(What classes are you taking? Oh, I've just been trying to catch up with all the various internet backlog. I'm staying on top of my schoolwork. It's been interesting to try and catch up with so many sites when I've been gone for upwards of two months. Makes my MIAness from the forums look like a day. )

Well, at this point i'm not so sure. A lot of them were moved from in person to online, and I really struggle with online classes lol I'm stuck between dropping them and trying for some other classes or just suffering through it. Just gotta figure it out before the fall semester starts.) And that sounds good! It's always a relief to be on top of things enough that you can do things you enjoy!)

(Oh dear! Good luck and I hope you work it out! I've been trying to get my accommodations to go through for school, but with everything going on that's a bit chaotic.
Today I'll probably end up trying to shed the stress by playing Minecraft or something. I am slooooowly regaining my ability to RP. Work in progress.)

You've got that right. At first all that's going on was better for my situation, but now it's just a hassle haha) Ooooo that'll be fun! Minecraft is a fantastic game to just sit and play for five hours haha.)

Fun fun! I got around to drawing a bit for Art Fight today, redrew an old warriors OC, and drew all my characters for a Pokemon RP i'm in :3 As for big projects, I should be working on Luckless but.... sometimes I can't bring myself to draw a whole ass page lol
I also had an idea for another comic and doodled some concepts for it. But it's an idea that I won't be able to do unless I get better at art/writing. I actually have a bunch of ideas like that, but this is my most recent one lmao)

Leon glanced at the bottle, but thought it better not to ask. The detective started to rummage around, carefully placing things back in their original places as he did so. He was a pro at this kind of thing after all. Do something for a couple of years and you got good at it. He eventually made his way to a small desk of to the side and pulled open the drawers to see if he could find anything interesting. If the priestess had once been here, there must be some sort of evidence to lead them to her once again. No one entered a place without leaving something behind. There was a second and then somehow Percival had found his way to a different part of the house. He didn't go for the drawers, he started scanning the pictures on the walls in this particular room. They were old. Some frames held maps rather than pictures. He looked over them carefully, even the maps too faded to read and the pictures too grainy to pick out. "Why come here?" he murmured. "Why him? Why do you kill who you kill?" Meanwhile, the paper content within the drawers within the other room was a bit scant, but at least seemed to have a couple of interesting pieces here and there. A set of old bills, a letter to a friend never sent, a old newspaper. It looked like while people had been staying here that a lot of things hadn't actually been touched. Instead, it seemed to include a lot of items that alone held no real value but together told a story of lives interrupted. Percival had walked away as if he didn't care, but these things were all his. Or included aspects of his life in the case of writing to friends who had then sent things back. They were snapshots which had never been seen. And somehow the priestess connected to this. Somehow, she had found it convenient to use Percival. Why?

OOOOOO :0 )
It was frustrating to have so many things to look at, and find so few things. There were obviously many people living here, but none for a long long time. He sighed and shook his head, returning some bills to their spot and closing the drawer. So far he hadn't found anything connecting to the priestess. She must know what she was doing and had gotten rid of anything connecting to her. Leon shook his head. No. If you were somewhere, you left something. He just had to find it...

"Check places vampires would hide things," Percival said, reappearing as if Leon's frustration had summoned him. It was a nice thought, but Percival's own frustration had driven him out of the back rooms. "This is domestic stuff. Things that any guest could stumble across. The fact that there's blood in the fridge notwithstanding, it would be better to check places dark and out of the way." He pointed up, though his expression seemed tired. "Last one to the attic gets ten bucks? Eh?" It was the sorriest attempt at a joke that he'd ever made and he knew it. He just shrugged and turned, heading for where he knew the stairs up to the little attic crawlspace would be. "Coming?"

"I have been looking." Leon insisted, keeping himself calm but obviously more than a little ticked off. He sighed and followed the vampire to the attic. If this was the last place they could look, things were more dire than he was hoping they'd end up being. Not that he was about to give up. This was his case and Leon had personal stakes in it now. He was going to figure it out, even if it took him the rest of his life.

(Any ideas what they should find?) Carefully climbing up to the attic, Percival pushed the panel open to reveal the dusty interior of the highest point in the building. There wasn’t any dust to the room, so he assumed that either someone had been cleaning or someone had actually been putting something up here. He moved out of the way so that Leon could also climb up. Percival surveyed the various collection of items that were visible outside of boxes. Hats, coat racks, a couple of exposed files and a box or two. He could only remember a couple of things up here that were for sure his or … or Marcus’. “Looking when you’re in a house like this is a bit trickier,” he said. “Vampires hide things on principle and practice, regardless of abiding by human laws or not. That might be a helpful way to think about it.”

Sure!)
Leon followed the vampire into the room and looked around. They rummaged around for a while until Leon spotted something that caught his interest. He wasn't sure why it stood out to him, but an old looking clock sat on a dusty cabinet. It was strange that it was sitting on a dust covered item, but the clock itself looked like it had been there for less time. Tilting his head, the detective made his way over and picked it up. Turning it around in his hand he saw that there was a place to open the back. He did so and a small paper fell out. Eyebrows raised he picked it up to find that there was an address scrawled onto it "You know where this is?" he question, turning and holding the paper out to Percival.

"Yes," said Percival with a frown. Even with the low light and the fact that Leon wasn't exactly close, he could still see the words written on the scrap. He stepped forward, gripping Leon's hand with a slightly sudden movement. Then he sniffed at the scrap of paper. But it was already no good. Leon's sent had already gotten all over it and time had done the rest long ago. "The clock isn't mine," he said. He dropped Leon's hand. He didn't mention that he hated the metaphor. Like they were running out of time. It was annoying and like those who'd been in this room before were mocking them. "We should check it out," said Percival, stepping away and toward the exit. He tried to ignore Leon for the most part, but he was wary about taking a human to someplace that was written on a scrap of paper found in a house for vampires.

It was a bit weird to have someone sniffing a scrap of paper like a dog, but Leon decided not to mention it. He pulled out his phone and looked up the address "It's a bit far off, but we can make it today. Unless you think it's a trap." Percival knew how vampires thought, Leon had little to no experience with them. And he wasn't about to walk in somewhere only for his ass to be murdered the same way his partner had died.

"Likely," said Percival. "But it seems like it should be an old one." He looked around at the dirt one more time. There wasn't much to say about the attic other than the fact that no one had been here as recently as they had - but someone had still been up here. What that meant was that they probably needed to consider where they were going and why, but Percival didn't think that the Priestess would be waiting for them in the flesh. He'd hate to be wrong though. "Your call," he said softly. "I don't know what you have on you - what you have to prepare yourself for whatever is there. Do you think you could fight a vampire if you had to?"

Leons eyes narrowed and he nodded "I made sure to take precautions after the incident with my last partner." he tried to keep his speech strictly work oriented. If he thought about it too long he'd get... emotional. Shaking his head he headed back down "Let's go. If someone is there we won't want to miss them. I'll inform my boss of our plan once we get to the car. I don't think she'll stop us."

(I love how they're both "don't think about who's dead. Maybe if we never deal with it, everything will be fine!" Both of them are just gonna see a sad movie or something and instantly break down.)
"I doubt it," Percival said with a sigh. It wasn't as if he wanted someone to stop them, but in the end it might have been better for the both of them to not have to deal with the consequences of what the Priestess had done. But even as he thought it, he knew it wasn't true. Not for him anyway. He turned to the exit of the attic, then descended down to the next floor. He did glance back to check on Leon, then continued on. He paused in the entry hall. This might be the last time he came here. If the Priestess came here, then who knew what she would do to the place if she learned they were here. And the people he'd used to call friends who had been tending to the place ...? He ripped one of the smaller frames off the wall, trying to be as nonchalant as possible as he shoved it into his pocket. He and Leon had something in common. They both weren't talking about someone they'd lost. "Come on. Since you wont let me drive," Percival tossed over his shoulder. He pushed the front door open.
