Cally smiled a little and blushed, “you flatter me, but I’m sure a charming man like you probably has tons of monster and human women wrapped around your finger. I’m not going to be that easy to get.” She said, remembering what Fatid said about his past partners.

Remiel smiled a little. "I like to think so, but I'd hate to have you think I run off with someone every night or something." His wings twitched at that. "Oh? Well that means I'll have to try hard then, but I'm looking forward to it. Most women kinda just dangle themselves in front of me. Means they're just looking for a screw and the status that comes with a Legend tier."

Cally laughed, “you literally just admitted to what I was saying about having plenty of women, monsters or human, to be with. You could literally snag any woman here if you wanted.” She then smirked a little, “besides, if I did just want to hook up, I’m so small and you’re so big. I wonder if you’d even fit..”

Remiel laughed. "Perhaps I could, but there's not much fun in it these days, especially if you've been around as long as I have." He then arched a brow. "Well, you never know for sure unless you try. Maybe we will one day, who knows."

“Yeah, but at least buy me dinner first.” Cally teased before taking his hand to twirl herself, giggling as she did. “So, how old are you exactly? I’m 23.” She asked.

Remiel smiled. "I'd be happy to." He then blinked when asked about his age. "Old enough to walk with humans that could only grunt and yell for verbal communication. I stopped counting ages ago." He smiled sheepishly. "I age well though at least?" He didn't look older than mid twenties, maybe late twenties.

Cally looked a little shocked as she looked him up and down. “You age phenomenally! I mean look at you!” She said while doing a quick circle around him. “Damn.” She said once going back in front of him again. “I wish I will have somewhat of the same luck as you, old man.” She teased.

Remiel laughed. "My angel blood keeps me from succumbing to old age." He smiled sheepishly. "Hopefully you live long, but even if you die early I'll get to see you again. You just... wouldn't be able to come back down here. We'd get to keep each other company in a much better place though~"

Cally smiled a little up at her new friend, “that’s very kind of you to make sure that I’m not lonely even after death.” She said. She didn’t want to think about that now though. “So, who are your friends? I think I saw a glimpse of you with a few people before I literally ran into you.”

Remiel shrugged. "Just some people I met up with at the market and one of the arenas. I don't have any real friends in this city. You never know who's genuine and who isn't. Most of the time."

“Well. Now you have me. I am a very genuine person. Or, at least I try to be.” She said, “and if you’d like you can be the second friend I’ve made so far on my journey.” She said. “But that also means you have to be genuine too you know.”

Remiel smiled. "I will be. Are you going to be staying long? You should be careful if you are. There's plenty of people looking for excuses to nab you."

“I think I may stay for a little while. At least a week or so. I’m also watching Fatid participate in a tournament in a few days.” She said, “and trust me. I am well aware of the dangers. I’ve already been approached by a dog and had been threatened to be stolen and sold the second I step away from my only real protection over at the bar.” She said while gesturing towards her friend.

Remiel arched a brow. "Well, I'm sure Fatid will keep you safe, but if you're a hunter you shouldn't really rely on him too much." He smiled a little. "Maybe I'll hear of your reputation one day if you keep it up." He then smirked. "Or maybe I'll be able to see it for myself if we end up sticking around each other."

“Yeah maybe.” Cally agreed. She then huffed, “but the only protection I need from him is from the dogs. I can’t carry a weapon around twenty-four-seven, and if I tried to face them with just myself to rely on I’ll be caught eventually for sure. I really just need him to tell them off...” she said.

Remiel nodded slowly. "Well, maybe things will be different once you leave Crystalline." He chuckled. "You'll probably come across a whole bunch of men to pick from."

Cally sighed, “maybe. But I don’t know.” She said in response to his second comment. So, how long are you staying for? Did you come for the tournament as well?” She asked.

Remiel nodded. "Yes and no. Just came to watch the tournaments for fun. Unless some more suitable monsters end up joining the roster. Legend tiers are Legend tiers for a reason. It's not much of a tournament if it's a bunch of Common and Uncommon monsters."

“Oh, I see. Well, you’re welcome to come and watch Fatid participate with me if you’d like.” Cally suggested. She then smiled a little, “I’m sure it’ll still be exciting.”

Remiel smiled at the offer. "I think I'll take you up on that. It should be fun." He then looked at Cally teasingly. "Maybe you should try your luck one day. Humans used to compete as well." He then frowned a little. "Well, when they and monsters considered themselves more equals."

Cally smiled happily when he accepted. She then sighed, “Maybe, but I’d have to train a whole lot more.” She said. “There would be no way that I could compete against other monsters like you and Fatid...” She said.

Remiel nodded a little. "Maybe find someone to train with. I assume you trained somewhere. Maybe head back?" An ear twitched once, and he continued "Unless you left for a reason, then I suppose you'd have to find another mentor."

Cally sighed as the song playing began winding down, “come on. I need another drink.” She said, “and yes I left because I wanted to see what else was out there, but it seems that I will be perusing hunting after all. So yeah, maybe I will go back.”

Remiel joined her at the bar, glancing around as the others there talked and laughed away. "Well, then I hope you do good and know which hunts to pick up. Plenty of hunters make the mistake of going for the jobs that pay the most."

“I know. I will work at my skill level. I’m not trying to get myself killed.” She joked, “so what do you do for work? Other than tournaments of course.” She asked after ordering a drink.

Remiel shook his head. "I don't "work" per say. I'm sort of... on call. I guard the gates to the heavens, and can port there in a blink." He chuckled. "I don't really need money though, but it's a ice reward for tournaments."

“You seem like you would be pretty good in tournaments. You seem powerful.” Cally said as she drank her drink, “maybe you should show of for me sometime.” She joked, laughing a little.

Remiel chuckled and nodded. "I just might. Maybe I will join the tournament. Fatid and I can see about finding a third monster." He smirked at her. "Maybe I'll attract the attention of a certain human."

Cally smirked a little, looking to him, “maybe. We’ll see how well you do.” She teased. She knew her attention would still be with Fatid. She would make sure to stick with the friend she was going to cheer for first.

"We'll see," Remiel said with a laugh, finishing off his drink and asking for another. "Just like we'll see if you become quite the huntress. Not that I doubt-" He then looked as someone snorted "A human playing hunter again? The idea gets more and more laughable every time I hear it!" He looked over at the rabbit creature. Maybe six feet tall, green fur everywhere save for the ears and hands, sharp teeth and claws and dorsal frills.
