I've been doing a lot of these on here lately and there seems to be quite a bit of interest on here right now. Also, I loved these on the old forums (as well as NTA), so I figured I'd make one. I will rate names on a scale of 0-10: - 0 = Canon name
- 1 = I really don't like it
- 2 = Definitely not my favorite
- 3 = Dislike
- 4 = Not great, but not horrible
- 5 = Okay
- 6 = Decent
- 7 = Nice
- 8 = I like it
- 9 = Wow, this is great
- 10 = One of my favorites; gets added to Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame: Here is my list of names that have gotten a 10 and gotten into the Hall of Fame. If you get in, you get the description of a character I designed for the name. - Shatteredstone ~ Tinyflame

Parrotscreech - 6 - Parrot- is an interesting prefix Havenheart - 7 Mistysight - 4 Nighthawk - 5 - Cool, but it’s the name of a bird and I have a hard time seeing it as a two-part warrior name  Willowsway - 3 - I keep reading it as Willows-way instead of Willow-sway so it just bugs me Crimsonblaze - 8 Shatteredstone - 10 - Wow! Congrats!! I love this one! Flamespark - 6 Stormwind - 7 Tigerlily - 5 Silverstreak - 5 Ashrain - 6 Lavablast - 6 - Interesting prefix and suffix Secretwish - 3 - I just can’t see Secret- working well |

Shatteredstone - Lithe gray tom with piercing yellow eyes. He is introverted and prefers to keep to himself, but will snap if anyone insults him or those he cares about. He is extremely protective and cares deeply about his Clan and family, often to a fault, as he won’t back down from a fight once another cat starts it.

Hello! Jaggedstrike - 7 - I'm not the biggest fan of Jagged-, but I think it fits -strike well and flows nicely Sablewing - 5 - I like it, although I just think it sounds a little weird but that's just personal preference Bayfeather - 8 - I like the uncommon prefix Parsleyheart - 5 - It's okay, but -heart is a very common suffix that I find sort of boring Dillstalk - 3 - Not a fan of the -stalk suffix Spotwing - 4 - I don't like Spot- and I think it would sound better as Spottedwing Cloverswipe - 4 - Not a fan of -swipe, though I do like Clover- Quillbreeze/dart (I don’t know which name is better for her) - 5 for -breeze and 2 for -dart - I simply prefer Feather- to Quill- as quill just makes me think of a pen, even though I know it can be used interchangeably with feather. I just never use the word quill and greatly prefer feather. However, I do like -breeze, and think that sounds better than -dart which I also dislike. Brineclaw - 3 - Interesting prefix, boring suffix Nightpoppy - 6 - Nice name, -poppy isn't my favorite suffix, but it's alright I would like reasons please, if you do them ^^ Hello! Dappleshade - Grey tom with darker spots on his back and amber eyes. Dappleshade is calm and pretty easy-going. He prefers to keep out of conflict and arguments and oftentimes is a peacemaker for quarrels between his Clanmates. |
