Yeah! I absolutely adore Flintfang. I loved in Tigerclaw's Fury, when he refused to use his claws on Tallpoppy when Tigerclaw told him to. Did you know that he's Blackstar's littermate? He and Deerfoot were the MVPs of Tigerclaw's Fury. Me too! I vaguely remember Tigerclaw's Fury (I should really reread it). I love Tallpoppy, if only because of her suffix. I wish the Erins used it more than just once. For the LONGEST time I imagined Tallpoppy as a tortoiseshell (I still do sometimes) but she's actually a light brown tabby I think

Because of her I associate Poppy- or -poppy with light brown tabbies now

(I love Poppyfrost for the name too) Ooh, I've been waiting to hear that question my whole life, my friend! Let's see...there's Poppydawn, Poppyfrost, Morningflower (pretty much all the names that end with -flower like Dawnflower, Darkflower, Rainflower, Lilyflower, and oh! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Star Flower's name), Leafdapple, Echosong, Ivypool, Honeyfern, Fallowsong (all the -songs too I think), Hawkfrost (I love -frost too), Wing Shadow Over Water, Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Squirrelflight, Silverstream...okay, I'll stop now. Thank you soo much for asking. As you can see, names are my thing. And what about you? Hit me with them ALL like I've hit you Speaking of -song made me remember Fernsong. At first I thought it odd for a tom, but I've gotten used to it now. However, it still has an unmistakably feminine quality to it imo

I love the Juniper prefix and also the Rook prefix, so I really like Juniperclaw and Rooktail's names. I absolutely adore the spring suffix, and Dewspring is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL name. I also really like Harespring Skip is an adorable suffix. I love Hickorynose's name, and also Meadowslip's. Midgepelt and Mumblefoot are also names I really like. The names from back then are super pretty too, like Hazel Burrow, Shivering Rose, I think there's a Morning Fire and a Mossfire, I also really like the name Jumpfoot, it's funny. Sunfall is another gorgeous name, so is Reedfeather.

ChickenI also like Rook- and Juniper-. While I like Juniper Branch, I'm not much of a fan of the -tail in Rooktail. I think something like Rookfeather would be better. I love -spring too! I haven't been keeping up with the latest books so haven't seen Dewspring, but you're right, it is a nice name. As I have already mentioned I'm also a fan of -skip. It even made me actually like the name Toadskip, even though I have a thing against Toad-. Meadowslip is fun to say and it's a smoothly flowing name. I think we have similar tastes XD Yet again I agree with you that Hazel Burrow, Shivering Rose, Morning Fire, and Mossfire are beautiful names. It's just that if I listed all my favorites you would have to scroll through a pages-long post Oh, I'm also a fan of Reedfeather lol

Because Chive is super unique, and 2, because I find it interesting that a medicine cat has the claw suffix.

Chicken Agree with you there as well. Plus it just has a nice ring to it Agreed, Chiveclaw was a total sweetheart in Goosefeather's curse, so was Mumblefoot I think. They were both really nice to Goosefeather when everyone else was being total jerks to him

So I like the cat for both the name and his personality WindClan sucks, but they have a really good track record when it comes to medicine cats Chiveclaw - total sweetheart Hawkheart - he's a bit grouchy, and there was that time he killed Moonflower defending his herb stocks, but he was really kind to Yellowfang in Yellowfang's Secret, and he believed that Deadfoot could become a warrior despite his disability. I bet if Deadfoot had been in ThunderClan, they'd be like, "Nope, you have to be a medicine cat, or retire to the elder's den." Barkface - total sweetheart, he has a really dumb name though. Kestrelflight - total sweetheart

Chicken Again, totally agree with you! And I've always hated -face because it sounds like an insult. Like, ThunderClan cats should call their enemies fox-faces or something. And fish-face was actually used in RiverClan. So it's kinda like Foxheart, but hers is more so because her actuall full name, Foxheart, is an insult Agreed! I don't like it either I looked up the meaning once, and I got appearance of face, or attractive

Barkface makes me think of someone who's always yelling and swearing, and always verbally nagging others. Barking in other people's faces, you might say. Even in the sens of tree bark, I don't like BArk- because it also sounds awkward and ungainly as a prefix

However, Barkface, it hurts my throat to say out loud, and it kinda sounds like Barf face. I also don't like the prefixes Bramble and Bumble because it's uncomfortable to say those names out loud too

But his father IS Spiderleg soo However, unlike Rosepetal, he got more of Daisy's build.

I can't help but think of him as the same age as Rosepetal and Toadstep, not their father. Like, is he even capable of being a father? Apparently not. I can't imagine

I can't imagine He apparently didn't think so either, because there was like a whole scene of him not paying any attention to them, or ever visiting them, or anything. I feel that way about a LOT of characters, like Scorchfur, Birchfall, Mousewhisker (though, I can imagine Berrynose as old, probably because he has kits), Alderheart, Puddleshine, Kestrelflight, Willowshine, etc

Chicken To be honest, all the cats of FIrestar's generation and those preceding feel like my friends, comrades, and/or enemies. And everyone else is just young. It's like I'm an elder right alongside Graystripe and Sandstorm, and always think of everyone as "those young 'uns" Even Squirrelflight and Leafpool's generation! Aren't they supposed to have died already? Like, they're so young! They seem to be living FOREVER now. I mean, Whitestorm was five years old, and was like, "Welp, it's time for this old man to retire soon!" And here's like 13 year old Thornclaw still patrolling like it's his early warrior days or something.

Chicken It seems like Thornclaw had his warrior ceremony just a few moons ago. I can't get that perception out of head like XD Littlecloud is another character I could never imagine as old. Speaking of Littlecloud... imagine if there was a kit, who was born as the runt, so they got the name Littlekit, but by the time they were a warrior, they were HUGE, and like, imagine this cat named like idk Littlefoot, who was this HUGE hulking cat XD
