Maybe throw in some "hidden" post ranks? For example, at 666 posts your rank would change to "The Devil's Advocate" and then back to Deputy at 667. At 314 posts, you could get the "Pi" rank, which would change back to Senior Warrior at 315. It's small, but it'd be fun to be able to find all of the hidden ranks.
