Introduction:
You find yourself in a mountainous forest with the rain and wind beating against your pelt. You aren't even sure when it started raining or when the wind suddenly picked up. You lower yourself and try to push through while doing your best not to slip on the wet rocks and dirt. Eventually, you managed to find a large willow tree to take shelter underneath. You take a moment to catch your breath until you hear moment near by. You look around wondering what could be out there, until something lands on your back and pins you to the ground. "Don't move or else!" A female voice hissed in your ear. You stop your writhing and see just ahead a all black tom stalking towards you. "Look who we have here!" He growled his yellow eyes glaring hard at you. "Are you here to spy on us or to steal our prey?" He challenged as he stands in front of you. The she-cat on top of you digs her claws into your fur. "I think we ought to teach them a lesson! Show those rogues that we aren't to be messed with!"
You freeze scared on what may happen until you hear a new voice. "Stand down you two. I don't think this means any harm." A grey looking tabby walks forward and stops to look down at you. The black tom takes a small step back while the she-cat leaps off of you. You rise to your feet and shakes your fur sending water droplets and grass everywhere. You prepare yourself unsure of what will happen next. The tom inspects you and twitches his whiskers at you. "Not many cats like to come out this way. Are you lost?" He asked tilting his head a little. He gives you time to answer before speaking again. "Please forgive Shadowblaze and Lightingwhisper, we are wary of any cats who venture this deep into our territory. This land belongs to Tempestclan and we guard it with our lives. If you are lost, I can guide you the best I can but if you perhaps want more or a place to rest I can escort you back to camp." Shadowblaze takes a step forward. "Pardon me Wolfstar but this stranger could be dangerous! What if they try and report back to their leader?" Wolfstar flicked his tail. "I don't think this one is apart of that group. However, if this one turns out to be a traitor, I will gladly let you and a few other warriors show them the error of their ways." You gulp feeling your fur tingle at the thought. Wolfstar notices your fear and lets out a low chuckle. "Besides, I see something unique in them. Not many can survive this long in a storm. So what's your choice will you leave or join us? The choice is yours."

Tempestclan cats are a hardy, fierce and paranoid bunch of cats. These cats value honor, strength and above all else loyalty. They like to show off their skills and holds the strongest or bravest cats with the utmost respect. The paranoia comes from their superstitious beliefs, legends and the threat of a rogue gang. Those wishing to join will have a tough job ahead of them. Tempestclan cats range in various shapes and sizes. They have muscular limbs from climbing the various rocks, trees and cliffs. Darker pelt colors are common for blending into their surroundings however, lighter colors are not uncommon.
Territory
TempestClan territory consist of a mountainous forest that stretches to the valley below to the mountains peaks way up high. The land is plague with raging storms and squally winds. If it's not storming then it's at least raining a little. There sun does come out but those days don't happen to often.
Prey includes, mice, squirrels, birds, fish shrews ect
Predators include, twolegs, birds of prey, bears, cougars, foxes and occasional wolf
Landmarks:
The Training Rock The training rock is a flat area that has a large rock sitting right in the middle. The rock has may claw marks from over the years. This is where mentors bring their apprentices to train. The rock is perfect for teaching newly made apprentice how to climb.
The Camping Grounds The camping grounds are usually quiet but occasionally there will be twolegs who set up tents and stay for a while. The Tempestclan cats try and steer clear of this area. However, this area does need to be supervised. There are times where the twoleg leaves the fire going and that could be a threat. A patrol will carefully approach the flame and kick dirt on the fire until it goes out.
The Whispering Cave This is a cave system that is connected to some old mine shafts. Deep within the cave is a tunnel that leads to an underground spring. This is where the medicine cat and leader go to commune with Starclan. This place is known as the whispering cave due to always hearing faint sounds and whispers. Some believe parts of the cave is cursed and that should never go further in. Apprentices like to dare each other to see who can go in the farthest.
The Gushing River The Gushing River is a river that is always flowing. The river stretches from the top of the mountain peaks and goes all the way down going towards the lake or branching off towards smaller streams. Parts of the river are safe to cross and fish but during heavy rain, the river is becomes a raging torrent and the current is strong enough to bring you down. Apprentices are warned not to cross the river when it's raging like this.

Camp is a old logging camp that has been abandoned. The area is overgrown and sits at the base of a large steep hill. Typically, the cats stay within one of the large logging piles that are scattered around. However, during bad weather, the cats will take shelter within the wooden twoleg dens. The nursery is located in the second building. The medicine cat stays in the third building along with the elders. Usually, keeping their herb stocks underneath the cabin. The warriors and apprentices usually stick to one of the large log piles. The leader and occasionally his mate take shelter in what appears to be a main building facing the others.

Duel of Honor The Duel of Honor happens when one warrior challenges the other to a duel. This usually happens to solve arguments or to prove who is the better cat. If the challenger accepts, then the leader, deputy and medicine cat must be informed. The cats gets to choose where to have their duel. The leader, deputy or medicine cat must be present to show that the duel had taken place. Cats are expected to fight fair but dirty tactics have been used in the past. It's not uncommon for a cat to wind up dead in these duels. Warriors participate in these duels but an apprentice between the ages of ten-twelve moons or older may participate.
The Tournament One a year, the clan hosts a tournament of sorts. This is something for all cats to participate in. This gives cats a chance to sharpen and show off their skills. Challenges include, hunting, climbing, stalking, story telling, singing, and much more. The winners gets to have bragging rights and for a couple of moons be the first to choose prey from the pile. Other prizes include, pretty items like rocks, feathers, ect,

No Godmodding, Spotlighting or Powerplaying Do not try and make your character unbeatable or able to do impossible things.
Keep fur and eye colors realistic. I will allow a few rare occasion due to the fact there are mutants irl. However, I do no want rainblow colored fur or magical wings and sparkles.
No perfect characters. Give your characters, flaws, blemishes and make them occasionally mess up. Not every warrior lands every prey or blow on an opponent.
Apprentices cannot have mates until they are fully fledged warriors. However, I will allow one or two apprentice pregnancies. Most dislike this idea but, if handle correctly could make for an interesting rp. That being said, I would prefer the apprentice in question is older. Anyone younger and you would have to ask me.
No joining and never coming back. If you lose interest let me know especially if life gets in the way. Your character will either be deleted, open for claim, or just become a background character that dies later on.
Be respectful of others and keep arguments out of the thread.

Have fun and don't be afraid to be dramatic. I consider this clan to be pretty much a soap opera. So bring on the love triangles, heartbreaks, betrayals and secret affairs. However, do ask permission if you have something big in mind. I don't want to walk in on the camp burning down or being flooded.
Let's try and include everyone in the rp! Don't be afraid to make a ton of characters.
Try and be as active as possible. I understand life gets in the especially now since school is starting back up. Post when you can and let me know if you will be flaky or not.

The clan doesn't like outsiders so be mindful when you want your rogue to join or if your rogue has already joined. Some cats may be rude or still learning to trust you.
These cats live pretty dangerous lives. Accidents, murders and disappearances do happen and keeps you on your toes. Feel free to kill off some cats espcially if come up with new ones
