Tamani looked a little worried that her ki wave hadn't done much damage to him. Is he stronger than I thought? Could he just be fooling around with me because he wants some type of revenge? She thought to herself. She knew that the Arlians had never actually forgiven the Saiyans for the destruction of their original home world but for the grudge to be held onto for this long seemed a little ridiculous to her. After all, the Saiyans didn't hold a grudge against the Arcosians for this long. The worry that Tamani was feeling quickly turned to anger at Matilla's taunt and she started powering up her ki into her palms. Purple orbs started to form in them before they split up into five smaller beams that moved to her fingertips

(im just going with that name since it makes it easier than saying Frieza race everytime)

Tamani's eyes widened at his last remark as they changed from being their normal onyx black color to a bright yellow color. Her ki skyrocketed as his anger overtook her and a purple aura surrounded her. She flung 9 of the small spheres which were fairly slow moving and easily dodgeable but they packed quite the punch if they hit. Tamani got ready to throw the final orb towards one of the closest to set off a chain reaction of explosions all around the ring

(so how much stronger should she be like that? Don't want to make her to powerful also it's only going to happen for a short amount of time and then she will pass out if thats okay gonna have to really limit her right now)

whats funny is thats how strong i was planning on making her lol and yeah i figured she would. Tamani isn't the type that likes to kill obviously but the rest sounds good to me)

Tamani had a look of maniacal glee on her face as she finally threw the final orb. One of the fighters got knocked into one of the orbs closest to Matilla and it exploded sending multiple enemies out of the ring and severely injuring them so much that all they could do was lie on the ground and groan in pain. Many of the other contestants saw this and tried to go after Tamani but by that point it was too late as the two orbs clashed and explosions rang out all across the ring knocking out fighters left and right from the ring. There was only one area left left fairly untouched due to the closest orb being separately blown up. Tamani never stopped looking at Matilla and looked disappointed that he was still standing at that point before that same maniacal glee came over her face and she rushed towards him

Before the gong had rung, Tamani had gotten mere feet away from him and had already knocked two of the final remaining fighters out of the ring while charging towards Matilla. She readied a punch at Matilla's face and then the gong sounded causing her to snap back to her senses. She panickly looked around and noticed all of the injured beings on the outside of the ring already being taken away by medical staff. There was a look of fear worry and shock on her face as she realized what happened "No one is dead, right? Of course no one is otherwise, I'd have tons of officers surrounding me" she said to herself aloud. She kept rambling on to herself as she crouched to the ground and tried to console herself

Tarro was relieved when Mayz managed to get the large guy off of them, "I'd be delighted to help" they smirked
Taking a step back they began to release a series of punches on the guys chest before hitting it with a side kick, making the guy practically knocked out

"Thanks for saving my tail by the way, I didn't see him coming"

Tamani looked over at Matilla and was slightly surprised to still see him in the ring. Usually whenever something like that happened, no one was able to get out of it unscathed but here was Matilla with only little scuff marks dealt from before she went all apeshit crazy. Her opinion of the bugman improved even if she did hate him for egging her on into that state. "So, uh... Looks like we are both going to the tournament. Congratulations" she said

Tamani briefly wanted to chuck a ki blast at Matilla as he left but she didn't want to lose control again. Especially in such a short amount of time. If she had stayed in that form any longer she would have fainted and lost the match. Tamani could feel that her stamina was almost gone. She didn't even know if she would be able to fly at this point. But regardless Tamani was glad that she won because now she could tell her father and brag about it to Mayz whenever she saw him next. She did hope that he was doing okay and decided to go and check up on him. She turned to the monk still standing there "When and where is the dinner taking place?" She asked so she knew if she had enough time to go to the arena Mayz was at

Tamani bowed to the monk "I will be there then" she said as he started to head towards the arena block Mayz was competing hoping that she was able to catch some of his match though she doubted it seeing as they most likely started at the right time. She could feel strong power levels all around her coming from each of the arenas but she honed in on the one Mayz was fighting in and kept walking. When she got to the arena she went into the stands and found an empty seat before sitting down

"This shouldn't take long at all." Mayz smirked as he watched Tarro take out a small group of enemies. Not wanting to let himself get shown up by them Mayz charged into the fray. He simply grabbed people and threw them out while sometimes using the sturdier ones as a bit of a weapon by smashing them into other fighters. With him going all out it became much easier to overpower his opponents.

Before long there were only a few fighters left. "Well I think its time to end this." Mayz said aloud while charging up a large ball of Ki. Looking back to Tarro he said "I think you might want to come a little closer." After warning them the ball of Ki suddenly exploded releasing hundreds of much smaller Ki blasts that saturated the stage with explosions. After the attack had finished Mayz was dangerously short on Ki.

Powering down Mayz gasped "Yeah, I'm beat." He then heard the sound of a gong and turned to see a monk walking towards them.

The monk spoke excitedly "Congratulations! You two have earned the right to participate in the main tournament! We would like you to return to the temple for a congratulatory dinner. Afterwards we plan on hosting a press conference announcing the fighters to participate in the main tournament. We plan on having each participant to be there. Before then you can come to the hospital in the temple to have your wounds treated. We will have medical staff waiting for your arrival." (Hope you don't mind the copy paste lol)

Having been able to watch the end Tamani let out a joyous cheer when the gong sounded. She knew that there was a chance that her and Mayz would end up fighting each other but she was happy that her best friend was moving along with her. She stayed in the stands for now though since she could see that he was talking to another Saiyan at that point and didn't want to intrude

Tamani heard Mayz call for her and she got up. She definitely looked slightly uncomfortable though that was mostly because she was meeting someone new and a Saiyan at that. The last few Saiyans she had met tried to gang up on her though they were too weak to do anything to her luckily. This Saiyan was a different story seeing as they were on the same level as her and Mayz. Tamani walked up to them and looked up at Mayz with a smile on her face "Congrats on making it through. Though it looks like you needed help with that" she said in a teasing manner

"Well, teaming up made things go by just a bit quicker." Mayz replied to her. Getting a better look at her he could tell she was weaker than normal. With a look of interest he asked "Did you find someone strong?" The prospect of there being a fighter who could push Tamani made him very curious.
