TorrentClan's peace has been fought for with fangs, and claws, and bloodshed.
Many fell for the tranquility our clan has lived in for the past generation, and for the longest time it seemed impossible. But what was once a figment of our imagination, and optimists dreams, is the reality we live in today.
So much so the memories of the battlefield have faded from the memories of many, and the peace we know now has been taken for granted.
Those still around to remember try to instill old memories, but even those willing to listen are too willing to believe our peace will be permanent.
And there are those who pine for the chaos once more, the glory of battle something to wish for, not hide from.
But no matter how hard you fight, you will not always be free of the shadows of the past.
In fact, they might just be waiting for the opportunity to haunt you once more.
And imminent revelations, will divide the clan and from those ruins, the darkness threatens to be reborn. Basics. The most basic rule that applies everywhere, please follow every rule enforced on the forums. If ever uncertain, remember to peruse this link or ask questions! Plagiarism. I reserve the write to hunt you down report you should I learn you have taken anything from this page without the explicit permission of the owner. All the coding seen here is my own, as is the writing save for the characters of others. But none of it is for the taking unless you're told otherwise, so please don't.
Activity. Please maintain a reasonable degree of activity, every hour of every day isn't expected. But for those intending to take roles key to this thread, i.e. the medicine cat, or to our plot, please aim to be active at least four days a week. There is no minimum for others, but after two weeks of inactivity you will be deleted. If you need to be absent, let me know; I'll understand.Literacy. This thread is to be a literate Clan, thus the minimum requirement I ask of joiners is that they please be capable of writing a minimum of one paragraph averaging around 6 lines per character. I understand if s occasionally lower than this, but kindly bare in mind this is the general minimum.Joining. If after all that you'd still like to join, I really appreciate it! I do however, have a couple of requests. Namely that on initial joining you do so with a minimum of two characters, one of each gender. Furthermore, to join as an apprentice I ask that you please have a minimum of two cats of other ranks beforehand.Realism. I don't insist on perfection in terms of genetics namely because I wouldn't be able to join my own clans if I did. Thus, you are allowed artistic license to a reasonable degree with your cats, however, don't go overboard into the realm of the impossible, i.e. pink fur, dragon wings, etc. A similar rule goes in terms of naming. Bloodlines. Not mandatory, but often rather good fun. I ask that where cats of yours share traits with a cat of another member, you see if they might be related to some extent. Not something I will enforce, however, do not join as members of your own family unless in the context of a parent/kit occasionally.Drama. Frankly something I'm kind of known for by now, and for fair reasons. I LOVE IT. Make it, join in on it, if you have ideas for side plots or additions to the main plot let me know! As long as it doesn't conflict with our main plot, I will more likely than not say yes! Darkpetal
Darkpetal is a large, lean tom with black-based fur that is covered in gray and silver tabby markings. He has broad shoulders and large paws. His eyes are a bright, gleaming golden amber color. His shoulders and flanks are littered with small scars that he gained as he grew older. Darkpetal is a slightly grouchy tom, but he's a total teddy bear when you catch him in the right mood. He can be quite intimidating when he's not in a good mood, but he has a huge soft spot for kits and they're the easiest way to get him to calm down. He secretly hopes to be leader some day, but doesn't think that he could because he's so moody and impulsive.

Mintgaze
Mintgaze is a pretty she-cat, with long fur and a sleek, gray tabby pelt. However, she is aptly named for the most prominent feature on her body; Her light green eyes. Her tabby stripes accent her body in a way that makes her appear more sleek and graceful than she may actually be. Long fur covers her whole body, but tufts of hair stick out by her ears, her paws, and her belly. Hints of sandy brown lie in her face, but are rarely seen anywhere else on her pelt. Her chin and mouth are splashed with white. With light eyes and a light pelt, there isn't much contrast to her except for her orange-pink nose. She is a fairly muscular she-cat, though definitely not the strongest in the clan. Mintgaze is a very strong willed she-cat, not afraid to do whats right even if it's the harder choice. She would do anything to protect her values, or the cats she cares about. She is extremely independent and can sometimes be seen as someone who only looks out for themselves, even though most of the time that is the exact opposite of her intentions. She is guilty of holding grudges and being very unforgiving, except for those few closest to her. Otherwise, she is generally pretty friendly and outgoing.

Junipershade
Junipershade has a pretty basic, boring pelt, with very little contrast or color variation. He is a pure black tom with just a hint of white on his chest. The only real splash of color on him are his extremely pale yellow eyes. He's rather disadvantaged in his territory, as he is more of a sleek, thin cat rather than a muscular, burly cat. He's found his own ways to take advantage of his physique, but there are somethings that would just be easier if he had more muscle on him. Junipershade is a shyer cat, and not the most friendly either. He can get defensive pretty easily, which only shows others just how insecure about himself he is. And although he's not the biggest cat in his clan, he can be quite scary when he's angry or defending his borders. He has a tough, hard exterior, but once you get to know him, he's actually quite a caring, gentle tom. It may take some effort and persistence, but breaking through his outer shell is definitely worth it in the long run. He is extremely loyal and would do anything for those he cares about. It may seem like he's indifferent to his clan mates, but in reality he would do anything to defend any of them, even those he feels have been mean to him in the past.

Houndpaw
Houndpaw has a name that fits him right to the T. He is a large cat for his age, and only continues to grow as he gets older. His pelt is pure gray, except for his tail where there are darker gray rings circling all the way down to the dark tip of his tail. His eyes are a dark yellow, that stand out greatly against is gray fur. He's a muscular cat, which is something he takes great pride in. Houndpaw is a bubbly tom, one with lots of spirit and energy. It almost seems like his energy from when he was just a kit has carried over into his apprenticeship, and shows no signs of fading. He has an easy time making friends with others, but not only because of his positive energy. He can be very manipulative when he wants to be, and uses it to his advantage when he pleases, to the point where some may even call him a compulsive liar. He's an intelligent cat for his age, and is extremely determined in everything he does, which is probably why he isn't afraid to rely on deceiving others for his own personal gain. And while he sound like a mean spirited cat, he has good intentions and is loyal to his clan. He's a hard working apprentice and will be just as hard working as a warrior, and will always want whats best for his clan.

finished! Snakeflower.
A sleek, long-bodied molly with a dilute calico pelt. She has soft, pale green eyes. At first her name can come off as a bit confusing as most would see a snake as something to be scared of, something to run away from. Then there is her suffix of flower, a gentle sounding name with a comforting meaning behind it. She was given the name of snake due to her long and slender body, yet her suffix was given to her because of her friendly, motherly nature. She is naturally nurturing, a caring cat that puts others first. This, however, doesn't make her a push over. She can also be stubborn, and she isn't one to let others walk all over her. She stands her ground when the time comes. She can also be rather blunt with her words. She doesn't beat around the bush and speaks her mind no matter what.

A thin-furred and incredibly sleek silver-white tomcat with a slightly darker mask around his face and a darker silver tail. He has angular crystal blue eyes. He is soft spoken and considered shy, a cat that doesn't quite talk a whole lot and not often found socializing with others. He's timid at best, asocial at worst. He does his best to keep up with his Clanmates and to pull his weight, though. Despite his flaws he's a loyal warrior that does what he can. His overall gentle nature does make him a good friend to have around once his otherwise nervous and flighty nature can be looked away from.

He's a relatively young warrior, named within the last moon 
A silky, long furred silver tomcat with copper eyes and an incredibly thick, plumy tail. This tomcat takes the term "carefree" and amplifies it. He doesn't seem to have a single care in the world, nothing seeming to really faze him. Nothing seems to really get him to grow worried or angry or anything like that, he's just a constantly calm and collected cat. He's also distant, though. He doesn't seem to always be there, like he's lost in some sort of thought a lot instead of staying grounded in reality. Truth of the matter, though, is that he doesn't exactly want to be a Clan cat. He feels constricted by the borders and the rules and the monotony of day to day life. He wants to get out and explore, wants to roam the world and see what life has to offer beyond the territory he's grown up in. He wants to live a life of freedom, not a life of feeling constricted within a Clan. Who knows, maybe one day he'll actually get up and leave the Clan, never to return, but for now he's stuck, and for now he stays.

StagwatcherTall and particularly handsome, this medium athletic build tom is sure to catch a few she-cats’ eyes. His fur is short yet silky mostly comprised of a warm brown color that sports black-brown broken stripes. His front two paws have white at the tips of his toes. His mouth also has a hint of white around it as well. Large yet almond shaped, his eyes are a vibrant light green that seemingly match the leaves of New-Leaf. He has triangular ears with a soft angled face and long whiskers. Stagwatcher is a rather approachable tom that knows how to assert himself in any situation. He is a wise yet humble tom who enjoys the occasional company of the clan. When other clanmates seek his advice, he is brutally honest and doesn’t beat around the bush. Stagwatcher has exceptional sight and hearing, which helps him hunt more efficiently. He loves kits and often spends time with the little ones, telling them wild stories that are mostly big tales with small remnants of truth. calliope Deputy (if possible  ) Relationships: OPEN
MorningsunAt first glance, this petite ginger she-cat could easily be mistaken for an apprentice. Her eyes are a marblesque green with hints of gold and white toe tips. Sly, quick, and skilled, this warrior is someone to be cautious of if the battle is ever on the stealth side of things. What she lacks in strength, she makes up for in agility and quick-thinking. This beautiful short-furred mackerel ticked tabby is exactly what her namesake states: bright and optimistic. She enjoys the small things within the clan: the sense of family, kits, and the beautiful place she calls home. This pretty she-cat enjoys water and can often be found near some type of water, bathing or just enjoying a quick dip. She tends to prefer fish over anything else. OrchidbloomOrchidbloom is a very pretty dark gray she-cat with some Somalian cat ancestry. The dark gray on her body fades into a silvery-white on her face, neck, chest, and belly. She is covered in black bengal spots all over her body. Her tail has bigger black spots and ends in silvery-white found. On her pelt, she has a few white spots scattered. Orchidbloom’s nose is black with a few pink splotches on it. Her paw prints are solid black. She has amber eyes with specks of gold if you see them in the right light. She has a slender muzzle with exotic looking eyes that are darkly lined, making them appear brighter. Orchidbloom is a hard worker who is willing to do anything for her clan and family. She is loyal to a fault. She is very good at finding things that are normally hard to find. She has an excellent memory and enjoys the sunshine. She likes the sound of the river and normally goes there if she is having a bad day or needs a bit of de-stressing.
