“That’s good! Who was the third team member. Another legendary tier I hope?” She asked as she walked into the restaurant. She then spoke with the hostess who led them to a table for two.

Remiel nodded. "Yes, another Legend tier. His name is Faugnar. It should be a good grouping, depending on who we face." After being seated and given menus, he added as he looked over "I'm just curious to see the Warmasters I'm hearing about around town. I haven't seen one in quite some time."

Cally shrugged, “I’ve never seen one. Or, at least I haven’t ever seen one in person.” She corrected herself. “I wonder which ones are coming. Fatid said that this tournament there’s mainly just common monsters that are participating.”

Remiel blinked. "Did he? Well, the roster said differently. There's plenty of commons, but plenty more epics. Probably because Warmasters are coming, and the stronger monsters want to show off." He snickered. "Maybe you should join and show off."

Cally raised an eyebrow, “the showing off for this tournament is going to be all you.” She said. There was no way she would join. “You and Fatid.” She added.

Remiel laughed at that. "Maybe, but consider it sometime when there's an easier roster or something. Might send a message to monsters." Probably not a major message, but a message nonetheless. "With some experience under your belt you might do alright."

“Yeah, maybe. We shall see.” Cally said, “I like that you have faith in me. Not many monsters do.” She said with a fond smile. “So, what else are you up to while around the city?” She asked.

Remiel shrugged a little. "Humans have done it before, so I don't see why one can't learn to now." He then thought for a moment. "Well, I mainly just go to shows or museums. I went to that mini Beastiarium the other day. I try not to do anything long term due to being on reserve to protect the heavens. Nothing's happened in eons but you never know."

“Oh really? We went there too. Saw a Tankerion.” Cally said, “the exhibits were all very interesting.” She commented happily.

Remiel nodded a little. "I saw him too, though that's the only one actually. You should see Ingenica's other Artifacts, Flamerion and Inknatious." He then snickered. "The only one that's more impressive than anything she could ever make is Timerion. No one knows who made him, but he's the best to have on a team. Period."

Cally looked intrigued, “oh? I haven’t heard of him. I’m from a smaller town compared to other places so we’re kind of cut off from everything. Thats why it’s good to get training done there. There’s no surprise dangers or drama.” She looked to him, “tell me more.”

Remiel smirked a little. "Well, Timerion is the prime supporter. First of all, no magic, spells, poisons, etc can affect him cause he's an Artifact. He can stop opponents from attacking, lower accuracy, lower power, boost energy and strength, heal, knows the spell Skill Mirror which allows others to replicate attacks, Evasion which allows others to well, evade attacks, and more. To put it simple, he's a damn good supporter when he's got good energy."

“Sounds really powerful.” Cally said, tilting her head towards Remiel, “I can see why you like him.” She teased.

Remiel chuckled. "He's a marvel to say the least. Even more so because he's entirely mechanical. An automaton who's learned how to use magic and powers of its own." He then sighed. "He doesn't usually participate in tournaments now though. He travels with a human male who's a merchant. He's surprisingly... well, passive despite being one of the most powerful creatures."

“Huh, maybe the merchant his creator then.” Cally said. “Or are they just partners?” She asked, or could they be more than just partners? Now she wanted to know.

Remiel shook his head. "God no. Timerion is centuries old. One of the very first mechanical constructs made by man. Or woman. No one knows. As of them being more than friends? I'm not sure either. Maybe you'll see them on your travels one day."

Cally nodded, “that would be an honor.” She said, “have you ever met them?” She asked curiously, “maybe if you traveled with me you could introduce me.” She said.

Remiel nodded. "I have met them, yes. Maybe after the tournament we can go to one of the cities they stop at and see if they're there. They do pass through here sometimes. Maybe you can have a look around the marketplace sometime." He then looked as the waiter came to take their order.

Cally nodded with a smile, “Yeah, I’d like that.” She said, “but only if Fatid can come too.” She wasn’t about to ditch him for Remiel. “You should help me set him up with someone.” She added, “he’s super sweet, but those washed up lady monsters don’t see past looks.”

Remiel nodded. "Of course Fatid can come." He then arched a brow. "Playing matchmaker, hm? Should be fun." There was someone for everyone after all. "So, after this when are you going to want to leave to start the job?"

“I’m probably going leave early tomorrow. While you went to sign up for the tournament I signed on for the job. I’m leaving probably a little before sunrise. I can tell you where Fatid and I are staying if you’d like to meet us.”

Remiel nodded. "Sure, tell me and I'll be there." He was curious to see Cally in action. "I can't wait to see you on the job." He smiled brightly at her.

Cally shrugged, “true. And I also can’t wait to see yours and Fatid’s fighting techniques during the tournament.” She then smiled and thanked the server before beginning to eat hungrily.

Remiel smiled a little. "You'll be surprised hopefully. As long as the principles of a good team are followed, which is to work off of strengths, we should he fine." He then began to eat as well, stomach growling slightly.

“I’m good. But really, at least let me split the bill with you.” Cally offered, “I don’t want you to feel obligated to pay because it’s the first day-or get together!” She shrank down a little, “or whatever this is..”

Remiel smiled gently. "I'd like to think of it as a little date." He then chuckled. "Not an official one. I still have to take you out to that dinner, though that night will be after the job and the tournament and all. When things have cooled down and we can focus on each other."
