For the personality thing, I think it could work! I already have some written out, but I don't mind if we simplify them. So either options are ok with me. What does everyone else think?

no, i think that’s just about everything
that is, unless we wanted to add a sexuality section. i don’t think it’s nessecary, though - we could just specify in the rules to add their sexuality in the “other” section if they’re not straight |

I think it might be good to add it, just cause it helps when discussing if you want your characters to end up in a relationship or something. What Rose said would word to tho! Just make sure to remind people to add it somewhere. I think we should encourage characters having some sort of family, just cause it's fun when there are different families in the rp.

And then when you add it to your main pages you only include the first stuff? What do you guys think about including an optional photo to the form? On one hand it helps get a image of the cat, but it can look weird on the main page if one person has pictures when others don't.

images can go either way. i personally was not always fond of joining Clans when I had to use an image (it's truly a pain in the ass on mobile) but it's pretty on front pages - so I don't really have an opinion
as for the forms themselves, could I suggest using gender symbols? I love the look of them haha; so something like:
[ picture maybe?? ]
[ ♀/♂ ] -- [ name ] -- [ age in moons ] -- [ sn ] [ negative trait, neutral trait, positive trait ]

I usually do it by age, that way senior warriors are at the top, and new warriors are at the bottom.

For photos, it should either be mandatory or with none at all. Just so everyone has the same basic form. I also like the symbols!!

Yeah I agree. I'm leaning towards no picture then, and if people really want to include an image of their cat they can always post it in the other section, and it just won't get added to the main pages.

I had a friend who would do drawings of each cat in their clan and had a small area on the front page for art, would y'all be fine if I did that? It's good practice, but if not that's totally fine haha Especially you Rose! Since you'll be the main admin for Cypressclan!

Oh shoot, I was gonna respond but my post got deleted and I forgot when I was rewriting everything.
Hmm we really haven't been doing much just talking characters and stuff. Rose suggested that palm's murderer was the mate of cypress and they had kits?? So in an exchange they were going to give palmclan the kits to save cove/echo/whoever, but palmclan ended up going back on their word and still chasing out cove. But there are cats in Palmclan who are anti cypress clan but in reality they're the decendants of cypress.

*raises hand* What if my character is not conforming to the ♀/♂ genders. I get that their sex would, but are we allowing saaaaaaaaaay genderfluild, nonbinary, agender, genderqueer, etc. gender identities for the cats into the clans?
Or get creative: ⚥ ⚩ ⚲ ⴲ ☿ ⚪

Mint those would all be acceptable, you'd just write it out rather than use a symbol!

I was leaning towards semi-lit since most literate rps don't get a ton of joiners. But I also want to be open to more inexperienced rpers since they tend to have the best activity rates? So? Idk fam, idk.

I think semi-lit is probably best, tho that's just imo. You can always just do something like 'at least three lines per character' since that's more, but also not incredibly hard to do.
