Beholder [ Camp ]
Watching the Circle awaken made her pelt itch with pride. It was so great to see Hoot take her duties seriously. The young female had awoken the apprentices who quickly went off to their own tasks. Beholder watched Vixen, the oldest of the apprentices, make her way over to the den. Soon it will be time to send her out of the territory. One full moon Vixen wil have to survive or she will never be a warrior. It was always worrisome sending the young cats out to fend for themselves. It weakened the Circle but it was a necessity. Every cat should be able to decide its fate, this gave them a chance to learn other ways of life.
Her ears twitched to a new sound, soft moaning coming from Storm's den. Beholder felt her fur bristle. Did that Healer always think she was alone? If the kits were coming, the first thing was to tell Beholder. Quickly, the black female slithered herself into the Healer's den and found Moose in the middle of a panic. Amber eyes glowered at Storm but there wasn't time to talk. Beholder shoved the male cat,
"Out." Her voice held no argument. Beholder placed her paws on Storm's stomach, feeling the kits. The spasms were quick now, it won't be long. She took note of the herbs Moose had given Storm, most likely on Storm's order.
"Soon but not yet. They will come once they are ready."

Storm gratefully lapped up the herbs her mate offered to her, the soothing effect took some time to set in but she knew their effect would be helpful for her. The healer managed a weak purr at her mates affection, his presence offering a comfort that she wasn’t sure she’d have managed without. Until her peace was broken by the entrance of beholder. The queen parted her lips to protest when the shecat told her mate to exit, even the healer didn’t force toms from the den if they wanted to remain. But her words were cut off by the sudden and harsh pressure of the leaders paws against her stomach. “Hey,” she cried out with a grimace. “You could do with some lessons in nestside manners, Beholder,” she grumbled weakly, ears flat with fury.

Beholder twitched her whiskers,
"I am not here to be kind." She replied dismissively. There was no reason to keep Moose inside. The tom had puffed his fur out twice his side and from his nerves, he would only be in the way. Some males can keep a level head, that one did not seem to be of any sort level today. Beholder removed her paws from the other's stomach, padding away swiftly and returning with moss soaked in water and set it down next to Storm.
"I am here to make sure you survive and these kits are strong." She commented as another surge rippled through Storm's body. It was powerful. The time was nearly here. Storm was a young female but this was her first litter. It would be scary for anyone. Beholder did not want anything to go wrong. With a nod, Beholder lowered her head to Storm,
"You will need to push. Do no worry about them. I will make sure they are safe." Her voice was a firm whisper.

thorn | outside warriors’ den | ☾ѕησσzє☽
The surrounding darkness of the warriors’ den was sliced nearly in half by a rapid partition - a paw. The tom’s dark brown eyelids opened suddenly, revealing piercing amber slits in their place. A yawn threatened to escape his throat, and though he tried his best to stifle it, his attempts were to no avail. Despite the quickness with which his eyes shut again, the quiet of the den made him reconsider his actions. Sitting up, Thorn’s eyes scanned the darkness of the den, and when he saw the lack of company that lay sleeping next to him, the tom jumped to his paws. “Ah, fox dung,” he mewled, though he tried to overlay his tone with quietness. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Vixen won’t mind, though - he peered across the den one more time to confirm what he already knew to be true; he was late to waking up, and if Beholder caught wind of it, the positive relationship he had begun to build with her would’ve come crashing down - right?
Shaking his head, Thorn stalked his way outside. He was met with a sudden ray of light, though he was able to conceal the flinch that came to his senses. Past the light, there was another cat to greet him - well, not exactly. In fact, she seemed to be unaware of his presence. Cocoa. The two weren’t close in any regard, and Thorn smirked at the prospect of the brown she-cat. He cleared his throat - the smirk now fully gone, and replaced instead with an expression of greeting and charm - and began padding closer to the molly. “Cocoa!” he called, hoping his tone wouldn’t startle her to the point of being off-putting. “How are you this morning?”

Writhing weakly as pain surged through her so fiercely she thought it might break her in half, she stilled; panting harshly, as a contraction passed allowing her a brief moment to catch her breath. Watching, hurt as her mate trudged away through the darkness out of her den. Moose was a source of kindness and comfort, Beholder was a source of blunt straight forwardness. Even if the cat beside her had more experience, she would have preferred the former any time of day. Lapping at the water offered, she was about to comment when the pain returned tenfold. Storm cried out with a blood curdling yowl, as her first kitten was delivered onto the moss between her hind legs. A tiny Tom. Panting weakly, the calico lifted her head to nuzzle at the newborn, smiling with exhausted delight.

It doesn't matter to me who is born first. It can be Wolf, Rain and Silver.
Beholder watched as the little kit slid out. Quickly she broke the sac, setting her self to lick the body and warm it up. Within a mere second, the kit let out a squeal and its eyes shut wiggled closer to Storm's body. Beholder was pleased to find that the first born was so strong. It would be good for the rest of the kits. She nudged it closer, letting it curl up against its mother and went back to Storm. There would be at least 2 more. Her paws placed, Beholder waited as the surge and Storm pushed out another little form.
"You are doing good." She urged the Healer, "One more and you can rest." The second kit was wiggling already, paws kicking and flailing. Beholder echoed her movement with the first kit, moving the dark grey kit next to the other.

The queen flopped into the nest exhausted as her second kit emerged into the world, exhausted and aching, her eyes were barely open as she nudged weakly at the two kittens nestled by her belly. “They’re perfect,” but despite her smile the shecat was fading. Exhaustion taking its toll to the point where it was lethal for the new mother. Struggling with the throes of pain, her faint purrs the only sound for now her sapped energy offered not enough to even manage a scream of pain. If this wasn’t over quickly, it wouldn’t end well for the queen. Even if the final kit was born, the prospects for the pretty shecat were looking increasingly dire. Her breaths were almost inaudible from how weak they were, the heave of her flanks the only sign life remained in the exhausted young healer.

rain | medicine den | PudgeCat 🇳ᴇcʀᴏᴅ🇦🇳cᴇʀ
Small paws filled the air as the unnamed kit made her descent into the world. A rush of cold air surrounded her momentarily, but in an instant, it was gone - replaced instead by strong licks which brought warmth and a strong sense of love. She gave a small squeak of protest at the suddenness of which the cat holding her moved her small body, but she quieted quickly the moment she was placed by a bundle of warmth. The feeling was surreal. How could one object feel so cozy?

{Ima just say Moose left since you guys are so far into the roleplay now sorry! Been doing laundry and stuff around the house, busy busy}
{Cocoa} The she-cat was barely phased at the voice reaching her ears. She knew cats would be late to waking up and it wasn't uncommon to pass pleasantries when leaving the den. She was a bit taken back when he stayed there though. She stopped her grooming to look up at him, curiosity now sparking in her eyes. "Well Good Morning, Thorn." She purred, a little bit of a smile playing at her muzzle now as she noted the tom was late to waking up again. It seems he hadn't fully adjusted to waking up early yet, she would think it would come naturally when he placed himself among the other warriors but he was the excepted she guessed. "I am doing well, freeing myself from the burden of tangled fur until I have to go hunting or something else out in the territory. How are you, Thorn? I think I heard Vixen going out to feed the elder's if your wanting to go see her." She wasn't making a passive hint he should leave, just trying to be helpful. She never had an apprentice of her own but she assumed most of the mentor's time was spent training them.

Beholder couldn't let the nerves and temper flare. Storm was fading. The exhaustion of birth was enough for any cat to weak and if things continued Storm wouldn't be able to raise her kits. Her ears flat, she did her best to help push the little kit and give Storm a much needed break. Her paws on the stomach of the queen, Beholder began to press softly down the length of the stomach and edge the last kitten out. It went successfully. The last kit slithered out, Beholder quickly attended to it and nestled it next to its siblings.
"Rest." She told her Healer, dabbing the moss to her mouth and letting the water soak through. Storm was much to weak. Even herbs would not do much. The queen needed to sleep. Beholder wrapped herself around Storm, gently licking the fur in calm and even strokes.
"You did it." The leader murmured, "May the Stars bless you and your kits."

Kale I am extremely offended to only now be finding out you have a puppy. I demand all the pictures this instant or our friendship is over XD
The shecat slumped into the nest as at last her pains subsided, but the exhaustion lingered in her bones. Her dappled ears barely twitching at the sounds of her newborns squeaking beside her, the lithe shecat curled into a ball around the trio but otherwise barely moved. Every inch of her energy drained, given half the chance Storm would have slept for the rest of eternity, only to wake up still feeling especially exhausted. Barely acknowledging the kindness of her leader, a rareity from the stonehearted Beholder, Storm merely let out a grateful purr. Somewhat delirious and likely not entirely aware that the cat's affection came from anyone but her mate. For now her eyes remained shut, and it wasn't long before sleep had taken its hold on her form. Though it might well have been more accurately described as unconsciousness. Eventually the slender shecat roused, still barely awake but her gaze fixed itself on the trio of kittens. The awareness of how close Beholder was to her sunk in, and the young shecat flinched away with embarrassment. Nestling the kits closer to her, nervous to have the older shecat in such close proximity. The young queen stumbled quietly over her words before saying, "Thanks for your help."

Wren with Saber [ PudgeCat ]
Wren narrowed her eyes at the tom, watching as he shifted away with dejected expression. She felt a small pang of regret. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, attempting to rein in her temper. It almost never did her any good. Saber didn't deserve her fiery attitude, maybe later in the day but not this early in the morning and especially over something that she knew he couldn't control.
She blinked open her eyes as he went on to speak in a calming voice. She didn't appreciate the fact of being coddled but she figured that Saber was tiptoeing if Wren's temper flared again. Wren focused her fur to lie flat while she shifted in her nest, tucking her paws back under her body. "I like mice," she meowed after a pause.
Wren pushed herself to her paws. Since she was awake, she might as well get up and out of then den. "Fish is alright," she meowed, wrinkling her nose. It wasn't her favorite type of prey to eat. It felt too oily on her tongue. The cream feline bend forward, stretching out her paws as she arched her back. It felt good to ease out the stiff muscles she got from sleeping and how her back crackled gently.
Wren could agree with Saber. Hunting was one of her favorite responsibilities. It was relaxing to be out of camp and by yourself as you only had one focus. Hunt.

Beholder [ Camp / Storm ]
After some time of watching over Storm, the female had fallen into a very deep slumber to recover from the trauma her body had endured. Beholder waited quietly, watching the kits and Storm to make sure nothing went wrong while Storm slept. There was some shifting as Storm had finally woken up from her sleep, awkwardness in her voice as she thanked Beholder. It was understandable. Many mothers wanted to handle kitting with those that are trusted and close. Storm was the Healer but they did not have a close relationship. Beholder nodded, standing with a shake of her fur.
"You will move to the Nursery with the kits. There is no need for them to be in here. I will take over your duties while you mothering." Beholder stepped around Storm, glancing once more down at the little bundles. Soon they will have to do the ceremony of mentors for them. Once Storm gives them names of course.
"I will find Moose, he will want to see his new children."
Saber [ Camp / Wren ]
He watched as she settled down, agreeing to his change of topic. Food was the best diversion to things. If any cat would agree it would be that we all needed to eat! Wren stretched, her small body was able to moved freely inside the den. Saber twitched his whiskers, sitting up but he was larger and broader than the other cats that he couldn't sit up fully. Mice were good, small but plump and they eased the pangs of hunger like snacks. Saber didn't mind the earthy taste of them but fish was where his heart and stomach was.
Saber half crawled himself out of the den, finally being able to stretch to his full size and gave a long hard shake of his thick fur. If Wren wanted a mouse, they would get a mouse. He glanced back at her,
"I'm sure Hoot and Beholder won't mind if we head out without asking. We are warriors after all." Saber puffed out his chest, "We serve the Circle."

The healer let out a weak sigh, as much had been expected by the pretty young shecat but that didn't mean she wasn't annoyed by it. Being dethroned from their position wasn't something most cats would have taken lightly, but that was an argument for another day. For now she was too weak to conjure a proper arguement in turn, and the sweet scent of the kittens beside her made the idea of leaving them even for a heartbeat a painful one. She snuggled them closer to her flank with a quiet sigh, dragging her grey gaze from them and fixing it on the beholder for a heartbeat, appearing to contemplate offering firm protest but deciding against it at the last heartbeat. She didn't want the first thing her children witnessed in this new world to be an arguement. She would leave it. "Thanks," this time the word was a more convincing one then it had been before. The relationship between the Beholder and the Healer couldn't be described as a close one, but the young mother's tone was genuine.[/sub

Hustler is the mentor to Smoke. Sun is the mentor to Kale. Thorn is the mentor to Vixen. Moose is the mentor to Dawn. Shine is the mentor to Nettle. Rabbit is the mentor to Stag. Saber is the mentor to Rain. Wren is the mentor to Wolf. Cedar is the mentor to Silver.
How does this sound for mentors? XD All of the warriors except Hoot and Storm have apprentices.
