Blackpelt - mentions: Sagewhisker
Blackpelt laid outside the elder' s den, finding it a bit stuffy. Despite his old age, he still had a warrior's heart that just didn't go with his body. The tom gazed over the clan, memories flashing in his head. His first step out of the nursery, touching noses with his mentor as he was named an apprentice, even his first battle. He loved his clan and wished he could do more for it, but he doubted he'd be able to keep up well with the younger and more fit cats as they served the clan. It saddened him, but he was fairly content with letting the little bundles of fluff that would be Pineclan's next generation of warriors roll at his paws as he told stories of bravery and loss.
Blackpelt gave a light purr of greeting when he spotted Sagewhisker approaching. "Hello, Sagewhisker. I'm quite excited, yes. Being an elder is rather boring. Probably why many grow cranky during their last moons. It's rather nice to possibly be the one to inspire Pineclan's next leader to become the best they can be."
Ears twitching at the sound of Acornstar's call, he rose up to join his clanmates at the Tall Stump. "Come on then, let's see what the fuss is about," he mewed friendly to Sagewhisker before joining the gathering cats.
Featherpaw - mentions: open
Featherpaw had yet to make too much progress with finding his mentor before Acornstar summoned the clan. With a sigh, figuring he'll see Thunderfoot among the other cats of the clan, he obediently reported to Tall Stump and sat among his clanmates.
Hearing his mother being called was the first thing Featherpaw noticed. He couldn't help but feel a burn of pride listening to how much Acornstar trusted his mother. He had to remember she wasn't just some old queen. Pebblerush was a warrior. Featherpaw was going to be too, eventually. He wanted to make her proud and be able to hear that Acornstar trusts his judgement as well. And he will. Eventually.
Then, the battle training. Excitement rushed through Featherpaw's veins as he began to squirm, any drowsiness from his late start of the day completely gone. Maybe this will show Acornstar he was ready to be a warrior! Of course, this was a ridiculous thought. Featherpaw had only been an apprentice for two moons. Still, he was eager to prove himself, like any other apprentice. He could feel his skin fur hot underneath his coat as he noticed Acornstar's gaze on him. The apprentice immediately tried to straightened himself up, but was too nervous to meet the leader's eyes.
Fallencrow - mentions: Honeyshine
Wait for their personalities to show? Personalities don't settle in very quick. The kits will have to open their eyes, begin walking and talking.. and for the kits to remain nameless once they've gotten these skills. It seemed strange, but it is a queen's choice what to name her kits. "I don't think I'd be able to wait /that/ long.."
"Ah, my littermates were named after plants," Fallencrow shook her head fondly at the memory of her brothers. "Leafwish, Grasseye and Branchleap. I was small when I was born, so I was quickly buried under my littermates. My father hadn't discovered me really until I tumbled out of the nest and made myself known. That's why I'm the only exception to the plant-based names."
At the sound of the meeting being called, Fallencrow managed to lift herself just enough to settle outside of the nursery. The spot was perfect. Not overly crowded and she could easily hear Acornstar speak. Seeing the news what's anything too important, she began to wonder where her mate was seeing that his patrol had arrived safely the night before."
Spiderwhisker: mentions: open
Spiderwhisker arrived back to camp just in time to hear Acornstar's call. She rushed her catch to the pile, the rabbit and two birds she snagged, and hurried to join her clan. Her stomach moaned in protest to not bringing some food with her, but she figured it was rude to eat while the leader was announcing something. She'll get breakfast afterwards.

Stonepaw // [ open ] mentions Swiftpaw, Loneheart Stonepaw paused for moment from his tumbling with his brother. The young tom stood up and glanced towards Accornstar. "I wonder what's up," he whispered to Swiftpaw. "We better go," he meowed, wrinkling his nose. It was be bad taste to skip an clan meeting. The gray tom quickly made his way over and settled down between two warriors. His ears perked forward as he listened to what Accornstar was speaking. Battle training, he echoed in his head as his green eyes brightened. Stonepaw couldn't help but puff his chest. He was a good fighter, this would be fun and maybe challenging since all the apprentices were going.
Stonepaw couldn't help but feel a pang of nerves. If all of mentors and apprentices were coming, then that meant almost his whole family. His mother and his two siblings, this might not go as planned. On the plus side, at least Thornpelt wouldn't be there. His green eyes skittering around camp, trying to find Loneheart. Accornstar didn't mention him in the patrol, so Stonepaw wasn't sure if he was to go with the apprentices or the follow up patrol.
[ whoops. I didn't realize you changed Stonepaw's mentor to Loneheart. xD let me change my post around. ]

Sagewhisker (mentions Blackpelt, Acornstar, Honeyshine) Sagewhisker purred at the elder's words, trying to show his understanding and compassion for the 'cranky' elders. Blackpelt had told Sagewhisker many stories when he was young and he was just about to ask the elder to indulge him when Acornstar's voice rang clear through camp. He followed Blackpelt over to the Tall Stump and sat among his clanmates, watching everyone's telltale signs of their true emotions. He was happy to hear that nothing had been found but knew another patrol would need to go out regardless. He was just noticing a few bristled pelts when he was startled to hear his name called for the patrol. Acornstar had his full attention after that but he didn't miss the resentful look his sister Hollowfeather gave him. He knewn it was just because she wanted the clan to be safe and wanted to make sure she could go so it was done right. But he didn't think this was that serious of a mission, it was just a follow-up patrol. As the meeting broke up Sagewhisker looked hopefully at the fresh kill pile. Seeing only enough food for the queens and elders he decided to pass despite his grumbling belly. He could smell that his other sister had gone to the nursery but he didn't want to crowd her if she was busy so he went over to her den to wait for the herbs and the rest of his traveling party.

Pebblerush - Featherpaw; mentions Acornstar, Sagewhisker, Loneheart
Pebblerush moved her attention to her mate as he emerged from his den, smiling to herself as she watches him make his way up to the tall stump. At the call of a meeting, she rises to her paws and sits close to the stump, looking up at the leader, and the father of her kits, as he began the meeting. She was happy to hear that Thornpelt's patrol had nothing to report, then widened her eyes hearing that she would lead the next patrol. Pebblerush couldn't contain her purr, feeling her pelt heat up and like a young warrior again as she saw the way he was looking down at her. It felt like the early stages of their relationship when the two were both pining after one another, before Acornstar was made leader and became busy with the duties that came with running a clan. With being in charge of the border patrol that meant that they would be gone for a couple of sunrises, probably the longest she'll be gone from camp and away from her kits for the first time in a long time. This made her heart fall briefly before she reminded herself that they would be fine, they had their mentors keeping them busy with training and Acornstar would be around.
Once the meeting was dismissed, Pebblerush approached Sagewhisker and Loneheart separately to tell them to eat up quickly and meet Honeyshine by the medicine cats den to get their traveling herbs, then the she-cat padded over to Featherpaw and greeting him with an affectionate lick on the top of his head. "Stay out of trouble while I'm gone, you and your brother both." She lightly teased, noticing the nervous energy surrounding her son. "Just focus on your training, though I'm sure it won't hurt to impress your father while you're at it." Pebblerush smiles gently and places her tail on top of his own. "I won't be gone for long, alright?"
Honeyshine - Sagewhisker, Loneheart; mentions, Acornstar, Fallencrow
"Well, maybe you could take some inspiration from any of those names. It might be a nice way to honor your siblings." Honeyshine said with a smile, though along with Fallencrow heard Acornstar's voice from the nursery. Honeyshine glanced to Fallencrow and made sure the queen got up fine before following her out to hear what the meeting was about. She noted that her brother was being sent out on the border patrol and sent a quick prayer to Starclan under her breath that he would return back safely, as well as the rest of the patrol. At his dismissal, Honeyshine noticed Fallencrow looking for her mate and frowned slightly before approaching the queen briefly. "Just let me know if something happens." Then with that she dipped her head in a farewell and began to pad towards her den to get the travel herbs ready.
As Honeyshine grew closer to her den she noticed Sagewhisker already waiting for her, which caused a smile to form on her maw. She paused briefly, realizing that Loneheart was looking for her so she brushed up beside him briefly. "Looking for me?" She teased, padding ahead of him now, flicking her tail to indicate for the calico to follow her. Honeyshine greeted her brother, Sagewhisker, warmly by nuzzling her cheek against his own. "If you two just stay out here I'll be right back with the herbs." She told the two of them as she slipped into her den, planning on bringing out enough bundles for all four cats, even if the remaining two had yet to show up.
Kestrelpaw - Hollowfeather
Kestrelpaw was following her mentor out before they both stopped and gathered for the meeting, glancing over to Pebblerush when it was announced that she would be leading the next border patrol. She quickly noticed the way that her mentor deflated when her name wasn't called for the patrol but her brothers was, it personally didn't bother Kestrelpaw too much but she was excited for her training to be watched by Acornstar. Already antsy to go out, the apprentice was already headed back for the den entrance when her mentors voice rang out. 'Why would I feel bad that Stonepaw gets to go? More training for me.' She thought, not really responding to Hollowfeather and just followed her out into the forest.

Featherpaw - mentions: Pebblerush Featherpaw blinked at the sound of paws approaching him. He turned around just in time to see his mother's face, his face morphing into a smile instinctively as he felt the familiar tongue stroke back some fur on top of his head. At least there was no moss. "Aw, Mom," Featherpaw purred softly. "We'll be fine." At Pebblerush's advice, Featherpaw couldn't help but puff out a little bit. "He'll be so impressed, he'll make me his deputy. You'll see." With her final goodbye before she left to do her job as a warrior, Featherpaw headbutted his mother's chest and gave a soft purr. Some of him does wish he was a small kit again, but that thought was quickly dismissed as he remembered he was meant to find Thunderfoot and head off. "Bye Mom- or.. Pebblerush! Oh, I don't know, see you!" ___ Fallencrow - mentions: Honeyshine, open Fallencrow hummed and gazed down at her stomach, currently at rest in the calm moments when her kits were resting inside of her and not moving around like they usually where. "We'll see.." Fallencrow simply shrugged at the medicine cat with a smile. "They say you usually find a name you're happy with once you give birth and see the little ones for the first time. Hopefully that'll be true for me." After Fallencrow had scanned the crowd, she rose to her paws to look more actively. With a nod to Honeyshine's words, she turned and went about, looking for her mate. Maybe they could discuss better names together. ___ ashwind sure we can!

Emberfox shook his head, deciding it would probably be best to visit his mate first. His amber gaze skittered around camp, landing on Swiftpaw for a moment. He wondered if any of tom's siblings were awake. It would probably be best if he took Maple paw with him when he went out on patrol. Dark ginger tom snagged a mouse off the pile off the fresh-kill pile and trotted over towards the nursery. His paws faltering for a moment when he saw Dawnflower coming out of the nursery. He stirred his paws towards her and set the mouse down in front of her. His eyes flashing, "What are you doing?" he asked, touching his nose to her ear as his gaze flickered down to her plump stomach. She better be taking it easy, he thought mildly. He wasn't afraid to scold his mate and tell Honeyshine about this situation.

Stonepaw & Accornstar // [ ashwind ]
Stonepaw pushed himself back up onto his paws, his eyes scanning the area for his mentor. He wrinkled his nose, figuring Loneheart was already in the medicine cat den with his patrol. I don't want to disturb him. Stonepaw spotted Accornstar and he scrambled over in the leader's direction. "Hi Accornstar," he greeted with a soft, respectful tone. He shifted on his paws, glancing over towards the gathered apprentices before his gaze flickered quickly back to the brown furred tom in front of him, "Am I suppose to go with Loneheart or join the rest of the apprentices?" he asked, trying to keep his voice even. He really wanted to go with the apprentices and his siblings but he would go with his mentor if he had.

The dappled gray feline watched as her brother scale down from the oak tree. Her green gaze shifted down to the squirrel that landed in front of her. Ivyriver leaned down to sniff at the critter, instinctively before lifting her head to greet Coldfoot once again with a quiet purr. "Good catch," she meowed with a teasing gleam still shining in her eyes, "If you say so," she meowed, rolling her eyes before gently butting her head against his shoulder.
Ivyriver wasn't a huge fan of climbing trees. She was adequate at it like most cats but she preferred to have all four of her paws settled securely to the ground. She gave a nod, her gaze flickering around the forest trying to calculate where she wanted to head next. "I am always done for hunting," she meowed with a small laugh and she shrugged her shoulders, "It happens sometimes." The forest was weird, sometimes you would find a enough prey to feed the whole clan and the next time, a cat couldn't even find a mouse tail.
Oh brother, she thought and rolled her eyes at Coldfoot as she followed him. "I am sure that is how it works," she teased him as she sniffed at the ground. There were faint traces overlying each other but nothing fresh. Ivyriver picked her head back up and made a face.
[ happy birthday! <3 ]

Dawnflower and Emberfox / Blaze β‘ Dawnflower looked up as her mate padded towards her, letting out a short quiet sigh. βJust getting some fresh air.β She meowed simply at the tom. βIt reeks of moss and I want to be able to go out before Iβm left cramped up in the den for more than a couple moons.β She meowed, almost pleadingly. The She cat stared at her mate, her gaze hard. βAnd if you like it or not Iβm going out!β She said, practically demanding it. Nightstreak - Thunderfoot (πααα©αα΄ββββΊβπ)
The black and white tom had just emerged from the warriors den, groaning outloud as he stretched, feeling his bones crack beneath his pelt. He chuckles to himself, wondering if he'd just fallen asleep in a weird position and that's why he ached this morning. Taking a quick scan around camp, Nightstreak quickly noticed his older brother thundering around. A smile appears on his maw and he watches Thunderfoot pace around for a bit before finally approaching the larger tom. "Morning, Thunderfoot. You look antsy." Nightstreak bluntly pointed out with a soft chuckle, playfully bumping against him before settling down on his haunches in front of the the black and gray tom. "Did you sleep well enough?"
Thunderfoot and Nightstreak / πππππ’ Thunderfoot looked at his brother with a small chuckle. βJust bored.β He meowed simply and head butting his younger brother softly. βNot really. I was squished in my small nest.β He meowed with a smile. βWell, not my small nest. It was some other warriors nest, they took mine.β He meowed. Streamfire - patrol cat streamfire looked up at acornstar before dipping her head and standing up, shaking little bits of moss off her pelt before licking her paw and looking for the other cats.

(I was thinking of having Kestrelpaw ending up in the dark forest, and if Thunderfoot ends up as one too that might break Nightstreak's little heart, It'd be really interesting to play that out tho c: cause a bit of drama)
Nightstreak - Thunderfoot
Nightstreak couldn't help but purr as his brother head butts him, his eyes closing momentarily before blinking open. He tilts his head, a curious expression crossing his features "Someone took your nest? Who would do that?" He asked, not recalling who might've taken his older brothers sleeping spot. He had fallen asleep before the bigger tom came into the den. "That's really odd..." Nightstreak added, his voice trailing off. He pauses for a moment to hear what Acornstar had to say, realizing that Thunderfoot would have to take his apprentice training soon. One of his ears twitch and he glances to his brother. "Sounds like you'll have to take Featherpaw out soon, you're so lucky to be training the leaders apprentice!" Nightstreak praised, grinning up at Thunderfoot. "Hey, do you think maybe I could come with and watch you train? Might be good for me if I ever get an apprentice of my own. Maybe I'll get on of Dawnflower's kits, or Fallencrow's when they're old enough!"

Nightflower // in camp, mentions Pebblerush & Acornstar
Nightflower was about to respond to Pebblerush before all the commotion began. Cats joined under the Tall Stump and listened to their leader; Acornstar, also known as her brother. Nightflower felt a warmth in her chest as she watched her littermate stand above the clan as the highest ranking cat. Sometimes she couldn't even believe that her own brother was leading a whole clan. She noticed the change in Pebblerush's atmosphere as soon as her name was called to lead the border patrol. "He trusts you," she whispered in a calming tone.
Then, as soon as Acornstar finished his announcements the clan talked amongst themselves, figuring out the border patrols and hunting groups. Nightflower watched the clan peacefully and thought about joining a group for hunting, but was still unsure of herself.
Coldfoot // in the forest with Ivyriver
Coldfoot returned the eye-roll before hunching down closer to the dirt. "How about we do a little competition? We'll see which one of us can catch the most prey by Sunhigh." He sniffed the dirt in an attempt to pick up more scents of prey. Squirrels, voles, birds... Anything he could find. His tail lashed back and forth as he made eye contact with his sister.
"Come on, we might as well have a little fun before the apprentices start pestering us." Coldfoot bounded off ahead of Ivyriver in a playful way, with his ears back and eyes wild.
Hailpaw // in camp, mentions Pebblerush, Featherpaw & Acornstar
Woah... That's a lot of activity all at once. Within minutes his two friends (well, brother and friend) had left the apprentices den and joined in the center of camp to listen to Acornstar's announcements. Hailpaw sat proudly next to his brother, Featherpaw, in an attempt to attract their father's attention. Right when he started to get distracted by some other Warriors whispering to each other, he heard his mother's name being called. My parents are amazing! He felt pride bubbling in his chest as the cats dispersed into the border patrols.
Now, what do I do?

Pebblerush - Hailpaw; mentions Featherpaw and Honeyshine
Pebblerush couldn't help but chuckle as her son rushed off hurriedly, the smile remaining on her expression before she turns to Hailpaw. "That goes for you too, mister." She told her other son, nuzzling against his cheek. "Make sure your brother doesn't get into trouble and that you both listen to your mentors. Train hard, alright?" Pebblerush gave Hailpaw an affectionate lick farewell, looking at her son one last time, pride shining in her gaze before she pads over to the medicine cats den to meet up with Honeyshine and the others. Excitement bubbled in her chest and while she would like to express her farewells to her mate, she knew he would be busy talking to other cats after the meeting. She had to remind herself once again that she would be back within a couple of days.

Sagewhisker (mentions Honeyshine, Loneheart, and Pebblerush) The tom began to purr as his sister approached and returned her affectionate nuzzle. They looked very similar, except his patches were silver and hers were gold. It was Hollowfeather who looked different with her browns and blacks, but he knew it came from the family somewhere. He was so proud of Honeyshine for taking care of the clan the way she did. He always knew she had a different path than he and Hollowfeather but was supportive the whole time. Even now a smile spread across his face as he watched her go into the medicine cat's den, now solely her den. He smiled over at Loneheart, wanting to share his joy and excitement about going on patrol together. He noticed Streamfire out the corner of his eye and waved his tail to call her over. As Pebblerush approached he scooted over to give her some space to wait, joy still making his chest swell. He had completely forgotten about Hollowfeather's glare and was fully focused on fulfilling his duty to his clan. Hollowfeather and Kestrelpaw As they entered the Mossy Hollow the black and tabby she cat turned to face her apprentice. "Alright Kestrelpaw, looks like we're the first ones so you and I will train together until more apprentices show up." the she cat said, stretching to loosen up her muscles. "I know you've gotten the duck and twist down", Hollowfeather said, referring to the simple defensive move, "so today we are going to work on your teeth grip and hopefully a scruff shake". She sat across from her apprentice as she explained, "So, you're going to target your opponent's extremities - like their legs, tail, scruff, or ears - and sink in your teeth and hold. It's similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws will be free to fight. And the scruff shake is when you secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponent's neck; then shake violently until they are too rattled to fight back. It's most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong enough throw will stun or kill them". She looked at her apprentice, wondering if she got all that, "So you're going to - gently - start practicing on me and we can move up from there. Ready?". πππππ’

Hailpaw // in camp, mentions Pebblerush
The young tom couldn't help but let out a loud purr when he received his mothers attention. "I'll make sure Featherpaw is kept in line," he mumbled as his mother walked away. "And don't worry! I'll show you that I'm going to be the best Warrior around!" He bounded off happily, in search of something to do. He knew Ivyriver had most likely already left for hunting, but maybe he could catch up- or join somebody else?
He searched around for any Warriors that were willing to take him out of camp. He stared at his father, wondering if some day he could reach the same position of being the leader of Pineclan. Hailpaw's nerves began to bubble with excitement.
