Cally laughed, “yes. Then I think I’ll want to focus on you a lot. Well certain parts of you that is.” She said in an attempt to be suggestive.

Remiel arched a brow, smirking slightly. "Is that so? I'm looking forward to it." He then called for the check so they could pay. "I'll meet you and Fatid at sunrise where you said then." He was eager to see her in action as a hunter.

Cally nodded as she got up, shyly reaching out to try her luck at holding his hand before going to walk towards the door.

Remiel smiled gently before taking her hand, walking to leave the restaurant with Cally.

Cally smiled proudly, as if she had accomplished something. She then soon parted ways with him, smiling happily as she began to make her way home, but she still kept an eye out for any danger. Especially that dog from earlier since she wasn’t with Fatid.

After meeting up and leaving, the trio eventually came across the cave where the stolen horde was supposed to be stashed. Remiel and Fatid kept their distance though, but close enough to be able to watch as well as step in if need be.

Cally looked to them before drawing her sword that she got. She also had her armor on, but know it wouldn’t do much. She had other small weapons also stored away in secrets places just in case they were needed. Her footsteps were light and practically soundless despite the echo.

There was at first no one there, but there was certainly a lot of valuables. Precious metals, expensive objects and clothes, all sorted neatly into piles. No theif though, at least not yet. Perhaps they were out, well, thieving.

Cally kept advancing silently, looking around at the stolen loot. She was as careful as ever though, knowing that this could very well be trap.

Deeper into the cave, there was someone shuffling around, sorting more valuables and grumbling to themselves. It sounded like a female, almost 5 feet tall on her fours, with fluffy green plumage and elongated limbs that looked almost like tree bark, with small crystals jutting out of the limbs. Electricity crackled throughout her wings as she moved about, cooing to her piles of loot as she sorted away. (A Griffex)

As Cally saw this her training kicked in and she quickly and silently disappeared into the shadows, moving along who knows where silently and slowly towards the monster.

The huge avian didn't detect Cally, just going about her business as she set down some coins in a pile. She picked some more stuff up to go put it somewhere else, grumbling about how people didn't properly appreciate valuables.

Cally crouched down behind a large stalagmite and checked the materials she had brought, knowing she wouldn’t be able to take down an electric element with just a sword. She came prepared though.

The Griffex chirped as she finally went to sit down, having caught a deer earlier and started picking at the carcass to eat. She was still unaware of Cally, but didn't seem too carefree as to be completely oblivious.

((Okay you’re going to have to clue me in a little on how to defeat this monster. I know her weaknesses are going to be water (which idk why bc water just makes Lightning more attracted to an object), or magic right?

(There's actually a section on elements closer to the top of the front page :3 The weaknesses are Fire to Water, Water to Lightning, Lightning to Earth, Earth to Darkness, Darkness to Light, Light to Metal, Metal to Magic, Magic to Nature, Nature to Fire :3 A Griffex is both Lightning and Nature, so she would be susceptible to Earth and Fire)

((Wait I am confusion. But I will go with it because you know the most about this and I am literally clueless. Okay and what if I added one of those elements to her sword, like if she had the modern day makings?

(I know, the way the weaknesses work is pretty confusing and I got my ass beat before I understood xD It's not far-fetched to assume the sword is enchanted or something)

((Okay... I may also just pull a Hiccup with the fire sword when he needed to control dragons. He made it from just flammable oil coating (I’m so dumb I can’t remember what that’s called.) and a flint match built into the handle. I can also have her have other stuff too.

Cally looked around, picking her path before advancing again silently as she prepared her weapon. She just hoped this would work. She snuck through the shadows and behind rocks until she was almost right on the back of the monster. She knew to avoid the wings she’d have to get her sword right between them. She finally leapt up onto the rock just as her sword burst into flames. She launched off of the rock and sent her flaming award deep through the center of the monster’s back.

The Griffex had already started moving, the sword plunging through the wing joint instead. Screeching, she thrashed around and sent Cally flying.

Cally had held onto the sword, yanking it out of the wing. Okay, so it wasn’t a killing blow, but it was at least enough to hopefully keep the creature from The flying. Cally relaxed, knowing not to over think things. She twirled her sword a couple times before getting in a ready stance.

The huge avian shrieked, wings flapping unevenly. "Ooh, a little human. Trying to take my feathers!" Everyone, well most, knew that even one Griffex feather was enough to exchange for a small fortune. The monster lunged for Cally, lightning crackling and springing about.

Cally was ready, diving to hide behind a large stalagmite to block the blow. “Feathers are just a bonus surprise. You’re listed for a bounty.” She said before lurching at the Griffex again, rolling just under the other wing before slicing with her sword. She made sure to stay out of the way of the lightning rippling from her.

The avian snorted. "It's not stealing if I appreciate it more!" One swipe of her talons sent lightning toward Cally. Luckily there was no plantlife in the cave though. "Look at you, little human hunter. Soon there won't be any humans left!"
