Snakefang rose his head slowly from his nest looking around the warriors den. Some of the nest were empty as some cats probably out on patrols or busy with something else and others were still recovering from their wounds with the bear attack. Slowly getting out his nest, Snakefang slipped out the den looking around the camp everything felt different with both Owlstar and Coldsnap gone. His glaze rested on Silverscale hoping she was doing okay as he padded over. "Silverscale, how are you feeling today?"
Aspenpaw laid in her nest sofly pushing her tail back and forth along the ground not wanting to move. The clan was in a state of gloom and stress with many wounded and the leader and deputy both gone. Aspenpaw wasn't sure if she wanted to do anything today but knew it would be better for both the clan and her if she was. Sitting up, she wondered if any other apprentice was awake and spotted Hazelpaw. "Hey, Hazelpaw. Are you okay?"
On the road back home for thanksgiving break, so my response will be spotty.)

Littlepaw sat outside the apprentice's den and stared up at the sky. She didn't know what to feel at the moment. She had looked up to both Owlstar and Coldsnap and their deaths were really effecting her. However, she wouldn't dare let any cat know that. Lowering her head, she looked at her clanmates and wondered what would happen next. They were nothing without a leader or deputy to guide them.
Marshflower laid in her nest and sniffles a few times. So much had happened in such a short amount of time. She had spent most of the night grieving and barely got any sleep. For once, she had trouble finding a bright side to all of this. What would become of the clan? Would Starclan send a sign? What if nothing happened? Whimpering, she curls up against her body and tries to ignore her questioning thoughts. She had to believe that everything would work out just fine.
Duskfang growled as he digs his claws into the ground. He should have been on the patrol! He had pleaded with Coldsnap to join them, but the tom insisted it would be to dangerous. Duskfang was sure something would have changed. Maybe, he could have distracted the bear or climbed on top or something! He growled as he angrily kicks at the dirt. Curse that stupid bear! He had half a mind to track that bear down and make it suffer.

(Gonna make some stuff up from the previous night...if you aren't okay with it lmk and I'll change it!)
Firefang still hadn't forgiven himself for leaving his mate to fend against the bear. But when Hazelpaw had shown up with the patrol to join the fight, Owlstar had begged him to take their daughter away to safety, and out of love for his mate and loyalty to his leader, he had picked their daughter up and whisked her back to camp. And by the time he had returned, it was too late. Firefang had been the one to carry Owlstar back to camp, and he had stood vigil over her all night. But when the sun finally began to rise, he knew they would need to bury her. With a deep breath, he made his way to the elders den. "It's time." He said softly, hardly able to come to terms with the fact that it was time to say goodbye to his love forever.
Adderpaw hadn't been able to sleep properly since the attack. Mostly, he was worried for Hazelpaw, as she had lost her mother in the fight. Since he couldn't sleep, he instead chose to watch over Hazelpaw, and he could tell she was suffering from nightmares. Part of him wanted to climb in her nest and lie next to her to comfort her, but he feared that would make things worse. When he heard Aspenpaw's voice, Adderpaw looked up in surprise, as he hadn't realized anyone else was awake. "I think she's having a bad dream..." he whispered to the other apprentice.

Berrydawn
Yawning, she groggily stepped out of the warrior's den, but flinched as there were still wounds on her leg after she went on the rescue patrol to save Owlstar. She had only escaped with minor injuries, yet Coldsnap and Owlstar had died. She had increasingly felt guilty about this and didn't know what to do to get rid of it. She sat down, glancing up at the prey pile, and when she saw almost nothing she sighed. Her belly grumbled softly, and Berrydawn hoped that the hunting patrol might have some food.
Stormshade
Sitting tall, he scanned the camp for any signs of danger. He had done this all night, when Owlstar told him to defend the camp. Stormshade should have been the one to go, but the leader's word was the leader's word. His heart ached when he saw the deputy and Owlstar being brought in and he swore to himself he would protect this clan no matter the cost.

Whiteember The white she-cat sat up next to the late Owlstar's den, looking over the clan as they moved around. She had been having nightmares about what had happened on that patrol. Her mind trailed off, her heart beating fast as the images relived themselves in her mind. Whiteember shook her head as to send the notions physically out of her head. A black tipped tail twitched and sat itself over her paws. "We need to find a leader soon," she spoke softly. As she sat up there, Whiteember felt comfortably at ease looking over the clan like this. She could almost get used to this. "Oh StarClan give us some type of sign." However, even the Medicine Cat couldn't seem to catch wind of StarClan. The she-cat closed her amber eyes with a heavy sigh. Stagwatcher
An inaudible yawn escaped the tom's white tipped mouth as he blinked his green eyes open, light almost blinding him awake. The brown tabby slept outside again, figuring he could enjoy the nice weather while it lasted. He covered his face with his paws, rubbing downward and holding his face. "Ugh," he grumbled to himself, uncovering his face and taking in the scenery of camp. Stagwatcher found himself close to the medicine cat's den where the moss crawled across the stones intricately. His back legs stood up before the rest of him, allowing him a full stretch as he extended his claws. Standing fully on his feet, Stagwatcher padded down to the fresh-kill pile. The scent made his stomach twinge with hunger, causing him to salivate. However, he had things to do this morning. "Morning patrol needs to be done along the border as well as another prey run," he muttered to himself, going over the mental checklist in his mind. To anyone else, the tomcat appeared to be staring off into space but looking directly at the pile of dead prey in front of him. He had know what had happened last patrol, but that didn't stop him from thinking of the clan first. They would want them to keep the clan going, not bicker and fight over nothing.

¤Silverscale¤ Camp || Open Taiyou Despite her horrific injuries Silverscale managed to flinch when Snakefang approached and spoke. "Ah", she whimpered as pain shot through her nerves. How long would it take her to recover if the simple motion of flinching is excruciating. "Don't sneak up on me like that", she scolded looking to the tom. Her eyes softened and allowed him to see that she was just simply in pain. The once beautiful silver dappled pelt that decorated her body, was now dingy and still matted with blood and dirt. Looking away from Snakefang she looked to the freshkill pile a tail length away and softly growled. "I might be doing a bit better if I could put something in my belly", her raspy voice full of disappointment as she found the pile to be empty. ¤Hazelpaw¤ Apprentices Den || Taiyou (Aspenpaw) E U R Y D I C E (Adderpaw) The voices of her denmates eventually pulled Hazelpaw from her twisted dreams and back into the waking world. Usually this would be a relief but now it seemed as if the waking world was worse than her dream world. Blinking her big green eyes open the pale brown tabby looked around finding Adderpaw and Aspenpaw looking at her. "Is it morning already?" She questioned try to bring herself into a fully awakened state. 《Will post for Spidereye, Stonefall, and Darksage in a little bit 》

Aspenpaw shifted in her nest turning to Adderpaw as he spoke before looking back at Hazelpaw. "Oh." She muttled pinning her ears not able to image what Hazelpaw was feeling or going through. Owlstar was more then just Hazelpaw's leader but also her mother, she knew her fellow denmate was torn up inside about the recent attack unlike some cats in the clan.
Tigerstrike grunted waking up in a shaded corner of the camp rubbing his eyes free of sleep. Tigerstrike was on Coldsnap's patrol when they went to fight the bear with Owlstar's patrol although they arrived to late to save Owlstar but seeing the damage the bear did to his clanmates scared Tigerstrike to the point he didnt feel comfortable sleeping in the warriors den knowing he would never see Coldsnap or Kerestalflight again. Tigerstrike got to his paws as he saw more cats around camp knowing laying around wouldn't help anyone.
Snakefang felt dejected when Silvercale scolded him for sneaking up on, not meaning to scare her. "Sorry." He meowed sofly before following her glaze to the fresh-kill pile digging his claws in the dirt sighing. "Well, lets see if we can gather a patrol or two. We can't have you and the rest the clan walking on empty stomachs." He meowed genlty nudge Silverscale before looking around the camp. "Anyone capable of hunting should gather for a hunting patrol! The clan and our wounded need to be feed!" He yowled for attention.

When he saw Hazelpaw about to wake up, Adderpaw glanced over at the other awake apprentice before giving Hazelpaw a sad smile. “Yeah, it is. Are you hungry?” He asked gently, wanting to make sure the small tabby had anything she might want or need in her time of grief. He moved a little closer to nuzzle her ear, before adding. “I think there’s a hunting patrol if you feel up to it.” He figured it might help her to take her mind off the previous night’s events if she kept herself busy.
Once his mate had been properly buried, Firefang returned to camp, and stopped near Snakefang, who had just called for a hunting patrol. “Yes, you’re right. We need to send out patrols. You lead a hunting patrol, and I’ll lead a border patrol. We need to make sure the bears truly are gone for good.” They couldn’t risk losing more cats. If the bears were still around, it might be best to simply avoid them at all costs, as they were simply too large to chase off.

¤Stonefall¤ Camp || Taiyou Whimsicallight E U R Y D I C E calliope Hawkeyes258 Stonefall watched as Darksage entered camp amd a mouthful of prey. "Your appearance couldn't be better timed", he meowed dipping his head gratuitously to the warrior. "The clan is waking and everyones bellies are empty", he explained as he followed Darksage to the camps empty freshkill pile. He nodded and Stagwatcher and Snakefang who were gathered around with the wounded Silverscale. Looking around he also caught sight of Tigerstrike, Whiteember, Berrydawn, Duskfang and Stormshade and he waved his tail to them beckoning them to the gathering group of warriors. "Putting together some patrols?" He questioned looking to Firefang whom he just heard talling about the patrols. "Lets make sure no one leaves camp alone and no apprentices out of camp without being accompanied by a warrior", he added not wanting a preventable tragedy to befall any of his clanmates. "Adderpaw and I will join you on the board patrol Firefang" he mewed volunteering himself and his apprentice. ¤Darksage¤ Camp || The dark dappled tom blinked welcomingly to Stonefall when he came into camp and listened to the older warriors words. Looking to the freshkill pile he could already see his clanmates gathered around with hungry bellies. Dropping the two mice he then turned to his wounded sister and gifted her the water vole. "Keep your strength up", he meowed giving her a gentle nuzzle and then turned to the other warriors. "I am willing to go out hunting again."

Whiteember Seeing the cats gathering below, Whiteember made her way down to where Stonefall and the others were. "I can lead the hunting patrol," she spoke calmly as she seated herself. The she-cat had no interest going back out on another border patrol with memories still haunting her of the previous one. Her body shivered subtly at the thought. "I can also bring Littlepaw with me. It would be good for her to go. If she is up for it." Stagwatcher The brown tom perked his ears up when Stonefall announced the need for patrols. "I can go on border patrol," he offered. He wasn't apart of the last border patrol that was attacked, and he felt the need to lend a paw where others could not. Stagwatcher rose to his feet. "And afterwards I can join the hunting party as well." He was by no means a leader. Stagwatcher was more suited to being a follower and would remain as such.

Though she was sure she was famished Hazelpaw just couldn't bring herself to eat anything. The apprentices nerves felt shot, and at the moment everything seemed to have a numb feeling. "I'm good, thanks though." Sitting up she gave her fluffy pelt a couple licks and let her big green eyes peek out of the den through its opening. She could see a bunch of warriors gathering and knew that he mentor would probably want her to join them. "Yeah I guess going hunting would be good", she mewed to Adderpaw and rose out of her nest. How have Starclan still not sent him a sign? What would the clan do if he didn't choose a successor soon? Leaping down from atop his den the black tom started for the gathered group of warriors. If he wasn't having any dreams here then he would need to make a trip to Skyhill to be closer to Starclan. Lingering in the background he waited for the warriors to figure out the patrols before speaking up. His distinct yellow eyes carefully watched the clan, maybe the choice of who should be leader would be obvious. Mind whirling he looked to Stonefall, he was wise and had experience but Spidereye knew he had no ambition to lead. He would be valuable to whomever did become leader, but he was not clan leader material. There was Firefang, he was stong and ambitious maybe he might make a good leader. Or what about Whiteember? Spider watched as she approached and offered to lead a hunting patrol. She would make a good leader, strategic and kind. Yawning, Spidereye put a stop to his thoughts on the possible clan leaders. This wasn't something he could decide, it was up to Starclan.

Berrydawn w/ Stonefall [ Falconwing] Sighing, she heaved herself up with a little huff. Her wounds were minor so she could get a bit of hunting in. Padding over to Stonefall, she mewed, "I can do hunting patrol." Her tail flicked as she spotted Darksage. Wouldn't mind if he also did hunting patrol. "Has it been sorted out yet?" she questioned. Stormshade w/ Stonefall Quickly getting up, he made his way over to Stonefall. He will not break his promise to Owlstar. "Stonefall, would you mind me continuing guard duty?" He dipped his head. "Please understand." Stormshade didn't know when he could stop guarding, but maybe when he fully got over Owlstar's death he could stop, but it seemed it would never happen, being it so fresh in his mind.

Aspenpaw gave her pelt a quick wash before following Hazelpaw and Adderpaw out the apprentice den. She noticed the gathering warriors around the fresh kill pile wondering of the patrols had been aorted already, the black and grey looked around for her mentor to see if they were going to be doing anything today.
Snakefang shuffled on his paws as Firefang came over ready to lead a border patrol as he beckon for the other warriors to gather. He noticed a few cats joining the border patrol. "If we can spare a few extra warriors, I can lead another hunting patrol instead of waiting for the first to return, maybe a small patrol." He meowed looking between Stonefall and Firefang.
Tigerstrike settled among the gathering warriors shaking out his fur. He didnt mind beening assigned to either patrol as long as he was busy doing something.

¤Darksage¤ Camp || Whimsicallight Upon seeing Berrydawn approach, Darksage picked his way through the gathered warriors and greeted the shecat with a kind nuzzle to her neck. Though they weren't super close, the tom had always felt a special connection between them and now with all the tragedy it was comforting just to be next to her. "Want to hunt with me?" He questioned pulling away and looking her in the eyes. ¤Stonefall¤ Camp calliope Stonefall was just about to speak up when Stormshade approached and asked if he could remain on guard of the camp. "Absolutely, we need strong capable warriors guarding the camp now more than ever. Thank you for volunteering. I will come relieve you at nightfall, its important not to over exert yourself." Touching his plumed tail to Stormshades shoulder thankfully he turned back to the others. "The border patrol sounds solid. Firefang and his appentice, along with Duskfang and Stagwatcher. Make sure the bear has left the territory and avoid contact at all measures. The rest of us can pair up into hunting patrols of two or three to cover as much ground as possible." Turning he looked to Whiteember, "I can join you and Littlepaw hunting if you'd like. And Snakefang you could join us as well" Though he had first volunteered fornthe border patrol there seemed enough young eager paws to protect the clan on that front he resigned to hunting, preferring a more peaceful day of hunting over a border patrol.

¤Spidereye¤ Camp
Hearing Stonefall help sort things out Spidereye found his opportunity to speak up. "It is important for me to speak with Starclan, and at sunhigh I plan on traveling to Skyhill to sleep under the stars of our ancestors. If possible it would be great to have a warrior or two tag along." The last thing the clan needed was for something to happen to the only medicine cat. "Is there anyone who would like to join me?" Looking around with his mutated yellow eyes he hoped that somone would be willing to join him.

(whoops sorry for the semi late reply. I've been kinda low on motivation today!) Whiteember "It would be much appreciated, Stonefall," Whiteember nodded in response. Her amber orbs travelled over to Spidereye. "If I am back in time, I shall go with you, Spidereye. You are most important as of now, and it would be an honor to travel with you." The she-cat stood to her feet. "Littlepaw!" she called, flicking her tail towards the apprentice. "Let's go sharpen your hunting skills, shall we?" Whiteember smiled towards her apprentice, knowing that she would one day make a fine warrior for the clan. The white molly took a few steps towards the entrance, waiting on her members of the patrol. The fluffy tom, though silent, made his way over to Firefang and awaited the patrol leader's next move. I wonder how he's handling things. He thought, eyeing the tom. It had been awhile since Stagwatcher had been out of camp, and with recent events, it almost scared him. But alas, we put the clan first. He groomed his chest fur in the meantime, finding something to do.

Oh my gosh. I somehow missed that one line after reading the rules like twice. Okay, here's my second warrior And also: yes! Please make Ripplepaw related to Stonefall. Hollywhisker|| 61 Moons|| She-cat Hollywhisker is a tortoise-shell, dappled brown and orange she-cat. Her spotted fur is at once fleecy and straight. She has a broad frame and long whiskers, contributing to an all-around friendly, almost matronly appearance. She is adept at making conversation with even the most reserved of the clan, and also makes efforts to befriend cats outside of CreekClan. This is because Hollywhisker herself was welcomed into CreekClan as a younger she-cat and wishes to pay forward the hospitality she experienced. Hollywhisker is worried by the current state of the clan, partially because she cares about her clanmates, but also because she doesn't want her own life ambitions to be overshadowed. -bluestorm- Warrior, aspiring deputy, leader Can definitely mentor/mate/etc Opening to anything relationship-wise. -Ripplepaw-
Ripplepaw approached from behind Spidereye, marveling at the medicine cat. She had always admired the profession; a clan without a skillful practitioner of medicine was ill-prepared for situations of crisis, or so Ripplepaw believed.
“Um... S-Spidereye? I’d like to help out in any way I can,” the apprentice mewed. “I don’t know much, but I think now’s the time...” She trailed off. The seriousness of CreekClan’s lack of leadership began to set in. No leader? No deputy? Ripplepaw stared up at the de-facto regent of her clan.
-Icefoot-
Watching his clanmates gather for a hunting patrol, Icefoot felt an obligation to set out with them. Instead of his usual quiet, the black-and-white tom felt as if his fellow clan cats could use an additional voice, given that two of their loudest had been so tragically silenced.
“Whiteember! Stonefall! Wait for me.”
Icefoot strode to join the other warriors and the apprentice.

Whiteember
"I was planning on taking you fishing over by Rocky Creek," she said softly to her apprentice. "You remember the last time we went, right? However, I want a collective agreement from everyone before we head over that way." Whiteember looked at her patrol. "Is everyone adept at fishing? I want to make this patrol a successful one where everyone is able to catch a few prey for the clan. If not, we can hunt in the forest and meadow." Whiteember would rather get more prey and sacrifice some training for her apprentice so that the clan may survive. The clan's survival was of upmost importance and without leadership.... The molly shook her head slightly, barely noticeable to the cats around her.

Firefang listened silently as the rest of the cats sorted out who wished to go on the various patrols. He had been tempted to start assigning roles, but had refrained because he didn’t know which cats would be brave enough to go looking for the bears. In times like these, it was best to let cats volunteer for such missions, as opposed to forcing those who might not have the experience or courage to look for such a predator. When he heard Stonefall say that he should bring his apprentice—who happened to be his daughter—he opened his mouth to object. “Stonefall...perhaps Hazelpaw should accompany one of the hunting patrols. I fear her mother’s death might be too raw for her to go looking for the very creature that ended her life,” he told the other Tom quietly. He didn’t want his daughter to feel as though he were shielding her, but still he felt like it was too soon for the poor apprentice.

Adderpaw followed Hazelpaw out into the clearing, and curiously looked around at the older cats who were currently volunteering for the various patrols. He could see Stonefall, his mentor, about to head out with Whiteember and some other warriors, so he trotted past his friend and stopped next to his mentor. “Do you want me to come too?” He asked, eager to help the clan after such a tragedy. He hadn’t been there during the fight, and he wanted to make up for it.

-Icefoot-
Hearing Whiteember's question to the patrol, Icefoot once again spoke up, rather uncharacteristically:
"Fishing sounds fine to me. Which creek were you thinking of searching?"
Icefoot had an amateurish level of fishing skill. He had practiced plenty in the Rocky Creek as an apprentice, but that was moons ago. His thoughts shifted to his clanmates. He noticed the palpable fear present in most of the cats around him. He hadn't fully absorbed the shock of losing the leader and the deputy. Yes, he thought. Fishing is the perfect distraction right now.
