Honeypaw swam towards the center shoreline, gasping for breath. She felt the stings from the bees, and the water hadn't done much help to her. As she heard some cat call her name, she jerked up, thinking that it was Fawnstar, frantically, jumping in the water again. Stupid me. Now I'm underwater again... it was just Beepaw. Honeypaw resurfaced again, paddling towards the banks of the river, trying not to get carried away. "Bee! Beep-paw!" Honeypaw dug her claws into the sand, and pulled herself up, shaking the water from her fur. "That was a terrible idea. The worst. Not even a drop of honey... and Fawnstar's gonna kill us now."

Battle; yeah. )
Pounce loved the sun. It was bright and it was warm. Monsters were the prime place to collect sun. Their hard coats seemed to absorb every drop of warmth. Tough the darker ones were a bit too hot, so he always went with the lighter ones. The red ones seemed to be the best, even if he stood out. The perks of living near a twoleg area was there was plenty of time to relax. Twolegs were so clumsy and mousebrain. Pounce could find food anywhere. Well, not anywhere anywhere, but most places. For some reason, the twolegs seems to bring blankets and food to eat outside. You would think with a den right over there, they would eat in there. Mousebrains, he silently thought. He cracked one golden eye open to look at the surrounding area. He had picked a large, red monster to sleep on today. This twolegs always seemed to set the monster to rest near the forest, so it was perfect for a quick escape. He rolled to face the rest of the monsters.
Beepaw blinked as her friend jumped into the water. What in the name of SilverClan is she doing? Beepaw though, cocking her head. She slowly made her way towards her friend once Honeypaw seemed to gather her senses. The light breeze was suddenly making the she-cat shiver as the excitement wore off. "Y-yeah, s-she issssn't gonna be too happy." She said, too cold to muster up a proper reply. She longed to be back in the apprentices' den rather than out in the cold. The nest that she had made would not bring too much warmth. She sat down, letting the little sun streaming through the branches warm her pelt.

"Wonder what she'd do to you..." Probably drown you... I don't know. Honeypaw's fur puffed out, and went under a tree. "Maybe we should just live as rogues from now on. I honestly don't know how we can live like this all the time." Just a thought. Not reality. She looked towards the direction of the main camp, sighing. (Action time! > ) As Night stepped across the stepping stone of the river, she saw two, pretty young she-cat shivering. Ha. Easy prey. He hid under some ferns, listening to their conversation. "Well, if you want to live the life of a rogue, you could join me," he said, smiling, while also showing his teeth. Once again, Honeypaw screamed, and then slapped her tail over her mouth. Whups. "Are you-are you..." She was lost for words, immediately wishing that Fawnstar was with them.

(Yus. ) Beepaw laughed at Honeypaw's suggestion. They would suck as rouges. They were soaking wet and it was barely sunhigh. They would be a mess in just a few days. then again, Fawnstar might be a more fearsome enemy than the wild. "I wished, but-" She stopped when the rogue padded out of the bushes. Foxdrug! She though, not recognizing nor feeling great about this tom. She mustered up her courage before stepping forward. "Umm, actually we are just fine. You can go now." She said, a little upset that a hint of weakness entered her voice.

Stormie himself had climbed to the top of the tree, the roaming cat searching for the prime place to catch his breakfast. The forest could have some nice woodland prey, but it wasn't what he was feeling. Besides, if he were to be caught clumsily trying to learn how to hunt the forest prey, he would surely be embarrassed. He knew how to hunt in a twoleg nest, but not in the forest. However, the lake was completely different. The days he had spent as a ship's cat had taught him a thing or two about water, and how to catch fish. They were little, but he didn't expect to catch anything he couldn't handle.
He hopped his way down the branches, heading in the direction of the lake. When he arrived, he shook himself, and hopped into the water. He surfaced, shivering, but his thick fur helped warm him. He took a big breath, and sank under the water again, opening his eyes under water, clawing at the lilypads that reached to ensare him. As he paddled to the bottom, he saw thick dents in the sandy leftovers at the bottom. It must be a fin of a trout that had rested recently on the bottom. Swimming for a patch of reeds, he flushed out a large rainbow bass, much bigger than he suspected.
Leaping, or paddling rather, at the chance, he surged forward, spearing the fish in his long claws, and hooking his rows of teeth and long fangs into the fishy flesh, and began to surface. Pushing off the bottom, he surged upwards. As his head broke the surface, he didn't let go of the flailing fish with his jaws, instead treading with his back feet, and gasping through clogged nostrils. And flinging himself onto the beach, wrestling the fish, releasing and then lightning fast, he sunk his teeth into the flesh again. The wound that would really kill the fish would be the moment his claws snagged and ripped through the throat of the fish.
Taking his prize, he went to find a monster to sun himself on top of and eat some of his prey.

Night laughed. "I won't leave. Maybe you could instead. You're just kits."
Honeypaw snarled when he said that they were kits. "We're not kits! We're apprentices!" She wanted to attack this tom so much but she probably couldn't go on without getting seriously injured or possibly killed. Was every rogue like this?

Pounce watched the twolegs milling about and the monsters sleeping until a rather large, dark...something caught his eye. By the size, it could be a dog or cat. Most other animals wouldn't dare wander the twoleg area. It had something in its jaws too. Pounce sat up, scanning the area for the shade. His eyes gleamed when he saw the cat's prize. It was a large fish, and fresh by the looks of it. The prey with still wet. There was nothing he could do, of course. Other cats aren't fond of sharing and he wouldn't lower himself to begging. Though this new cat was...well, new. At least Pounce had never seen him before. He hadn't seen many cats before. Maybe it was because he was lonely, but the tom felt himself drawn to the newcomer. Slowly, he got to his paws and leaped down. It took a second for him to locate the large cat. As he got closer, he started to notice the cat looked a lot more intimidating. Okay, this cat could be a dog. Just look at his teeth and paws. He is just so...large. He paused to watch the other cat. He had never seen a cat so interesting. He slowly sunk down to sit down. he was a couple foxlengths away now, with just a tire between them. His black pelt blended well with the tire and its shadow. He peered around the tire with wide, golden eyes.
Beepaw didn't have as much sense as Honeypaw. She took a step forward with unsheathed claws. Her tail was straight up in the air. She couldn't believe this rouge had the nerve to act like they were below him. He was just a rogue, some uncivilized cat with no rules. "We are LichenClan apprentices, not some kits." She hissed. If she wasn't soaked, her fur would be fluffed up, but instead she bared her teeth.

Night just sneered. "It's all the same. Stupid kits and apprentices." He unsheathed his claws when he noticed that both apprentice's had done so too. "I'm pretty sure you could tail me down anyways," he said sarcastically. "Like any cat from this clan could anyways." Night flicked his tail, and stepping towards both of them. "Go and try."
Honeypaw didn't make any sound as he stepped towards both of them, except maybe a small whimper. He certainly wasn't big in size, but he looked just as scary as any bigger tom, probably even scarier. I wish I could read his mind and know what he would do. But I'm not even a warrior yet, and I'm pretty sure I'll get a different power anyways.

Fawnstar padded towards Bumblepaw as he saw him. "Why'd you leave anyways? You know you have to be treated," her voice was laced in annoyance. "Now, just wait for Heatherwhisker right here. I'll go find those two apprentice's. Just tell her that I'll be near the monster area if she needs me."

Beepaw felt her legs weaken as the tom stepped towards them. She glanced down at his claws before focusing on his face. She sneered. "Any warrior could defeat you." She said, which was true. She knew she had no chance against the tom though. He maybe an uncivilized rogue, but they were a tougher breed of cat. She knew they didn't have anything resembling a warrior code. She made sure to block the way to Honeypaw. After hearing her friend whimper, she guessed Honeypaw wasn't exactly up for fighting. She could fight or distract, hopefully distract, the tom for long enough for Honeypaw to run.

Heatherwhisker squeezed through the roots of the Healers den, she looked down at her small pile of herbs, that were soon to be filling the healers den. "Aha!" She squeaked and put her paw into one of the crevices of the tree and pulled out a small amount of inner bark from a sitka spruce tree.

He didn't wait for a response, and then lunged towards Honeypaw first. Obviously the weaker of the two. He sank his claws into her belly fur, as she screamed. Honeypaw took a deep breath, trying to remember what Rowanstripe had taught her. She tried to push up, but the tom just pushed harder onto her. "You cats are pathetic," he growled. "Not even one of your warriors could kill me."

Beepaw's eyes widened in horror. He was quick. He was quicker than the two of them combined. The initial shock wore off quickly. She lunged at the tom's back, hoping to latch on.

Night shook Beepaw off, and released Honeypaw. "You cats can't defeat me," he spat. "You're a kit, no matter what anyone else calls you." He didn't bother to clean his claws or sheathe them. Honeypaw scrambled to her paws, glaring at Night, not caring whether he'd attack again. "You can't go on and attack any cat you'd like! That's just mean!" "Who said I couldn't? Only you did, didn't you?" Night snarled, baring his teeth. "Because I don't care who I hurt!" You cat's are obviously too soft to live the life of a rogue.

He scented another cat around him, and decided to humor himself, and act as if he didn't see the cat. It was more fun that way, and it would help him figure out if the cat was hostile. If the cat attacked, he would have lost the element of surprise.
Seeing that the twoleg car had been abandoned, he hoped clumsily up, hindered by the huge fish. He dropped it on top of the car, and it left a slimy trail as it skidded across the top. It was warm, and in direct sunlight too. Stormie wouldn't mind sharing with the cat, as soon as he got him all figured out. He couldn't determine quite where he was, but he knew he was upwind, or else he wouldn't have scented him.
Tearing into the fish ravenously, he ate for the first time in days.

Fawnstar padded around the monster area, not scenting Honeypaw or Beepaw at all, except the faint scent from the morning, now mixed in with the stinking scent of the monsters. Where are they? If only I could know where every cat was... She padded towards the spruce path, wondering if they had a kind of interest with twolegs, but couldn't find the smell of either of them. Looks like I'll have to start from camp.

Beepaw scrambled to her paws. If this was not a life and death situation, she would have rolled her eyes at Honeypaw's comment. Really, rogues could hurt anyone they wanted. That is what they did. They were like mountain cats, ready to bite when you turn your back. This one was more of a badger. He didn't seem very clever or sneaky. Beepaw stepped forward, hoping to draw his attention towards her. Without thinking, she looked towards Honeypaw, hoping she was get the silent message to just run. They needed help and, with Honeypaw injured, she wouldn't last long fending the rogue off.
Pounce blinked as he watched the cat leap up on the monster. At least the bear-cat didn't see him. He had remained upwind, so he must have not scented him too. Pounce felt upset at the thought. It was pretty lonely living alone and he had become bored just laying on the monster tops. If he stayed a car away, he could run away in enough time.
Now, with a plan, he grinned. This might turn out good. He snuck to the front of the next monster. He jumped up on its nose then on its top. Sure enough, on the next monster over, was the loner. He felt suddenly awkward, not sure what to do with himself. He didn't have much experience with these things. He settled, golden eyes locked on the other tom. "Hello." He said, feeling like he should introduce himself.

Ah, the cat made their move. Turning slowly, as if to add dramatic effect, he grinned a toothy smile. "Well hello there, Tom," Tom was his name for any male cat he didn't know, and Doll or Molly for a female cat. "Who might you be?" His voice was low, husky, like the tone of a lion's roar. "Oh, how rude of me. I'm Stormie." There was that part of Stormie that attempted to charm those that he met. However, those who took a second look would find the distant look in his eyes, the only indication of his survival strategy.
"Is there anything I can help you with today?"

Pounce stared at the other tom for a second. He simply blinked. This was some niceties he did not expect. He wasn't really sure how to react. This cat seemed genuine, but he might be mocking Pounce. There was no solid evidence, so he held himself back from snapping. Talk! He commanded himself when he realized he had been staring. "Right. I just-" He stopped himself. I just wanted to talk to someone sounded so...weak and werid. This cat was going to think he was some twoleg cat with half a brain. Well, there was really no other reason and he really didn't want to lie. "wanted to see you." That sounded worse. He groaned. "To talk." He finished lamely. Well, you messed this one up. He thought to himself.

Stormie raised an eyebrow at the cat. In a flash, he had leapt down the monster, and stood towering over Pounce. "Alright. What's the big idea?" He growled, his eyes shifting. "What do you want to talk about." He grunted at him, his eyes wary but determined. "I've got my eye on you. Any wrong moves, and you'll have to rows of teeth in your neck." He bared his teeth to emphasize this. "What are you planning? Trying to get my fish eh? Well, let me tell you, a cat that hasn't eaten in days is going to fight much harder for prey than a cat that has daily meals." He hissed into his ear.

That seemed to start the cat off. This Stormie seemed to turn into the angry bear-cat he expected him to be. Pounce took a couple steps back. He sighed. This was his biggest screw up yet. Just seem shifty in front of the large, strong tom. That will work. Good job Pounce. He sighed. This was all his fault. He felt a bit insulted, but he knew he had no right. Not this time. "I'm sorry. I haven't spoken with another cat for a moon, maybe two now. This sounds mousebrain, but yeah, I wanted to just be by another cat. Which sounds weird yes, but that is-I'm rambling." The young tom started to panic. Doubt started to crawl in his mind. Your pushing them away, something whispered. He flicked his ears back, "I'm Pounce."
