okay awesome. i might also make the cliffs the gathering place for the clans? like the leaders sit on a big rock or something down at the bottom of the cliffs while the other clan cats sit and watch from above.

Ooo the clans gather along the cliffs could be cool! Also that clan taking the land bridge for their own would be breaking the ‘no fighting by the gathering place’ thing. Which would be good story wise.

ooo your right, that could be an interesting plot point. i was also debating back and forth about whether i wanted to stick to our typical clan structure (medicine cat, warriors, ect) or spicing up some of the rankings.

Giving it more rankings could be good! It would give people more of a chance to play an important role in the clan. But at the same time the ranks need to have a specific job or they're just 'in name' jobs. Oh, and making too many might crowd things ^^ What were you thinking?

oof sorry life got busy! i was toying with the idea of having multiple healer spots and having them be able to take mates? but then i was also thinking bout adding a prophet role that would handle all the spiritual aspects of a medicine cat. idk tho.

It's all good ^^ My classes are starting soon to, so I can totally understand.
Multiple healers is good, a lot of people like to rp medicine cats. A prophet roll could also be interesting, but at the same time it's a big part of the medicine cat duties?? Like, you'd just have to figure it out with the rest of the rolls :3

Maybe start out with 2 med cats, then add another one if there is the interest? And then having two deputies wouldn't feel like too many. I could see there being a thing where if the leader died the deputies would have to do something to compete for the position. And for the plot it would be really interesting if the two deputies had differing opinions. One being to fight the other clans while the other would be peace???

that could work. i was think for the reasoning behind two deputies, is that one would be more of an advisor, while the other is the successor. but like conflict could easily brew up between 'em and maybe after a leader dies the advisor deputy wants to be leader cause they think the other is incompetent or something.

i love them all!! it so cool how you have each clan genuinely be different from the others with their lifestyles and the way they’d have to interact with thwir environment, i.e. a tree-climbing clan versus a sea-cave clan! and the plot ties into them all nicely. it’s a very cool idea you have going!

i’d be interested in leading, for sure, but i’m caught between that and just claiming a medicine cat. i really enjoy making/running Clan pages, though, so maybe I could “lead” a Clan without actually having the leader? i’m not 100%, though (hopefully some of that made sense). |

hey rose! I'm really happy to see more people interested in the roleplay! The way i was splitting up my clan would have healers separate from the starclan aspect of the medicine cat rank, so if you wanted to claim one of those and leader that's totally chill. then you don't have to choose and if you really wanted to run a clan, and just not rp the leader we could probably work around that too? like i know sparks didn't want to manage a clan, but maybe they'd be willing to work alongside you as leader of your clan? idk i don't want to force them into anything, but i don't think they'll mind if you ask. You could always merge roles too if you really wanted to!
