I got to write & do some brainstorming yesterday! Probably did more brainstorming than writing when all was said and done, but, honestly, it was very useful and much needed.
Now that I know April brings with it another NaNo, hopefully I can motivate myself to write on more days than just my lone day off ):

Cool, cool! (: Well, good luck if you do! Sorry about your computer ): I totally get that, though, and I'm praying for you. At the beginning of the month, my computer deleted all my files b/c the space on this thing is so minimal. And I LOST it. I was hysterical. I cried for the entire week, and I just felt like I lost everything b/c my stories are everything to me. And I actually felt pretty ridiculous b/c people have lost loved ones or their own lives (just in general), and I was crying over my story like someone I knew was dying. But, idk... I felt like I lost someone, ya know? And it doesn't help that one of my biggest fears is actually losing the things that I've written. Long story short, I ended up getting my stuff back (THANK THE HEAVENS), but now I'm making sure to write on my flashdrives b/c my computer still has no space and every so often my stuff disappears and then comes back... but I can't trust it, so ): and I may or may not have used up a whole ream and a half of paper to print out my story just in case I hope your repairs go smoothly and you can use your computer again. |

Welp, announced my Camp NaNo project! This should be fun! That's relatable. Also feeling badly about something is personal and how you handle it is as well. Other people have been through worse and that's terrible, but your own feelings are still valid and it is perfectly reasonable and understandable to feel loss toward something you put your life into. <3

Hello, I'm back after my one post here several months ago, lol. But I need a place to put all my NaNo thoughts and I find the NaNo forums themselves pretty user-unfriendly. So hello other writers and (hopefully) campers!
Camp for me starts in less than two hours and I only have seven of the forty chapters outlined. Woo.
Edit four hours later: Okay, no actual writing yet, but we now have 20 chapters outlined. Hoping to start actual writing by Friday.

One day, I'd like to actually, properly do a NaNo. So far, I've only ever tried to write more during NaNo months. But, one of these times I want to see how far I can actually get with a story I've planned specifically for the month.

Hey Skypaw! Welcome! I did some editing and some new writing, both of which was very satisfyingly. To answer your question, Kayla, it's whatever you want it to be! It can be a new story, an old story, editing, plotting, revising, or writing (or a combo of any). Including comic and script creation. Of course, all of this can be done for NaNo main as well, but Camp actually has a setting to select which of these you're doing.  |

I actually ended up writing a little bit the other day. Wasn't planned, but it happened, and it was good. I don't have the count at the moment, but I'll see about getting it up. It was only like 2,000 words.

I do have all the ideas, though. It's just tough b/c every time I think I'm ready to write, I end up falling asleep at my computer.
