Ashpaw trotted around camp, tail held high as she continued to look for the kit. Where could he be? He was a pretty good hider, apparently. She saw Tigerpaw sit nearby and watch, huffing to herself. She couldn't tell if he thought she was stupid for playing with Robinkit or if he just wanted to watch. Either way, she focused her attention back on her search. She smiled when she finally heard it - soft giggles coming from Cloudleap. She purred in amusement as she stepped close to the queen. "Cloudleap, have you seen Robinkit?" She teased and waited a moment for suspense before carefully sticking her paw under Cloudleap's white belly fur and poking Robinkit. "Aha! Gotcha!"

Tigerpaw watched and mewed,”Good hiding place,I remember I used to do the same thing. Before Fallenfeather died.....”Tigerpaw thought back to his mother. She was a beautiful light brown she-cat with hypnotic blue eyes.He felt his eyes water up but fought them back.

The white and ginger she-cat chuckled softly as Robinkit giggled and stumbled out from his furry hiding spot. "You found me!" He squeaked loudly. His gaze flicked over to Tigerpaw. "You should join us!" He said happily. "Its much more fun if there are more cats playing!" Robinkit padded up to Tigerpaw. Cloudleap got to her paws and stretched. "Im going to get something to eat if you need me i will be at the fresh kill pile." She said softly before padding off.

//Weh hello sorry for the long pause @-@
Halfpaw nodded quickly. "Sure did! I gave her some ragwort leaves... I hope that's alright." she said, looking away. Halfpaw didn't proper ask what she was all allowed to do yet, but Pigeonfeather was a bit busy with Shinestar at the time. She had figured it would be better to ease the elder's pain for the time being and worry about repercussions later. She sat down, wrapping her tail around her legs, and looked back at Pigeonfeather. "Are you sure everything is fine? Was this about... the prophecy?" Halfpaw asked, lowering her voice as the last couple words left her mouth. She had known about it soon after it was received and part of her understood why such a jarring idea would cause a negative reaction in their fiery leader.
(its fine!)
Pigeonfeather watched Halfpaw for a long second as if she was trying to gather her thoughts. "Yes that's perfect, she should need more before she goes to her nest for the night." Pigeonfeather turned away and begun to fidget with some of her herbs. She sighed softly. "Yes and yes." She said simply. Her gaze flicked back over to Halfpaw. "We may have to go to the Star Stone tonight." She said softly. She needed more answers, Starclan had been so vague.

( Fuzzymask Sorry it took me forever; I had a stream of classes. I intended for my reply to be shorter, but my imagination ran away with me and came up with some very heavy stuff XD Also, can you tell me Shinestar's warrior name so I can fill in the blanks you'll see below? Thaks!)
“Shinestar!” Softbreeze sprang up called after the receding tom. “Shinestar, wait!” The she-cat stared after him, the helplessness clear in her gaze. She paced around the clearing, her pawsteps light, quick, and restless, executing hurried jerky turns when she reached the edges of the small glade, her mind whirling. Was Shinestar right? Foxstar, her beloved father, had devoted his whole life to making sure that GorgeClan settled down comfortably in this territory. He had borne many wounds, both physical and mental, in order to tame the harsh wilderness into a true home for the Clan.
Softbreeze could remember his bracken-colored stripes, warm amber eyes the same shade as hers, the scar that traced a pale furrow across his cheek, and his deep, rumbling mew as if he was standing and speaking before her now. Am I really going to be responsible for letting your life’s work go to waste? Softbreeze wailed silently, eyes uplifted to the steely leaf-bare sky and the stars that it veiled. She looked down and shook her head violently. “I can’t,” she whispered to herself. As she said it, a sense of déjà vu overtook her, and she was plunged into a memory from moons ago…
“You can’t?” Foxstar repeated Softbreeze’s words, his mew rasping in his throat, eyes ablaze. Softbreeze stared at her paws, then lifted her head to meet the once-powerful russet tom’s, her eyes shimmering with grief.
“How can I go on without you?” she murmured bleakly, the medicine cat’s message to her echoing in her ears: There’s nothing I can do, Softbreeze. Foxstar was badly burned, and the smoke from the fire has entered his chest, He will join StarClan before the night is through.
“Listen to me, Softbreeze,” Foxstar wheezed. He doubled over in his nest as a fit of coughing overtook him, then continued,“I have lived nine long, prosperous lives, but now it is time to join your mother in StarClan. Do you know what has kept me alive for so long?” Softbreeze blinked, but Foxstar pushed on before she could answer. “My promises. I made two great promises in my lifetime: one to your mother and one to StarClan. I swore to your mother that I would care for you, and I swore to StarClan that I would strengthen GorgeClan and ensure that it would survive for countless moons to come. And I have fulfilled both of my promises. I raised a daughter who knows enough to wend her way wisely through the world until it is time for her to walk among the stars, and I have established GorgeClan in a safe place and helped it prosper. I have also ensured that it will continue to prosper, as I have chosen Shineheart to be my successor and trust that he will be a knowledgeable leader who will lead our Clan well.
Now that it is my time, there is something I must ask of you, Softbreeze. I must ask you to keep my promises alive. I ask you to live your life to the fullest so that your mother and I may be proud of you, and I ask you, along with Shineheart, to care for GorgeClan as tenderly as a mother cares for her kit. Will you do this for me, daughter?”
“Oh, Foxstar...of course I will!” Softbreeze answered, drawing herself up, eyes alight with renewed purpose. “I swear to you that you and my mother will be proud of me, and I swear to you that GorgeClan shall thrive when I am alive and when I join you! Your legacy shall continue with me; this I swear to you upon the stars!”
Softbreeze snapped open her eyes as the last dregs of her last moments with Foxstar melted away, leaving a sense of purpose. Foxstar hadn't told her to take care of their territory, but their Clan. Would he really want to see the Clan he had devoted his life to destroyed because of him? She had to keep her promises! And the first step she had to take to accomplish that right now was finding Shinestar. The ginger-and-white tabby sprang out of the glade with a strong push of her hind legs and flew through the forest, searching for the familiar scent and silver pelt she had known forever.

Shinestar stormed through the hemlock forest. He muttered and swore under his breath. Not at Softbreeze, not at anyone in particular. But soon his anger faded, the fire in his icy eyes melted away and he was left standing in a small pine grove defeated. He looked up to the sky. A group of geese flew above, they were heading away for Leaf Bare. Shinestar sighed and sat down. He felt horrible. He felt hollow. He had some mean things to poor Softbreeze and she didn't deserve it. She just wanted what was right for the clan. Shinestar sighed deeply.

( Fuzzymask Thank you for the compliment! I also changed __ to heart in my previous post )
Softbreeze skidded to a halt when she spotted Shinestar’s still form among the trees. She approached him slowly and sat down beside him, letting her heart, still racing from her headlong rush through the forest, slow its beat so she had time to collect and order her thoughts.
“Shinestar,” she began, not looking at him, but at the patches of sky above, veined by arching tree branches that formed a protective canopy above them. “When a leader joins StarClan, the responsibility of a Clan’s well-being is passed down to the deputy, who becomes the new leader. The ultimate goal of every leader that has ever led a Clan has been, or should have been, ensuring that their Clan is thriving now and will thrive after them. My father, Foxstar, spent his life taming this forest for GorgeClan so we could settle peacefully in our new home. Settling the forest was what needed to be done to ensure GorgeClan’s survival, so that’s what he did.
“Now, however, it seems that this territory has become unsafe for us, and we must leave in order to guarantee our safety. If we left, we would not be disrespecting and undermining Foxstar’s legacy, but rather holding it up and continuing it. You see, my father’s ultimate goal was not to care for this territory, but to care for this Clan. Do you understand me?” Softbreeze glanced sideways at her leader, hoping he was distanced enough from his initial anger to be able to comprehend what she’d said.

Ashpaw glanced back at Robinkit with a smirk. "Don't peek!" She teased before hurrying after Tigerpaw. She followed closely behind the tom as they went to the nursery in search of a hiding spot. "Shh," She whispered, brushing against his fur as she squeezed into the hiding spot next to him. It was a tight fit, but she managed to hide herself completely so nothing was poking out for Robinkit to easily spot them. It felt weird playing hide-and-seek in the nursery, but she actually kind of liked it. Brought back so many memories of her days as a kit.

(Hey all! I'd like to join this little adventure if that's okay with you guys. I think I'm going to have three characters to start two warriors and a loner:
Pyrefrost: A tall and lean dark ginger tom with a pale underbelly and black stripe going from his head to his tail tip, black eartips and light paws. His eyes are where he gets the second part of his name, being ice blue. A tom known for his ability to run and run fast. Quiet yet confident and passionate. He bottles things up and keeps too much to himself sometimes.
{If his name is too odd, I can change it for you. I know its a little out there.}
Dawnlight- A beautiful golden she-cat with white markings and patches and bright green eyes. Though her appearance may be graceful, she's actually quite clumsy. She's very outgoing and does her best to make others smile and laugh. Sadly, she has a tendency to fall in love at the drop of a feather. Inwardly, she's very introspective and unsure.
Andromeda: A young loner who lives just beyond the border of the clan. Large, fluffy black she-cat with white and gray markings. Her face is split, with half being back and half being white, gray markings under her eyes. Her eyes are two different shades of blue, one being cyan and the other being indigo. Mysterious yet kind, Andromeda wants to be a part of the clan but has no idea how to go about it.
I would also include some rumors about them to help with the roleplay but this post is already long enough lol. If you need mentors, both of the warriors could be mentors, I'll probably type some starters for them in another post)

(Here are the starters. Sorry again for the length)
Pyrefrost trotted into camp, his sides heaving from his run steam puffing from his mouth and nose. In his jaws was a small sparrow, since he tried not to come back from a run empty pawed. The tom dropped it at the fresh kill pile and sighed slightly sitting near it and wrapping his tail around himself. Most of the time a run would clear his mind, but it hadn't helped. The waning daylight and low food still cluttered this thoughts.
Dawnlight was also in camp, doing her best to bury herself in her thick fur and shield herself from the cold. She pushed at some of the frost with her forepaw, shaking it off when it stuck. The she cat had gotten up to watch the sunrise, and while it had been pretty, she'd almost fallen out the tree she was sitting in and broken her neck when she tried to get down. The thought of it caused her haunches to rise slightly. Determined to get something done, she rose to her paws and trotted around camp.
Andromeda pushed her way out of her den, shaking her fur and pawing at the frozen ground. Her fur was fluffed out against the frigid air. The loner tucked back into her den and pulled out two birds she'd caught the day prior. She'd hadn't had much to do. No one was around for her to talk to and finding enough food for herself hadn't been hard, so she kept hunting. Trotting through the woods, she made her way to the Gorgeclan border, just barely dipping her head across it and dropping the fresh kill there. Finally she pushed some dirt over it to hide the scent and sat at the border. Maybe someone would be along and she could chat.

The clan will not survive a Leaf Bare without shelter and food." His gaze fell to his paws. "We have to leave but now now, we should leave when the weather gets warmer." Shinestar said all of this very quietly.

Robinkit sighed and skittered off towards the nursery.

Her blue eyes scanned the camp before her. It seemed most cats were either milling around or out hunting. That's when she spotted Pyrefrost. She chuckled to her self and crouched low to the ground. She slowly made her way over to her firend and once she reached him she jabbed him with one of her paws. "Are you trying to become the fresh kill pile?" She asked softly.
"I hate the cold weather." Badger muttered as she tracked through the forest. He had been sent on a hunting patrol and was rather angry about. But here he was following the Gorgeclan border. Maybe he could find some mice around here or something. Badger paused suddenly. He lifted his nose to the air and sniffed the frigid air. "Another cat." He whispered. The breeze must have blew the sent across the boarder, but he must be sure. The bulky black and white tom quickened his pace until he reached a small pile of dug up dirt. Badger tilted his head and poked it with his paw. He had not noticed the she-cat right in front of him yet. Badger was a bit of a air head at times.

Soon they reached the camp, it was a bit busy as cats were milling around and some were patching up the warriors den getting it ready fro the first snow fall. Shinestar sighed softly.
