helps.

The lighter one is an uncorrected proof - basically a rough draft for the book. There was someone else on here years ago (on this forum) that had one, but I don't remember who it was.

Oh dang, I wonder who it was. I also wonder if any for the other mangas exist. I think I remember someone on the old forums had a proof of Moonrise, but it was the same except it had errors... which is pretty much your standard Warriors book anyway. |

I’ve never seen an ARC of a Warriors book before, this is pretty cool! Publishing companies will make and send out ARCs for review and to create “buzz” about the series. Now that the series is popular and there are so many readers, they most likely don’t make these for the series anymore.

I don't know if that helps. I knew this cover looked familiar; I find it really interesting that the took the original cover concept and used it for the colorized manga. I guess they wanted something different and used it instead of creating something new. |
