Ooh, I like the new chapter! I'm so glad Hollowpaw survived! I really don't trust Yelloweye. Maybe I'm being overcautious, but possessing Hollowpaw without asking and the second time Hollowpaw doesn't even remember what she did? Not promising. How're you doing? |

Fair enough. Good reasons not to trust somebody, but adrenaline is also a hell of a thing. You'd be surprised what people do and not remember in the heat of the moment. Not saying that's what it is, but it's a possibility. And I can't have my main character dying so soon, of course...yet. I'm just fine, currently. Thank you for asking. How about yourself? |

Of course Dappleleaf's backstory is sad! Seems like she really misses her eyesight. But I guess it helped to mould her into the medicine cat we all know and love... Loving the way you're mixing character moments with the action in this fic, by the way! I'm glad you're fine. I'm pretty bored, I guess, but otherwise alright. |

Yeah, a good backstory isn't quite right without at least some sadness in it. And thanks! I appreciate that a lot.) Maybe you could do some writing to curve the boredom? Like a one-shot or something maybe? Or draw? I don't know, those are just things I do when I'm bored, besides playing video games, lol. |

Nice chapter! We have answers! I guess we know why Gentlestripe is interested in Hollowpaw, if he's her grandfather. (Although that still leaves the question of why Yelloweye's involved...)
As for Sootbreeze's story, it makes me more sad than anything else. You've got to feel sorry for her - abandoning Hollowpaw was absolutely the wrong decision, but she must've felt she had no other options. |

True. I can see where you're coming from, but even as the writer I'm so mad at Sootbreeze for what she did. She definitely did it out of fear of being abandoned by her family, but it also was not okay to dump her kit. She didn't even try to see if the clan would still accept her or not; she just assumed they wouldn't. Mistakes were made. |

Thanks! Hollowpaw's reaction was another thing I wasn't sure about how well I was conveying it. I've never had to experience such emotions (thankfully) so writing it down was honestly pretty difficult. Always good to know it turned out well and realistic |

Thank you! Good guess. They do both start with 'Y' and it could make sense. Either way, Yelloweye definitely has her own agenda, so there's a good chance she's spinning at least a few webs of lies.
Do you have any ideas as to who she might come clean to, if she does? Dappleleaf? Rosepaw? Maybe even Webpaw? |
