“More than I can count. I’ve been doing it since I was a boy.” Cally’s dad said, “though I don’t think this was a matter of my real job you’re just switching my accusation around onto me.”

Necromancer suddenly seemed a little more apprehensive. “I’m not so sure when that will be. We shouldn’t make this too public. You’ll become a target.” And that was the last thing he wanted.

Cally’s father glared at him saying, “there are many hunters. Most of them being monsters. And I don’t just do monsters, and I make sure things are quick. So that’s not really a valid argument.” He said. It would be a long road until Cally’s father trusted Remiel, if that even ever happened. Cally’s father looked to Cally saying, “sweetie, please go take your pet for a walk now I don’t want him in the house.”

Cally looked pissed, but held her tongue as she looked to Remiel saying, “come on. You’re too good for this right now.”

Necromancer smiled softly and shook his head, “but you know me better than to think I’m some washed up monster only interested in the quality of something rather than the thought right?” He said. “Whatever you get me will be fine.. especially if it’s just a night alone with you~.” He then sighed saying, “I do want to be with you. A lot actually. And we can be together.. we just can’t make a big deal about it. We should make it like one of those insinuated but never confirmed things.”

Cally gently took Remiel’s hand, pulling him out the door just as Cally’s father stood up in anger.

Necromancer sighed softly, keeping him close as he kissed his head, “it’ll all work out. I promise.” He soothed him.

Calmly sighed saying, “my dad has a short temper. But don’t worry, he’ll come around. I hope.” She gently squeezed his hand in reassurance as she said, “but my mother and brother like you. Just keep being polite my mother that’s all she needs, and keep telling my brother stories like you have been. He loves them.”

“You just being by my side makes me happy enough.” Necromancer stated. He then sat up saying, “now, we should be on our way. Don’t want to keep those monsters waiting.”

“They’ll come around. You’ve already swayed most of us. Just one should be your concern.” Cally said. She then sighed saying, “but don’t mind him too much... you can see now why I went off on my own I bet.”

Necromancer smirked a little as he watched him limp around. He helped Mercurius where he needed it. After he gently lifted his chin and gently kissed him, stalling for time so he didn’t have to go do business just yet.

Calmly nodded, “oh that would be fun!” She said, “I wonder what they did last night. Though knowing Fatid he probably literally just got a drink and then went to bed. No fun.” She said.

“Mmmm Mhm~” Necromancer said, going to kiss him briefly again before pulling away, gently taking his hand as he headed to the door. He would wait until they got outside to separate.

Calmly nodded looking excited as she looked around. She put an arm around Remiel’s waist as they walked, though his waist was very high compared to her height.

Once they reached outside Necromancer let go of Mercurius’ hand and went back to treating him just like how he used to before their night of fun. He directed the other towards where they were to meet the monster they spoke with yesterday.

Eventually, Criss did show up, walking with Fatid into town. Cally spotted them and pointed them out to Remiel.

Necromancer did a slight nod in greeting. He then said, “come, I have a path for you to lead us on.” He said before turning and going in the direction of wherever he was thinking of.

Cally then gave them both a mischievous look, “so,.. anything fun happen last night?” She said while looking between the two of them.

After a while of walking, Necro looked to the Postiguarf saying, “well, go on and tell me about the terrain.” He said. He also stopped and told him to lead them to the spot he decided upon.

Cally did the fancy eyebrow thing as she said, “did you want anything to happen?” She looked over as Criss blushed a little.

Necromancer nodded, keeping alert just in case. He had Mercurius to worry about now too, especially now that the fox was sore. He just hoped he wouldn’t be double crossed so easily.

Cally scoffed saying, “snippy snippy. Okay, keep your secrets.” She said with a small smirk, “I’ll just have assumptions then.”

“Tell me about the post we are going to. The recent... and old history.” Necromancer said as he looked to the canine curiously.


Cally snickered a little before looking ahead. “Yes lets. I’m looking forward to today.” She said.

Necromancer nodded a little saying, “alright. Take us to where you deem is the limit for you.” He said simply.

Cally shrugged saying, “my parents wanted to take today to unwind and unpack.” She said, “so the only one sitting around at home would be my brother. We can get him if you all are okay with him being around.”

Necromancer followed regally behind, standing straight at his full height.. though he couldn’t ever really do that. He wasn’t straight. The warmaster cracked a small smile as he held back a laugh at his thoughts. He made sure to keep alert as well.

Calmly nodded, “yes, I’m sure he’d love that. I’ll go run and get him.” She said as she turned.
