"Same. Well, more or less. I'm not a designated driver as some guy brought me, but I like to stick away from the drinking." Ash said. She looked down at her cup, swirling the punch around. "Although I do believe this is spiked." She frowned and poured it out in the grass, not wanting to risk getting drunk in any way. Ash wanted to remember this first party... and also the way home.

Ash caught the bottle and frowned. "But water tastes so boring." She replied and looked back at the punch longingly. "Maybe getting messed up is worth it. Not totally, just a little. I'm sure I'd be able to find my way home..." she slowed down and shook her head. "Eh, never mind." Ash took a sip from the bottle before hopping away from the table to face him, grinning widely. "So, since you're alone tonight and I'm alone tonight, do you want to hang out together?" She asked, blue eyes sparking with hopefulness.

Cal just listened to her arguing with herself if she wanted to go back to the punch or if she wanted to stick with her boring beverage. He felt a little sliver of relief hit him when she opted for the water; if this was her first party at their school, she probably didn't want to get some weird reputation that would never leave her. It was astonishing how cruel kids could be. When Ash pushed off the table to talk to him, he let a crooked grin break across his face, both at her question and the hopeful look she gave him. "Looks like we're no longer flying solo then, huh?" Cal answered her, pushing off the table as he discarded his bottle on the table. The chances of him coming back to it were slim, but he doubted anyone was going to bother with a water bottle. He also hoped this wouldn't lead to them stumbling home together as he told himself he wouldn't do it at this party, but he shoved that thought back. If it happened, it happened, and right now he was just trying to have a good time. "Whatever you want to do, I'm definitely game."

((Alright. Can you start?))
"Great! Perfect! Solo is no fun." Ash said with a laugh as she placed her water bottle on the table next to his and then came back to him, grabbing his hands. She had no intentions of hooking up with him -- well, not tonight. Maybe a different night but tonight, she just wanted to have fun. But if it happened, it happened. "Alright, so let's dance. Do you dance? You don't look like much of a dancer, but what is there to even do?" She asked and paused for dragging him to the dancing to look around and see if there was anything else fun to do.

"Good, because I don't dance." Ash giggled as she followed after him. Usually by time dancing would pick up at the parties she used to attend, she would be "busy" with some random guy. The idea of just... dancing made her happy. Well, as long as Cal wasn't lying and he really did know how to dance.

((Oh thank goodness I'm not the only who doesn't know how to describe it. XD We can fail together.))
Ash danced along with him in however girls dance. She was enjoying herself. This dancing thing was fun, especially in the companionship of someone else. After a little bit, she closed the distance between them and stood up on the tips of her toes to say: "I want to spin you!" Like how guys typically did with girls at dances on movies. She wanted to be the male part of it, however.

Damon was still scanning the crowd when someone covered his eyes, almost jabbing on. He knew who it was when she whispered to him. "A very ugly werewolf here to kill me?" He asked, standing perfectly still. Damon was glad she had found him, he didn't want to wander around like an idiot all night trying to locate her. Spencer laughed and uncovered her hands from his eyes, walking around to the front side of him so she could see his face. "I almost figured you thought you were above parties or something," she said with a smirk. "But it looks like you found something worth your time." She handed him a color bomb and a color grenade he could throw later, saving the idea to hit him with a bomb later for the end of the night. "So, is there anything you'd like to do other than dance with me and get us some fruit punch?" her eyes showed the humor she found in her sarcasm, obviously not expecting him to do either with her. She ran a hand through her bright blond hair, letting it fall back down to her shoulder blades and looking around the sea of people that had now arrived. She hadn't noticed the large crowd coming in, but then again how could she with a guy like Damon holding all her attention?

Damon looked at her. "No, this is what I do, this is what I'm known for. That and other things." He smirked and took the color combs. He saw his sister somewhere in the distance, she gave him a worried glance. He ignored her, answering Spencer's question. "Depends on what you want to do." He answered smartly, watching g her movements. How had he not noticed her before?

{Can I just say that Damon is a sweetheart and i love the heck out of him cx}
Spencer smiled and took a step toward him, dropping her hand that ruffled her hair down to her side. "I'm afraid I can't do anything with someone who has not yet said my name upon seeing me. I did however meet this amazingly mysterious guy in a sandwich shop who, by the way, was also extremely hot. Any idea of where I could find him?" She gave him a mischievous smile and gave him a slight wink, drinking from her solo cup as she did so. After sipping the last pit of her drink, she licked her lips and stared up at him, taking in his gorgeous set of eyes and dark hair. God, he was cute. Almost too cute. There must be a flaw to someone with that good of looks, and she was determined to find it. Whatever it was would probably just make her more interested in him and make her want to be the stitching to his troubles. Following his eyes over toward a girl who looked a bit like him, she smiled and gave the girl a polite wave. She grabbed a hold of Damon's hand, knowing it would probably make the girl's worried expression deepen but also wanting to prove her suspicions wrong. "Is that your sister?" she asked politely. She secretly hoped the girl was somewhat related, not wanting to compete for a guy.

"I'm sorry, I guess I should have asked politietly, Spencer. And he does sound dreamy, in fact I'm getting jealous." He said with a smirk. He noticed her glance at Ivy before she grabbed his hand, forcing him to look back into her gorgeous eyes. Not like she really had to force that. "That would be Ivy and yes she is my sister." Damon could see Ivy wanted to talk to him, but couldn't leave Jace all alone. "Adopted though, we have no blood relations." He said. He didn't really care how much information he gave Spencer. If she was like everyone else, she wouldn't stick around long enough to care.
(He is cute XD)

Still holding his hand in hers, she gave it a small squeeze and began to pull him over toward the crowd where the song was a bit louder. She began to hop around, dancing and laughing as other people seemed to want to dance with her-- although she turned them all down. The only person she wanted to focus on was Damon, no matter how out of the ordinary her behavior seemed. She put a hand up to cup his cheek, pressing her forehead with his and smiling as she danced. She brushed the tip of her nose with his teasingly before backing up and twirling around, clearly enjoying the loud music. No matter how well or how badly she looked, it didn't really matter to her. She was simply carefree in her actions yet had a simple and mature sense toward the situation. No more drinking; she wanted to remember tonight, especially if she got to hangout with Damon after the party.

To be frank, Damon was a terrible dancer and so Spencer pulling him to the dancefloor wasn't his cup of tea. He followed her anyway though. She was an attraction that he wasnt able to get himself away from, despite any warning bells going off in his head. He smiled watching her have fun and held his breath when she was close to him. If he wanted to kiss her, which he already did, she didn't give him much of chance. Was she a teaser? He really wasn't sure yet, but he felt like he was just beginning to figure her out.

Ryder smiled softly. "I have to say, your so cute when you blush." He said dancing with her smiling. He didn't even notice everyone around him. He just focused on her "T-Thanks." Blossom said blushing even more. She looks back at him and smiles some more.

As the song ended, Spencer stopped dancing and laughed softly, not wanting nor caring to tell Damon he was a horrible dancer. A slow song began to play and she looked around awkwardly, not really sure what to do. Whenever a song like this normally came on, she sat with a few others and ate snacks while sharing funny stories from previous years of their lives. This time happened to be a bit different now that she was with someone and she definitely didn't want to screw it up. She bit her lip and looked back up at him, her eyes saying how scared she was even though she couldn't express it through words. She'd entered uncharted territory and simply didn't know what to do. "This is a slow song," she said simply. Immediately she scolded herself for saying the most obvious thing that could've possibly been said. Feeling her cheeks become red, she looked down to the ground so her hair would fall in front of her and cover most of her cheeks.

Ash rolled her eyes at the punch comment, but otherwise didn't speak about it. Grinning, she took his hand in hers and stood up as tall as she could before she realized that even that would be difficult. "Wait, wait, wait a minute." She yelled to him and looked around before leaning up once more to say to him: "Do you think I should find a chair so I'm taller than you?" Well, maybe not taller but at least closer to his height. But perhaps that was too much work and she was simply overthinking things.

"Oh, so you finally realized I'm literally a foot taller than you?" Calvin joked as he saw Ash struggling. "And no, I don't see any chairs, but three solutions are: I bend, I spin you, or we go on an all out search for a chair." A glint was in his eyes - he was having genuine fun doing this, something he didn't experience often. As a slower song came on, he eyed her again. "A slow song?" He questioned, even though he was aware Ash could hear. "Do you want to get out or..." Cal trailed off; slow songs were more for couples, and he wouldn't say they were close to that. "Or still try to spin me?"
No problem!)

"Good, because I don't want to see you do ballet." She giggled "By the way, I hate ballet." She winked and danced. She heard a slow song (even though it's probably over) and smiled. She came closer to Mason and put her arms around him smiling
Ryder smiled. He heard a slow song come on and he looked at Blossom. He took her hands "Would you have this dance with me?" He asked putting her hands on his shoulders and putting his own on her hips.

"Just relax." Ivy laughed and jumped out of the car smiling. Damon had arrived just a few mintues earlier. He scanned the crowd for his "date" for the night. Spencer knew how to throw a party and with everyone in white, it might take him a bit to find her in the crowd. Jace had, at first, been rather nervous about the whole thing. His palms had been sweaty and his heart had been beating rapidly, but now he was starting to relax. Starting to get used to the atmosphere of the whole thing. Not to mention that being here, he could keep an eye on his little sister. It looked as if Ash was having the time of her life -- for a while, she had been flitting from person to person, but now she was dancing and talking with a singular guy. At least Jace hadn't caught her drinking any kind of alcohol.

Ash grinned. "Are you kidding? Of course I'm going to spin you for a slow song! Slow songs were meant for spinning. But first, we've gotta work up to it. This spin has to be just like in the movies, except I'm the guy. Just a... really short guy." She laughed and took his hands, placing them on her shoulders. "So we'll slow dance for, like, two seconds, and then I'll just try and spin you with you crouching down. Alright? Because I don't think we're going to find any chairs." She explained. Maybe she could try and ask this "Spencer" person that was in charge of the party, but that didn't seem like a good introduction on Ash's part.
"This reminds me of all of those awkward dances I used to go to." Mason mumbled as he rested his hands just above her waist, just like what was expected of this. He remembered his first dance, before he'd grown out of his lisp and he'd still had those nerdy glasses and braces... Those were horrible days. But he had been happy at those dances because for a little while when he was slow dancing, he had been able to forget the teasing.

Tori smiled. "Well I hope this one isn't too awkward. If it is tell me and I'll lead." She winked playfully as they slowly danced. She smiled at him. "So, have you been to a dance you actually enjoyed?" She asked curiously
