thought i'd make it clear that im making coveclan's orginal leader/founder that killer the leader of Palmclan was a male warrior/deputy named CavernEcho.
HOWEVER, CavernEcho was just his name after he became deputy of Cypress.
Cavern was his name when the clans were first brought together.
CavernEcho is a dark gray and white tabby with dark blue eyes and black tipped ears, tail tips. His paws are white, and his muzzle, chest and belly are all white too. |

so here’s another idea to add on to history/a potential future plot point that spark and i discussed:
pre-established historical points that are really important to this:
- coveclan was created when the cypressclan deputy was exhiled for killing a palmclan cat
alright sooo what if said cypressclan deputy and “cypressstar” had a romance (along with kits). when the deputy got exhiled, cypressstar spiraled (somewhat like bluestar during the whole tigerstar situation). they gave the kits up to palmclan as somewhat of a trade - take the kits, and the deputy stays. they take the kits and don’t keep up their end - the deputy is exhiled, and they go to create coveclan.
so now we have cats in palmclan who think very highly of themselves and despise coveclan and cypressclan because they don’t “worship starclan the same way” and because of the history that they learned growing up (that it was a cypressclan cat killing a palmclan one . i’d imagine they’re around the grandparent generation now, and if they somehow eventually learn about their heritage it would change their perception of everything. since i’m making a palmclan queen, maybe her and her kits could be descendents? it would be a huge slap in the face to all of them i’d imagine
cypress spiraling also wouldn't make as much sense if they were just some "random" kits. sure, there would be the grief of thinking that he gave up someone else's kits for no reason at all, but for what actually happened to make sense, i'd imagine they'd almost have to be his own. just my opinion, though |

maybe cypress and cavern could have been brothers, and it was the brother’s kits they gave up? that way it was still family matters, but ross can keep the original leader she had planned. especially since she wasn’t able to be online when the history was discussed and i just think it’d be a little unfair to ask her to change it now ^.^’
plus the brothers would have grown up together and likely could have been very close, so it’s more of a betrayal bc it’s someone they know from atom

and cypress’ siblings would have been shell and palm, so i don’t know how the two could have been brothers, unless cavern was also apart of the cats who originally founded the clans. it could work if the two were so close to the point where cavern said that he didn’t want his own clan and that he’d rather help cypress with his, though. |

another way to solve it is changing cypress to a molly as well lol.
But no. I'd like to keep Cavern a tom because I feel like a lot of you have already decided stuff for my clan.
Cypress and Cavern couldve either been really close, and almost like brothers to the point where cavern helped cypress raise his kits, or they did have a surrogate. Having a surrogate wont change the history you all had decided.
I would just like to keep the original leader of my clan as I wanted, considering i didnt really have a say in much other things.
I'd also like to point out I wasnt even on when you decided that. Granted penguin did tell me after but I didnt ever agree to it either. |

personally, i think a surrogate would work best. nothing changes plot-wise and we're all (hopefully) happy

Im okay with Cinder still being the healer apprentice. But for the plot, would you be okay with her starting as a warrior apprentice, and then Breezestar elects her to be the next healer?
PS. coveclan has no prophets, as the leader before breezestar, or breezestar himself saw that the role was useless since healers and leaders could also talk to starclan and got rid of the role for their own clan. c:

of course i'm fine with that! would breezestar/the rest of coveclan be chill with her trying to get help from the other clans? or would they be more against her doing that/want her to figure things out on her own?
i mean, if you wanted to go with the option of it started pre-healer's death, you could always rp them, nea (or someone else). that option might be a little easier to keep track of as opposed to multiple people rping the healer at separate times, but i'm unsure |

-cove and cypress are like besties
-shell is just about neutral with everyone (but they're constantly switching sides so they're not that trustworthy)
-palm despises doesn't really like cove and cypress
i'm pretty sure we were planning an eventual battle once the landbridge becomes uncrossable where it's two C's (cove and cypress) versus the two seas (palm and shell), but I could be 100% wrong on all of this haha |

i think that’s all correct rose, though palm tolerates cove a little more than cypress, since cypress is the origin of the killing that happened xD also ross and i decided that palm would share part of their forest with cove in exchange for rarer types of fish (and maybe oretty shells and stuff?)
